Caution: Violence Ahead

(This is a Maxipost)

On every street in every city, there's a nobody who dreams of being a somebody”. That tagline is not the introduction to ambitious, ladder-climbing college graduates. It’s the introduction to one of the most psychotic vigilantes ever put on film. We lately have some of these nobodies who want to be somebodies and they are going about it the vigilante way. Arvind Kejriwal, Somnath Bharti, Manish Sisodia, Ashish Khetan, Ashutosh, Sanjay Singh etc are men most people had not heard much about till about 2-3 years ago. A couple of them being in the media may be recognisable but weren’t top of the mind for anyone.

I’m a big fan of Martin Scorsese movies (He’s often called the greatest director for good reasons) and often refer to his movies in my posts. “As far back as I can remember I always wanted to be a gangster” is the opening introduction from his classic mafia true story “Goodfellas”. But the line is not just in the movie but it’s a line from Scorsese’s own life. As a youngster, Scorsese wanted to be a gangster or a priest. Fortunately for the world he became a film director. Sometime back MS explained that people are fascinated by violence and lives of these gangsters. They don’t want to be gangsters but they love the lifestyle of these scumbags. MS handles the violent nature of humans in an astonishing manner and quite graphically. People are fascinated how the goondas move around in style, break all laws, instant revenge, and wear clothes to suit their crime and all that. Naturally, our media feeds and breeds violent behaviour and criminals. I’m not joking; a long time back I wrote the post “Media loves criminals, makes crime attractive” and there is abundant evidence media thrives on violence and criminal behaviour. AK and his gang know this quite well. Politically AK is no more as relevant as before the Delhi elections, which is why the frequency of violence, ruckus and verbal outrage has gone up. Gone also is the decency from his public conduct.

Let’s see the sequence of events since AK resigned as CM. He decides to protect the Congress scams by diverting attention and attack only Narendra Modi and the BJP. The Congress is now mentioned only as a casual reference. Never mind that. He rushes to Gujarat, creates ruckus, seeks to be arrested for his theatre. His gang creates more nonsense at toll booths and drive past without paying the charges at Gandhidham. His goons spread rumours of his arrest and violence follows in Delhi. Then he lands up in Mumbai and the Congress govt organises a special local train for him. His goons go on a rampage which is more theatre for media and his AAP goons like Prashant Bhushan blame the police. He lands up at Nagpur and makes bogus claims of Modi-media nexus and issues threats to media promising to send some to jail. Clearly, the idea is to trash those channels which have carried the reports about AK’s pimping with Punya Prasoon Bajpai of AajTak. Following this his goons call another presser to occupy media and accuse Zee TV, TimesNow, and IndiaTV as “paid media”; a term that SM generally uses for most media outlets. Are the tactics clear?

Note that AK creates ruckus in Gujarat and then in Mumbai (the Sena HQ). Then he skips all other meetings in Maharashtra (a Congress state) and lands up in Nagpur. Why Nagpur? Well, doesn’t take Einstein to tell you it’s the RSS HQ and also Nitin Gadkari’s home town. So the erstwhile fake corruption-fighting superman has his action plan very clear: protect Sonia Gandhi and Congress scams from being discussed in the public domain by repeated ruckus in public places, violence by his party and outrageous statements thrown at the media almost every hour by him or any of his party members. Clever! It would take an extreme moron to even claim that any media channel has or is being friendly to Modi. Everyone knows that the media hangs on every utterance of Modi to rip him apart. Some folks like Barkha Dutt and Rajdeep Sardesai have actually built their entire career abusing Modi and nothing has changed there. And who are some of AAP candidates for elections? The biggest Modi-haters like Ashutosh, Ashish Khetan, Shazia Ilmi and the like. Here’s a tweet from Anubha Bhonsle, a journalist from CNN-IBN:

