There
is something that ails and characterises many of the MSM operators for the last
five years. This started with the Congress losing elections in MP, Rajasthan
and some other states in December 2013. The writing was on the wall for LS2014
too. The ailment is known as “Chronic
stress disorder”. This chronic stress stems from the fact of their repeated
schemes, plots and campaigns failing to dent the Modi-juggernaut where
elections are concerned. Each time they try to portray their darling Pappu as “resurrected” and “rejuvenated” and “matured”
– it all comes crumbling down at another day at the voting machines. The last
was Tripura and the fear of losing
Karnataka is all too palpable. One of their star campaigners and a key
darling in their corrupt life is none other than Lalu Prasad Yadav.
There
are not many crimes of Lalu that you cannot write about. From the Fodder scam
that ran for decades to turning Bihar into a “Jungle Raj” are some of his
greatest achievements. If turning politics into crass, violent practice then
LPY would get a lion’s share of the credit. The reign of terror LPY unleashed
in Bihar would never be told in full, except in titbits here and there.
Kidnappings, murders, summary loot of shops and any other crime imaginable. As
the Railway Minister under the Congress-UPA he fudged and manipulated books to
show fake profits under Railways. This is a claim also made by his successor. The exit of such a politician from the
political scene should be celebrated by a whole country. Not in India!
Sickular footsies and many in the media for whom Lalu is a darling are mourning
their loss. The worst of the lost is usually found in a montage like this, each
a grand foot-licker of Lalu:
These
media goons had embraced Lalu not just as a corrupt man but have now gone much
beyond singing and mourning for him even after he has been convicted multiple
times. Where does such desperate love for a criminal come from? Lalu was
convicted yet again, I believe for the fourth time, and received two sentences of 7 years each to run
consecutively. Very quickly he falls ill, is hospitalised and then later
despatched to AIIMS in Delhi by train. Here,
the police escorting him (if any at all) are equally guilty. A convicted
man being transported is still under custody of the warden/police and should
not be allowed to talk to media or give grand interviews. But the cops allow
the scumbags of India Today,
predominantly Congi bootlickers and anti-Modi campaigners, to interview Lalu on
the train and lets him spew more nonsense about government, Constitution and
all such crap as if he believed in any of it:
The
man has all the energy to spew venom even as he claims to be ill, which I am
sure he doesn’t appear to be. What remains to be seen is how long he will be a
guest at AIIMS. At the Ranchi hospital, the nurses were gleefully taking
selfies with this guy and we will find out if AIIMS becomes his permanent home.
Since the first time he was sentenced to jail, Lalu has spent only a few months
and then has been on bail for appeals to higher courts. Following the latest
sentencing of two terms of 7 years to run consecutively; meaning a 14-year
stretch, the one to call it a “Human
rights violation” was none other than a Congi – Abhishek Singhvi. He, along with another, writes some nonsense
about the sentencing being politically motivated and all that in TOI. Here’s an
excerpt from his article:
First
don’t miss the description of a convicted criminal, convicted multiple times,
as being nothing more than “controversial”
figure. Very clever indeed! In one stroke Singhvi has reduced a
multiple-convicted-criminal to nothing more than a controversial figure. That’s
how Sickulars play the game. Modi, with not even an FIR against him, was
painted a murderer for over 12 years but
a convicted criminal is merely a controversial figure. If you said some
Bollywood actress was a controversial figure that would make some sense if they
aren’t criminal. This is how you smartly wipe out crimes of Sickulars because
they are so important in your battle against Modi and BJP. We will come to
Singhvi’s nonsense a bit later, his arguments being bogus, but trust the C5M to
jump and dance gleefully at the prospect of her darling Lalu being wronged by
the courts. It is hard not to laugh:
Firstly,
she quotes the Singhvi article and asks a predictably dumb question on whether
Lalu is being punished for the fodder scam or for his rallies against
ModiSarkar. Oh, by the way – don’t miss the fact that she glories the criminal
by calling it “massive” rallies. Size matters! Anyway, what the moron
doesn’t get is that the argument of Lalu doing rallies against Modi came up
only when his lawyers prayed for a light
sentence because he was not in good health. The prosecution simply said that
Lalu was busy carrying out many rallies and commenting on politics and govt
24X7 and does not show any signs of poor health and therefore a strong jail
term wouldn’t be out of place. The judge, for whatever reasons, slapped him
with two terms totalling 14 years. Another Lutyens Sickular quickly jumps in
and claims there is a motive driving the judge:
By
attributing motives to the judge in an open manner, Indira Jaising is clearly in contempt of court. One can dissect and
argue the merits or demerits of a judgement (as Singhvi has done) but to
attribute motives to a judge is clearly overstepping. And these Lutyens
durbaris get away with it because nobody takes them to court and nor do the
courts read everything that is written. Another day, one judge in KartiPC case
commented on tweets by S. Gurumurthy casting aspersions on judiciary which
related to the Marans being acquitted in some case. The judges made their
displeasure known but clearly, they are overlooking such clear cases of
contempt.
Coming
back to Singhvi’s article, he argues that the judge was not following
established practice and norms set by SC in ordering a “consecutive” jail term for Lalu. This, even when Singhvi agrees
that this is up to the discretion of the judge. Now, under IPC, if a criminal
is a repeat offender then a longer period of jail is prescribed. Whether it is
true for this case or not, Lalu is not merely a scamster, he defrauded the
public at large and there is no clue where all the money has gone. The fines
imposed on him are negligible. Not just Lalu, his whole family is into mega
scams and all of them are under scanner for some case or the other.
Singhvi
quotes the American system which follows a “Charge stack” as he claims. There is a good reason for it. For example,
a criminal who starts with a kidnap
but later murders his victim has
committed two offences. First the
offence of kidnapping and then the murder. In addition, if he has used illegal weapons, then that is one more
charge he can be prosecuted for. So, in all, the criminal can be sentenced for
3 crimes with 3 prison terms running consecutively. What Singhvi does not tell
you in his article is that many times the US prosecutors let the criminal off
on minor offences to seek a confession on the major crime with an assurance of
lesser jail sentence or an escape from the death penalty. Besides, the US judiciary is much faster once a case
actually gets to trial. The fodder scam has taken nearly 3 decades to
prosecute Lalu and he has enjoyed more than his share of freedom despite his
massive crimes.
Still,
Lalu and his lawyers claim he is “innocent” and will appeal the lower court
judgement. So, what’s the problem with the media morons? Let him appeal and
prove his innocence and he can get away with no punishment at all. Any
civilised person with reasonable common sense would like to see criminals like
Lalu out of politics and safely behind bars but not so our Sickulars. In the
end, their only way to win elections and
power seem to be how low a criminal can be and how much can be earned by
dancing for him. Those dancing for Lalu are obviously his chickens who may have
been fed chicken-feed, if not fodder, for a long time. The media remains the
first line of defence for the corrupt, always.
