Burn Down The Mission

(This is a MaxiPost)

"You don't make up for your sins in the church. You do it in the streets. You do it at home. The rest is bullshit and you know it"

That’s a quote from a Catholic man who once wanted to be a priest. One of the silliest ideas ever ingrained into the heads of many humans by other humans is that God is some kind of traffic cop. You know, he’s standing up there in the sky directing dead people to heaven or hell based on their performance on earth. It gets even better when some believe God has long had a “performance-reward system” through which he gives out rewards and awards. Frances Collins, the former Head of the Human Genome project, doesn’t believe in evolution. They all believe in Adam and Eve and the virgin birth. Interestingly, Collins is now Barack Obama’s head of the NIH and controls vast funds for research. You can imagine what a challenge it must be for him to keep his religious beliefs and his scientific work compatible. He’s an individual but he provides the soundest reason why State should never have anything to do with religion. So on April 12 on the ‘Aap ki adalat’ show, on IndiaTV featuring Narendra Modi, a woman’s question got me thinking.

The woman asked Modi if “Christians will be safe under Modi’s govt”. It puzzled Modi as much as it puzzled me. I wonder if the question was tutored because it provided the chance for Rajat Sharma, the host, to ask if Muslims would be safe under a Modi govt. We have seen a lot of Hindu-Muslim conflicts but not many conflicts with Christians. There might be exceptions like Kandhamal but I can’t recall too many other incidents. That’s what brings us to this story. While many Muslim leaders have been opposing Modi and also the BJP for long it is the first time that we are seeing a lot of Christian activity being targeted against Modi. Well, there is indeed a very high organised Christian campaign against Modi. It is no secret that Modi has inspired a lot of Hindu denominations to unite with his leadership. I haven’t seen any torture of Christians in any form in Gujarat under Modi, so for that woman to ask that specific question doesn’t seem an accident. The answer is pretty simple really: The conversion factory of missionaries and the political powers behind them.

The Gujarat govt had made conversions illegal around 2003 and the US imposed a ban on Modi for violating religious freedoms in 2005. For long Modi’s opponents and our media have told the world the US revoking Modi’s visa was about the 2002 riots. That too is a load of BS. A bunch of US Congressmen used the anti-Modi activists as a platform to slap the ban on him but the motivation was clearly the ban on conversions in Gujarat. That had hit the missionary factory badly. The Hindu-Muslim conflict often comes out in the open but the Christian conversion factory is like Diabetes. It does its damage slowly and is largely invisible to the world. Pranay Gupte, a columnist in international pages, writes in Huffpost (though I refer to this particular article, my intention is not to single out Gupte. I use his article only as a sample):

I was born into a devoutly Hindu family in India's commercial capital of Mumbai (then known as Bombay). I studied at a Jesuit school. I attended mostly-Jewish universities in the United States: Brandeis and Columbia. And every Friday in the United Arab Emirates, where I've been living and working for the last seven years, I attend a prayer session at the royal mosque in the capital city of Abu Dhabi with Emirati royalty and everyday workers alike. So what does that make me? A man of many faiths? Yes. A man willing to enter any house of worship for the spiritual peace it induces? Yes. A secular man? Yes.

It makes me, most of all, a man who's proud of having been produced by a 5,000-year-old culture where a staggering number of diverse societies have coexisted over the millennia. I am a man shaped by my parents' sensibility that you can subscribe to many faiths or none at all, but that there needs to be a core to one's self. That core is the belief that no religion is superior to another, that the edicts and teachings of all faiths underscore the values of extending a helping hand to the dispossessed, embracing others with love, and spreading (not proselytizing) the message that charity, good will and good cheer help transform people and their societies into better entities… The polls suggest that, most likely, that government will be led by a man named Narendra Modi, currently the chief minister (the equivalent of chief executive) of the western state of Gujarat. He's a self-styled Hindu fundamentalist, which, in the Indian context, means that his core belief is predicated on the moral and existential superiority of Hinduism.

The above is the school-boyish writing of a man who neither understands religion nor Hinduism. This is the typical westernised Indian columnist who doesn’t know where his marbles are located. He is LYING in his spite for Modi. Hinduism is the only religion whose followers have stated over and over again that one can reach God through multiple paths and therefore through multiple religions. He also doesn’t know that Modi’s govt has demolished many Hindu temples built illegally on public land. He claims he studied in a Jesuit school, Jewish universities and attends Namaz in Abu Dhabi and he claims that makes him a man of multiple faiths. This is the idiotic nonsense most of the Macaulay types peddle. Let me tell you, I as a Hindu in India, go to a temple maybe once in five years for some specific reason. Many Hindus here attend Jesuit schools and universities. They also pray at Ajmer Sharif and Fatehpur Sikri. When these Hindus visit Taj Mahal they offer a silent prayer to Mumtaz Begum. They do so at Humayun’s tomb and Akbar’s tomb as well. So what exactly is Gupte trying to tell us? That Modi will change all that? That is fear-mongering and nothing else and Gupte is paid to do that.

Secondly, although Gupte claims he’s a man of multiple faiths, the preachers of Islam and Christianity do not agree on all religions being equal. Even Gods are jealous Gods it seems. I’m not kidding; it says in the Bible that God is a jealous guy. And because that got written, the middle-men, who often to talk to God on iPhone, constantly interpret it as something secretly noble about their God. You know, God could be angry or kind; He has his moods; that much even I can understand. But why in the world would an all-powerful God be jealous? Preachers of both these religions consistently tell the world their religion is superior to all others. A majority of conflicts and violent events are because of this. In the middle of what I quoted above Gupte says “spreading the message not proselytizing”. This is the problem. Men like Gupte do not acknowledge that Christian conversion factories go beyond preaching to their followers. They induce and seduce the poor with some crumbs. They catch helpless children at a young age to sell religion (read Children as leverage). In the South they even converted little Ganpati. Gupte is not alone; a majority of these sick seculars live in denial of this crime. This is why conversions were banned in Gujarat and it angered a lot of the conversion factory owners. The ban on Modi happened in 2005 when George Bush was the president of US. Bush famously said “God wants everybody to free… and that’s part of my foreign policy” (See NaMo and the truth above US visa). So God even dictates foreign policy and you’d have thought secularism had nothing to do with religion. Didn’t you?

