NaMo Mantra & IndiaToday's Shameful Conduct

Ever seen the fine print in a public contest advertisement? There is always a clause that reads somewhat like this: “The following persons are not eligible to participate in the contest: (a) employee(s) of any company in XYZ Group and close relations of such employee(s), and (b) the employee(s) of companies that provide direct sponsorship of the contest”. This is to prevent any malpractice through insider information in the contest. This clause should be applicable to some aspects of the Summits and Conclaves that our media often holds. This is where I consider the recent India Today Conclave 2013 (ITC) quite shameful in its process. If the purpose of debates and discussions in these conclaves is to bring out new ideas and thoughts then ITC is a major sham. I cannot list even one new idea it has brought forth from any of its participants, except Narendra Modi. But then Modi doesn’t need ITC to throw up ideas anyway. All that the rest of ITC does is peddle more of the same mindless crap and nobody is any wiser.

What is worse is the less than honest conduct of the event by Rahul Kanwal and Aroon Purie. Pathetic! And we’ll see why. I’m not going to discuss the scratch-my-back type discussions or the Bollywood masala that is usually part of such events. Let’s cut straight to the panel discussion on March 15. The topic was something like ‘Future of democracy and youth’. Participants were Manish Tiwari, RPN Singh, Harsimrat Kaur Badal, Aaditya Thackeray, Smriti Irani and Arvind Kejriwal. All are politicians so they are on the same page. The panel discussion was fine but it’s when the Q&A session started that I had to be suspicious. Naturally, a bit later I tweeted a single word: “Fixed”.

In a democratic debate I personally consider it a crime to bring in a communist as a questioner. The ideology of communists does not fit into the democratic philosophy at all. It’s therefore that I consider it our country’s unique misfortune that much of our media is controlled by commie ideology. But why in the world would ITC get an absolute Commie like Kavita Krishnan to ask questions of a democratic discussion. The dishonest part about ITC and Rahul Kanwal is that they passed her of as a social activist. The introduction should have clearly mentioned that the woman is a member of the CPI (ML) and therefore her contempt and disgust for Hindutva and Right-wing parties must be seen in that light. KavitaK had questions for none but Smriti Irani and Thackeray. The CPI (ML) of which KavitaK is a member of the central committee is a known supporter of violent movements, Maoists and separatists. I called it “fixed” but I’m not the only one to see the deception. There were many as this tweet of Smita Barooah shows.

True to form KavitaK peddled nonsense like suffering at the hands of YuvaSena (to Aaditya Thackeray) when such a unit did not even exist in the time period she was referring to. But well, it didn’t stop there. It started all over again after Narendra Modi finished his speech. Whether you’re a BJP supporter or not only an extreme fool will deny that NaMo is an extraordinarily inspirational speaker. He speaks extempore with facts and figures at his finger-tips. He makes sense. What was the topic? It was supposedly “Namo Mantra for India”. What should the questions relate to? What’s the job of the host or moderator? This is where both Rahul Kanwal and Aroon Purie failed miserably and conducted themselves shamelessly and most unprofessionally. (Watch the video)

In the opening para I mentioned that members of the host organisation shouldn’t be allowed to participate in the process of an event. However, considering this is not a contest this too is fine. So who is the person allowed to ask the first question to Modi? PunyaPrasun Bajpai, a guy who has recently returned to the IndiaToday group. Modi immediately asks if this is some kind of press conference and Kanwal laughs and denies and even denies there’s any “fixing”. Aha! No match fixing? So what was the BS question by Bajpai? It was about what’s holding Modi’s license to the road to Delhi. Now, does the question relate to the topic or Modi’s speech at all? Nope! So the moderator should have said “Sorry Bajpai, don’t fool around, stick to the topic”. Although Modi answered and even ridiculed the moron, the hosts should know how unprofessional and incompetent they are to allow such foolish questions which don’t even relate to the speech, topic or agenda of the conclave.

