Rajdeep's Disaster Games

For three days – June 15-17 – the media slept over the Uttarakhand disaster. At best, a couple of channels reported a flood and nothing more. It wasn’t until June 18 that they got down to realising the seriousness of the disaster and their total neglect of the state. They were still busy with the political bout of BJP-JDU break up. A few days later Rahul Kanwal made a token appearance in Uttarakhand. On June 24 Barkha Dutt was reportedly rushing to the state. Her travel partner Nitin Gokhale was already tweeting difficulties they were facing during travel (how unfortunate!). Arnab Goswami was busy trying to get his motley crew to agree that it was a man-made disaster. And Rajdeep Sardesai? Well, as usual Rajdeep was carping and crying about Narendra Modi. One can understand Manish Tiwari being upset with Modi doing some relief work or helping the victims in UK but why would a media moron be so upset? Think about that.

In the meantime the Congress at the Centre suddenly realised Modi was running away with all the laurels for doing a “Rambo act” as ManishT called it. After 10 days they decided maybe the GOI should send some relief trucks with food, blankets and stuff to Uttarakhand. Remember, the disaster started unfolding on June 15, so the Congress waited a whole 10 days to do something. This after Sonia and Manmohan Singh had a luxury aerial tour of the state a week ago. Ah well, the only Emergency the Congress seems to know or like is the kind they would like to impose on the country, the IndiraG types. What else can explain the wait for 10 days to even send relief trucks? One reason being circulated was that the little Baby Gandhi was abroad so they wanted to wait for him. And then SoniaG “flags off” the trucks. Someone rightly asked “What the hell was that? Some mountaineering expedition”? The stupidity of the ceremony seems to be lost on both the Congress and the media.

Flagging apart, the trucks were decked with the Congress party flags. What for? The trucks weren’t a gift from the party. They were surely stuff provided with GOI funds or your money. I guess it’s the old Congress tradition of look what your “mai baap” gave you. They just forgot to label the trucks the “The Rajiv Gandhi Relief Convoy” I suppose. Amidst all this, the only problem Rajdeep Sardesai has with an article that lauded Modi’s efforts in helping Gujarati pilgrims stranded in Uttarakhand a ride back home. For starters, the article appeared in Times Of India which screamed Modi helped 15000 people. Rajdeep’s growing contempt for the Times Group stems from his rivalry with Arnab Goswami’s Times Now so he calls it a “plant”. Aha! Rajdeep should know all about “plants” after all many “alleged” news items and reports on CNN-IBN can also be safely called plants. The disgusting exchange between two Modi-haters can be seen in this tweet below:

Now, the fact of the matter is that Modi sent 4 IAS cadre officers to UK a few days after the disaster and its scale became evident. It is also widely known that a good population of those stranded and in need of relief were Gujarati tourists. It is therefore understandable and even demanded of the Gujarat CM that he act swiftly to help the Gujaratis stranded there. This is something the CMs of each state should have done. If Indians were to be stranded from a stampede in Mecca who would we expect the GOI to save first? Whether Modi helped 15000 or 1500 is even immaterial. The fact that he got down to the place and organised the transportation for stranded Gujaratis is what every other state should have done. The sheer incompetence, negligence and ineptness of the UK CM Vijay Bahuguna demanded that others take action.

The guy in the tweet who asks why Modi saved Gujaratis has a serious problem. There is nothing to suggest he saved only Gujaratis but that’s what the media reported. There were people from other states in the buses that Modi organised. In a relief effort you do better when you’re clear who your target group is. Never mind! But if Modi had saved others the same moron would have then tweeted that Modi ignored Gujaratis and gave priority to others and is therefore selfishly eyeing a national role even in a disaster. Did he save 15000? Who put that number out? Modi never made any claims of any number but it’s the CM of UK and the media who made such a guesstimate. Authentic reports state 6000 returned home consequent to the organised action by Modi as narrated in this DeshGujarat report.