Meet Matt Jones. He’s a Special Agent working for Jesus in an international operation. This is what Jones tweeted on April 4:

Before the tweet above Jones grandly tweeted that the main roads in Dharwad (Karnataka) were blocked because of a huge meeting arranged for local folks with Jesus. He later deleted that tweet so I don’t have it. He then posted this one to show how Jesus saves those rural folks through connectivity. Surely, are we to believe Matt Jones, sitting somewhere in the US or elsewhere, has a particular fondness for Dharwadis? There’s another project that has mapped out spots in India that are in desperate need of connectivity. That’s the Joshua Project which has marked out spots in India in “red” where people need to be “harvested” and connected to Jesus:

Are all of these just a figment of my imagination? Try asking who funds Kejriwal & Co. and why? Why would Ford Foundation be interested in funding political activity in India? There are stories that mass conversions were undertaken in Andhra after YSR Reddy became the CM. I personally know of a friend whose brother is a prominent social activist in AP who was offered 1 crore by YSR’s gang to convert to Christianity. The foreign bimbos writing in newspapers and magazines aren’t the only ones. The following is a recent article from a Hyderabad newspaper:

This fear-mongering and hate-mongering against Modi by Christian organisations in India and from abroad is a well-coordinated action. When have Christians been under attack in India? If anything, the conversion factories have been slowly destroying the demographics of this country through money and other inducements. Why should we tolerate it? Day after day after day we have been seeing “hate-Modi” articles and “fear-mongering” from The Economist, The Guardian, New York Times, Wall Street Journal and other sundry Christian sites. Sonia Gandhi begs Muslim votes through Bukhari but here’s one from Bangalore:

So what’s with all this Christian fear-mongering and appealing in India? And they are the ones who are suffering in India? Recently the US Minority Commission suddenly convened a panel for another round of Modi bashing and Christian fear-mongering. The panel was soundly criticised by a Hindu representative, Tulsi Gabbard, for their attempt to interfere in Indian elections. The evil that this US Panel and many other evangelical US organisations bring to India cannot be overlooked anymore. In the garb of helping the poor there is a lot of covert political activity going on. The so-called “Sickular” writers of Indian origin are no more than a bunch of ignorant morons. Or they are wilfully blind! This unholy conversion factory must be ended. People are free to practice and preach religion to their followers. The proselytizing must end. And on the lines of the Gujarat ban on conversions I would definitely want a national ban on this evil activity. This is what bothers the hate-mongers who are peddling articles against Modi. It is not criticism, it is about protect their jealous God and their covert agenda to break and destroy India.

Even in the old ages the bosses of the Christian faith lived in luxury in their missions. They still do while the ordinary folks suffered. Does anyone really think Jesus would live in the palace at the Vatican? And the call to burn down the mission also comes from the Christian. I have made a small montage with such a song with the hate articles. Watch (4.55 mins).

The Christian agenda is then peddled by hate-mongers in our own MSM who tom-tom each article as a tool for spurious debates. The recent book by Sanjaya Baru on the handling of important files by Sonia Gandhi instead of the PM is a serious issue which the media is pussy-footing under the garb of “political timing”. Baru himself does not answer an important question. SoniaG’s friends are known to have been involved in the Bofors scam. She and her family go abroad and return without anyone knowing or no records of their trips in the public domain. Who is to say there aren’t many foreign forces behind the way she handles those important files? Why does she have any access to those files anyway? She has no authority and the PM is guilty of breach of the Official Secrets Act.

I ask to burn down the mission of many of these charlatans proselytizing but also their agents in our media. It is not in any way to physically burn any mission but to legally end the conversion factory. It is also important to burn down the mission of spurious funding of NGOs in India who are primarily into anti-India activities. This cannot be delayed any longer and I am positive Modi will undertake that task if he becomes PM. That is what scares these hate-mongers. Their political mission is under threat.

  1. In my home state (AP), I saw these activities. Now they reached to a politically strong status that their votes can decide the winner. Even alleged corrupt king like Jagan Reddy can dream of becoming CM due to such COMMUNAL POLARIZATION, which will never be called so by MSM crooks. One more information, the NEWS TRADERS are rampant in southern states.

NDTV, CNN-IBN, ABP-News, all are paid media not only by Sonia Gandhi, but also foreign organizations and governments. 1. You must go looking for it. That is exactly the point this blog makes that its a slow process like diabetes and it kills the native culture slowly without it ever realizing. I studied in a christian missionary, I am sure they slowly play on your minds so that people forget their native culture, practices and finally lean towards christian way of life.. If they don't convert at least their children won't be too far away. Church & Mosques hold huge portions of land in India, they control all the schools, economy, jobs etc..Every time the native culture reacts to this conflict, human rights are used an excuse & sanctions are imposed on India in-order to further the agenda. The only way these activities will be stopped is by people aggressively challenging them intellectually at the places they operate.. I guess we Indians should form teams and aggressively take on these missionaries and ask them tough questions..

    8. Dear atul,

I work in dharwad, Haveri and Davangere area. I have seen conversions happen. The targets are usually poor and down trodden sections. They are offered money to convert and even paid to attend mass and being other friends to mass. They are encouraged to keep their Hindu sounding names as well. This is not conversion by choice but through bribery.

I see such conversions more prominent in slums and rural parts.

