Gainful Pakodas

Shantaben got married and lived in a small village called “Gadh” (about 25 kms from Palanpur) in Gujarat. She had 2 girls and then a boy. Her husband died when the boy was four. Shantaben’s husband had left her nothing but the small house they lived in. None of her family or relatives were that well off to support her. She sold off a few household items and with whatever little money she had, she opened a tiny grocery store on the veranda of her house. This was mid-1950s and all the stuff she stocked wouldn’t have cost more than Rs.100 at best. With whatever little gains she made, she sent the kids to school and brought them up. The girls were married off after class-5 or 6, the boy was allowed to continue his education and as he grew, he also helped in the business by weekly runs to Ahmedabad to buy from the wholesale markets and bring the stuff to Gadh.

Fifteen years later, the girls being married, the boy had graduated from college, Shantaben bought a tenement in Ahmedabad and the son moved there and found a job and later started his own business. One married sister lived in a chawl in Goregaon, Mumbai. The eldest sister lived in the slums of Borivali, the “Jhopdi” costing a “Paagdi” of 1 lakh plus rent in early 1970s. Into the mid-1980s all the siblings were doing well and economically well off. The sisters and their families had also moved into good flats in good localities in Mumbai. Shantaben ran her little grocery store till a month before her death in February 2008. She never needed money from anyone. This is a true story; the boy is a long-time friend of mine. All the family members are now well-off and living a life of comfort.

I know more than a dozen stories like this around me and from many towns. I am sure everyone reading this post also has many such stories around them. Most Indian families have risen through great struggles. They weren’t born into rich families like the Royals or politicians or rich businessmen. In a recent interview with Sudhir Chaudhary of ZeeTV, PM Modi stated Mudra loans helped people start their own tiny businesses and that too should count as “employment”. As an example, he stated that a man taking a loan and selling “Pakodas” and making Rs.200 a day is also employed.

That was neither a celebratory statement nor one made in great chest-thumping claim of having generated huge employment. Modi stated it in a very “matter of fact” manner and nothing more. This was enough to yank the rusty chains of the Congis and other Commies. All these “Elite Pigs” started screaming this is not employment. What is it then? What is their definition of employment? Living under MNREGA or working at a Call Centre? Worst among the Comrats was none other than the Commie outfit of Varadabhai which seems to have great ideas of what really constitutes “employment”:

So, selling Pakodas through a kiosk or “Laari” set up with the govt’s Mudra loan is not “employment” according to a writer called Gurdeep Sappal at the TheWire. A man or woman (and sometimes whole family) works at construction sites labouring hours for about Rs.100 a day and I guess, for Commies, that too would not constitute employment. In a country like India, long decimated by the Commie policies of Congress and the Commies in Bengal or Kerala employment has always been a problem. All that the Commies knew was at best “Band-Aid” to fix many problems and they have still left behind thousands of social problems. From Reservations to MNREGA, all of these are nothing but quick-fixes and band-aids that have brought more problems than creating wealth for anyone.

Commies are a “Stagnant, Static” bunch of people with no innovation and no imagination whatsoever. Businessmen and entrepreneurs, no matter how tiny or small, are not static or stagnant. They aspire to grow their business. I know many stories of Bhaaji Paav walas, Vada Paav walas, Samosa walas making it big through sheer commitment and perseverance. That’s what it takes to make a business successful. Business growth and wealth are outcomes of Commitment, Consistency and also functions of price and quality. Something the free-loading Commies who are used to the “Mai Baap” feeding them forever will never understand. The 200 per day Pakoda-seller wouldn’t intend to remain in that situation forever. The govt has lent him a helping hand and then he is on his own skill and commitment to repay the loan and make the business a success. In contrast, Commies with zero commitment will whine and find potholes where there are none, like TheWire:

Writing garbage is also a great skill. Even the “Kabadiwala” makes money, so do garbage writers of the Commie style. How exactly did the PM “Celebrate” it as a success? All he said was the Mudra thing was helping people and selling Pakodas and earning 200 a day is ALSO employment. And the Commie grandly says it is nothing but “under-employment”. The actual under-employment is at dens like the TheWire where people with redundant ideologies keep whining, cribbing and spewing venom over what is possibly a glimmer of hope for millions. And the irony is, that the writer claims NITI has acknowledged “under employment”. Well, what do these free-loaders know? Soon, this Pakodawala could well be employing 2 or 3 assistants in his business when it starts growing. Not everybody is cut out for a desk job and not everybody wants it. And who are the people really under-employed? The same Commies who do nothing but whine, don’t earn money or generate wealth for the country but beg the public to feed them money, seeking donations:

These “Educated Commie Beggars” are not even asking for a loan or a subscription. They are asking for a “DONATION” of all things. Are these people some educational outfit or NGO? No, they are a business unit and still seeking donations. If their business and analysis and crap they talk about is so good, why don’t they stake their personal assets and take a regular loan from a bank? They will not! The Commie life is one of a social scumbag, a leech that lives off free-loading from every possible source – the public, the govt and even enemies of the State. And these guys are lecturing others on what employment means? These shameless characters can’t even earn their own living and they mock the ordinary Pakodawala and the PM’s Mudra scheme for self-employment? The Pakodawala shows more character with his honest business no matter how low-paying it currently may be.

There’s another thing that these Comrats miss. Even at lower starting amount the Pakodawala is “Gainfully employed”. Imagine that he is not. What could possibly happen? Total unemployment leads to many vices and crimes. We have seen how Commie states of Bengal or Kerala have seen frequent violence and crimes owing to unemployment. Many unemployed people fall prey to the temptation of easy money through illegal activities. That the Mudra scheme keeps them gainfully self-employed also keeps possible crimes off the street. Many media folks like Barkha, Sagarika, Rahul Kanwal and others have blamed lack of economic opportunities as a reason for some becoming terrorists. Although all terrorists aren’t really economically backward. Keeping a man or woman occupied for 8-12 hours a day means a lot more than merely earning 200 per day, apart from the chance that they will go on to earn much more in the coming days and years and be wealthy. This is an important social accomplishment and cannot be dismissed as under-employment. There is more honour in it than the “educated commie beggars” show from their worthless pursuits:

On the website of TheWire they have a link called “Support the Wire” which seeks donations of Rs.200 minimum. Why in hell are well off people begging for donations? All the owners of TheWire are people who have made a lot of money one way or another. They have earned millions from political-pimping and yet want to live off public money? It’s an eternal principle of the Comrats – “Always keep the poor people poor and keep them beggars for life” as the Congis did and as the Comrats in Bengal, Kerala and other places do. And shiny suits and ties they may wear but TheWire is still a BEGGAR and nothing more. All they do is rant and rave and whine and bitch about everything that ModiSarkar does. Half the time they talk like bored, bitchy housewives of TV serials. They can’t grasp the simple age-old principle of setting a person free from economic shackles as ordinary people so easily understand it:

One of the problems of many commentators in media and elsewhere is that they don’t consider self-employment as proper employment. I think the Pakodawala is more important to the lives of people than worthless hate-mongers like Varadabhai or Sagarika and their ilk. For decades the Congi-Commie gang mocked the poor with false promises and crumbs from their elite palaces. This is so called “Intellectual” gang is out of touch, out of time and dead to new realities on the ground. And some of them work for channels that have investments from the Ambani group – Their founder was a gas station attendant. Only political pimps seek shortcuts not the humble, small gainfully employed Pakodawalas.

Modi Can't Swim

The last few days have been quite slow for India. As someone on Twitter explained; since Narendra Modi came to power in a bloodless coup, aided by Shekhar Gupta, through which he deposed Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi he has been idle and doing nothing. It’s not just that he overthrew the ‘Left-Honourable’ SoniaG’s govt but planted 282 of his own party members in the Lok Sabha. As Ashutosh and Somnath Bharti of AAP keep telling us, this is a “joke on our democracy”. Modi-Sarkar just got past the 100 day mark and all signs warn us of the dangers of his regime lasting another 3550 days and perhaps even beyond. Dark clouds hover over India as the Congress, AAP and our media rightly tell us. In these 100 days the world-renowned, respected, regarded, decorated media-man with the highest integrity-quotient quickly wrote a book to tell us how the 2014 coup changed India. Here’s Rajdeep Sardesai:

Readers should observe carefully how 46 years ago an American writer plagiarised Rajdeep’s cover-title for his book. As Kanchan Gupta points out, many will be reading Rajdeep’s book to understand how despite the most valiant attempts Rajdeep couldn’t stop a Hitler-like Modi from usurping power. India is in trouble as Barkha Dutt, S. Varadarajan (Varadabhai), Hartosh Bal keep telling us. We should have heeded their warnings before May 2014. But as Markandeya Katju established earlier, 90% of Indians are fools. The other 10% are in Congress, AAP, “Sicko” parties, NDTV, CNN-IBN, TimesNow and in Bengal and UP. Two days back NaMo addressed school kids in a brazen attempt to poison their minds with his communal agenda. He talked for so long that it left enough time for P. Malini, editor of The Love-Hindu, to run around thousands of schools in Bangalore to find this school where a kid wanted a bathroom-break during his speech:

See what I mean? Millions of students may have listened to the barbaric speech of Modi but real patriotism and nationalism lies in finding out that one school, one classroom and one kid that wants a bathroom-break. The 90% fools in India probably don’t understand the effort it takes to find this kid with his little finger up. You have to be awe-struck at the artistic skills that our media possesses. Stunning! Talking of which, I can give you some cues on how such skills are acquired and what kind of “genteel” teachers impart those. Here:

Now you understand? If you want your child to seek a career in journalism, find a school that has “genteel Bonginis” as teachers who use cuss words and your kid is on her way. Sunetra Chaudhury is living proof. I wonder how many kids in India who didn’t learn the word “shit” in Class-2 fell into Katju’s 90% and never made a mark in journalism or in any profession. So what in hell does Modi know about teachers or students? Idle and with nothing to do, he is indulging in bladder-rocking speeches which send students to the toilets (which may be non-existent in many schools). Rahul Gandhi, India’s greatest living intellectual, earlier pointed out that Modi went all the way to Japan to play drums. RG screamed “Modi talked about corruption” and is doing nothing. You can’t disagree. One hopes Modi will at least start some corruption soon. It’s boring in the media. It wasn’t limited to playing drums. Modi had tea in Japan with their PM when he himself is a tea-seller and tea is a lot cheaper in India. He was also feeding the fish in Japan when thousands are dying of hunger in India. All that was still tolerable but Modi went ahead and did the unthinkable:

You didn’t have anything better to gift? What were you thinking? Didn’t you have Shobha De’s books on philosophy? Couldn’t you have waited for Rajdeep’s book; fresh from the oven? There’s Barkha Dutt writing her book (she’s been writing for the last 15 years) “India’s fault-lines destroying Pakistan”. Even otherwise, why gift a book like Bhagwad Gita which is full of hate verses loved by those communal, extremist Hindus and millions of such others in the world? Modi did it knowing well that it would deeply hurt the sentiments of the “Seculars” which he cunningly hid from the public as the tweet-reports above indicate. Naturally, they asked the right questions to Modi:

Yeah! Why not the Quran or the Bible? Or the Torah? Why not genuine Indian books which were born in India? Why gift the Bhagwad Gita which was concocted and written in some corner of Azerbaijan? Appalling! NDTV is genuinely outraged at this undemocratic, anti-secular act of Modi gifting the Gita. They hired Paki-pimp Varadabhai to analyse the whole episode:

So Varadabhai (I fondly call him that) wrote a thesis “Modi's Gita Comment Was Dangerously Loaded”. This is true! Behind the act of gifting the Gita and that “Seculars” comment, Modi clearly has some “Sudarshan Chakras” hidden under his half-sleeved Kurtas which he might unleash anytime at the helpless minorities in India. The evidence gathered by Varadabhai is unimpeachable. Varadabhai’s conclusion that Modi has not even read the Gita, let alone understand it, is worthy of the Padma Bhushan or at least a Pulitzer from his home country. Kudos to the pimps at NDTV! Oh by the way, Modi is not the only one who has never read or understood the Gita. We have some others in the same category who were ranting against Varadabhai:

The above two are media-friendly people so their ignorance of the Gita or Modi’s ignorance of it has to be even more shocking. They deserve our severe condemnation for questioning Varadabhai and indirectly his drug-vehicle NDTV. And what does it say about other hate-mongers who want to exploit this act of Modi with their versions of ads in promoting the Gita?

Those who created this ad cleverly avoided adding Modi’s secret mantra: “Utterly butterly commoonal – Amul”! Doesn’t matter; we all know what’s going on behind that 56-inch chest. 100 days already wasted and many more will be wasted sinking India. Although the Congress, NDTV, TimesNow and other Sickos complain about Modi doing nothing they missed some signals he had given before the May 16 coup. They rightly observe he has done nothing and is still doing nothing. Were they sleeping for the last 14 years when he was doing nothing? I wonder how all the intellectuals in these groups missed Modi’s accidental confession. Here’s his candid admission on a TV show (0.59 mins):

So what’s the big fuss about? Modi secretly let out that he deserves no credit for Gujarat’s progress or development. He let out that he has no work and does no work for the govt. So why are they shocked now? Modi is only doing what he has been doing for the last 14 years – NOTHING! It’s only the Congress and our media folks who missed that and discovered it too late. We in Gujarat discovered it long back – that Modi does nothing. And we kept voting him because we belong in the 90% group of Katju unlike the Congis, NDTV or Varadabhai.