So the IT group people got to ask the most questions. Sandeep Bamzai asked another one and then the worst to come was from a moron who passes off as editor at IT. His name is Javed Ansari. What does he ask? He goes back to the 2002 riots and the apology theme. This is criminal “fixing” by Rahul Kanwal and Aroon Purie. If it wasn’t “fixed” they should have honourably disallowed the question stating it is “off topic”. If calling Modi to every event on a different topic and then allowing questions to invariably lead to the 2002 nonsense is the agenda, then it is nothing short of “fixing”. Modi was naturally forced to retort that he knew and had seen the “games” of the media many times over and is not bothered about the hidden agendas of the media insiders asking these questions.

Remember, even in the Hindustan Times Summit of 2007 Modi was called to speak on State & Centre relations. There too Rajdeep Sardesai who was the host and anchor veered from the topic to disgusting comments about Modi. Since then Modi has won more elections and grown in stature while Rajdeep has now degenerated into a full-fledged troll and hate-monger. If these morons wanted to talk about PM candidate and 2002 their topic should have read “NaMo’s PM candidature & 2002”. Was that the topic? There were many important points that Modi made in his presentation and speech that have high value and relevance for India and her future. But do these hate-mongers and gossip-mongers at IndiaToday care about India? Their questions had no relevance to the topic and the speech. They really don’t give a damn about the future of India or NaMo’s or anybody’s mantra for India. Do they? If I were to ask Rahul Kanwal or Aroon Purie how India benefited from this Conclave in a single paragraph, I guarantee you they won’t be able to answer. Because they really don’t give a damn!

I would not be wrong in considering Rahul Kanwal, Aroon Purie and Javed Ansari continuing the trend of others in the media of “fixing questions” and “planting questioners” to fuel hatred for Modi and his party, while living off the crumbs that the TRPs his presence and speeches generate. While Smriti Irani, Aaditya Thackeray and Narendra Modi came off with flying colours from the event the IndiaToday group came off a shameless “fixer”. The joke of it all is Kanwal tweets that they had invited RahulG too but he had declined. IT and other shameless media groups forget that it takes courage to do what Modi does. These same people crawl and lick the ground on which RahulG walks and catch the spit of SoniaG before it hits the ground. If they had any decency or morals left in them they would ask many questions of the Gandhis. But the cowards will not. IndiaToday’s conduct of these two episodes in the event was most unprofessional and far from honest. Shame on the whole group!

  6. Good analysis bringing out the base motives of IT Conclave 2013. People of India have watched the programme and are inspired by the Namo mantra of development and good governance. Namo did not bat an eyelid while he was asked leading questions and did not fall into the trap laid by them for him.

    1. Indeed. Infact a local news channel (Suvarna Kannada news channel) carried out an SMS contest to vote for the future PM between NaMo and RG and NaMo won hands down by 83%. But the big qn still remains the same. What about rural India? And being being a person belonging to Karnataka, it pains to admit that BJP govt is the worst govt that Karnataka has ever seen. S M Krishna who is a Congress leader was way better than bunch of fools in BJP.

  8. Let's face it, at some time or other, sooner the better, Modi will have to take the 2002 questions head on. They will not stop and understandably so. Unless he does so and clears the air it will always hang round him. Just as when every time the likes of Tytler etc come centre stage, 1984 comes to mind immediately and colours our vision. And that is because these guys ran and have never cleared the air and seem to hope that it will go away. It will not. So too with Modi.

Before taking centre stage, he must reach out unambiguously, this is an emotional issue for many, reassurance is called for. So far that hasn't happened. IMO unless he clears the air frankly, questions will come, planned or otherwise. Once he does, many wall sitters will have reason enough to jump to his side and his detractors will be seen as poor losers if they don't stop questioning him.

    2. That may be true, but was yesterday's event in any way related to 2002. It was specifically about whether Gujarat model of development can be replicated all over India.
No leader other than Modi has ever been subject of such intense scrutiny as him by Media, national and international human rights groups, various commissions and Judiciary. Without any iota of his involvement in any way he has been much maligned.
      Time to stop this fixation.

    3. He doesn't have to clarify anything.Everything is in public domain.
Let me tell you if Modi apologies or says regret the media would spin it so much that they finally declare him the culprit.
Yesterday by not agreeing to answer the 2002 riot he has done tremendous job,if he says anything on that the whole presentation of the ideas he proposed would have been watered down by the media.
As Mahesh Bhatt said even if Allah testifies for Modi Muslims won't forgive him.