Rediff too carries a detailed report on the relief work undertaken by Modi. The 15000 figure conjured up by TOI neither came from Modi nor from any Gujarat govt official. It hardly matters whether the number was 15000 or not. What does matter is that people were not only saved but the exercise also eased the burden on the inept Uttarakhand govt and also reduced the burden on the Army. The Congress did nothing. And what did Rajdeep do? Nothing either! All that Rajdeep Sardesai managed was to promote collection of funds for UK through his favourite charity Uday Foundation. Not just CNN-IBN, even NDTV was promoting this foundation which had no base or operation in UK. It is a fact that Indian govts never act fast in emergencies. The well-organised act of Modi clearly needs recognition not derision by the likes of Rajdeep who act as brokers for Charities. For all his tall talk Rajdeep couldn’t get past his studio during the relief work.

  1. Had Modi done nothing, it would have been criticised, If Modi did something then it calls for even worst criticism. While the CM of UK did nothing, he is not pulled up at all. In this politically biased and charged atmosphere, the job of Modi is most difficult one. But all this shouting and chest beating proves the point that When an elephant takes a stroll, dogs can only attempt to bark, and a Lion doesnt care what the goat thinks (as remarked by someone on twitter).

That said, I hope a speedy relief will ensure stranded pilgrims to be rescued. Am sure we cannot even fathom the scale of this disaster, and such loss of life, it's a National Calamity without any doubt.

  2. It is said that "he who truly knows, has no occasion to shout". Modi has kept quiet about his visit, what he did. He just went to Uttarkhand to feel the pain and heal the pain in whichever way he could. It is the media that is doing all the shouting at the behest of their political masters. But the family, fearing that the paid media is not doing enough, deployed their slaves in full strength - Diggy, Tiwari, Maken (one feels sorry for him though). Maybe, I've got the proverb all wrong. The ones who know that the Modi phenomenon is unstoppable and are suddenly finding themselves helpless to do anything about it, are inventing occasions to shout.

Thats the neglect by the media.. The tragedy started on 15th June evening. The Kedarnath temple staff warned tourists on 14th evening itself and even weather reports on 13th and 14th indicated severe rains. This is exactly what the media ignored.

Reminds me of the goof up made by media in 2002 when riots started on Feb-27th and army was deployed by Modi on 1st March.Reports stating that vital '4 days' were lost ,in the process overlooking that Feb had only 28days.This is the level of all macaulians who are very economical with the use of their grey matter but their mouth motors are overloaded most of the time. What better profession can one think of,where one is not responsible for his/her actions and one need not disclose the source of his/her information. Well this is just a suggestion although too late in the day.Would like to know if manned hot air baloons could have been used to drop essentials to the stranded people.Bad weather would not have been a problem for baloons unless it is raining. Likewise for the repeated cases of children falling into open borewells, why not lower a trained monkey into the borewell with camera strapped to its forehead. The monkey must carry a rope with a velcrow strap at the end to fasten the child. The monkey must be trained to use the velcrow tape. Can the child not be pulled up by this. Would like to hear from experts on this.

And it wasn't like Modi landed on ground zero and took off with the people who were stranded there. If you read the reports - he arranged Innovas to take people out (obviously from areas that had road connectivity) and boeings (obviously from an airport). So while he should be lauded for making sure people got out of UK at the earliest, it wsn't like he got the people who really needed to be rescued (caught in the hills) out. That task was performed admirably by Army and ITBP.