I’m in a generous mood, though, and will do the Congis and our MSM a good turn. I will remind them of how Modi employs certain “black magic” tricks frequently. I quote from an earlier post: “When Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sabarmati River front in Ahmedabad he took a boat ride. Strong winds blew off his cap which fell some 50 feet away from the boat on the water. An unperturbed Modi just got off the boat, walked on water, retrieved his cap and walked back to the boat”. Modi has been giving all the signs that he will indulge in such black-magic again in the next few months. And when he does, you can expect the headlines from our media: “Modi Can’t Swim”. Shame on him, no?

The Real Mass Murderers

(This is a MaxiPost)

Injecting poison into the public vein:

On April 9 someone from the Congress party made a grand claim. A person allegedly called Shaktisinh Gohil of Gujarat Congress claimed Narendra Modi wasn’t an OBC but was an upper-caste man. Having done that the rest of the party of liars joined in to scream the same claim. Actually, it should hardly matter what caste Modi belongs to. But trust our media to scream about it as if some great calamity had befallen the nation. Within minutes the fact came out that Modi’s community was declared OBC in 1994 by none other than a Congress govt in Gujarat. You would think that documentary evidence would have settled it. But no! The media morons kept running the same Congress crap through the day. Karan ‘The Tool’ Thapar even held a debate over it on HeadlinesToday despite the facts being out. Do you still need a debate once the truth is out? You see, this is what pigs like. No matter what, they like to dabble in filth. The media screams about every little thing Modi says and does; most of it irrelevant to any major debate.

There was a major crime by Rahul Gandhi a few days ago. He said “22000” people will be killed if BJP wins the elections. Looks like the man is naturally gifted with moronery and he claimed the Japanese were afraid of BJP too. Given such a statement there was no outrage in the media. There were no heated debates over it. No one even seemed to want to talk about it. It took even the EC another nine days to issue a notice to RahulG for violation of MCC. In any case I think the MCC is a load of rubbish and the EC a toothless body. Even if they had teeth the EC seems spineless and partisan. However, it seems any poison that is hurled into the public domain against Modi and BJP is acceptable to the media. Anything! With a stray exception here and there, the media is guilty of being an accomplice in such mass-poisoning.

The mass murderers of journalism:

I call Barkha, Arnab and Rajdeep the lowest BAR in journalism. Degeneration of TV news owes them a great debt. Drama, sensationalism, fake news and even absolute lies characterise their TV channels. Despite their contempt for the man and their consistent loathing, all of them desire an interview with Narendra Modi. Like a jealous poodle Rajdeep even ridicules other journalists who manage an interview with Modi. So what happens when one of these “news traders” (as Modi calls them) does get an interview? He makes an absolute sham of it. That’s what Arnab Goswami did. He didn’t have any real questions for Modi except a couple of stray ones on illegal immigration and Indo-Pak relations.

A man who could be PM is with you and all that the gasbag Arnab could ask him was about frivolous “Neech” politics and mundane questions on 2002 that have been asked a zillion times already. They really don’t know what to ask the man. I think more than obliging Arnab with an interview it is Modi who wanted to badly slap the moron for his pathetic behaviour as a news editor. Arnab has been batting for Congress, particularly Mrs Vadra, as if his life depended on it for more than a month. Even an idiot can tell that such campaigning for Congress can’t come free and had to come with a great payoff. Modi was scoring free hits off a guy who otherwise screams a lot but became a rat once a giant was in front of him. Here’s how I had quickly summarised this show:

Modi reminded Arnab of the “filth” in the media heads and their vendetta journalism. He directly asked Arnab why the media was so bent on protecting the “Gandhi family”. That’s a question millions have been asking too. Throughout the last six months Arnab would hold debates and no matter what the crime, invariably point fingers at Modi or BJP as being the criminal. Even when the EC behaved in a partisan and biased manner the debate was twisted to show the BJP being the offender rather than a victim of the incompetent EC. It is out of sheer respect that I am stopping short of calling the bunch of jokers at EC a corrupt bunch. They gave a clean chit to RahulG for meddling with an EVM in a booth in Amethi and then cancelled rally permissions to Modi in Varanasi.