Modi is class apart. If UPA's damage to the nation has to be rectified it may take more than 5-7 years to reach 2004 stage.

    4. @Dara What is the basis of your assumption that there is guilt involved in case of Modi for 2002? Has anyone till date furnished any evidence to that effect.

Yes he was the CM at that point of time. There are parallels available that can be placed before you to judge for yourself if you line of thought is correct.

As for Tytler he was not subjected to such an intensive scrutiny had been put under it , we would have seen very different results. Modi can't and should not be compared with Tytler.

    5. Dear Dara,

Your comment smells of giving undue importance to Main Stream Media. Agreed that they have a mass effect & can play with thought process of ordinary indian with their spins. But believe me the effect of an ordinary spirited grass root worker with truth in his voice is far reaching. India Today needs hundreds of such workers at grass root level in each constituency to spread the development message of Shri Modi. Hence I sincerely believe its time we create an independant group of workers per each constituency who would not be part of any political party but still drive the mantra of "India First". Even if such local group is able to swing a few dozen seats it can change the political future of India.

    6. Harish. I am not comparing their roles at all. Tytler led mobs. The point is many are of the opinion that Modi has to take responsibility of what happened on his watch. And 2002 is ingrained in them, just as 1984 for Tytler. Those who want to are making political capital out of it. It will also, IMO, have a bearing on his prospects later. My suggestion is that the sooner he kills this incessant ref to 2002 and the sooner he gives some reassurances, the sooner the matter will be taken care of. He too can move on.

Dr Satya: you are right and also prove my point. Sat night had nothing to do with 2002, yet it cropped up. It will continue. I wish he had taken on the Q head on and killed it, specially when he had a captive audience to support him. Fear this will repeat till he squashes it.

DC40: As it is the media keeps on calling him 'culprit' anyway. He made a great speech, has capability. He needs to swing the people who are on the fence. I feel this is best done by making a gesture of reassurance or whatever without mincing words or playing with them. The time to do it is now, so that he can get on with his job. Believe me, I am apolitical and desperately looking for a man with his acumen. I know many waiting to be converted. There are lots who say 'Yes, Modi is the man, but...." My point is - kill that "but."

Anil: I am not saying there is guilt or not. However, I am sure you won't deny there are many who think there is. In a close election, and thats what there will be, efforts are needed to convert the maybes and those who are willing to give him the benefit and be converted. IMO, one way of doing so is to banish the 2002 shadow for good by meeting it head on. Thats why I say he should have answered the Q that evening and settled the bogey. Do not think I am comparing Tytler and Modi, I just gave him as an example of what people think and why..

Dear Abhijit, MSM has a long reach and as you yourself say, does sway thinking of many. Specially those who don't really follow politics, except for the evening news/discussions. Committed followers are in the kitty. But I think for Modi to become PM or play a prominent role at the Centre, every new supporter matters, and matters a lot, as you yourself imply. His party is losing allies or at least they make noises over it, perhaps even to push their own claim. The 'don't knows' need to be converted into commitment. I feel this can happen and one way in which he can swell support.

    7. Dear Dara,

I completely agree that NAMO must get the fence sitters & that's exactly what he is doing by showing up courage & attending India Today conclave & answering questions head on. If he had anything to hide he would not visit such conclaves swarming with his opponents. Just compare this to how Rahul baby din't attend when knowing fully well that he would be treated like a blue eyed messaih. If you still have any positive suggestions please elaborate.

    8. @Dara Have you seen that DOGs bark more when given an importance, we just cant waste our energy in fighting them in their language. MSM is doing what they are supposed to do, their bosses in UPA govt ordered them to keep the ghost alive and they are doing it rightfully. In contrast, there is a man who gives damn to what media writes about him. At the same time negative reporting is increasing is popularity and fan following. when SC has not found him guilty, people of Gujarat expressed their love to Modi thrice in a row, does he need anymore certificate of innocence? He is committed to do great work and making their lives better..

    9. Dear Abhijit: Lets leave Rahul out of this - no contest as far as I am concerned. I accept he has nothing to hide and I think he can counter his detractors easily, too strong willed, knowledgeable and astute to be caught on the wrong foot. All I am saying- I would have been happier had he answered that question forcefully and forthrightly. And the next time it comes up, as it will, I hope he does so. It will reap him more political capital. That is my firm belief. I think people who are uncertain, will react positively - they need an excuse if you can call it that.

