PM
Narendra Modi had offered a deadline of September 30 for those with undeclared
incomes to declare it and get past it with some penalties. He even warned of
consequences for those not declaring black money. His announcement on November
8 is the equivalent of a “Sudden Death”
penalty shoot-out in a Football match. There is no draw. There is one clear
winner. And in this one – Modi, GOI and the ordinary people of India are clear
winners. Black money hoarders have been dealt the biggest blow in free India.
This will likely bring more IT payers and a bigger cashless economy. One of the
targets was terror-money. Predictably, the stone-pelters of Kashmir, the
rioters, the militants went quiet almost instantly. I had to ask this question:
I cannot
help but recall the conversation Shekhar
Gupta (who has been ranting against demonetisation) had with the DLF
chairman. How shameless scumbags of media casually laughed at corruption,
bribery and black money. Here’s the transaction
between the two:
Shekhar Gupta “Can you run a
property business without bribing?” the
DLF chairman replied: ‘In my terminology, what I
call bribing, is in two parts: One, where you give money to somebody to
facilitate quicker disposal. Second, you give money, if somebody asks you, to
do a wrong job. Now in my terminology, bribing is to do a wrong job, which I
have never done in my life”. “Facilitate quicker disposal”. The
DLF chairman got a Padma Bhushan. And corrupt Congis rewarded many corrupt
people with Padma awards. All big
businesses in India are corrupt without exception. May be even many medium
and small sized ones too. For many, hoarding black money is a compulsion
because they have to pay bribes. The bribes and kickbacks mostly went to
political parties and govt officials. Ask the scam-ridden, termite-ridden
Congress party – they are the biggest experts on this.
Any dramatic change is bound to bring a
certain level of trauma.
Demonetisation too has brought hardships to the common man waiting in queues to
exchange notes or draw money from ATMs. There has been a shortage of new
currency. But the people in the Qs were hardly complaining all that much. Most
of the complaints came from the politicians. Suddenly these politicians discovered a new-found love and concern for
the plight of the poor and common man. Imagine, all three of these
poor-lovers held a presser at the same time at 4pm on November 14:
The ones
ranting and raving the most and behaving like fish out of water would obviously
be the ones hoarding the most black-money for political purposes. Kejriwal, Mamata, Mayawati, Congress and the lot. Of these, Arvind Kejriwal was throwing
tantrums and ranting like a little kid whose lollipop was stolen by Modi. He
even implied there will be riots and a law and order problem. Of course, AAP is
known to have extorted a lot of black cash from hospitals, schools, traders and
other business organisations. One of their MLA was caught by IT with 130 crores
of unexplained cash assets:
The AAP
guys did try to incite people standing in Qs at some places. Even Kejriwal went
out to instigate people but was roundly booed and shunted out. The dumbest
question that all politicians from the retarded RahulG to Kejriwal to Mamata
asked was this one:
“Do you see the rich, black money holding
people standing in Qs”?
There
were limits to exchange of currency and withdrawals from ATMs but there was NO
LIMIT to deposits anyone wanted to make into their bank account. This would
naturally be subject to scrutiny and severe penalties and inevitable SHAME. So
why would the corrupt criminals turn up at banks? Were these stupid politicians actually expecting those with thousands
of crores of black money would go to banks in vehicles to deposit the cash?
This foolish argument does not hold any water. Congress claims 86% of currency
notes are in 500-1000 denominations. WHY? This itself is ANTI-POOR.
Failing
with bogus arguments the next thing they resorted to was to abuse Modi
relentlessly. The Opposition claimed Modi had imposed “Emergency”, was behaving like a “dictator” and hate-filled epithets that are remarkable:
It is not
merely wrong as RS Prasad suggests. It
is the last resort of scoundrels who are increasingly losing political battles
and are threatened with the loss of their black money. Stupid Kejriwal even
accused Modi of taking bribes worth 25 crores in 2012 as CM of Gujarat. Mayawati cares? Narc who makes statues of
herself and her elephants and charters jet to bring in her footwear – does she
give a damn about poor? Mamata Banerjee who sells her silly paintings for
crores, has party members involved in Sarada-Narada scams cares for the poor?
