The Gandhi Overkill

Propaganda is the biggest weapon of Commies and Goebbels is their God. The most useless ministry of I&B was created by Commie Nehru for that very purpose – propaganda. It’s a form of political marketing for bad products. The biggest marketing programme in the world is not from P&G or Unilever or any other business giant. The biggest marketing programme in the world is from “Jesus Marketing Company”. It is hard to find authentic figures for the Missionary spend on Jesus-sales but one site estimates it at $145 billion. Similarly, for over 70 years, MK Gandhi has been the biggest marketing show in India and in some parts of the world. From glorifying MK Gandhi to “Mahatma” to “Father of the nation” much has been spent to promote his image as next only to God.

Much has been written about MKG, his good deeds and bad deeds. But when someone starts going overboard with fake Gandhigiri and Gandhi-Bhakti it is time for another reminder that MKG was excessively anti-Hindu and often naïve in his politics. He neither understood Islam nor understood Hinduism. Many hold him guilty for the Partition. I don’t have a problem with Partition but I do find the Gandhi-Nehru decision to have not exchanged Hindu-Muslim populations in full a serious crime against India. The consequences of this foolishness are being seen on a daily basis in India. This year is MKG’s 150th birth anniversary. It is natural for the GOI, States and many people to celebrate it. But I fear an overkill. And it starts with the not so truthful Gandhigiri of PM Modi and his excessive Gandhi-Bhakti. None of it seems real and appears more of theatre, histrionics and political.

Modi didn’t have so much public love for Gandhi while he was in Gujarat. It all started after he became PM. The only Gandhi-act he did in Gujarat was to ban a book by Joseph Lelyveld which alluded to Gandhi being Gay. In Gujarat, it was “Sardar-Sardar” all the way because Gujaratis themselves don’t revere MKG all that much. The theatre and drama of Modi started after he became PM, especially if you notice his “bowing techniques”. In 2014 he bowed and did a full Namaskar at the footsteps of Parliament. 2019 he bowed to the Constitution. And whenever he gets the opportunity he bows to statutes of Gandhi as much he does his famous back-bending Yoga exercise, in reverse. What do the Gujjus really think of MKG? This clip from Telegraph of December 2017 (during Assembly elections) should provide a sample (in purple boxes):
Asked why Gandhi was more revered outside Gujarat, the Congress supporter says “Only illiterate people support Gandhi. No educated person who knows India’s history would support him. His methods and agenda were not acceptable”. Another guy says “Gandhi helped Pakistan; Modi works for India”. Such is the sentiment for MKG in Hindu-dominant Gujarat. Far from reverence, there is almost a contempt for him. The Congi is right. The political-rich, the Lutyens elites and assorted fraudsters use “Gandhi” to fool the poor and the illiterate. Even the educated fall into the trap. The other thing apart from MKG, the very name “Gandhi” has been a curse on this country for other reasons.

In 2019, after he became PM for a second term, Modi went one step further in his Gandhi-Bhakti. After the swearing-in he started his first day at office with a Cabinet meeting. Before starting work, he did a pooja of Gandhi with rose petals at the PMO and had the media beam it Live across the world. Of course, Sardar had to be there too else it would betray his own heart:
Some days ago, I had summarized in some tweets what Gujjus really think of Gandhi and that he stands nowhere in their hearts when compared to Sardar. Whether it’s Congress or BJP, every political party knows that over-glorifying MKG is not politically profitable in the State. The Hindu-dominant population of Gujarat consider Gandhi a “traitor” of Hindus and in private conversations you will even hear the choicest abuses hurled on him. There are no big monuments to Gandhi in Gujarat, not even institutions, most are dedicated to Sardar:

Gandhi’s ideas of religious equality or uniformity were equally misinformed. Some of his statements were seriously absurd and he got away with such garbage only because of lack of media-speed and because he became an over-whelming leader in the freedom struggle. Would any Hindu – forget Hindu, would any sane person of reason tolerate the kind of nonsense MKG peddled? He wanted Hindus to die willingly if Muslims wanted to kill them. This series of tweets by Rivaldo, a part-time stand-up, is sufficient to explain the phenomenal absurdity of MKG:
Hindus must die willingly. The Sikhs killed at Jallianwala didn’t die brave men. MKG wanted the Sikhs who survived to offer themselves to murder. If some political leader makes such statements today, he would be trashed to pieces and dumped in a garbage can and there would be universal outrage.

