Profitable Deaths

It’s almost like 2002 again. Only, there are now more TV channels and ground reporters who scavenge on deaths and incidents. I may have to correct that a bit and say “convenient” deaths and incidents. 2002 happened in a BJP state, now there’s BJP at the Centre.  For every evil, every death, every incident the media conveniently drags in the BJP, particularly Narendra Modi. Of course, each such incident is sprinkled generously with lies and concoctions from fertile minds. It is easy to forget small details of 2002 (Many in college may not even know these details as they only remember India’s only ever communal riots happened in 2002). Sample this excerpt fromm a previous post and think about the vicious lie-mongering:

Facts? In their extraordinary rush to deliver horror and mischief who the hell gives a damn about facts? Not enough? Here’s some more horror from the same Arundhati:

It wasn’t very different at Dadri either. The death of a man at the hands of a lynch-mob was a profitable hunt or so it seemed for the media folks and politicians of the “Sickular”variety. Cause as much damage as you can and once the facts come out you can always claim “That topic is over now” it is for the investigators. Because of this, a vast majority of the country were branded “Intolerant”. Silly academics and unknown writers started returning some awards (most of us never heard of them or they had ever gotten such awards). Nobody returned the money associated with such awards. That’s tough to do. Take a look at some of the other sides to the Dadri story reported here:

A Muslim got killed in Dadri so the media and Sickular politicians went into a massive frenzy tarring Modi and the country for days on end. Muslims agitated and rioted in Malda (Bengal) and there was near black-out of the incidents. In case you forgot, there’s an infamous “Pune Muslim techie killed” – a politically profitable death for MSM. A Hindu minor boy got burned to death by 3 Muslims and there was not even a whisper on TV channels or major newspapers. Only some local newspapers and TV channels in Maharashtra covered it. If you read the link, it is not even a regular newspaper or news-channel because I could not find one.

Then there is the suicide by a student of Hyderabad named Rohit Vemulla. Whether he is Dalit or OBC is under discussion now but that hardly matters. Our media was off the block quickly with #DalitSuicide and such hashtags and again point fingers at Modi and the Centre. Another “profitable” incident for the media and some politicians. Some of them rushed to Hyderabad to scavenge on the opportunity. Our cartoonists are the only ones who recognise this shameful politicking:

The hypocrisy and opportunistic scavenging by media and some politicians can be measured by the fact there were NINE suicides at the Hyderabad Univeristy in the last decade. You never heard such outrage. Perhaps those suicides were “profitable” for political persuasions. For most of those 10 years a united Andhra had Congress at the State and at the Centre. As if all that wasn’t enough, there is a shocking story on how the Pathankot terrorist attack was helped by “insiders” in DailyO. It also recalls how a Customs officer facilitated movement of bombs and weapons for Mumbai 1993 blasts and that he was paid a huge bribe for this.

All these are not stray, unconnected incidents and events. The outrage in the media is systematic and very organised. So much so, that when someone must have made a stray comment reminding Rajdeep Sardesai about the Malda-blackout he lashes out with fake self-righteousness. In reality he does exactly what I have written:

His discomfort and anger at his hypocrisy being pointed out is palpable. After all, this is the same guy who said “Tyranny of distance” as his reason for blacking out Assam riots some years back. The collective hypocrisy of the media has now become more of a laughing stock:

From the fake “Christians under attack” campaign to GharWapasi, Award Wapasi every campaign has been cleverly organised at “critical” times (especially pre-elections in some state or other) to benefit the Sickular parties. And the moronery goes beyond Indian shores to help those wish the most harm to India.

It doesn’t take an Einstein to figure out that these excessive outrages are choreographed to cause damage to India world-wide. Be it the rape of that nun in Bengal or Dadri or other such incidents the measure of coverage, fake-anger and outrage depends purely on which party will suffer the most damage. The trickery, wording and cover-up over “inconvenient” deaths does not escape the attention of people anymore:

For the media and certain politicians there are “inconvenient” deaths and some “Profitable” deaths. And the cartoonists are the ones most recognising it.

Now that 2002 cannot be easily rekindled to do any damage they have developed the art of creating many “Mini-2002s” to deliver in instalments.

  1. Times are difficult for Indians as this very Media gives the picture across the world. Many like me do not want to now watch TV but are dragged to - to check the mischief so that we can understand and keep our head high. Working for living also need working with dignity for which this additional activity has become must. What news media, religion, politics has made general life to? Those who remain ignorant are worse lot as they feel every such act is actually perpetrated by current govt. and there these bigots win out in strategy. So more of our tribe is needed, the word by Raviji, Sumedha Sarvadaman @https://twitter.com/SumedhaSarv , madhu kishwar and like need to be spread far and wide.