And most of all the Congress, which has looted this country for most of its 70
years of Independence and rotted the poor with stupid slogans like “Garibi Hatao” – they care for the poor?
This statement by the moronic RahulG should tell you what dumb leaders Congress
has:
“Modi is taking money from the poor into banks
and it will be given to the rich people
who have black money”
That’s
from a speech he made at Bhiwandi on November 16. This guy has to be
phenomenally retarded to be even making such statements. All he does is
“Nautanki” by going into Qs to disrupt ordinary people and do a photo-op.
Congress does not give a damn about the poor. Neither does Kejriwal – Delhi is
in shambles since he became TwitterCM and even the Delhi HC observed “Delhi is the worst city in India”. The
corrupt are the most hit by demonetisation. And Modi knew his targets clearly
and I am glad he is not budging and stated there is no question of any roll
back. The best part was that in a country as vast as India it was kept a tight
secret and Modi himself made the announcement. And the more these stupid politicians attack Modi personally – the more
his popularity soars among common people. UP will tell – as Modi’s election
armoury has enough to expose these corrupt parties and politicians. Given that
demonetisation has hit the corrupt in the media too, a good number of bogus
stories were also PLANTED. It had to be the money-laundering NDTV and the
corrupt, Modi-hating TOI:
The NDTV
article had nothing to do with foreign media and was written by desi, Christian
Modi-hating Mihir Sharma. TOI gets into bogus stories every time Modi does
something major. This hasn’t stopped since their fake “Rambo” stories. People on SM expose these liars each time they
attempt a fraud.
Here’s
the funny part. The GOI knew the largest amounts of black money being hoarded
was in 500-1000 notes. Apparently, even criminals sometimes don’t seem to learn
lessons nor do corrupt politicians. If one watches Hollywood movies involving
kidnappings – the ransom is always invariably demanded in smaller notes. Here’s
a clip from “Rush Hour” where the
criminal demands a ransom of 50 million dollars (Video 1.26 mins):
The
criminal demands 20 million in 50s, 20 million in 20s and 10 million in 10s. All
in small notes. That’s where our corrupt politicians and corrupt businessmen
screwed up badly. So, will black money go away forever? The answer is a clear
no. But for the present it will bring a large number of people into the tax
bracket and reduce the present black money to garbage. It will also flush out
cockroaches like these who now pay utility bills in hoarded cash:
The fight
against EVIL is a permanent and eternal one. GOI has definitely goofed up in
arranging replacements for old notes and stocking up ATMs but that does not
call for demonetisation to be rolled back or scrapped. Definitely not! India
requires more reforms on political funding and how transactions are made.
Criminals will still find ways to bribe, extort and generate black money in the
long-term future. But with this Sudden Death move, Modi has definitely put an
end to black rain for a good deal of time to come.
Raids on Arvind Kejriwal, Mamata, Laloo, Congress leaders and sold journalists should be conducted even before 30th December. As Abhishek Manu Singhvi's records have been eaten by termites, all these parties and leaders will be one day eaten by termites. He employed only 14 advocates but he spent equivalent of 12500 laptops on them. Were the laptops made of gold. No answer. And record of a famous lawyer is eaten by termites. R we that fool to believe. Modi should also hit on benami properties, antiques, artefacts, shahtoosh shawls and costly vehicles. Let the prices of properties fall. Let there be chaos for sometime. When a disease is not cured by medicines, surgery is required.
ReplyDeleteSuper write up by MC and appropriate comment by you
DeleteI wonder what happened to A.M.Singhvi's case.
DeleteI believe he is fined to the tune of some 67 crores.