Anubha speaks the absolute truth when she says journos themselves have taken away resources from what is in public interest and given more time to the thuggery of the likes of AK & Co. Some like Manisha Priya, frequent panellist on TimesNow, also says AK’s actions and utterances seem indicators for another Emergency. Maybe that is what AK and Congress want sensing they are likely to face a political thrashing although I would think that is far-fetched in this day and age. But not entirely impossible either. What Anubha doesn’t acknowledge is that her own boss at CNN-IBN has been an active participant in promoting this anarchy of AK. Both Rajdeep and Sagarika have actively encouraged AK to a point of no return. Let’s catch up on a video of Rajdeep’s speech at a media event where he claims credit for advising AK and Kiran Bedi to carry out a Tahrir Square-like agitation in Delhi. Video (2.30 mins, some subtitles added):

Wow! Rajdeep rightly inspires AK, a genius who understands media he says, to carry out a Tahrir like campaign. Err… do it in Delhi, not in Mumbai.  Nothing wrong, except for the fact that having made that grand inspirational suggestion to AK, Rajdeep wouldn’t want his own agitation-idea to fail. Why? He would naturally want and back AK to succeed in everything he undertakes because Rajdeep grandly claims the idea was his own. So even when the monster AK acted horrendously Rajdeep chose to gently defend him with devious tweets and excuses. It is natural that Rajdeep had to back “his idea” to succeed which explains both CNN-IBN’s and its sibling IBN’s extraordinary backing for AAP over the last many months, before and after the Delhi elections. AK was at interviews with Rajdeep at the drop of every topi. Not just Rajdeep but even Bajpai and Anjana Om Kashyap were pimping heavily for AK all through the last few months. Their videos are out in the public too. So, the “paid media” nonsense of AK and his goons is directed at those channels that criticise them. Timesnow has already been boycotted by AK and AAP and only a sorry excuse called Kamal Chenoy appears as an unofficial spokie for them. The sequence of violence or threats of violence backed with outrageous statements is not accidental as smooth Commie Yogendra Yadav proves:

Alright, so if Modi becomes PM India will burn he says. Question is who is going to do the burning part? My answer is clearly the AAP goons. The danger is that the violence that Yogi promises may not happen after Modi becomes PM but before and during the nine phases of elections. The AAP members have Naxal sympathisers and the Naxals too have taken a strong liking to the party. Some of the members of AAP are underground or overt Naxals. Therefore, Yogi’s warning is a clear threat of violence that is being scheduled or being planned by the AAP thugs. The media loves this. The media loves that AK and AAP bring so much violence, ruckus and outrageous nonsense to the public domain and to the streets. It’s not unique to India, it’s a universal phenomenon. “Natural Born Killers” is an Oliver Stone movie from 1994. It’s a story of a young couple who simply go around the country killing people because they love it and there’s the media chasing them making them heroes. The couple even have fans who want to be killed by them. Let’s watch a quick video (1.17 mins):

The media delights in violent crimes. Their reporters will go any length to gain TRPs from violent incidents and mob behaviour. In the movie above a media crook even goes to the extent of covering the young killers’ escape from jail LIVE. Such is media’s fascination with violence and street thuggery. The movie is fictional but don’t dismiss it as not being relevant to real life. Here’s what a report about “Natural Born Killers” says:

Is it any surprise that right from the beginning Rajdeep and his ilk wanted to make AK and his goons cult heroes? Rajdeep and Barkha may scream and tweet “we are independent” but that won’t wash anymore. The people know their lust for theatre, drama and excessive love for the theatre of AK and will condone anything he does with more coverage because it not only gets them TRPs but AK also happens to be constantly ranting against Modi which suits their political agenda too. Expect more violent events from AK and AAP. It is not going to stop. It will not stop as long as media excessively covers him and if in the unlikely event of media blacking out his violence, expect even greater violence of gigantic proportions. Why? The answer lies here:

That’s the agenda of CPI (ML) which has a great appeal for Naxals and Maoists. Their agenda is to overthrow the State by violence. Many AAP members and supporters subscribe to this agenda. This is no fairy tale. Extreme events of violence invariably start the way AAP has progressed and that too with the support of many educated celebrities. These celebrities are bimbos who cannot think deeply. It is not that they have to support Modi or Congress but I have to consider them dunderheads if they think AAP is their answer to anything except destruction. In the pic above there is a mention of one Sandeep Pandey. In case you don’t know, he is the one who lobbied for AK’s Magsaysay award and that should tell you all about the connections of AAP and violent anti-India Naxals.