    1. Dear Mr Yogesh jain,

I somehow feel, we Nationalists over rate the impact of MSM & under rate the common sense of Common Hindus. Although I Agree that MSM can create a sustained impression on gullible minds who are unaware of its hidden agenda, but I still feel the common man cares two hoots for such agenda as far as he gets a feeling that NAMO's Govt is pro-poor,farmer friendly, un-corrupt & tough against Pakistan. That's where NAMO Govt needs to work towards & it is working baring security lapses such as Pathankot.

    2. Dear Ravinar,

It is beyond doubt a ploy of sikular's/anti-nationals to create ideological uproar against Hindu causes such as beef, Gar wapsi, Temples & Dalit Issues before & during election. It works effectively in creating polarisation amongst Muslims & Hindus are left to fight unwanted ideological fights rather than fighting the election on basis of Development. Chit Bhi Apni Pat Bhi Apni. That's the real Agenda.

    3. You are right Mr. Abhijeet that common man does not care two hoots. But in the process right things done by government are just not highlighted. The business scenario is not very strong and there is no boom in economy - glum feeling is given with impression that this governement is not doing its job. MSM is culprit of sustaining this noir feeling and they are succeeding at it. In Delhi at my co-brother they talk good of Kejriwal policies but bad about odd-even but not at all any good work about Central Govt. Seems Central Govt. has become punching bag for everyone.

    4. Did not Hindus vote for anti Hindus in last six decades most of the times? Did not they vote opportunists and anti nationals in Delhi (AAP member supported plebecite in Kashmir)recently? Did not they defeat Modi & overwhelmingly voted convicted Lalu & Nitish? The danger is not over.

  2. It is evident that media is targeting the NDA government in an extremely unfair and biased manner. MSM supports the lowliest of the scums and ignores the best of the NDA government. This in spite of the government being in POWER. Generally presstitutes are supposed to be licking power. So why this strange behaviour? I have no clue, only some guesses:

    1. Some foreign money bag, inimical to India, pouring money behind the media houses?

    2. Most of these MSM journos are ideologically anti India and want to harm just for the sake of their twisted ideology (this is difficult to believe).

    3. Most of the MSM journos, being brought up in Nehruvian education system, are completely biased with pseudo-secularism and socialism. Unlike many of us (coming up through the same education system) who could correct ourselves, these journos find it difficult to correct themselves because they have already taken public stand on many issues due to the Nehruvian bias. Hence these journos really believe that NDA/rightwing politics is poison and hence they are trying to stall.

    4. All of these?

    1. Good analysis Mr. Sambaram. These MSM Journos have inferiority complex and they wish to get pat on every act of theirs for which they constantly look up to Western media seeking kudos on such acts. Money also comes with such pats in some form of assignments. No wonder Dibang got the assignemnt for filming the infamous Tihar interview of Nirbhaya rapist and paid heavily for it. Such is their soul sold that they are just not nationalist, not humanist but scavengers, vultures and soul sellers.

    2. Well said Mr Sambaran... I want to make some other points as well... I find the present upheavals in media over incidents which are sporadic is a direct demonstration of the well entrenched intelligence networks which have even breached the corridors of power...I won't be surprised if other intelligence agencies apart from the ISI, like the Chinese and the Americans have infiltrated and compromised most of the media houses... Modi Govt's crackdown on the NGOs was a counterattack... In the last government's tenure remember these NGOs and some of their romantic activists were part of the extra constitutional authority called NAC... External powers want to control the govt at the top... But now their hands are tied due to the crackdown they are now trying to make sure that Modi doesn't return to power...

    3. Moreover its not only Congress anymore...A larger sinister design is visible as a shadow... Hope the present government realizes the gravity of the situation and takes effective steps though counterintelligence operations... Bcz this design is directed at breaking the State of India and hence problem is more severe than terrorism ...

I tend to agree that this NDA government has done something (I do not know what) which has disturbed some powerful elements.

Around the area where I stay, lot of unsold empty apartments have suddenly come for sale. I am sure the money bags who were holding these apartments suddenly did not become desperate for cash. It seems that some measure somewhere has suddenly pressed the black money very very hard. If the reason for the squeeze is due to NDA-government's policy, these powerful lobby will surely try to remove this government.

That's my two cents of conspiracy theory.