DeleteI tell you what happenned to Abhishek Manu Singhvi's case. This crooks like Manu Singhvi and Sibbal has High Court Judges in their pocket and can influence significantly Supreme court judges as well. That's what exactly happened when NJAC was struck down by supreme court. "Present Chief justice of india" crying about pending cases of the courts where this Lawyers can hide behind(tarikh pe tarikh by sunny deol ;)). In order for this sneaky bastards to go to jail, Modi needs to fix Judiciary and judiciary is trying it's level best to keep the mysterious judges appoitment system dirty. demonetization along with other efforts may have helped Modi to push judges in the corner. I wish the next Chief justice of india may be more realistic and not bankrupt in identifying this reality and come up with better judges' appointment system. Manu Singhvi and Sibal are identified crooks and that's the best punishment they can get if they don't come back to power. I can go on how any crook like Yatin Oza(AAPTard now) is represented by Singhvi and Sibal, is clear handshake of corrupt crooks and judges. I hope honest indian democracy's next target is corrupt judiciary.

DeleteOne question that works in my mind always is how is that virtual Municipality president Kejriwal gets so much national coverage while hard working chief ministers of big states like Andhra,Telengana,Bihar etc are nowhere in the picture. Is it the big bribes from Kejri to the media which brings him into limelight everytime? And why does his mentor never criticise him for all his evil activities?
ReplyDeleteMadman is surrounded by some onlookers to see his antics. Kejri is a new species of madness defying description. So media is attracted by his monkey antics and publicise it to enhance TRP.
DeleteYou are right. He has doled out crores from taxpayers money to these anti-national MSM and they are wagging their tail by doing _______ service. But it is also a good thing. we would be agitated at first, but as the drama goes on for too long (it has already gone very long) our "HONOURABLE CHIEF MINISTER OF INDIA" will be completely exposed.
DeleteOur Presstitute media will provide coverage to anybody and everybody who criticize Mr. Modi but will not provide coverage to anybody who agrees with Mr. Modi such as Nitish Kumar in this case.
DeleteWith Demonatization, Modi has brought out the awareness of a cashless economy which is good for curbing black money in the future
ReplyDeleteConmen of Congress party conveniently forget the all time dictator in Saree called Indira Nehru and her pet Sanjay. The World history can not be complete without referring to this slain lady for all her misdeeds and tyranny during emergency days.So comparing Modi to dictators reveal the poor knowledge of Congis.
ReplyDeleteYou have blogged that "GOI has definitely goofed up in arranging replacements for old notes and stocking up ATMs but that does not call for demonetisation to be rolled back or scrapped. Definitely not!". This as per Pappu (Rahul Gandhi) may have been due to Arun Jaitlley, FM. not being in the loop.
ReplyDeleteJaitley is mysterious.
DeleteSuper write up Sir.
ReplyDeleteHahahaha quoting rush hour to tell us about corruption in India!? You must be dreaming. If modi was serious he would have raided all politicos. But he is not. This is just headline hunting.
ReplyDeletehow can modi conduct raids? Do you think the IT/ED/DRI/Excise officials are made of milk.. They will not help PM. SO this type of thunderbolt was needed with little help from sincere RBI. Tell me among his own team, whom he would believe.. May be Pannikar, Suresh Prabhu thats it !!
DeleteMany people are standing in the queues as proxies for the black moneyed people, thus causing harassment, pain and frustration to the honest public. The government has not thought it through properly. Banks are very happy that they are collecting lot of deposits but their joy will be short-lived, the reason being that the proxies will withdraw the new money later to pay it back to the black money people. It would have been a master sroke if only the government had announced amnesty for the black moneyed-people along with the demonetization move. Not only would the government have collected huge tax but all the black money would have come into general circulation.