Piyush: He doesn't need anybody's certification. Yet, if he reaches out to those who are being fed on MSM, and there are plenty, he will be a gainer. He needs every bit of support, because I think, w/o Modi, the next election is going to be more kichdi. The only other possibility is a strong leader emerges and there is really only one on the horizon as of now. He will emerge but he needs to garner far more support right now. Convert the ditherers, they are not fools, all they need is a positive gesture or reaching out.

    10. @Dara @Abhijeet @Piyush & Others on this particular thread of discussion:

      a) This post is not about what happens to Modi. Its about a media house misusing an event hosted by it to rake up unrelated issues.

      b) I consider it deplorable that the issues were raked up by members of the media house itself, when they should have played a far more neutral role as the host.

      c) There is no evidence that MSM has the power to influence elections. This has been seen in UP,Bengal, Gujarat and few more states.

      d) Like IndiaToday, don't lose focus from the topic. This thread is now closed. Any new comments may please be made as a new comment with relevance to media, not politics.

  9. at the end of Modi's speech 3people who asked questions came to meet Modi. This apart, the repeated begging of the eminent personalities for the apology, regret is foolish. When a leader can bring peace and prosperity to the riot torn people, why should he regret or apologize for things that are in nobody's contol. This apology is a bait, and if they succeed then the cottage industry will use it, twist, turn it so that many half fans will go back to the initial state and hate Modi.

  11. I totally agree. NAMO's presentation, his vision of free India, true spirit of democratic elections, compact between citizens and the government, his innovative, proven ideas improving the lot of common citizens,,his views on foreign policy, relations with neighbors, managing coalitions, corruption, funding of elections, role and accountability of bureaucracy etc. are the most refreshing, tested and can be applied to entire country. He is clear in what he thinks India needs and has Gujarat to prove why he is on right track. No other CM/PM can claim this record.

The way the questions on 2002 started with 'whole and heal'by a planted comedian to the hatred dripping Javed Ansari, I get a feeling that sole purpose of inviting NAMO was to rack up 2002.

IF IT has concluded he is personally responsible for 2002, why on earth invite him and shower all the encomiums, phony? For TRP - then most unethical.

IT and like do not realise they are making a common citizen like me compare more and more of NAMO with 2Gs hiding more and more behind skirt of Media and find, for 2G ruling India is beyond their depth, that is why India is ruined today.

I would defer on one point with you.

I think, it's good that they asked a question on 2002. If Modi had avoided that question, the media would have made a huge hue and cry about Modi not being comfortable to speak about 2002.

Now that he has answered that question, media has nothing negative to say about this address.

In fact this question has added to his aura.

So, let them ask him about 2002 again and again until they are tired of asking the same question.

  17. Raviji, bang on! Bravo for your insightful summing up of the IT conclave. Let me analyse two things: A conclave is "A secret or confidential meeting". Let us assume that IT calls its meet a conclave, it is in the sense of a meeting of family members or associates. The family here is the media and associates being public at large. Does not the approach and type of questions asked, as you rightly point out, reveal the secretive and confidential-to-IT's-pre-fixed agenda? The naming of IT meet as conclave, prim-facie, proves it. Let this be on one side.
On the other, let me take Rahul K’s tweet: RK uses the word "regret". In its literal sense -regret is - Feel sad, repentant, or disappointed over (something that has happened or been done, esp. a loss or missed opportunity). Its synonyms are: - deplore - repent - lament - mourn - be sorry. Does any of these fit in to convey the meaning that" RG has refused"? Certainly not. To me, here too, Rahul K protects Rahul G. Is this not yet another conclave fixing agenda? To me it is.
Yet another logical question is as to why Rahul K for that matter did not announce, during the meet, the names of those who declined invitation to participate? This camouflaged strategy did bring to broad day light the logical inference of "conclave-fixing".
If I may summarize the outcome of the IT meet, I wish to quote Bernard Shaw, who describes an association as a group of individuals, who individually cannot do anything, but get together to decide collectively that nothing constructive can be done at all!
Raviji, thanks …and…may your tribe increase….