  3. BJP's media is non existent. Jaitley has made a shambles of IB ministry. Modi has become a wannabe statesman. The presstitutes were once worried about Modi, now they are not. BJP lacks the killer instinct and is always reactive. Dr Swamy can sort these presstitutes out but Modi lacks the guts to give him a chance. He will rue it. Many BJP walas are congress Trojan horses and lutyenites. It is only social media that counters the presstitutes. BJP's spokesmen are pathetic and a sitting target for the presstitutes. Capable tigresses like Smriti, Nirmala, Meenakshi and Kirron are busy elsewhere now.

  4. I saw Smriti's press meet in the TV yesterday. She did a wonderful job of putting things in perspective.I was stupid enough to think that the night's TV debates would take into account the very reasonable point's of view raised by her but I ended up (much deserved in hindsight) disappointed. We are indeed in very dangerous times and left with social media as the only tool to prevent our country from being dismembered along cast / religious lines. Even a most optimistic and fair minded citizen would be reminded of an image of a group of vultures and hyenas feasting on a dead animal's flesh, on witnessing the behaviour of the media and politicians' over this unfortunate incident.

It wants to be accepted as a secular, liberal party while the Lutyenites do not wish to grant it the entry into its exclusive club. 14. Dear Ravinar,

How much ever naming & shaming you do these Paid & Sold Media, they will keep spitting venom on the majority community. But definitely it is not out of their love or affection for those communities, instead they fear sickle to come down their heads by abusing them and we as having been branded as tolerant Hindus meekly submit to all the sinister designs of these Sold MSMs. You cannot change them to be unbiased & impartial and let them be so. Of late I am getting incensed and frustrated to watch the news channels spreading lies. The only way is to create as much awareness as possible through your dissecting posts unmasking the so called Main Stream Media channels. My request would be to launch articles in as many Indian languages as possible with increased readership across the length & breadth of India and it is not a herculean task to achieve either. More sooner the better.

  15. I did not clearly bring out what I wanted to hence leaving room for some assumption. These MSMs don't dare talk anything about the Chrislamic communities out of fear and not out of affection. On the contrary they dare talk anything about the Hindus as we very cultured community don't get into violence like how the other communities get into, hence Hindu bashing by these pseudo secular journalists of the MSMs. Shameful..

  16. Respected Ravinar sir,

As many of your readers opine, there has to be some way to create more awareness by your blog being translated into different languages and reach millions of others. I know, you are already doing a great service and devoting so much time. But since many of us do not have the wherewithal to do that, I am only wondering wht else can be done to increase the readership from non-english speaking Indian population.

  17. The timing of Dadri episode was crucial. It was immediately after Namo's successful events at Silicon Valley. Further did you hear anything from these MSMs about Canning - a Hindu village in WB burnt down in 2013.
Unfortunately BJP clearly lacks proper strategy to counter these and that's going to prove very costly not only for BJP but for the nation.

  18. I think these media companies receive foreign funds by pimping for a certain community & showing the majority in poor light.
Tarek Fatah had earlier clearly mentioned the name of Saudi Arabia as the Supreme perpetrator of Islamic terrorism worldwide, these Saudis have deep pockets & can bribe anyone in India.
I have a gut feeling that these Indian media whores have been sleeping with these foreign agents, compromising our security, sovereignty & democracy.
With each and every false reporting they must be getting paid by a certain amount, in a certain currency & at a certain place out of the country.
Just ask ourselves a simple question " WHY WOULD THEY CARRY ON WITH THIS IDIOCY OF FAKE REPORTING EVEN AFTER GETTING THEMSELVES EXPOSED TIME & AGAIN SINCE LAST 10 YEARS".
Ajit Doval is the smartest NSA ever, can't understand why is he allowing these criminal media houses to carry on their business without exposing them?
We Indians just need to maintain our composure & be calm, they would get themselves buried under their own heap of lies, till such time keep educating the future generations in a right & truthful manner.

It seems everybody is still scratching their head, how these prostitute media crooks are getting away with majority bashing, surprisingly, like Bollywood surviving and prospering on money of the majority and the anti India parties ruling against the interest of majority of people for such a long time. There are two answers for the two situations. First the pressstitutes are threiving on Hindu bashing because their bread and butter comes
from foreign findings and internal powerful enemies of India.
That takes us to next question. How come for sixty years mostly anti Hindus had managed to rule Hindus against their own interest? The answer is complicated. Besides they being implanted by sophisticated anti India forces, the majority of India has become cultist by propaganda and weak mind.

  22. Just the ..... next door. Symbol of honesty. Crusader against corruption. Has plenty of proofs against the ruling government including acting CM. And of course Secular(!). Excellent in playing the 'Victim Card'. Knows well, how to make a 'Death' profitable.