    1. If Baba ramdev's relief camp at haridwar has indeed been demolished by KhanChris Roman dynasty, it would be the latest salvo in the genocidal terrorist war being waged on the Indian Hindu masses (who happen to be the majority in India by default rather than by design)by the Church-Corporate New Roman Empire cabal via the Roman Vice-Regent. Remember the murderous terrorist attack ordered by Chidambi on Ramdev and sleeping Yoga-learners in Ramlila Maidan in the dead of night; the recent mass murder of dozens of very poor Kumbh Mela devotees including women and old men by the Centre's Railway police in Allahabad.
The Hindu pilgrims returning from Badri-Kedarnath and Gangotri have already lost all their material possessions before making it to Haridwar. They are suffering from frost-bite, severe hunger and thirst. People are now dying out of hunger because they have not had anything to eat or drink in bitter cold for so many days. Many are recounting stories of how they have been swindled out of jewellry and their meagre cash by the very same Christian fundamentalists in guise of journalists in lieu of promises of getting them evacuated on priority basis. Volunteers in Baba Ramdev's relief camp are distributing warm freshly cooked nutritious food, medicines and clothes free of cost and also paying the entire bill for return railway tickets for their journey back home without discriminating between Hindu or Sikh, man or woman, young or old. For evacuation of stranded pilgrims, only military jeeps are being allowed by Congress government to ply on makeshift roads, and commoner-hating (ugly damn Indians) MSM journalists itching for "copyrighted videos" are occupying precious seats in droves in these vehicles, making a mockery of the Army's heroic but overstretched effort.
Now the KhanChris policy-maker thugs and the colluding Christianising corporate imperialist MSM and evangelist NGO's are seeking to enforce a "monopoly over aid" on the hapless pilgrims. Blocking nationalist grass-root commoners like Ramdev's volunteers from aiding their own fellow-brethren is an important part of this gameplan. Christian propagandists like Rajdip Surdsee are gobbling funds in the name of helping stranded pilgrims for their Christianising NGO's from pockets of generous hindus across the country. Much of such money has either never reached the ground in Uttarakhand, or is being used as a lever to force Christianising sermons on helpless Hindu pilgrims. The business of harvesting souls amidst want and tragedy. Such scams were unearthed also during the economic blockade against Iraq throughout the 1990's when Christianising western NGO's had monopolised food aid to hungry Iraqi's, and also during the scandalous selective-priority aerial evacuation of thousands of stranded indians by air India planes from kuwait in 1990.

    2. Christian fundamentalist evangelists believe in first monopolising aid (itself collated from donations from unsuspecting Hindus rather than the philanthrophy of fabulously rich judeo-Christian oligarchs) to disaser victims, and then to use this monopoly as a "carrot & stick" to harvest their souls and also matamorphose their national allegiance. They wean away such converts from allegiance to their community to zombie slavery of the Western corporate politico-economic empire. This is what they did in Kudankulam to fishermen during the last Tsunami, and raised an army of India-haters to commit sabotage against the government nuclear reactor there. It is the same mentalitity at work in the Reality TV shows of these corporates, where the producers use the stick of sanctioning food rations for the literally imprisoned participants to armtwist them into performing doctored acts aimed at self-humiliation and becoming objects of ridicule and outrage of human dignity. This was how European corporate barons had humiliated the hordes of hungry children that flocked from impoverished villages to P3P city restaurants in Czarist russia, laughing lewd after forcing them to suffer pain in enacting grotesque contortions of the body in return for a single loaf of bread

    3. Baba Ramdev's congreagation was caned and bludgeoned at the orders of Chidambi who has made too much of his morality he claims to have received from "sister nuns" at school. If one accepts the KhanChris argument that the sleeping yoga-bhaktas deserved the savage attack because the terms and conditions of the grant of permission for assembly had been violated by Baba Ramdev's deciding to go on a fast; may we ask whether the terms and conditions are not violated by REALITY TV show managers who rope in scores of "paid crowd managers and professional screamers" to hoot and boo the contestants and hoodwink the public with regards the contestants' popularity at Reality Show premiere venues in government stadiums. As expected beef-lover rajdeep Surdesai's IBN poked fun at Baba Ramdev "for trying to slip away leaving his followers to face the police attack" and Christianiser corporate TV channel also claimed to be the ones that first spotted fleeing ramdev's desguise and betrayed it to the atrocious police goons. Isn't that criminal ?
During the Kumbh this yaer, at the venue of the largest religious congregation in the world, the purely voluntary management by the Sadhu akharas combined with the self-discipline of all of the millions of devotees was so efficient that not a single incident of petty crime surfaced during all those days. But, as if seething with disgust at the spectacular success of the hindu congregation comprising of commoners from the length and breadth of India, KhanChris policy-makers ordered a murderous lathi-charge on innocent pilgrims, young and old on the last day on a foot over-bridge at allahabad Railway Station, causing a stampede and breakage of the railing, causing scores of women and others to fall from such a height to their deaths onto tracks below. And when the pilgrims reached Delhi, again they were bullied by khaki men into "keep moving fast" on the railway foot overbridges, and those with wives or children still on the foot-bride who had accidentally descended from the Unmarked Exit stairs of the foot-bridge ahead of their family were harrased by being told they could neither wait for their family there not retrace their steps to locate their children because "authorised ENTRANCE and EXIT Points at Railway station were far-removed from each other".