  26. When Rahul Kanwal asked Modi a question about why the poverty level in Gujarat has not fallen as compared to some other states, Modi gave a very incisive reply. He said that due to the fast growth in the state, employment opportunities were also growing fast. This was attracting a lot of poor from other states who were coming to Gujarat in the hope of a better life, and he is happy in welcoming them. But because of this factor, the poverty statistics would continue to remain adverse. This, I thought, was a very refreshing perspective, a very progressive one too.

But trust Headlines today, to carry out a ticker below after a few minutes: Modi Blames Immigrants for Poverty!

If this is the kind of slant that they can give to any innocuous sentence uttered by Modi, one can imagine how they will paint any remotest sign of remorse or regret which they would like Modi to utter. They will probably say that this is clinching evidence of his complicity in the riots!!!

  27. U may not know the subscription fraud which was done by IT group few years back. Will share, what they did, which I came to know from my friend in US.
They were given rights to publish Scientific American India edition by world renowned Nature group of US for India region. Around 80000 People with interest in science and engineering subscribed to that magazine ranging from 1 year to 3 years. But in Jan 2011 Nature group of US abruptly snatched the rights from IT group to publish this magazine. And IT group nicely sent a letter immediately to all subscribers mentioning the amount of refund of remaining subscription. Very nice!! so far.
But the cheque never came…my friend followed and they said ..”.oh they are huge in numbers so it is taking a awhile to send those cheques”. OK!!.
But till June and July 2011 he was told same thing again and again. In the meantime he left India and went to US to work for US govt and threatened to complaint to US embassy in India against all stakeholder including Poori sir for revoking their existing US VISA and denial of VISA in future as per the case…. b/c cheating and fraud was donein the name of one of the renowned US group. And US take its people and brand name very seriously.
And in the less than a week he GOT his refund in August 2011 with a sorry lettter…but only after IT grp making sure he is in US (he got few blank calls from New York city during that time). I am sure he is the only few ones who got the refund b/c by that time all interested in science and technology may have forgotten to remeber or follow.
So check if you were also one of the old customers of SA India and got the refund letter but not the money than IT IS HIGH TIME TO ….

    80000 X 1500 (avg refund money) = 12 Crore they made..a conservative estimate.

So they may be looking for these type of ideas in conclave...who knows!! but I am giving u this idea that if any indian big business house cheats u..just reply them with a letter saying we are going to complaint in US embassy for cheating done so ur US visa can be revoked or may not be given ever...and they all know very well US is not run by SMS (sri mati sonia) and MMS.
I can bet if u dont get ur refund/complaint redressal sooner than expected :)
//one more idea NaMo style from this conclave13 and I will also not charge any consultancy fee for the same.

  28. As per Wikipedia, On Narendra Modi's role the Special Investigation Team report appointed by Supreme Court states
“ Law and order review meetings were held by Modi and all the things was done to control the situation... the Army was called on time to contain the communal violence.
Modi was busy with steps to control the situation, establishment of relief camps for riot victims and also with efforts to restore peace and normalcy. In view of the detailed inquiry and satisfactory explanation of the person involved, no criminal case is made out against Narendra Modi.

This is what Wikipedia says about Gujarat riots

"An interesting observation with regard to media handling of Gujarat riots is that at the time of riots, the media reports had been pointing out the steps taken by Modi administration to curb riots and how even the combined strength of Indian Army which Modi had requested with few hours of riots having broken, and State Police could not control the situation. However, later, the media editorials became critical of Modi, sidelining the facts they'd already published".

thanks so much for your views.

apart from that there were many moronory. Remember there was one foreign journo who asked a question to Modi and Kanwal tried to give that a different angle.

  31. i was waiting for ur take on the conclave13. i was watching the part where rahul dravid, ganguly, lara and ranatunga were discussiing about future of cricket in view of highly successful t20 and ipl etc.impact of these shorter formats on test cricket.
in the end kanwal asks whether bcci office bearers should own an ipl team or not (srinivasan and csk)..why should this issue be raised up in this discussion..and he was persistently demanding an answer from the panelists , ganguly in particular.
these people do not know how to organize a panel discussion at all.after all panelists have spoken when questions from the floor are invited, there should not be any cross questioning at all.here its full blown arguments going on..and what the hell is the moderator for ????