    9. In AP silently many people of poor back ground have been systematically converted into Christians. But their names remain the same. So it's very difficult until we ask them. In Christmas time all the poor display the 'star'outside their homes. That time one realize that they been converted. In AP, there is underground anger amomg the well to do Hindus against the YSR regime precisely because of this.

  4. These conversions have reached to such high levels, recently one of my colleagues in my company in US told me that his 19 year old son is in my hometown of Bangalore on a 1.5 years missionary project.. He claims that his Mormon church don't involve in conversions, but who believes this nonsense?. The whole motive of a missionary is to convert people to Christianity.. It's deeply depressing to see poor / gullible fall prey, while their economic status hardly ever improves..Even after converting they remain poor. This is exactly what has happened in Africa, that most of the tribes converted to Christianity have remained poor and are fighting among each other which in turn helps all the vested interests.. This is how Christianity & Islam have destroyed civilizations across the world in last 2000 years...

    1. They ( Christians and Muslims ) have money, have numbers, have power, have influence - and so they use that to peddle and maintain their hegemony. There will come a time soon when even banning conversions may not be possible ( foreign powers will precipitate the same ) . Just as suicide is banned. ( despite Hinduism , Buddhism , Jainism are not averse to this ).

since we Indians multiply like rug rats, celebrate mediocrity , are preoccupied with inanities - we are condemned to pettiness and damned life. This is causation . Might is right. We Indians have fat too long been brainwashed into believing in wrong interpretation of "bhagwad gita" . We believe in fate, Automatic divine justice'.

Its a very well known fact that these missionaries tell the poor that the west is prosperous & if they convert to Christianity, then they will be more prosperous. We should do something to stop this nonsense in India...

We should not expect too much from NAMO Govt too soon. He is well aware of all the anti-India/anti-hindu activities in India & will take necessary action within a span of time. But we should learn to wait & not pressurise him. Otherwise his detractors will get an opportunity to paint him as unable to take tough decisions. He will start weaving his politics to neutralise his opponents on developmental front & only then take opportunity of handling these anti-India / anti-Hindu forces with iron fist. Have Shraddha & Saburi.

agree with you , but Hindus within Hinduism fold are main culprits . They shoot their own even as turn a blind eye to the misdemeanors of others.
Sweden and US have more rapes percentage than India ( for 1000 people ) , yet most Hindus espouse the feminist causes and allow Indian men to presented in bad light and India as a dangerous country.
and one cannot save a religion in which the dominant voices are of weaklings and Macaulay putras.

    8. My parents did not teach me about hindu philosophy. They said their prayers before 'pictures'; but they guided me to say my prayers. I could pray in whatever manner I wanted. I grew up in a muslim dominated country (Malaysia). In those days the malays were not fanatic. I have a friend who converted to Christianity (the rest of her family is still Hindu). I studied in India in a convent. And I remember standing in bus stands being approached by missionaries desperate to spread the 'good word'.
Despite all these inducements something in me cried out that to change one's religion is to deny one's identity. To change one's identity through inducements is a human rights violation. I always knew I was hindu and I would always defend hinduism against whatever nonsense spouted by ignoramuses. This is the problem with hindus. We lack pride in ourselves. We do not need logic to explain ourselves. But today I realise how much of damage had been done by muslim invaders, the british and our horrible intellectuals who have imposed their feelings of shame on us.
Today I realise there is so much to our tradition, such wealth of knowledge we have denied ourselves. So do not ever think that these are just rituals. Explore them for you would find there are very reasons for many of our rituals. Ours is not a written tradition but handed down by practice and word of mouth. So do not write off hinduism. YOU ARE INTELLECTUALLY LAZY IF YOU DO SO!!!

By now a critical pool of Indian public is already aware of Media corruption, but I believe a large segment of Indian public are blissfully ignorant of the great geopolitical games in play which are often strategizeed for a larger timelines 20~30 years. Sadly Christianity has been a social tool with US & western powers for basically reducing political opposition in target countries for economic dominance, and in extreme cases breaking up of countries. Mediacrooks blog has been extremely successful with its goal of exposing Indian corrupt media, i hope your next step would be towards focusing on geopolitical games which is far more threatening for Indian nationhood. :)

  9. 1. Modi in his recent rally has questioned as to why "Ajit Jogi" a chattisgarh congress leader, is treated with kid's gloves. Anybody who has followed Sonia Gandhi and her decisions closely would have realized that most of her inner circle (except for the moron jarardhan trivedi) are either muslims or christians be it antony, margaret alva, Gulam nabi azad, oscar farnandes etc. Perhaps it was a conspiracy with Jogi that ensured all the Hindu Congress leaders from chattisgarh were assassinated.
Inspite of being in Congress, these leaders were opponents of conversion. Ajit jogi perhaps also know the funding secrets of christian missionaries which also fulfill Sonia's coffers.
2.She also handled Jagan with kid's gloves to the extent of making her own party irrelevant in AP. One wonders why so much softness if not for common faith.
3.Her acidic hatred for anything Hindu is borne out of this idea.
4.BJP/RSS have pentrated deeply into the tribal land through vanvasi kalyan melas and have almost curtailed the conversion factories in Chattisgarh, MP, Rajasthan and have become a strategic block for expansion of christianity in India. BJP anti-conversion lobby is itself trying to occupy opposition space of Orissa for the same reason, that eventually BJD is just one more secular party and needs a proper right wing opposition.
5.Most of the south is already lost as there is no BJP presence, anybody who falls below certain income criteria is an easy target for these predators. Nehru's stupid ideology of appeasement has percolated so deep in every party ideology that they do not see this as a danger.
6.Modi is so right that he believes economic resurgence is the only solution to fight many evils (along with conversions) in this country. When the people have enough wherewithal and confidence in improving their lot, they do not resort to such disrespectful conversions to gain few hundred rupees for survival.