  24. Sometime back these very people had a problem when someone in a function, attended by Narendra Modi, had said that now that Mr. Modi has repaid his debt to Gujarat he must repay his debt to India. These people threw their arms up in the air and cried hoarse that serving Gujarat is serving India. They were disgusted at the distasteful remark as in their eyes it was symbolic of the naked ambition of a man they can't stand!

And today the very same people are accusing Modi of not doing enough for India because he allegedly made arrangements for only stranded Gujaratis to return to their homes. Somehow serving Gujarat is not the same as serving India in this instance! Also, I wonder how would NiKu have responded if Modi had planes fly to Bihar with stranded Biharis on board? I wonder if any Chief Minister would have been overcome with gratitude at the magnaniity of Mr. Modi's grand gesture? And I am not even going into the logistical difficulties and official impropriety of such a gesture. If there is anyone who could have and should have done something like this, it is the Government of India and not that of Gujarat.

Also, that Gujaratis were evacuated does not imply Non- Gujaratis weren't helped. The latter can only be established if there is anyone who can say that being a non-Gujarati he was denied assistance by Modi's team.

It is disturbing that the media first publishes reports without any official confirmation or statement, then in TV studios everything in the report is attributed to "Modi's claims" when Modi hasn't even said anything and then good for nothing anchors/performers go on to chastise Modi for being a cheap publicity seeker. There is a serious need to revisit media freedom and clip the wings of these self-appointed moral arbiters.

Knowing how consummate and intelligent a politician Modi is, would he provide an opportunity to both the Inept Congress governments of UK and at Centre to raise a new controversy centred on himself? Far from it. And that strengthen my doubts of TOI planting a story that credited Modi with a Rambo like feat...thereby raising a new controversy to divert public focus from the failure to face the disaster. Just like above para here :-)

You have just followed Mr. Tiwari's style involuntarily. :-)

  33. While I admire Modi on a lot of issues, I do think his presence in UK was unnecessary and had a bit of publicity in mind. TN CM JJ used buses and planes the same way swiftly to bring back the state people without stepping into UK nor creating a hoopla around it.That to me felt like genuine concern.
As for Cong last time I checked both Sonia and Rahul were not part of the govt so it was business as usual.

      1. Public reaction to it. TRP and site comments.

      2. Other parties approach to sell their name too.

    3. @harinee,

JJ is no where near to NaMo when it comes to inspire people, barring age & linguistic barriers... He (NaMo) is seen as a threat to Congress & Commies... So, naturally, whatever he speak or does will be under the scanner... More so after he was elevated as Convenor of BJP for 2014 & the aftermath of that event, viz., JD(U) split from NDA...

On the other hand... Though JJ claims that she wishes good luck for NaMo and they are best of friends and all that... She hardly appeals to anyone else in India, outside TN... Not even in the southern states...

I still remember she extending an helping hand to Congress during the peak of 2G Scam or prior to it, when DMK threatened Congress of pullout from the Govt.... She can be best described as an opportunist, who is concerned only about one region (i.e., TN) & it's people... It doesn't matter to her if neighbors die out of thirst, but release water to them...

That's the true face of JJ...

  35. Nowadays when Modi goes beyond the call of duty, the paid channels begin their news with "politics over..." - for e.g., "...relief" in this case to denounce Modi's action.

Evidently, converts like Rajdeep have more than one covert agenda for hating Modi.

I think its time that we all countrymen stand together and help throw all these pseudo -secular and non performer Governments in Bharat. Why should people donate these TV. Channels. we should rather donate to Baba Ramdev's and other Hindu Trust at least we know that right people will get help. Than all the money going to corrupt politician. Another message I want to give is that All the people should teach a Lesson to Pro Congress Media + Congress by throwing out of power. People should stop watching, buying product of their sponsors, A Parallel Media to counter these channels bogus reporting.