ReplyDeletethis is what I am being telling every one from day 1... stop proxies which will now stop because of inks. My banker told me on first day itself, deposit all your notes and then withdraw from bank which is 10k a day and 20k in week which will be more helpful. I did it
DeleteYou got to be kidding. How much black money proxies can deposit in banks? Crore? Two crores? The intention is to go after black money hoarders like that AAP guy with 130 Crores. Proxies are not dumb. They extract twenty five thirty percent. And this twenty-thirty percent will put that money in circulation. Which is good for the economy.
DeleteRavinar sir, as always we depend on you to spell out the way things are. The common people in queues are NOT complaining. Do you think we shd have demonetisation every now and then so that black money is flushed out completely?
ReplyDeletemaybe once every 30 yrs. even though black money will not be eliminated, this decision has made keeping black money costly !!
Deletethe empty restaurants, movies, flights are testimony to the problem of cash economy. only 1.2 cr people pay tax. Only 18000 people declared income above 1 crore and 26000 audi and bmw are sold every year. Cities like Ludhiana, Jallandhar, Sirsa, Kolhapur are flush with mercs but no tax collection ! This was all cash economy dear
A very well written article. Someone has said 'I dont know the formula for success but I know one for failure that is trying make everyone happy'. We can never have a policy which makes everyone happy. The present policy of demonetization is one of them. I am amazed to witness how politicians like Rahul Gandhi, Kejriwal etc and media persons display their foolishness and arrogance in public without fear. It is very scary that these gentlemen are at the helm of public affairs and we are depending on them for our wellfare.
ReplyDeletevery true Raghunantha....
DeleteNDTV refers Foreign Media to Christian Modi-hating Mihir Sharma:Sari kapda utar ke dhulai jaisa
ReplyDeleteExcellent move by Narendra Modi and opposition pants are down in Uttar Pradesh & Punjab. The one who cries most is the born loser in this case the politicians. Let us await RBI final figures how much money they got in return, the difference will tell how much difference is lost by politicians.
ReplyDeletePeople are so happy to see the grim faces and there Einstein logic in support of black money ! Best thing that has ever happened to this country !
ReplyDeleteThe cascading effect of demonetization is still to be seen ! this will go to the individual level including children piggy bank, for so long dishonest enjoyed at honest expenses!
I believe much like the political class, our media too is polarized for or against Narendra Modi, more so after he became PM in May 2014. Yet, this is perhaps the biggest step PM Modi has taken to clean-up the Indian economy of black-money and also to weed out massive fake-currency (FICN) mostly printed in Pak-based mints. While this will not eradicate black-money, it will certainly make much of it with large hoarders of BM redundant. But, in his fight against black-money, PM Modi has to take several complimentary steps after this major one. Real-estate sector needs clean-up, funding in elections needs re-look, and giving greater autonomy to PSU Banks to manage their affairs, to prevent funding the Vijay Mallyas (often after a 'persuasive' phone call from Fin Min). With this demonetization, PM Modi has set the ball rolling, and will have to back it up with a series of other measures to make this one look necessary, even if in hindsight.
ReplyDeletehappy that you realized this though very late,
DeleteSuperb..
ReplyDeleteWhile I was clapping loudly when it was announced, now I feel it may backfire on BJP. 'Everybody' is corrupt. Except the tiny % who files returns, everyone deals in black money.
ReplyDeleteNo one wants to report their income. Whether the motor mechanic or the sweet shop or the milk man. And off course BJP core vote of shop owners.
I suspect this may blow up on BJP. That IndiaTV guy Rajat Sharma was seething in anger on Jaitley in AAP ki Adalat. Bet he has lost couple of crores.
This creep Kejrifart is now doing rounds with the traders in Delhi to get their support.
Yes everybody was corrupt....
DeleteSo does that mean action should not be taken....
Instead of going after individuals....it was better to clean up the currency only....
Na rahegi baas na bajegi baasur...
Of course new black money will come into creation...
But this is not the end....New steps will be taken....
Be ready....
Also be ready for total Income tax abolition from financial year 2018...