Gandhi was a Commie, Autocratic and Anti-Hindu

None of Gandhi’s grand ideas are follow-able or implementable. Modi thumps his chest over Surgical Strikes and Balakot. Had he truly followed Gandhi; India wouldn’t have had an Army because Gandhi didn’t want one. Worse, if Modi was a true Bhakt of Gandhi, he would have sent some 100 more Jawans to be slaughtered by the Paki terrorists. That is what Gandhi would have wanted and applauded – to willingly die and sacrifice yourself to those who want to kill you and establish “Jannat” on earth.  And all MKG ideas and policies were Communist in nature. It’s not just me, international researchers see Gandhi for the Commie he was. This is from a previous post of mine “Getting Past Gandhi”:
A university in Ghana knocked off Gandhi statue over his reported racist attitude towards Africans. The report says: “In his early writings he referred to black South Africans as "kaffirs" - a highly offensive racist slur. He also said that Indians were "infinitely superior" to black people”. Kaffir is pretty much what Muslims refer to Hindus and non-believers as. MKG used the same terms. What would you call me if today I said “Indians are superior to Blacks”? Imagine the abuses by MKG that were condoned. MKG was stubborn, tantrum-throwing and autocratic. All the epithets one would use today for Arvind Kejriwal. He didn’t respect the verdict of Congressmen electing Sardar Patel the Head of party and thereby the PM. He chose Nehru over a democratic election. There wasn’t one bone of democracy in Gandhi’s body:

The Deception of Non-Violence

Gandhi is called a “Mahatma” and an apostle of non-violence. Nothing could be more deceptive. Hypothetically, let’s ask some questions – What if something un-natural happened to Sonia Gandhi or Asad Owaisi or Narendra Modi? What if they fell to some terrorist plot? Damn right! You can be assured there would be riot and violence all over the country targeted at some community or some group that is suspected to be responsible. Much similar to the way Brahmins were targeted on Gandhi’s assassination. Gandhi’s death brought violence and the killing of Brahmins is proof. The British knew damn well that if something happened to the “Fakir” (As Modi too likes to call himself) the entire country would have been engulfed in flames and the British would be slaughtered like pigs if something had happened to Gandhi. Thus, the fakery of non-violence is merely a shield that hides the potential threat of violence.

It is this cloak that Gandhi wore that helped him peddle his non-violence delusion against brutalities by the British while sending Indians to die in their wars. Gandhi and the British both knew what would have happened if something happened to him. Thus, even while in custody, Gandhi was mostly housed in “luxury jails” like that of Sashikala in the present day. And when free, in his later years, Gandhi lived in the sprawling complex of Sabarmati Ashram. This property would cost nothing less than 1000 crores at current market prices. As his admirer Sarojini Naidu once quipped, it cost the nation a fortune to keep Gandhi in poverty.

Now, let’s come to back to the new-found “Gandhi-Bhakti” by PM Modi. It wasn’t so much when he started out as PM in 2014. It became more pronounced as months went by and, particularly, after then US President Barack Obama’s visit to India. This excerpt from a report summarises why Modi turned into a Gandhi-exploiting PM:
Ashley Tellis is a veteran journo now with the Carnegie Endowment. He accurately explains why Gandhi is politically-profitable for Modi. Sardar is not so well-known across the world but Gandhi is. The more Modi keeps bowing to his statues, the more he expects the world to view his image in the shadow of Gandhi. Thusly, more the awards and more the acceptance. As Modi pointed out to Smita Prakash of ANI in his January 2019 interview, one of his regrets was being unable to win over the Lutyens crowd. Gandhi-Bhakti is a sure way of winning over Sickulars, universal Fiberals and everything that stands for deception. Gandhi’s 150th anniversary will and should be celebrated, being one of the leading freedom fighters and nothing more. All this Mahatma and Father of the nation titles is immature and unworthy of a vast nation for which many have died during the freedom movement. Some of the programmes announced by BJP and ModiSarkar are downright childish in this day of communication-pollution:

Gandhipedia? GANDHIPEDIA? You must be seriously out of your heads if in this day and age a govt is going to spend money and time over this. There is enough material on MK Gandhi and even Sunny Leone on the internet for anyone who wants to know. This is how govt spends money on Commie propaganda. I often call it “PropaGandhi”. I hope the Padyatras and similar mis-adventures are paid for by the BJP and not with public money. Any public money used for Gandhi anniversary must be modest and ModiSarkar would do well to declare their budget for these celebrations. The statement underlined in red in the above pic is stark in its hypocrisy and fraud.

Amit Shah claims Modi has ended “appeasement politics”. Utter LIE and DECEPTION. Every single day ModiSarkar is on and on about Muslims, reforming Madrasas, scholarships only to Muslims, ignoring their violent crimes and there is no appeasement? The first step to end appeasement is to dismantle this fraud called “Minority Ministry”. And “Minority” is a camouflage for “Muslim” and this ministry is mostly manned by a Muslim. Sikhs, Parsis, Jains, Buddhists don’t beg for doles.

In this quest for a “refined image” across the world Modi has fallen victim to bad choices and maybe wrong counsel. He is trying to be someone that he is not and never was. Within the first month of the second term Modi has angered many Hindus with his “Selective Pain” for Muslim victims of some incidents. Many Hindus are angry that the blabbering, rotund Amit Shah appears helpless against Muslim violence right under his nose in Delhi, including destruction of a Durga temple. I am in absolutely no doubt Modi is destroying his chances of being a great PM by foolishly following the failed principles of MKG and Muslim appeasement. In the eyes of MKG only Muslims can be victims. Hindus must die if the Muslims so desired and prove to the world the stupidity of non-violence:
Nehru failed as a PM only partly because he led a luxurious lifestyle and a disconnect. The major reason for his failure was imposing his “Personal Love” for the likes of Stalin, Lenin, Nasser or Mao on this country and being a “Muslim by choice”. This led to failed polices like Panchsheel, NAM, Kashmir, Indus Water Treaty and so on. PM Modi would do well not to impose his “Personal Gandhi-Bhakti” (even if it is politically-profitable for his image in the world) on the country. In a month after return to power again, ModiSarkar has no new ideas, nothing dramatic to offer. Even the Budget hasn’t created too much noise or excitement. The biggest talking point of the Budget being the “Red cloth” used by the FM. The “Wow” effect is GONE. And, therefore, MK Gandhi will be used abundantly to cover up. Excessive Gandhi is nauseating and insulting to Hindus. Keep the celebrations modest and don’t risk an overkill. Gandhi himself wouldn’t have liked such an overkill over his anniversary.

MODI is projected as Sardar reborn but in fact he is a fake, coward escapist. He who escaped family life can never be brave and head strong. He needs to be replaced by YOGI who has shown to world that being a Sadhu he is a HINDU and acts on all acts by Muslims whereas till today MODI never spoke against rape of Hindu children by Muslims .WE want YOGI as PM NOW

    2. hahahahaha ..Modi has done what he wanted, he has become PM and then break the previous record of ABV of not making it to second term in 2004, absolutely making Hindu fool again, which he knows without it he can not become PM for once, all gandhi bhakti he did was to keep eco-system irrelevant against his foolish Hindu supporter(Vote bank),he also smartly created his vote bank among low class Hindus(economy wise/caste wise) who are rather emotional/gullible does not understand politics(true face) much by providing the some perk in DBT, electricity, toilet, gas, house, health insurance (5 lacs) and much of this benefits went to muslims, however they did not vote much for Modi as usual, now he is trying to create his muslim vote bank at a very big cost, not sure he would be able to gain their Vishwas or not in the end, now he think, irrespective of hindu(educated one/upper caste ) vote him,he can make it to Delhi again in 2024 like congress have done for 70 years on the basis of Mn lower class of Hindu votes ...even if he defeats.he has achieved his dream to be the PM of d biggest democracy of world, Bharat in his life time twice n did his best to become statesman whcih again foolish, egoistic Hindu did not let him to be, n he long with his new generated eco -system would claim it might be anti incumbency vote not against Modi himself

  2. Modi has become such a fake - assuming his Ghandhi Bhakti is fake given some of his past actions. He is not appreciating the value of authenticity of a leader. People will lose trust on anything he says. Also it is unlikely that his critics will ever consider him a Ghandhian. He loses trust of the people who like him. He is on a lose-lose mission! And only reason looks to be few foreign awards!