    1. The KhanChris dynasty has reportedly decided that state governments and other nationalist non-congress charities are to be finally be debarred from carrying out relief work in uttarakhand. Its official now! This is just a small example of the superlative tyrrany against commoner Hindus which the dynasty bears in its hearts and has also unashamedly demonstrated from time to time as for example in the crafty massacre of pilgrims at the Kumbh(Congress governments have enacted massacres by lathi-charge at Kumbh even in the 80's, when Congress politicians and ministers got several roads cordoned off for their exclusive use while police savagely lathi-charged millions of pilgrims crumped into narrow alleys)this year. Christianising NGO's and an-anti Hindu corporatist TV media is having a free run under KhanChris patronage, misusing the money collected from ordinary hindus in the name of stranded pilgrims, smearing salt on wounds of pilgrims by selectively dangling the carrot of food aid and promises of rehabilitation to force them condemn Modi and listen to proselytisation propaganda; entire media blocking precious seats in military aircraft, sermonising the army to be selective in operations by evacuating on priority only the "deserving" (women ,children and sick first), loiterring inside and about temples & peoples' demolished homes with upteen opportunity to loot their jewellry & treasures without a single policeman to watch over their activities. And Yet, khanChris dynasty gets Baba Ramdev's fresh food camp outside demolished outside Haridwar station with the same vengeance with which it attacked yogabhyasis and murdered a woman at midnight in Ramlila grounds, and debars Ramdev and state governments from carrying out aid work. Unlike sacharikka Goose's "Ugly Indian " rants ,Ramdev's volunteers are from among the masses, who being one with the pilgrims revere them and cannot hold themselves back from their moral duty in this hour of need. Imagine if a person is debarred from helping his father, son or daughter trapped in a burning house.

    2. The KhanChris UK government which firstly showed criminal negligence in ignoring the torrents and floods and calls for disaster management for whole 3 days beginning June 15, and then callously sat like a cobra over the huge loads of aid for some time and only released it when the crown prince returned from his European jaunts, now has the cheek to say it will permit other state governments to chart relief work only under its aegis and through UK KhnChris government channel. No one has the right to monopolise any good work, least of all charity in such a tragedy of epidemic proportions. No such restrictions have however been imposed on the sham charity cells established by corporate electronic media houses. For the record Modi has nevertheless sanctioned Rs 5 crores from Gujarat govt to be given to UK govt also. While the KhanChris administration and evangelist fanatic media houses may have the right of discretion in prioritising aid to selective categories of people, they have absolutely no legal or moral right to stop other volunteers from reaching precisely those people who do not deserve priority in their reckoning. Baba ramdev has expressed heartfelt agony at the Pishachic attitude of Uttaranchal government and detailed at length how apart from the pilgrims, local denizens who have lost both their hearth and homes and have nowhere else to be evacuated to are also fighting a grim battle between life and death by every passing hour. Given the inefficient and indifferent manner in which UK government has handled aid uptil now, it is apparent that the efforts of the UK government alone are grossly inadequate to save lives. Thousands have still not been reached by an iota of government aid. Time is running out. Under the circumstances, it is both necesaary and desirable for all parties having the means to render as much aid as they can. Encumbring nationalist grass-root indians from their moral duty is the gravest murder of human rights and justice. KhanChris which called Modi Maut ka saudagar is proving itself the mother of all genocidists. The corporate evangelists with their native culture of brutalising reality shows is used to monopolising relief work built through usurped funds of others. KhanGress will not address the root cause of this man-made disaster----the corporate ravages against environment, but ban people from aiding the dying. In 1990's supersecularist Indian government banned supply of food by private individuals to Iraq and kuwait, aided American planes that had created the humanitarian crisis, and then shamelessly decided to evacuate Indians selectively on gender priority basis, while RBI shamelessly refused to grant permission to Indians to buy tickets of foreign air;lines to ferry back home stranded relatives denied priority by Indian government.