In preparation for 2019 pollls

Asked my Bank manager for the quantum of Fake notes in our economy, he said close to a whopping 30-35%, he also said that if it crosses 50% the rating would be downgraded & chances of receiving foreign investment would be negligible & loss of faith would be another factor.
ReplyDeleteHe also told me if you want the proof of the same, it is clearly visible in the rates of gold.
International rate is 20000-22000 & Indian rate is 30000-32000, the difference in rate is clearly attributed to the quantum of Fake notes.
OMG.. That means 5-7 lac crore of Fake notes.. that would have been too much and good they are gone.
DeleteGold rates are likely to align with international rates in a couple of years, it will take some time to accept realistic rates for our hoarders & even Modiji is likely to announce some kind of lucrative gold monetization scheme
DeleteIndian journalists are a most rotten lot of the world, they have dared to ask Bill Gates on demonetization which Bill declined to comment. Asking finance questions to Software Developer !!! Can be done only by Indian rotten journalists. Time to push them in to sewerage drains.
ReplyDeleteMany like me expected PM to disclose name of Politicians, Top Business Class peoples who are holding Black Money unfortunately sad to see that only those who had White Money are only standing in Long Queue for getting it more colored to White fearing that present GOI will harass them for possessing 500 and 1000 Rs Notes., as if Politicians and Business Mans are HOLY COW!
ReplyDeleteOn SUN News Tamil Channel Bank Trade Union Leader Rightly said that present GOVT is chasing those who come and deposit money with us what about those who have taken money from us in form of Loan and not yet returned he even went on citing amount of Loan to be recovered is worth 15 lac Crore which is yet to come back to bank and GOVT has NO plan to get it back.
Dont spread misinformation...
DeleteWho told u govt is chasing people who come to deposit money...
Is it not clear to u that people who deposit up to 2 lakhs are spared....
Or are u a little slow in understanding simple things?
Big business will not come in queeues....They will just destroy their cash stash...There is no way that money can now come into the system....Including corrupt govt servants...like customs income tax police officers...
Sir, excellent write up and have hit the nail hard but will it go to the head of the corrupt? Perhaps never as they have become immune to the criticism and once the deadline passes will continue with their hoarding in smaller denominations. So want our PM to start cracking much before the deadline starting with Media
ReplyDeleteplease write a OPEN LETTER to ARNAB GOSWAMI to open INDIA channel only.. there was some talk he would open global news channel like BBC but India is struggling so much it will take another decade to educate people with the mind manipulating/spinning/twisting/fraud games of sikular naxalites & thr news media
ReplyDeleteThese rans are the rants of those who have suddenly lost millions.Parties like Congress,AAP,SP,BSP,TMS and their hirelings in media must have lost billions.Ordinary folks, though inconvenienced a lot are laughing at these guys.
ReplyDeleteNext step for Modi is to go after "Benaami" properties and their holders. Heard that doing so may drastically affect economy. So best thing is to go after one such property at a time just like conducting IT raid.
ReplyDeleteHe already announced & warned about benami properties in Goa speech
DeleteWhen SIT was constituted for foreign money and amnesty scheme was announced for foreign black money...
ReplyDeleteCrooked politicians...corrupt TV anchors...Self styled intellectuals...Economists...Foreign dole dependent activists said 90% of the black money is inside India...
When Black money inside India is tackled by demonetisation...The very same rascals are saying 90% of the black money is lying abroad....
Today even TV anchors hv become expert economists...
Apart from all the positives that came from this move, one other positive came out. The people's confidence in Modi is renewed. it is clear that the man has guts. He will not hesitate to make unpopular and huge decisions to bring the country on the right track. I am glad once again that I voted for him.
ReplyDeleteNobody can beat Indian politicians and some common people they hire. Stampede in many public gatherings and people dying is common. Indians are used to long queues in their daily life. This is the first time they are queuing for the cause of the country like in freedom struggle. If given 2 alternatives all people will chose the lesser one which is beneficial to them. But sacrifice of some kind and time has no alternative. If there are bribe takers there are bribe givers for a easy way. India needs to get out of corruption if it has to become a super power.