Arvind Kejriwal is no ignoramus. He is a psycho who is progressing exactly as arranged. He is hurtling towards his finale as I mentioned in “Reincarnation of AK”. There will be more violence. There were bomb blasts at Modi’s Patna rally in October 2013. There was a Naxal attack in Chattisgarh a few days back killing some 18 CRPF jawans. Expect more. If at all there is an incident which kills. There have been loud protests in the media over his latest threats to media but it is also being used by the likes of Rajdeep and Barkha to grandly claim they are being targeted by all parties so they are “independent”. Don’t buy that BS. There are still folks in the media who will back AK to the hilt and possibly even the death of Modi in some violent act. The Congress too has mildly protested the latest outrage by AK but secretly they would be rejoicing AK is creating daily ruckus to divert from real issues in this election. For once, I hope to be wrong in sounding this caution: Violence Ahead!

  2. @ravinar,
    Excellent as usual.
But I am appalled that bjp is unable to see this nor seems to have a cohesive plan to manage this.
Whilst Modi has ( rightly ) ignored AK/AAP, the spokespersons that appear on media are not half as forceful, convincing in calling the bluff of both media and aap.

    2. I find @madhukishwar being a journo does a better job of Spokie than Bjp off spokies.Worst thing is why EC remaining silent against AK.When they think serving 5rs tea violates MCC, then what abt reckless utterences from AK and YY? What abt the voilent protests by the goons in AAP uniform. Nobody from BJP takes note of such grave mistakes and finally , it will be the BJP which will be blamed later.

    3. We supporters of Bjp seem to be more competent , concerned than the jokers of the bumbling jokers party. Independent columnists like madhu, ravinar, Arun shourie etc seem to be doing more for bjp than the likes of chandan mitra , jawadekar etc.

    4. The biggest bane of BJP is the Delhi coterie all of whom want to sabotage Modi's ascent and get the chair themselves. Some of them are no different from the Cong party. We the supporters made our voice heard loud due to which NaMo is the PM nominee. Once again excellent blog.. Scary to think of the repercussions and also know the anarchists would stop at nothing. For the sake of our nation hope you are wrong this time...

  5. All these days Media's backing to AK and AAP was just a doubt. With the above Rajdeep video, it is now proved beyond doubt that Media has created this monster called AK and AAP to counter NaMo and take away the focus from Congress/UPA corruption. During Anna agitation Digvijay Singh tells AK to form a political party is also a part of this strategy. This is occupy media and mind space strategy. Now some of the surveys have started showing improvement of Congress vote share. A congress come back. There is a method in Madness. Thank god there is social media in existence to bring the truth out. Thanks Ravinar for this wonderful post as always.

What right do Americans have in calling modi akin to Hitler when their Obama itself has been responsible for destroying multiple economies and deaths of over 200000 in Arab spring and Syrian civil war ( thru covert and overt support )????

There is something seriously amiss in Indian media . gone completely bonkers

  12. events over last month lend credence to what we have always suspected. There is a sinister design and plan underway. This is to create chaos in the country and create conditions ripe for urban insurrection by Naxalites cadres. The Naxal sleeper cells in the garb of supporters of AAP who claim to be messiah sent to clean the system have been unleashed in the first phase of this plan. As the time passes trend will be clearly visible where its leaders would violate various laws saying all these are only to protect the corrupt. Police action would follow and passions among the cadres would be inflamed. They would resort to rioting which will be further fuelled by armed cadres making hit and run forays. Their hard core urban supporters would shelter the armed cadres and provide necessary logistics. Spiral of violence would go out of control. Armed forces would be infiltrated by their volunteers who would encourage rebellion. With the institutions cracking up and governance becoming difficult the top leadership would move in to declare the govt and constitution illegitimate and install a govt probably in exile in the red corridor with the help of factions of armed forces loyal to them. They will keep chipping at margins and declaring cities and villages as liberated areas. With central govt becoming very weak with time and active help of foreign govts like China who would recognise renegade govt in exile the stage will be set for a civil war and possible Balkanisation of the country. This is a possible scenario unfolding. So be afraid very afraid.