While choosing Religion could be an individuals' rights, but organised conversions as the ones propagated by the Xtian Churches, should be banned wholesomely.
And in fact with the anti-conversion laws in place, one should ensure that all the misguided souls are brought back into the Vedic fold again.

    5. Dear Johnpaul,

Please do not give stupid, baseless replies. How would you feel if Christians are converted to hinduism by paying them crores of rupees? Would you still say "conversion happens at heart".

Of course it is a GIVEN that conversion happens at heart. Who is denying that? But please do not sermonize here. If we wanted to convert we also have access to Bible on the net and can read and convert.

The point being made in the blog is that the conversion that happens is by BUYING PEOPLE into Christianity. This is the "harvesting of souls". Missionaries have excel sheets and numbers to convert and they are allotted budgets.

If conversion must happen then should be through genuine debate between the Christian teacher and the Hindu and not by exchange of money. However, the ONLY Christianity that at least india has known is one of faleshood starting right from the myth of St Thomas coming to Kerela in 1st Century and "killed by Brahmin fanatics" and "achieving martyrdom". Dr. Koenraad Elst, himself a Catholic and several others have written extensively about this (use Google). See book Breaking India by Rajiv Malhotra. Even Christian scholars abroad do not believe in St Thomas coming to India and this story is NOT TAUGHT in European schools.

Conversion by calling Hindu gods and goddesses vile and dirty names has been going on in India for centuries. Gandhi and Vivekananda have written extensively about this and fought against this. Please google "missionaries and Gandhi" and "missionaries and Vivekananda".

This is a short sample from the writing of S.R. Goel where he borrows from The Complete Works of Vivekananda:

"What is meant, he (Vivekananda) asked, by those pictures in the school-books for children where the Hindu mother is painted as throwing her children to the crocodiles in the Ganga? The mother is black but the baby is painted white to arouse more sympathy, and get more money. What is meant by those pictures which paint a man burning his wife at a stake with his own hands, so that she becomes a ghost and torments the husband's enemy? What is meant by the pictures of huge cars crushing over human beings? The other day a book was published for children in this country, where one of these gentlemen tells a narrative of his visit to Calcutta. He says he saw a car running over fanatics in the streets of Calcutta. I have heard one gentleman preach in Memphis that in every village of India there is a pond full of the bones of little children. What have the Hindus done to these disciples of Christ that every Christian child is taught to call the Hindus vile, and wretches and the most horrible devils on earth? Part of the Sunday School education for children here consists in teaching them to hate everybody who is not a Christian, and the Hindu especially, so that from their very childhood they may subscribe their pennies to the missions"

for the footnoted references please see: http://voiceofdharma.org/books/hhce/Ch13.htm

If you are a Christian then ask yourself why? Did you read a single Hindu book before you converted? Have you ever meditated even once in your life?

I have read Dhammapada and several texts from Therevada Buddhism and I have also read many an Upanishad as translated by Shri Aurobindo, all this besides reading the Gita of course. I do not see any reason of giving up my Dharma. I can bet you all the billions of $$ that the missionaries have at their disposal -- thanks to the rich Western nations -- THAT YOU HAVE NOT READ A SINGLE HINDU/BUDDHIST BOOK. Now tell me, am I right or am I right?

One day he was talking to me nd suddenly his talk veered towards christ. Then he offered me a cure to my handicap. The solution was that i join the way of christ and he will cure me completely. I gave him a countr offer that wa to tell his jesus if he cures me first then i will join his path myself. And i challenged him about the kind ness nd selfishness of his jesus nd his faith which helps a needy person only in return of sumthing. After that he never came to me again. 8. Dear Prasanth JohnPaul,
The existing anti-conversion bill does not STOP or PREVENT any body from converting to Christainity or Islam. Since , all abrahamic religion issues one way ticket and return ticket is DEATH only , the ones cheated into conversion have no option but to continue following ,hence this law puts into a PROCEDURE only to be followed for any individual wanting to convert. This involves written declaration and affadavit etc regarding your intention to convert. This procedure makes religious-conversion by deceit, threat and payment difficult . Hence the opposition.

  11. There is a lot of discussion over NSA snooping on information. There is wide spread condemnation. But does anyone realize that "confession" breaches the privacy of a person. I think one of the reasons for the power of the church is information in the form of confession. Iam also not sure how would a priest respond if someone confesses to a murder.

Iam given to understand that save for some of the century old churches, the membership is kind of a MLM, where introduction of new recruits fetches decent money for the existing member.

I think the key point in this conversion business is the distinction between belief and allegiance. In a secular democracy the church can propagate belief but it is the compulsion of blind belief on one God, one Path, thereby demanding the allegiance of a person which is dangerous.

  12. Very, very crucial post. My cousins studied in convent schools in Kerala and were forced to attend Mass on Sundays despite being Hindus. Bibles were sent home as gifts and there was some pressure on both to become nuns. All this is done in the garb of spirituality and moral science but the visceral hatred nuns and priests harbour towards Hinduism is revealed only within the walls of the convents and seminaries. Hindus swallow their hurt and anger as the education industry at least in Kerala is firmly in Christian hands. Johnnies come lately like Jehovah's Witnesses n the Pentecostal Church have a free run in Bangalore as a "secular" government conveniently turns a blind eye to their activities The fraudster Benny Hinn was even honoured by the then secular Chief Minister.