In the RahulG case Arnab was questioning Smriti Irani on why she was complaining instead of hauling RahulG over the coals. When their crimes became evident the CEC put supervisors over the biased DM at Varanasi. Arnab’s unwillingness to speak the truth and call facts as they are and then protect the Gandhi-Vadra family as Modi pointed should classify him and his co-morons as murderers of journalism. They are the real mass-murderers of truth and guilty of injecting poison in the public vein with their lies.

If all that wasn’t enough, NDTV and CNN-IBN have a regular practice of peddling absolute nonsense about Modi. A few weeks back NDTV tweeted Modi’s mantra is to “eat and let others eat” (implying encouragement of corruption). They later apologised. Here’s the latest nonsense from Rajdeep Sardesai and his channel:

Modi’s assets are around 1.6 crores. There is no doubt the CNN-IBN lie is a blooper but the question people are asking is: “why are these bloopers happening with such unfailing regularity with only Modi and BJP and never with anyone else?” The motive is to simply peddle lies that can stick as long as they’re not caught. It’s a lot like the fake “billion votes” headline that CNN-IBN keeps blabbering about when voters are around 800 million.

S. Varadarajan – Stats-Nazi & Murderer of truth:

When Arnab asked about justice in the 2002 riots cases, Modi pointed out, as he has done many times before, that he and MSM should research the recent history of communal riots in India. That they will find most convictions have materialised in case of the 2002 riots. So Varadabhai (as I fondly call him) promptly and obediently does some research of his own. Very diligent, I would say and he sends out this tweet:

How timely, eh? Who would have thought Stanford, of all people, would tell us about convictions in India and that too release their report just at the time of elections. So Modi asked media guys to do some research on May 8 and Varadabhai writes his research report on May 9. He posts a blog with nothing much but this pic of figures quoted from the Stanford report:

Splendid! So Varadabhai, the Stats-Nazi, wants to quote a Stanford report and tell us Modi is not right in claiming convictions in Gujarat 2002 episode was higher than communal riots of recent history. John McEnroe would have said “Of the thousands of research papers; you had to get a moron like Stanford?” Because a closer look at the Stanford paper reveals a poor study of the cases:

First, the Stanford reports includes cases of Section 144 where some arrests and prosecutions were made. Anyone in India would know 144 is imposed at the drop of a hat and does not always qualify as a communal riot. What is Varadabhai blabbering about? Besides, the report does not include any reference to the major communal riots of recent history. It appears to use frivolous data of cases from general unlawful assembly and riots and not purely communal riots as we know it. The anti-Sikh riots of 1984 alone claimed 8000+ lives (3000 in Delhi alone) for which there were hardly any cases. There is no mention of frequent riots in Assam, Bengal or UP and the list is a very long one. So the Stanford report relies on police files and not the actual lack of justice for communal riots. Besides, all the cases used by Stanford don’t fall under the classification of communal riots. They have also not provided any information on what major cases they used for this study. This is what academic researchers do and not alleged journalists.

Varadabhai conveniently quotes this piece of junk without elaborating on the lapses of the report. Importantly, if Stanford had done a research ONLY on communal riots in India one would understand even if it had errors but that they had a special focus only on Gujarat 2002 Vs general riots and that betrays their motives and intentions. (There were many riots in the 1970s against IndiraG which led to Emergency. Those do not qualify as communal riots). That makes them just one among hundreds who have attempted to milk 2002. Had Varadabhai merely tweeted about the report it would have been fine but he wrote a blog post promoting these stats as gospel. Considering he is anti-Modi, anything he can lay his hands on would be Godsend. But this is what I call mass murder of truth. And I also tweeted that “Pigs will find garbage anywhere” to conveniently nibble on.

-----------*----------

We have long held journalists and govt officials like the EC and many others in reverence. Indians should stop this unhealthy practice. Facts have proven over and over again that many of these persons and entities are corrupt to the core. It is good to have a healthy respect for high offices and public figures. But there is no need for Godification of any office or individual. Everyone must be tested and questioned. Most of all, facts have also shown that the real mass murderers in our society are in the media. They murder the truth and inject poison in the public domain every single day. Respect them when they perform honestly, trash them severely when they commit blue murder.