  3. Taken the right way, Modi should feel relieved there is someone like Ravi Narayan who is actually helping him to do some course correction. It is obvious Modi has surrounded himself with third rate intellects. Modi's choice is clear: be a good honest PM worthy of India. Not as a Nehruvian humbug trying to get a Nobel by shafting the majority community of Hindus by excessive minority appeasement.

  5. I hate that Gandhi bhakti. It doesn't bring any solace to think it's fake.
But I wonder what calculated tradeoff modi is making with this move. True that there has to be someone revered to move emotions, to unite. Maybe MKG has a bigger RCS (radar cross section) than the Sardar, in mass appeal (considering muslims). But still I consider it avoidable. It's no way close to muslim appeasement. But it's appeasement to that section (large) of Hindus who are anti-religious-jingoistic. Yes this is another turn off for many Hindus. Politics is complicated, let's accept, swallow and forgive such things for larger interest.
But someone tell Modi that excessive MKG bhakti can turnoff many people.
Also,if someone is so bothered by this, they should make efforts to bring out known/hidden/unpublicised truth to the masses. Who can stop writing about MKG's misdeeds? Godse's court arguments are themselves a treasure, but find no place for debate in public. Why don't people offended by this Modi act make efforts to mass publicise godse's arguments?
If Guj govt banned a book, there are courts to fight it out. Modi himself is humble enough to admit his thoughts/words/actions are not final or immutable. Why should the buck stop at Modi everytime? Lazy fellows.

  6. Dear Ravinar,
Yesterday Modi branded you as critic cum pessimist. He read all your blogs.Yes he is a hypocrite. He shows his artificial teeth to mass but his real teeth are inside. He has to show himself as Gandhian as he knows that India still in trance of Gandhi. No one has dared to expose real face of Gandhi till now.Gandhi was a Christian-Muslim from South Africa and when he arrived in India he faked Hinduism. He never cared for Hindus in his life. His actions are totally Anti Hindu. He befriended Grand Son of Mughal Kotwal Fake names Jawahar Lal Nehru when such a title never existed among Brahmins of Kashmir. Both killed all our revolutionaries. All revolutionary Indian were arrested by British Police after they meet Gandhi or Nehru. It shows that they have get them arrested and killed through British Govt to establish their hegemony. It was they who partitioned India with a mindset of grabbing power of India. If they would have fought brave NO one could have partitioned India. When Kashmir was grabbed by Jinnah army Gandhi was alive. But he never objected or advised Nehru.Gandhi died on 30th January 1948 and the J&K issue happened in October'1947.So all problems in India re made by both Gandhi and Nehru.Time to bury both and start afresh

Hahahaa... I dont have a problem if Modi brands me a "Professional Pessimist"... But I heard the speech and that was in reference to those doubting his "5 trillion dollar" economy target in 2 years. And I dont write on Budgets or tweet too much about it. Although I believe the 5 Trillion dollar economy is more of Chest thumping again... there is no harm holding a big target and challenge. And its not as if Modi has achieved all his economic or social targets. He has failed in most of them and therefore during election campaigns Balakot, Surgical Strikes, My father and mother are being insulted and JaiShriRam occupy centre-stage. People understand what politicians do.

Elections are about choosing the best option among those available. In that context, a Congress or Sickular combine with proven track record of failures is hardly good for India. Apart from that, every achievement of ModiSarkar that I have endorsed are genuine and there is no fakery about it. That doesnt mean Modi is without faults or failures. Now that we have elected a govt of our choice, it also falls upon us to frequently caution and warn it against undesirable actions or non-performance on some fronts and peddling nonsense to fool people. Besides, no support to any party or leader should be unconditional. The BJP has a written manifesto delivered to people, they should stick to that.