  13. Here is my 2 cents. Anyone in this country has a right to do dharna, and thats what AK & co did. Why did the TRP hungry media stationed their OB van and provided coverage? You have a point if AK had provided "live feed" like how BJP is doing these days.

Please understand - AK is doing things that will give his party some prominence in shortest possible time and help in winning a handful of seats in LS. It is up to Media to show him or not show him. It is up to public to watch him or not watch him (apparently, all his programmes had a ute TRP).

Neither AK nor AAP is responsible for the bomb blast or naxal attack (naxals have a history from 1960s). Though I have been blocked by Media Crooks in Twitter, I do read these columns regularly and I know that ravinar is more or less right while condemning media with facts. I think Ravinar is wrong when it comes to assessing AK, just because of his love for Modi.

And ak and aap antics too are in their own way adding to the confusion and chaos. And in that sense they are connected . there are also known naxal sympathisers in aap and leftists in media that help and bail out one another .
The methods adopted by ak and aap are despicable. And is bailing out congress.

    3. I think you didn't get it. All through the article, Ravinarji was pointing out the fatal attraction the media has for violence, anarchy and bloodshed, by liberally quoting from Martin Scorcese/ Oliver Stone and their movies. Being a psychotic, Sir Sir Kejriwalji has all the while encouraged and catered to the baser instincts of the media. I did not see anything wrong in the article, and Ravinar's "love" as you put it, for Modi has nothing to do with the relevant points made.

  15. Ravinar,

Very well written, woven with the video clippings to drive home the points!

I keep hoping against hope that Modi has a solution up his sleeve, for tackling the AAP menace. But if he doesn't play his card at the right time, it may be too late. I feel the time is running out, and he needs to pay some attention to this matter even though he has many challenges to face from within the party. By the way, just take a look at the amount of coverage given by media to show the dissent within BJP over ticket distribution, while the chaos in Congress does not get any airtime. Isn't that proof enough who has a hold on media?

Any sane person will think that very soon, the real aam junta will see thru the veil of AAP and what it stands for. But after reading your blog, I see there will always be some rogue elements in the society wanting to derive cheap thrills out of anarchy, to get rid of the boredom in their daily life! These are the AAPtards; you can never make them see reality.

I expected that the media channels will boycott AK, after direct threat from him. But your blog brings out the reality: That the media, in its bid to stop Modi, will be party to any dirty tricks.

Now my eyes are on Modi. Is he playing too safe? Does he want to appear as a leader all out to please everyone? Why is he not taking some tough decisions to make sure BJP shows a united face to the public? He seems to be losing grip over the party matters at this critical juncture and that is not a good sign for us, the supporters...We would like to see a clear mandate for him, and not a khichdi situation where BJP has to look for alliances who can dictate the selection of next PM!

Time for Modi to take some strong actions. I'm sure his supporters will love it. He need not worry too much about hostile media; he has reached this stage in the face of it all!

What you expect of Modi at this pint in time? What tough action he can take w/o being in power? I think we need to be realistic here with Narendra Bhai. He is at a very sensitive time of his life and so does our nation. If you expected that Media will boycott Arvind you are probably unaware of many things. Many of us know since long that it is a game of "Stop Modi" which is actively played by Congress, Dynasty & Assciates.. Media is a very integral part of the game. We only pray that Modi comes with strong mendate and ultimately guides our Nation out of this dangerous times to real peace & prosperity.

We have the Congress that has unleashed Aap Naxals with direct or indirect additional funding from Ford Foundation. The last link is of course provided by our media mafia that too to fulfil one of their long pending wish to finish Modi. And to add comic relief in this dangerous venture, is some of the air-headed celebrities whose vision is blank beyond their powdered nose. 20. Congress’ bigamous ‘Magsaysay’ produce, i.e., AAP is partly the creation of over-enthusiastic media and also the desperation of the middle-class. In fact, before Mr Modi coming to national scene, I could hardly find any opposition from BJP against the scams perpetrated during Sonia Gandhi’s regime all these years. It’s only when Mr Modi came on, we heard real opposition voices. Just imagine, if BJP had played its part well as an opposition party during the last 10 years of Sonia Gandhi’s rule, it should now have been in a hands-down win situation of 2/3rds majority. Pity, though late but not never with them. Even now, there are forces within BJP who are against Mr Modi coming to Centre which is only a good sign for Congress and its bigamous produce AAP.