  39. For the first time I have seen an editor of a national newspaper threatening an opposition party spokesperson. The context is, usual anti-Modi discussion on NDTV Hindi at 9 P.M.today (as usual with five panelists who are out and out Modi bashers and one BJP spokesperson).Vinod Sharma told Naqvi that 'Don't play with Nitish's sentiments otherwise he will reveal the secret (about Modi) by which India will be ashamed and there will be an international inquiry'.HaHaHa.

    1. Just now I watched recorded version of this telecast. Whatever is that Nitish wants to reveal is immaterial. It may hurt even BJP/Modi very badly. But this is something of national concern. There is sufficient material to take the matter to judiciary. Even Vinod Sharma should be made a party for attempt of suppression of facts.

  40. I may sound cynical, but here are some hard facts.

The last of the stranded pilgrims will have been rescued in the next 2 or 3 days. What will remain are dead bodies, damaged property and washed off roads and electricity lines.

The dead bodies will take a couple of weeks more. The funds being donated by generous ppl will have started flowing into UK govt coffers by then.

These funds will go to lucrative contracts to cronies or netas' frontmen. Some funds will go into giant ads featuring the usual mugshots of Sonia, Rahul, MMS and the CM beaming at the devastation. The State govt ministers have been wishing, for some time now, for newer, better official cars. Their wishes have a strong possibility of being fulfilled. The locals who wish for compensation will be made to jump through various hoops fashioned out of red tape to get their doles. Of course, a good word from the right person in the right party office is a great help in such situations. The said good word more often than not has a price tag.

What to speak of the last 60 plus years, even the last 9 years have given us enough evidence of what happens when Congies and funds are placed in close proximity.

So donate generously, but don't donate injudiciously or indiscriminately.

Now, today when they have become laughing stock on the issue they are desperately trying to analyze it to blame others (read Modi and its probable PR team), to save their own faces. Just check up Whether Modi has ever claimed such credit in public/media??? 42. 'Rambo' Modi leaves even Central Government speechless | Tsunami 2004 : Chief Minister of Gujarat Mr.Narendra Modi style of Functioning | He did same in Uttarakhand. For him, lives of people matters most. Read and share ! Critics should learn good things like Disaster Managment from Modi

Following the terrible Tsunami waves to the South India, while deliberations were being held to convene the meeting of Crisis Management Group (CMG), the Chief Minister of a state on Western Coast, Gujarat, was presiding over the meeting of its CMG.

The meeting of CMG of Gujarat was held first and meeting CMG of Central Government later. The high speed with which the CM of Gujarat made preparations to meet the coming calamity has left the officers of Central Government amazed.

Following is a look at the style of functioning of Narendra Modi.

Morning: 9.30: Meeting of the team for Disaster Management

Morning: 10.30: Decision of helping Tsunami victims

Morning: 11.00: Message of consolation and sympathy sent to chief of the governments of Thailand, Sumatra, Indonesia.

Afternoon: 2.00 p.m. Programme of relief operations sketched and stocktaking
    done.

Evening: 5.00 Two planes loaded with relief equipment ready for flight.

Tsunami waves had hit Tamilnadu, Keral, and Andaman-Nicobar. But the lightening speed with which Modi was engaged in the relief work, has earned the admiration of the Central Government officers.

Modi established a control room for relief work in Gandhinagar. In this work, he took a very important step. To keep contact with Tamilnadu Government, he selected Tamil speaking officers from Gujarat, for coordinating with Kerala, he selected Malayalam Officers and he did the same thing about Andaman. He was in constant touch with Lt Government of Andaman, Ram Kapse to get a chance for the planes from Gujarat to land on the Port Blair aerodrome.

He was personally supervising what material should be sent to South Indian states. While selecting the material for relief work, the officers had listed Kurta and Pyjama. Modi corrected to read it as "Lungi - Shirt". The officers did not have the presence of mind to remember that where the relief material was being sent, people wear Lungi and Shirts and not Kurta-Pyjama, but Modi had it.