  13. Here in this Chinese part of the world too, few of those who exclusively choose not to join the regular "ancestor worshiping" ceremonies, are Christians converts. And they say so proudly. Separation is the first lesson of any Abrahamic thought I suppose.
Being a bit atheistic, for me holding that incense stick and standing with everyone is just fun; but we have a devout Tamil Hindu colleague, he is all involved. He stands in his namaskaram pose, closed eyes, holding that incense with utmost respect. I am sure he recites some Mantra while praying for his ancestors.
The point is, yes a clear demarcation of separation comes with Abrahamic religions. And conversion factory is specially built for that.

in the Chinese world, it is still monetary incentives , acceptance in the western world , progress in career, migration to us / canada/australia - dictate the faith / conversion of Chinese.
in Singapore , most tamilians that converted to Christianity did well in government .
and to use a very crude term - it is fascination with white flesh - that also drives some of these decisions .
Malaysia and Indonesia converted to Islam because their ruling families did so some three hundred years back .
Hindus are now facing the crunch/ heat because of laidback attitude , reservations , preoccupation with inanities , corruption , lack of understanding of Hinduism by Hindus. We know not neither the value of Sri Rama nor the importance of Sri Krishna.

  14. For all those who think christians do conversion to spread their religion, let me tell you this is completely false. I agree christians have the burden to preach how christ have come to the world and died for your sins on the cross and tell others that christ is the only way for salvation. But In this process no one should force someone physically or mentally and I strongly condemn this if somebody is doing this. What I wish to convey is, If a person accepts christ at his heart when he is convinced he is a sinner, the state should provide the freedom for belief. Infact India already have this freedom as this is a secular country. Bottomline, If conversions are not forced then the persons who choose a different belief should not be forced to retain their old belief.

You may be a Christian.. but you also sound naive. Maybe thats the reason you converted in the first place. Even the Christian world does not deny the evil practice of conversions and proselytization. There is a difference between "inducement" and force. If there is no organised conversions happening why exactly is a joker like Matt Jones tweeting about a remote town like Dharwad? Any answers? You also do not reflect great reading or information. Just to give you a minor piece of work.. I suggest you read this... "American Vedas"

Lastly, the anti-conversion does not BAN conversions in total. It just ensures no malpractices are involved. Someone who wants to convert by his own free will can still do so under that law.

I initially always laughed away these conversations until it got onto my nerves. Pls understand these things are done in 2 subtle a manner. Inspite of my bad experiences I still respect ur beliefs however Im no longer as open minded as earlier. I consciously made sure that my child will not study in a christian school though I studied majority of my schooling in such schools. Its only when I got into a non Christian school did I realise that I was so cut off from my culture, its history. One experience I must share is that of a christian lecturer whom I really trusted and confided about my situation during a particularly difficult phase of life. Her approach to comforting was simple, she told me the problem was with the god I believed in. While given her position I didnt react, that was the last time I spoke to her. For me she broke my belief in her. Pls look inwards into whats happening with ur religion. Hinduism has many ills but conversion is hardly the solution

You know what happened in Goa during Xtian inquisition? My ancestors and thousands of others left their home way back in 16th-17th century,Why? Thousands of temples were destroyed and forcible conversion took place.Thousands killed!
If you read the proper history of small state of Goa you'll perhaps understand!
Someday 'church archives' needs to be explored because it was a routine procedure, that the persecutors were mandated to give the 'status quo' to the Church of Portugal through their King! Same with Basel Mission churches too!!
You can very well find out who were your ancestors and why did they convert. Most of the time it was 'luring monetary benefits' or 'superstitions of the society' as a means! Let evangelists dare to convert educated people!

Infact christianity is the religion which is already spread in most of the parts of the world. Moreover this RSS/VHP/BD are more worried about their religion becoming 'Extinct' and resort to violent measures by killing christians and muslims. We have seen this many times. Christianity never teach violence for any reason even if somebody acts against your belief and scriptures. Far from violence, it doesn't even teach us to retaliate violence and teaches us to bear with patience and pray for forgiveness. Ponder over what u say in these lines "I only wish to save a life from eternal hell and give him salvation which only christ can give"..Is it claiming that Christianity gives something no other faith/religion can provide. Is such a statement hurting people of other religions by claiming superiority? Can u ever try asking Muslim to accept christ? what will happen to u then? "Only Christ can Give" ,such statement is against any religion, and that what Ravinar also wants to point. By claiming/enticing people in the name of providing something new, is an offence and should be stopped altogether. Yes, I get the point that it was the proxy power that Sonia Gandhi enjoyed, is the main reason for this rampant conversion in India... But, then, that point could have been told directly...

Aside, you have said umpteen times earlier, that this blog focuses mainly to expose the lies of MSM... Before you start defending, saying, this article is also exposing MSM's incapability to talk on this topic, which I see you barely touch in between... The reference to Baru's book is about whether "foreign" forces acted upon SoniaG in handling many polices based on their agenda. And a public "Book" of real events in politics does constitute media too. So broaden your understanding instead of nitpicking.

Especially the ending paragraphs (I guess you started it (putting more emphasis on last paragraph) from past one year I believe)...

Now, that doesn't mean this blog should become a platform where all sheep just sing in same chorus of "Great Article, Wonderful, Stupendous" and such adjectives right? Diversified thoughts or observations is more important than another sheep in the flock...

While reading the article, and when I landed onto penultimate paragraph that's the first thing that I thought of... Why is the reference to Baru's Book all of a sudden... I didn't get it...

    U can also read this

    2. What is wrong with conversion?

It changes the demographics of the region.

Change in demographics changes power equation.

Religious conversions does not end with only religion. The reason for conversion whether it be fear, incentives or genuine belief, will continue to influence the person’s behaviour in social, political and commercial issues.

Once a critical mass of the population is converted these agents of conversion will raise their heads and start influencing issues of particular region.

      Consider the following scenarios:

Scenario 1: Agitations against nuclear power plants orchestrated by faith organizations which do not have anything to do with running of power plants but who will have an army of converts ready to fight against starting of the plant.