Otherwise it shouldn’t take any effort to know that AAP is just doing this posturing strictly under surveillance and supervision from its parent body.

    1. Yes, it does look like the ruling mafia have something on LK Advani & Co. They always made some general noises about corruption but never went into specifics with facts and figures on the floor of the parliament. Only Jaitley and a few others seem to have tried while writing in Niti Central or Pioneer columns. This leads me to suspect that Sonia has some pretty damaging stuff on Advani or some other senior leader. When it came to the crunch BJP always co-operated in passing the pet laws framed by the anti-nationals in the NAC. And as for highlighting corruption by the dynasty, even referring to them by name: it was strictly no-no.

  21. The stop Modi campaign by the Congress and its lackeys like AAP and some MSM will get more desperate. An attempt on Modi's life is possible. Madhu Kishwar had mentioned some time ago about this from sources in the intelligence community. All manner of forces do not want Modi, be it foreign or Indian. They prefer a weak directionless India to manipulate and loot. Modi's victory is imperative for India. Within the BJP too there are jealous and ambitious saboteurs. India has suffered heavily due to traitors in the past. Modi is the only hope in this hopeless and gloomy scenario.

  24. please share the link of Rajat Sharma - aaj ka kabhar..

AAP is a illegitimate child of group sex between Indian Today & NDTV and to some extend some major support by CNN IBN, HT, TOI .

Whether its in a movie or real world, the Khazz Aadmis never acknowledge their child, see they will literally kill their own child.

AAP anway can cut the congress or communist votes. BJP shouldn't focus, they should consolidate in UP, Bihar, MP , Rajasthan and Gujarat. They should work more and harvest as much as possible from TN, AP, Karnataka, Orissa and WB.

    1. Very well written and 100 % true that if Modiji comes to power AAPterds will go mad and will try to create all kind of disturbance and violence to shake the peace of the Country . In the past few days we have very well seen how chaos was created at Mumbai CST and open threat given to Media persons . But , the million dollar question is that despite of seeing all things ,why some people have still kept their eyes close and can`t analyse or realize the intentions of Arvind Kejriwal and Party.

  28. Spot on Ravi, Kejriwal is no less than a street goon. There was serious deficiencies in upbringing of child Kejriwal. As typical with most of the Hariyanvi families where boys can get with murder. His parents did not discipline him during his growing years. He is a complete spoilt brat and needs a good spanking to bring him to senses. He will get it sooner or later. He just can not be allowed to go and destroy India, thinking it was just a toy.

  30. I think it would be appropriate to call AAP , the urban chapter of Maoists. The soon to be disbanded NAC will have all its unemployed members seeking plumb posts in AAP. The free run given to Maoists is the consequence of the undermining of security at the behest of NAC.As the climate in the nation snowballs into a NaMo tsunami there will enough reasons for Mani SHankar iyer to get very very angry. So also D. Raja will be very angry. So like KhanChris let us take 'everybody'on board. Let us get the biggest market to seek our votebanks.

  32. Dear Ravinar,

Huge, huge fan. It might not be an overstatement to say that if indeed BJP / NDA do well in these elections, your contribution to it will be immense. My conversation opener when I meet people is, "Do you read Mediacrooks?". I then proceed to tell them, "If you have not, then your quest for truth in politics is incomplete."

Having decided on developing the English novel reading habit, albeit late, I was adviced by my friends to get started with James Hadley Chase and then move on to Alistair Maclean. The first Chase novel I read was "Just Another Sucker" before I moved on to Maclean whose novel I first read was "Fear Is The Key". While my memory fails (not as sharp as yours, I'm afraid) to recollect the plots of these two novels, the titles are deeply etched in my memory.

These two titles best exemplify the Congress' approach towards the electorate. They think that voters are suckers and that fear is the best way to manipulate them. Congress' proxies such as Yogendra Yadav with his "Aag lag jaayegi" comment are devising new ways in which Congress hopes to prey on some of the gullible electorate. Having achieved nothing over 10 / 60 years, Congress hopes that polarization will save it.