  32. Hi, this may be little OT, but I was looking at the mediacrooks site popularity in alexa.com, which is near accurate on website ranking. Now, MC ranks less than 1,00,000 worldwide and 13,740 rank in India. This is phenomenal for a new and no-commercial website that has started a couple of years ago.

I hope and wish this site becomes under 10,000 and 1,000 worldwide and in India soon.

  33. Hi Ravi ji
I read ur blog regularly bt for the first time i m commenting. i saw the whole speech of Narendra Modi and Q&A round. i dont agree with you regarding fixing, even though it is fixed whats wrong in taking questions on riots? His reply was good, i wont say best. He is most likely to be the PM candidate so he should take up as many questions as he can. if he doesnt then BJP will be no different from congress. Above all Rahul Kanwal fired some questions with facts n figures to him which Modi ji answered very well. so whats wrong in that? Why should any leader in India be questioned simple questions?
Of course i agree such questions dont come up with RG or SG but that doesnt mean it should not come up with BJP. Actually by answering such questions Narendra Modi gains people confidence.

    1. Unfortunately they dont invite Modi for that Topic, and they are fulfilling an agenda in the name of the Conclave.

Standards has to be set the same , one for BJP and Modi and completely protection of Congress and Sonia,Rahul is utterly cheating the innocent viewer and manipulating his opinion

In the end media has to be neutral and because of such FIXING, media is PROPOGANDA machine for rich , corrupt and powerful

Modi and BJP has to fight an unequal battle combined with manipulation which is totally criminal !

      Delete
    2. @Viral

If they had the guts they should have made their agenda very clear and invited Modi to speak on "Gujarat 2002". Would Modi have agreed then? To invite him for something and then misuse the forum is illegitimate in a private event. This was not a press conference, it was a private event, please remember that. This misuse particularly came from members of the hosts of the event which is even worse. So I disagree on your contention that Modi should speak about 2002 at every forum where he appears.

I am not even discussing whether Modi answered well or not because that isnt the issue at all. You are misguided and misreading if you think because Modi answered well things are fine. They are not. The media's crime cannot be condoned because someone handled them well. That's what your argument is. BTW I'm also not bothered if Modi gains people's confidence or not. This is your concern, not mine. I look at the media, not at Modi.

  37. When will this breed of media morons understand that people are not fool; they understand media's bais and sycophancy. Right from the beginning of this program, their hatred was prominent. When Modi was showcasing the small clip on Gujarat, they inserted a commercial break and didn't continue from where they ended.

Then came complete crap questions from few stupid fart-faced bum-lickers - Prasun Bajpai & Javed Ansari (these smartasses would certainly be suffering from PILES) - they spilled goat's shits out of their mouth whenever they spoke. But I loved the way Modi slapped his answers on their faces.

Despite knowing IT's love towards him, Modi participated and answered all out-of-place questions in great spirits. Does the supremely intellectual national bachcha of ours has the guts to take such questions publicly? And this bum-licking IT group compares him with Modi.

    On Topic :
Thank you for again exposing the "fixed" mindset of MSM and involved people in particular.

Having seen disgusting behavior from the organizers and questioners in the past , I was in the opinion that this time it was well handled event. Only after going through the points you have made in the blog I realize my opinion was not good enough as I was comparing the recent event (which was less hostile due to various resions) with past horrible ones, and hence it looked better.

You have nailed RahulK in particular and IndiaToday group in general for their "fixed" mediocre behavior.