Scenario 2: Faith organizations encouraging you to vote for a particular candidate and influencing the politics of the region.

In both the scenarios one could have garnered support for the cause/candidate without the religious equation.

But the presence of religion just made the job a hundred times easier because of the strong underlying reason (fear/incentives/genuine belief).

It is a mistake to consider that conversions are only to increase the head count of a particular religion.

In fact the foot soldier of the faith organization may genuinely believe that he is helping a poor person by guiding him to the right path and saving the poor soul but the General of the Army knows what he is gaining by this conversion - POWER, POWER AND MORE POWER.

Check the demographic change in Pakistan and Bangladesh in last 50 years. Can this happen without an organized effort from western countries

  26. The problem in the country is that all except Modi/BJP endorse conversions and minority appeasement. So everyone chants in 1 voice alongwith media. This makes a task difficult to implement even though it is the right thing. Need few years of a strong leader like Modi to make this country really Secular.

  27. Thats for writing this article, i want to share my own personal experience in this regard. Yes conversion rate increased by 100% during YSR regime. In 2005 i was traveling in a bus between Tirupathi and Kalahasthi(Famous Shiva temple) when a man in a white dress came and sat beside me. He was just asking me casual questions regarding how often i visit to Tirumala. He suddenly changed the topic and asked me to believe in Jesus.

I was only 19 years old then and i didnt realize the vicious campaign missionaries were running in AP backed by YSR government. I just replied to him what you wrote that Hindus believe all gods are equal and praying for anyone doesnt make much of a difference. He naturally disagreed and started saying bullshit things like material used for idols of Hindu gods is the same as the one used for making doors etc so you are essentially praying to those doors. He also told some of the main pujaris in Tirumala read bible. I asked him to get lost and he left.

In hindsight my response that "hindus believe all gods are equal is wrong" when other religions promote their religion by saying our god is better than yours why should we lie down? To counter these rakshahas we also need to praise Hinduism over Christianity

You would have also heard about the comment made by YSR when he was CM saying why do Hindus need 7 hills in Tirumala? 5 can be taken by Hindus and 2 can be used for christian promotions. He died few days later and his body parts were also not found. So please do not mess with Tirumala

I think his son(Jagan) is going to meet the same fate if he tries to follow his father's steps in the same way. This in a way shld have been a strong message to ppl who think their religion is bigger/smarter than others n promote theirs by destroying Hindus. If YSR would have done the same to a mosque i garantuee he would be shot dead directly after his speech.

agree with you on most points excepting one.
God is neutral and does not interfere unless manifested in some form. One cannot and one should not wait for any divine justice. If one really believes in Hinduism and its cause , then one should strive to make things happen.
I am not just preaching. Was part of the recent case resulting in SC judgement in favor of Chidambaram temple.
so every Hindu worth his faith will have to use every available avenue to restitute and rejenuvate Hinduism back to the pedestal it deserves

  28. One way they are trying to bring Christianity deep into the culture of India is by superimposing its rituals, symbols, and even types of dress on the Hindu forms of the same. Thus, you will see the cross on the lotus, some priests dress in saffron, and some churches have the ambiance of a Hindu temple.

  30. I have often wondered why RSS and other sangh parivar members cannot pose as willing converts and plant themselves in these missionary projects in large numbers. If not anything why not organise a bank of willing hindus and enrich them. They can milk the huge freebies on offer and then after enjoying the benefits return to their mother faith. This is the one of the ways, to drain these organizations of their finances. Moreover the missionaries will turn paranoid and that will stop their free run. In any case the sangh parivar is orgainising numerous Ghar Vapasi ( home coming) projects.Enmass, all those who have enjoyed the fruits can return to their faith. The next batch must take over. One of the most important policy that I was looking forward to in the BJP manifesto was the freeing of temples from govt controlled endowment boards. That would be a major step in reducing the dependence of Hindu poor on these missionaries. Was it NaMo who said that every disaster must looked upon as an opportunity.

They first got him eat beef etc. and also got him married to a reliable convert. So, effectively, there was no chance for him to revert. One family I know had converted when they thought that their ailing son was cured by a priest. Later the ailment came back but don't know whether they reverted!!

  34. Christian missionaries are the worst. they pretend to be all holy and gentle , while all the time scheming about how to reap more souls. Having studied in a missionary school, I know how they play with your minds. First all Indian traditions like applying mehndi are banned in the name of discipline. I was 7 years old, when I was made to stand up in front of the whole class and made to show my hand. It was the most humiliating experience of my life, more so, as i was always an obedient and prize-winning student. Sometimes, I feel students who rebel show more character than those that quietly accept whatever rubbish the school management is thrusting upon them. So for most of my growing up years I stayed totally away from my religion, which was considered "uncool". It was only later when I started working in Bangalore, I re-discovered going to the temple, reading sacred texts etc. I am grateful to the school for imparting good education but not enough to trade in my faith. Its not an even trade. I had to think really hard to convince myself that I was right. Whatever they are offering is no match for my faith, more so, when I derive peace out of it. They are the worst and I sincerely hate them with all my heart. There this feels so good.

  43. If we are under the assumption that Conversion is happening through the funds from western countries, then we are making a grave mistake. In the last 10-15 years local church and missionaries are flush with funds. They have excellent network and unity among them. In fact to make it more precise churches have started funding all the viable business ventures and earning good returns out of it. One example in Tamil Nadu is the Aachi Masala, which has become the no. 1 masala brand in TN. This is promoted by christain guy and over a period of 3-4 years it has grown exponentially. And the unwritten rule among the Christians in TN is that what ever may be the price or quality every Christians has to use Aachi massala only, the name sounds very much like Hindu name, but it is owned by christian guy. And because of the marketing and advertisement now it is the most popular Masala brand in TN earning crores of profit every year. A major portion of the profit goes for conversion related activities. This is just one example I am citing, in Tamil Nadu this is slowly emerging in all the sectors, FMCG, CAPITAL GOODS, RETAILS, ENTERTAINMENT etc.