I see these attempts as indications of a party in its death throes and the desperation it spawns. Congress is today like the cockroach whose limbs flail desperately when sprayed with the Baygon of people's ire.

  33. Bjp walks into another media trap. Has given another 40 days of free favorable publicity to AK , aap candidate from Varanasi. Ak is a mad bull. Will stoop to pathetic depths to throw muck and create problems for NM. Media will promote even his fart as being of some value. In a pig fight , one gets mudied and the pig enjoys it more.
Narendra Modi should have stuck with Gujarat to avoid needless mudslinging and focus better on campaign.

  34. "Violence Ahead" is certainly a timely warning. AAP is desperate and by now it is more than well established that AK acts as per the wishes of the Congi top brass. But, they have not been that smart as I expected them to be. They have made fool of themselves in their fast-track mode over zealous theatrics believing that it will result in quick nationwide impact. Many among the admirers of AAP are not taking them seriously anymore as a responsible reliable political outfit. These bunch of liars and commies, actually set out on anti-national agenda are getting exposed more and more as weeks passes by.

Ravinar is spot on that AAP will try themselves to be the forerunners of violence and communal riots in the future, surpassing other regional parties like SP, BSP etc in the grand design of Madam Sonia's Congress. Needless to say, Modi, BJP, RSS and even Ravinar perhaps [instigator because of his writing] will be accused by MSM morons as the team behind the riots as usual.

Tired of 2002 riots bashing and having egg on their face after SIT report, MSM tried to reinvent their tirade against BJP by linking it with the Muzaffarnagar riots vociferously. Some BJP MLAs were said to be involved as part of a conspiracy etc. But no BJP MLA is as such involved as per the SIT report. However, around 10 prominent Muslim Leaders from SP, BSP and Congress are chargesheeted in the SIT report : http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/Muzaffarnagar-riots-10-Muslim-leaders-charged-by-SIT/articleshow/31656635.cms

AAP will certainly try its best to feed new avenues [esp. the violent stuff] to Congress and MSM to accuse BJP in the future. Lets wait and watch.

  35. I am taking the luxury of reading the blogpost on 16 th and then reading all the comments till now and then making a comment myself.
Mr. Ravinar, Have you experienced emergency in 1975 ? I was born in the month of june 75 sonot possible for me to have that experience. But I have read a lot about it and elections in 77. The situation is getting similar to that. A weak central govt in collusion with likes of AAP & AK will only add fuel to the fire. All this to stop Modi as they are feeling insecure about the skeletons in their cupboards. But what is intriguing is that BJP leadership in Delhi is not countering them effectively. What's more, BJP is losing the advantage by faulty ticket distribution, to wrong people at wrong places. Can't understand the logic behind it.
But, there is a silver lining too. Even during mighty Indira's rule in 75-77, people defeated congress in entire north India, that too with low level of literacy, absence of communication tools, media, etc. Now the people have become more knowledgeable, they are active on social media. We must bieve in collective conscious of Indian electorate in choosing popular govt irrespective of sinister designs of so called "foreign hand".
Most importantly, there are two unadulterated institutions in the country, the Supreme Court and the Military on which we can rely on in case of any attempt to thwart the popular mandate or opinion in the country. If AAP or their likes attempt to any anarchist situation, I think military establishment is itching to teach such '' deshdrohis'' an unforgettable lesson. Even that might be the reason behind their sudden withdrawl of street dharanas before 26 Jan. So we must keep faith in our people, our SC and our military.
The only worry is self destructing act of BJP leaders to deny themselves a well deserved power. Also any attack on Congress leadership, or AAP will be squarely blamed on BJP or Modi. So difficult and dangerous times ahead. Keep a strict vigil. Dont let any anti social elements to rule us. Vote in large numbers without any fear or favour from parties. Brinh others also to voting booth. May God be with us.

  36. 'Naxal attacks have been there for long, agreed.. But now that they have found a political party that openly embraces their ideology of violence.. that does take a different turn.'- CPIM(L) contests different local body elections in many parts of country and it is built and run on Naxal ideology(!!!). But for the first time it is appearing on a national platform.