Keep it on Ravi, all the best :-)

  46. This entire 2002 issue is media concocted lie at the behest of forces inimical to India .
There is nothing Narendra Modi needs to be ashamed off or even apologize .
There are enough material in you tube and Internet which convincingly establish that if anything narendra Bhai managed the riots in a very firm and astute manner .
one should also remember that just because one is a chief minister it does not mean that one would automatically be aware of the gravity of the situation . Decisions have to be made in an atmosphere of uncertainty basis whatever available information/data . And he did very well . Infact much much better than any minister in the history of india . he requested for police support from neighboring states ; got in the army ; there were about 300 Hindus too that died mostly in police firing to quell riots . And the situation was brought under control very fast . Remember this happened across multiple cities . The toll could have been much much higher . In one city Delhi itself in 1984 - the impact of those riots had a toll ( in just one community ) of over 4000 . not much is known of how many rioters , if any , died ? And here is this guy who followed rajdharma in its most true form being wantonly criticized by nincompoops ???
It is the thankless , shameless , spineless vermins and termites that continue to whip up froth and continue to bad mouth this great son of India - probably the gift of God paying heed to the prayers of genuine patriots .
From whatever little I know of him / observed him - he is just extremely passionate about this country and he serves the people of Gujarat to the best of his ability as service to nation . If tomorrow he does not get to be PM - he may be hurt for sometime ( maybe ) - but he will continue serving our motherland in Whatever way he can . such people come once in a millennium and this is the treacherous fate of this country that there are people that are hating him ,ignoring objectivity and harming the national interests .

Every good of his is downplayed . Every acheivement of his is trivialized . the people of this country that follow mainstream media are in the grips of an insanely ungrateful vermins . The faster they are able to extricate themselves - it is better for them as also this country . I had suggested even earlier - I reiterate this once again .
Collectively boycott , ignore , trivialize any mainstream media which is shameless , prejudiced , insane , petty , anti-national , anti - Hindu , anti-Modi . Render them useless and irrelevant before the 2014 elections and see your real person of substance and relevance take charge of this country .

Sad that Modi is being pulled down by BJP too with petty goals in mind ignoring the greater good of the nation reminiscent of the Battle of Plassey. Leaders like Sushma Swaraj can display maturity and sincerity by declaring support to Modi. This will give hope to the fence sitters and put a stop to media's lies and chicanery

Instead, he demonstrated hope and belief in old fashioned ideas like patriotism and self-respect in a deeply cynical and hopeless atmosphere created by the worthies from the above fancy Universities. If we do not elect him as our PM in 2014, it will be our loss and not NaMo's.

  47. if you expected something else then it is your fault Mr.Ravinar. let me know one single media - print or electronic does not spread lies, does not behave like published or broadcasted from janpath road, or akbar road. in india there is no cmmunist party or something like that. it is a nice game well taught by british and learnt by congress. these samajwadi pary. BSP, AIADMK, DMK, TDP, JDU, Communist parties all are made by congress. they just collect the anti congress vote and later deposit it in the name of "secularism" to congress. you will not find these so called MAOISTS in any congress ruled state in significant number or manner. if the government changes then you will find these antisocial elements surface in the name of social justice. i admire your tireless crusade against such media and people attached to them.but i think as it is a duty to point out the lies of these media at the same time it is also necessary to explain why these lies are spread and how it can impact our society. because until and unless general people are well aware of these tricks the people with money and media will continue to rule.

(If we leave aside a small communist section- 'the hindu'/'frontline' types), these so called Nehru style socialists/communists would not take a minute to think if it comes to making money and property through crony-capitalism. Sheer Nonsense.Modi never ever blamed migrants at all. You write shit.We have heard his entire IT discourse He only welcomed them and said if Gujarat is able to provide Job food and security for any poor people who are coming to Gujarat in search livelihood,he is happy with that and there is no other better work that he can do for his country than that as a leader of Gujarath and he hoped this generation of migrants may suffer but definitely it will give way for brighter future for the next generation and in the process if there some dent in the rating of the state in some indices he is least bothered about that and continue to welcome these poor people in to his state. Why you do this disservice your profession to country by wrongly and misleadingly reporting? why you do this injustice to Modi and drag him to controversy. Please stop it for Nations sake.

So,point I am trying to make to all readers of this forum, just Supporting Mr.Modi on Facebook,Media crooks won't be enough. Each one of us has to convince at least 3 people (which I don't think a big task) that how a 'Visionary leader' can help us and especially them to get out of Poverty. We are fortunate that we received good education. And now it's our duty to extend this to all our brothers and sisters all over the country. Please convince at least 3 people in your locality about scams, corruption this govt has done and also what NaMo can bring on table. Then only we can say we are 'Patriots'.