While the Disaster Management team of Central Government was surveying the areas, Modi selected 67 highly affected talukas and appointed 67 Officers. Every officer was directed to look after his own Taluka. He also directed them to take the cooperation of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and other voluntary organization.

  43. My views on Modi's rescue of stranded pilgrims is echoed in the last para of the blog. He and his rescue team greatly reduced the burden on army, UKD govt and rescue workers.

In fact, Modi's arrival at UKD and his presence made a big motivating impact on rescue and relief efforts. After Modi, AP's CB Naidu followed Modi's footsteps and helping APeople still standed there. Again Modi has proved he is a great leader and hence other leaders are following him.

  45. Congress dirty media tricks depts' latest gameplan and modus operandi to discredit Modi

    **********

BTW, this is a new low in journalism. This is the latest modus operandi of the dirty tricks of the Congress party in attacking and discrediting Narendra Modi in the eyes of the public this time:

Step 1: First, Congress dirty tricks dept plants a seemingly unbelievable article over-exaggerating Modi's work in major Indian mainstream media houses. Such articles would even make Faking News look credible. Please note that this over-exaggerating article (portraying Modi as superhuman or action hero) is planted by the Congress dirty tricks department itself, WITHOUT any claims made or confirmed by Modi or the BJP.

Step 2: Make it a major headline so that it is shared all over social media and becomes the talk of the country.

Step 3: Ask the most loud-mouthed spokespersons of Congress to make absurd statements and publicize their statements heavily. They essentially discredit Modi by saying "his claims" (although Modi and the BJP never made any claims in the first place) are false and therefore Modi is a habitual liar, and everything he has ever said (about Gujarat's achievements, economic development model, 2002 violence, future vision for India, etc) was also lies.

Step 4: Now, make every newspaper and TV channel pick up the issue, dissect it for over one week by discussions so loud that even when the BJP spokespersons go on record to say that the original article was written without credible sources and the claim was never made by Modi or the BJP, they are not heard.

Step 5: After making it a huge national issue, debunk the original article by making other journalists write in the same newspaper. In fact, these 'debunking stories' calling Modi a liar for making over-exaggerated claims (remember, claims that he actually never even made himself, but were planted by the Congress itself), cheat, usurper of credit from armed forces, Gujarat-biased regional leader appear in 100x times more newspapers and TV channels.

Step 6: All these 100s of Congress-planted anti-Modi articles discredit the first Congress-planted pro-Modi story, thereby discrediting Modi and making him out to be a liar and a "badbola" in the eyes of the general public. These new articles are made into even bigger headlines, shared 1000x times more on social media, and again become the talk of the country.

Step 7: Continue with step 3, getting reactions from Congress spokespersons and having week-long panel discussions about how Modi cannot be believed or trusted.

Ironically, during all this mayhem, the man Modi himself goes on with his work like the elephant that walks the streets while dogs bark at it.

PS: Please share and spread this comment as widely as possible.

    2. The most dangerous STEP 5, the DEBUNKING STORIES having 100 x wider dissemination in myriad news channels and papers, is precisely the excuse on which the conscience-less media is basing its justification of the KhanChrissite UK administration's decision to debar non-KhanChrissite state governments from directly helping dying pilgrims and native village denizens, and ordering them to route all their aid only through not-exactly overboard UK govt channels. Of course, with concrete manifest relief work rather than dabbling in disaster politics being the prime preoccupation of Modi at this juncture, he has nevertheless silently decided to pay Rs 5 crore to UK adm. But why stop democratically established state govts, modi, Ramdev etc. from fulfilling their moral duty and hearts' bidding ? The lives shattered by cruel fate are the final victims of this heartless game. Your analysis is precise and succint, and must be disseminated freely to all fellow countrymen deeply concerned that aid reaches the needy.

  49. Hi,
These journalists are not the real culprits, bro. The real culprits are News channel owners who get pressurized by political parties(or they get handsome amount), who inturn pressurize their journalists and control what they say. Give the journalists their freedom and ask them to speak freely and then see. CBI is not a bad organization. But the fact that they are being controlled by Political forces is what is bad. These controllers always work in the background just like how SoniaG works inside Congress. These controllers should be people's target.