ReplyDeleteI hope after recovery, the value of rupee become stronger.
ReplyDelete50yrs back one lack was big money. Today we know the degradation of the value due to BM to the tune of 12lac cores hidden beneath the earth. This sud the biggest international news. Why so much silence in MSM. None How Much powerful may be,be spared. We end their life cycle here. Rotten to the depth, they have lost all sense of righteousness.
Hail Namo.
I hope to see strength of rupee increase in coming future.
Strength of any currency is like flowing water in river. You can stop the flow from going down but you cannot bring it up. Today's salaries are based on today's strength of Rupees. You cannot expect value of Rupee today as it was when one Lakh Rupee carried the weight as it did 50 years ago.
DeleteDear Ravinar,
ReplyDeleteKejri was doing a bhashan in Delhi along with Mumtaz Didi on 17th Nov. One particular comment the Lavish wedding arranged by Reddy brothers. Any un-educated fool would fall prey to this typical kejriw bullshit. Obviously the wedding expense were done using loads of black money But should have asked him"Did Reddy brothers arrange all the wedding expense after 8th Nov midnight for wedding on 15th Nov??? Dosen't the wedding arrangement begins atleast 6 months in advance???
Kejriwal is being funded by foreign intelligence agencies including one who is our sworn enemy...
DeleteMamta is responsible for the mess in Malda fake currency racket...and illegal migration of people of a particular community into West Bengal...
Half of Bengal was lost in 1947...
Now be prepared for the remaining Bengal to become another Kashmir...
Both Mamta and Kejri are worried about their vote bank switching sides to BJP...That is why they are making so much noise....
Of course they also want old 500 rupee notes to be allowed back into the system...so that their cash stash can be laundered and of course some criminal elements can get back to their terror activities....
The people of this country are not fools...They are aware...
So did Modi question those reddi pigs about the source of 500 crore rs. funds ?
Deletewhen the supremely honest PM MODI has to question the shivraj (of vyapam fame in M.P. with 43 murders on record to suppress the reality ) and the vasundhara raje and sushma swaraj ( of lalit modi fame ) , why does he become silent ?
Are 43 murders of VYAPAM SACM witnesses in M.P. not enough to elicit atleast a small response from the great king Modi ??
Is this called RAASLEELA ...while others have CHARACTER DHEELA ?
I am 110% in support of this radical move as it will weed out some black money for sure .
ReplyDeleteBut will Modi answer about the corruption donr by his own party ? Why doesnt he clarify how is linked to Adani ? Urjit Patel the RBI governor worked for Reliance ...and the world knows how honest Ambanis are in their business practices ! Reliance is relationship as the great Dhirubhai Ambani said ... so does Reliance industries not have any illicit relationship with the BJP or RBI governor ? Do Ambani and adani brothers stash their black money is Cash Bundles ? Will the Enforcement Directorate or Income Tax deptt . ever raid an Ambani or Adani ? Will Vijay Mallaya be brought to justice ? Will the ED or IT deptt . grab the throats of Reddi brothers for the 500 crore rs wedding ?
How much BLACK MONEY did MODI spend in 2014 election campaign which was massively expensive ?? What was the source of that black money ? Will that source be questioned ?
Dear Ravinar Sir ,
ReplyDeletePleas reply honestly whether Modi has his stooges in media or not ? Arent Subhash Chandra of Zee media and Rajat Gupta of India TV not Modi stooges ?
How did the brainwash of Arnab Goswami happen after the 2014 elections ? Why did Arnab suddenly become a Right Wing ultra nationalist ?
Was Black Money involved in hiring these media stooges or not ?
A good read as always. Very blunt and in the face.
ReplyDeleteI try to recommend mediacrooks to as many people as possible.
Please keep up the good work.