When in power ..protector of corrupts. Extreme Minority(!) appeasement. Spending more money in advertisement than infrastructure, health, education.

No..I am not talking about Arvind Kejriwal. I am talking about Mamata Banerjee. Yes, no one believed me when i used to argue with friends and colleagues that MamataB is nothing but a by-product of Congis & Commies. They all supported MamataB and Now we are all suffering. I have grown up in an environment which was filled with such filthy Commie tricks. And i had a very rare opportunity to watch closely, many prominent Congis, Commies, Police Officers and Judges. So I didn't fail to recognise the so called anti-corruption movement and Kejriwal.

Hope, many can still remember the 'Rizwanur Rahman' case.. It was a profitable death for MamataB and Naxals..they even refused to accept CID,CBI report and court verdict that it was a simple suicide. Media support was full. Candle light vigil by so called Intellectuals and Adarsh Liberals. Everything was there. Everything that Commies used to do during Congi rules.

After Gajendra's death they tried to do but were exposed by SM too fast so retreated. But I commented here..'Boiling The Dead' ..“I have witnessed many such operations in the past and hope will see many in future till they realize that they can no longer peddle lies for more than few seconds in front of SM”.. and I am sure with every passing day their desperation will increase and so attempt to create chaos and destabilise India. Many 'Gajendras', 'Vemula'..many 'HardikPs'..to come.

Note: I will not be surprised if it's found that Vemula was murdered by ASA(Naxals) and SFI..

  23. One interesting trend I noticed is that its not only our media which is a #presstitute but even other countries like US & UK as well. Like the previous post on Robinson Cruso, the media is totally sold out and everything can be manufactured. I was seeing Jayant Sinha's interview on ABP news few days back and he did not even once correct the interviewer on the matters of intolerance, high dollar rate etc but kept giving the facts!!! Its like trying to swim in an empty pool!!! BJP & Modi need to come up with better mechanism to counter these things. Instead of launching 50 new schemes every year, focus on 10 things and do it so well that people will revote for them...

  24. I do not understand, why the media should be called as prostitute.
A prostitute is a woman who has been forced into the profession by pimps and she makes the extreme sacrifice to earn her bread. She does not suck other's blood nor thrives on other's sacrifices, like the pimps.
For me, therefore, the media, save some rare exceptions,is to be branded as PIMP.

Coming to the other aspect, I wonder why the Government keeps mum despite having concrete evidence against these pimps. There are instances galore when innocent people have been prosecuted for making innocuous Facebook posting.Remember the Mumbai young lady questioning the justification for a Mumbai bundh and getting arrested? Then why cannot these media pimps and devious politicians and their pet 'intellectuals' be prosecuted for spreading canard and committing sedition? It is time the Union Home Ministry gives serious thought to these anarchists and show them their rightful place.

  27. What is this Dalit? There is no caste by this name among Hindus. If you say SC/ST also then you should mention the underlying caste. Now a days there are Hindu SCs and Christian SCs and Muslim SCs too. Rohit putup a post on his facebook saying Swamy Viviekananda is a psychopath and wrote almost a paragraph insulting Vivekananda. He said he hates hindus and anything that is saffron color. When asked he said he will even tear off if there is a saffron Saree in his house. He is mentally disturbed. The university administration did not handle properly when there is a manhandling between susheel kumar and rohit and his 4 other friends. When Rohit is banned from Hostel how could he enter the Hostel and hang himself with ASA banner? Susheel kumar says Rohit is not such a coward to commit suicide. This needs thorough investigation. Earlier there were 10 more SC/ST deaths in the same University. Why they were not properly investigated? Again it is said there is a caste feelings in the university among students and teachers. I never saw this caste bias in OU. My friend who studied with me said he joined in OU because there is no caste bias where as in AU there is caste feeling although AU is near his home town. "Especially" merit students without proper means are most vulnerable to to such vicious verbal onslaughts of those who seek caste based dominance.

Outcome is those who face such oppression come out battered and bruised both psychologically and physically.

While there is no law specially required to punish such ongoing wrong doings, the rules rated to the code of discipline need to be strictly implemented .

Friedrich Nietzsche, commenting on the Manusmriti, which Rohith gleefully burn't, apparently said close the bible and open the Manusmrti for in it is a affirmation of life. A wiser man, instead of burning the book would have embodied the beauty of the book while simultaneously rejecting the less agreeable aspects. It would have been an act of balance and moderation. That is exactly what Rohith missed and Carl Sagan didn't. Your article should be the final reading on Rohith's case!