  44. One of the most important jobs to be done is to make the Hindus proud of their own culture, which is vastly superior to the medieval faiths of Islam and Christianity. Hinduism while based on philosophy rather than faith is also a huge collection of knowledge and wisdom preserved over 1000s of years. Over time, many have added to this vast collection and the knowledge continues to grow and blossom.

Unfortunately those who are lucky enough to be born in this culture think it is great to demean the culture. Lack of pride in one's own origin always manifests itself in lack of pride in oneself and lack of self-confidence.

Perhaps the rise of Modi may help such lost Hindus have some pride in themselves...and a desire to look with and study their own culture.

Their holy books contain hate speech for people who don't believe in their doctrine. India is at a crucial moment in its history. Vote for Modi, who looks the most likely to lead India to its past glory, or vote for other politicians, who will ensure that by the end of the century that Hinduism is wiped out from the subcontinent.

    2. @loki loksabha,
People like you definitely need to first go thru Indian, Hindu scriptures first.
In Mahabharat, the allegiance to nation first is made repeatedly.
There are six formal schools of Hindu Philosophy and these are so vast that these encompass even thoughts which are hitherto not yet widely known.
First one need to understand ones own religion before creating any new religion.
Even Buddhist, jain, Parsi ( fire worship ), Christianity and Islam are but offshoots of Sanatana dharma.
Jesus learnt in India from Hindu teachers ( there is a book called Jesus was in India by a German, read that ); we light diya, they light candles; we have mantras, they have hymns, we worship idols, so too they worship cross and images.
The allah of Islam is but the nirguna Brahman of Sanatana Dharma.

Humans have been creating various variants of sanatana dharma for ages .

and actually very few understand real dharma.
and as many religions and schools of thoughts that get created, more will be the confusion and chaos.

Religion was meant for human redemption; more to ensure that the animal known as human could connect to the divine force.
We have commercialized it for our own selfishness, survival and individual prosperity.

No one imagines that Modi, once he is Prime Minister will start a program against minorities. He in fact I think will be very careful and scrupulous in his dealings with minorities. The problem will be with some, not all his followers, what is called the lunatic fringe, who views any christian, involved in 'conversions' or not, as fair game. I am a committed catholic, I love my God passionately, I have not been associated with any evangelical group, or witnessed the kind of 'conversions' spoken about here. But I had an unnerving experience when i was working in Ahmedabad.I lived in a government bungalow in Ellisbridge, every Christmas we put up our star to commemorate our Lords birth, and every year, sometime in the night, stones were thrown from the road to destroy it.The cost of the star is nothing, but the sheer uneasiness the experience causes is without parallel. Do I say Modi endorses this behavior?ofcourse not. But his coming to power unfortunately will encourage this kind of intimidation from some groups, who, christians legitimately fear , will imagine that their time has come at last.

If your star was stoned just imagine how many rath yatras, ram navmi yatras have been stoned in Gujarat and elsewhere. The stoning of rath yatra, particularly by Muslims, has a long history. So citing incidents can go on and on. As you say, it doesnt translate to mass hatred. Therefore, the extreme warnings by our media is only fear and hate mongering as Ravinar says.

      Dear Kim,

FYI.. Ravinar has proved himself to be an exceptional scholar with a great grip on events and history. Also FYI I dare you to challenge anything he has written. His quotes, his mention of "Jealos God" from bible. Are they his fairy tales. It takes guts to write like him. And it takes guts to challenge him. Challenge with facts against facts he has quoted. You cannot, you only whine like a poor loser.

    3. Good on ravinar. Good on ypu to follow him so faithfuly! So that means you too should endorse anti religious sentiments. I talk of people and nor facts. Christianity good or bad leave it to people to decide. If they decide to convert who r u to stop them or anyone.

    4. @Kim

You come with the most stupid arguments. Ravinar has responded to hate articles in the media. Ask your Christian media to shut up and there would be no need for a response. You say you are not talking of facts, then what are you arguing repeatedly for? It is true that missionaries do convert by tricky methods and spread anti-Hindu propaganda. You expect people to sit and watch? Go tell that to your Padres. Ask them to shut up and stick to preaching in the church then you wont face this problem of reading such articles.

    5. Dear Indian Catholic
When you don't have any answers...resort to lies. Even if there is street fighting among the dogs in Gujarat our MSM will go hystirical and crossing all the limits of lying will term it as communal fight between Hindu and Muslim dogs. Given this scenario if any such incident would have haaped in Gujrat the media would have made a killing out of it. So please don't lie

Atleast we are not ashamed to help them and we do not shun them. Too bad for you, you are more concerned about society and where you stand. I feel sorry for all of you. For the christians who are trying to explain yourselves here. Please dont. Thye do not need an explanation. Keep doing what you do. It is futile to talk to people who will listen to no reason and choose to remain communal pawns. If Gujrat is what you want, appeal to become a seperate country, take your people and live there. I want to see how much you will benefit then. I pity this country if RSS come into power. It will be like going back in time, seeing progress in certain hindu dominated states and living in isolation from the world. There is not much one can say to a hater.......

Madamji...i also got an idea...lots of money comes from foreign isn't it for religious conversion ...my plan is if Modi comes what he should do first is foreign funding should not be stopped instead should open a single account to receive all these funds later should distribute to all communities irrespective of religions...finally it's money just like your community wants it we also want and same money if it's used for government school, govt orphanage, govt old age homes that will be best service for the nation....