  8. People have become trained and accustomed to expect everything trickle down from the top. Including those for Hindu causes.
Just that they elected a majority govt people think they can relax and watch things change, or still, relax and curse Modi.
It doesn't work that way innocent people. Politicians always swing to nation's moods. You create enough mass movements and awareness about RTE and Temple freeing, politicians will sense the urgency.
Earlier, Congi govts would suppress such movements, frame & harrass the people involved, bend excessively to muslims and deliberately incense hindus.
Now we have govt that is nationalistic, bent towards Sanatan/Hindu causes and will act righteously.
But it needs sufficient tail winds and some sense of urgency of priorities from the grounds to take actions.
Venting out on online forums is okay, but it should go beyond that. People gravely affected should educate the masses, organise awareness movements and let the sense of urgency climb the top.
Ram mandir case too will come into govt's court only after it comes out of SC first. There is no bypass route for a lasting solution.

  9. @Hayagiri,

I have seen your frequent comments here. You seem to think only you possess the wisdom to "understand" all the moves that Modi makes or doesnt make and the rest are just "venting" in frustration. What is it that you are doing? You too are VENTING when Modi is criticised for his stupidities.

As for educating masses.... This blog started in 2010 and didnt garner 18 million views without educating people. Politicians will do what they find to be politically profitable once they have the mandate - that is no BIG discovery that you make. Nobody is even venting on Ram Mandir or such emotional issues right now. Modi didnt get to the top by a "Top down" trickle. If that is what you think, you are a poor analyst.

Modi reached the top by mass online public support, and also especially that of BJP karyakartas. He rose to the top owing to Chest-thumping Hindu agenda. His past comments on Islam, Islamic terrorism and the agenda of Islamists are all on Youtube in his speeches.

What is being repeatedly pointed out is his treachery to what beliefs he held and which he was voted on. If you want to behave like a ModiBhakt and defend any and all nonsense of his... then this is NOT THE PLACE.

This blog and writer has supported Modi as much as strongly criticised him when called for. It is not one way and whether masses want to agitate or pressurise govt is your business and you can go and agitate or talk to masses. The online forum is ONLY one of many methods to communicate with the govt of the day. This is an understanding that YOU need to develop. There is no ONE way to approach every problem. So sober down a bit, or I would consider excessive "Bhajan Mandli" members being excused from this forum.

I would suggest you carry YOUR OWN Juvenile Rants somewhere else and sing songs for Modi and do Bhajans for him elsewhere.. NOT HERE. In this space... All rulers seek peace and tranquility for them to rule "peacefully"... till next elections.BJP's strategy is becoming clear.Raise temperatures during final years of rule and during election campaigns, win elections and then go back in to trance and tranquility... to rule "peacefully" .[Moment you talk of article 370 or article 35A or UCC or Ram temple you disturb the "peace" ]
But this cycle of blowing hot and cold can't go on indefinitely.BJP leadership is free to add freedom fighters of its choice to its growing pantheon. But BJP leadership is not free to take Hindus for granted.Very large number of Hindus are becoming aware that they have to stand up and fight for their survival in their only home land called Hindusthan. How do they fight? by installing a pro Hindu govt. What do they do if such govts betray them? Install ones which will be truly pro Hindu.Congress or Commies or other such secular riff raff may be salivating at the prospects of Hindus getting disenchanted with BJP or Modi and voting for Congress or Commies. They are mistaken.Hindu society will produce new sets of leaders who will take care of Hindus and their way of life.

If the Hindus (basically the idiots like us from TN) allow themselves to be splintered then instead of changing the current leadership of BJP (I mean through the election process) we may be faced with the prospect of the Congi+Commie bandicoots and their filthy regional sidekicks capturing power. Probably someone like Yogi Adithyanath might be a good next leader from the Hindu point of view.

  12. Quite simply, Gandhi did not have the answers to all the questions, which is ok. More specifically he did not have the answer to the Muslim question. What is not ok is that he was unwilling to simply accept this and let Hindus find other answers to this question, and instead insisted the only legitimate answer could be remain passive. And to allow yourselves to be killed. People often ask if Gandhi's tactics could have worked against the likes of Hitler or Stalin. We need not have gone that far. It would not and did not work against the M.