    3. First of all anyone has his/her right to practice their religion. Helping others in need is also alright. But the question is what do you expect in return. For e.g. If I'm helping a poor person by giving him/her money and not want anything in return it is pure unadulterated help. On the contrary, if I ask that person to do my work or ask him/her to treat me as a master and spread the word around the locality and create an image, it is not help. It is a commercial transaction.

As regards the fate of the poor people helped, they are not admitted into some high class churches and organize their own congregations. They are also requesting governments for reservation to help uplift them. This means that they have not got what they were promised.

Off late I have started to help people directly instead of going through any organization. I do not want anything in return not even a tax refund (or) name in the donor's list. All I want is the pure unadulterated joy of helping someone with no strings attached.

    4. Well madamji nobody is denying the poor... Want to here facts in W.Bengal there are some missionary school they offer free education to children if you are willing to convert into their religion..... And madam this may be your kind of helping the poor but if you consider yourself as a nationalist or put India first your praiorities would be the money you get from foreign you will use for common cause such as a government school to built up the infrastructure or giving technical help or providing free cloths, fooding etc that may be good for the whole man kind.....and why there should not be standardisation of education here I find some multinational companies prefer convent educated lads means discrimination with government school students... So madam first see inside you how divisive you are then speak about denying poor

  65. Dear Kim,

What you are saying is typically recreated from a Evangelist book of actions. Grow up Baby! I challenge you to prove anything said in this blog till date is ever anti Jesus. You will never find it not because you are illiterate but because you are programmed to think everything which is not taught in church is wrong. Ravinar has rightly pointed out here when he asks a simple question. i.e., Does anyone really think Jesus would live in the palace at the Vatican?

  66. I too live in the Middle East, in various places including the UAE. The story about this guy going to a mosque on Fridays is total bunkum and a big lie - they do not allow non-muslims in a mosque here - unless of course our man has conveniently converted himself into a muslim.
The West media is nervous because they are not ready to digest the fact - which is, after ages India is likely to be ruled by someone who is not going to allow corruption - which means companies a la Bofors will meet a blank wall, and not an 'understanding' government. People sitting in UK (including BBC which I used to think was a neutral, unbiased media) are discussing on TV and writing articles in their portals about the 'dangers' if BJP comes to power. The real danger for them is mostly losing out on crooked ways of profiteering, and of course allowing more proselytizing. In a recent trip to Chennai I noticed all along the coast people have been converted at a price of Rs 5000 (!) each, along with an incentive of Rs. 300 to 500 being paid for attending a Sunday gathering. So are the Middle East media such as the 'Gulf News', never losing a chance to publish photos of the Ghandys time and again, and publishing any article that shows news opposing NaMo.

Fortunately, it is the people actually living in India who would be casting their franchise, and they decide what they want; not the idiots elsewhere.

Missionaries in India: Conversion or Coercion?
Imagine you're poor and living in a rural area. Your child gets sick. You manage to transport her to a hospital or clinic. To your relief, the condition is treatable. But the cost of treatment is not just beyond your means, it's beyond your imagining. However, says the kindly health care worker, you can get the treatment free of charge. All you have to do is renounce the centuries-old traditions of your people and convert to a foreign religion.

Such offers are being made to desperate people in the villages and tribal areas of India.....

  69. This conversion epidemic is present in UK. In the 4years I (hindu) have lived in a large town in Warwickshire/West Midlands, I have been approached by an old white lady to convert. I live in a locality which has considerable muslim population as well. Have also been approached by a middle age muslim guy advising me to visit the mosque! (he said why dont you visit the mosque, we got lot of Manchester United fans). If anyone visits big city like Birmingham, you will find religious guys shouting about whose god is great.
The intellectuals want us to believe in the sh*t that all religions are equal. If so, why there is concept of conversion?

  73. Conversion is the cause of violence between humanity since Abrahamic religions have come into existence. These religions do not believe in humanity because for them human approach is applicable only to believer and non-believer is as good as animal. Their ethics, rules, laws are not for non-believers. Even killing a non-believer is not a crime for them. I am Hindu which is akin to human because for me everyone of any religion is a human. The beauty is, Hinduism is free religion/culture. I can read about Jesus Christ & Prophet Mohammed, revere them but still remain Hindu. I don't know why someone would like to give away such a freedom and be bound to any one religion. Many Christians are saying that they are non-violent. Let us keep all their violence aside but the biggest violence is conversion, there is no physical scar but you kill soul of the person. The biggest worry is that they say that their religious practice makes them convert people so it becomes religious obligation for them whereas a Hindu does not believe in conversion so anybody trying to convert is a sin committed by that religious person. It is my right as a Hindu to stop such a person from this act. As a religious right, would you allow me to do so? If you still want to convert then do so by (1) treating all religions are equal & (2) behaving amongst yourselves, your religion people, so beautifully that others would love to follow your religion. But such is human nature that even if all becomes follower of any one single religion still discontent, strife, pain will always remain.

  74. How earnestly I wish that you had written this article few years back, and I would be made aware of this.
I am a North Indian, and have recently relocated to Andhra Pradesh( now Seemandhra region). I have personally encountered the works of Christian conversion factories.

Unlike the rest of India( haven't been to any other South Indian state), the Christians here are different. They sport common Hindu names like Laxman, Prasad or AppaRao.

    S. Raju may not necessarily be a Srinivas, but could be Solomon Raju. One of the messes I take food in is run by a old woman who struggles to find difference between her older religion and the newly adopted one. She has kept an idol of Christ, and would bow to it just like we do in Hinduism. I do not know whether it's a deliberate ploy by the missionaries to obfuscate the difference between the two religions, and hence bring more and more into their own fold, or maybe ignorance about her newly adopted religion.

  75. I live in a posh locality of Hyderabad. My Spiritual Education & Culture saved the day and life for me one fine day when I was approached by two people from the conversion factory. I pleasantly asked them to sit down in the lobby & asked them a few questions what their purpose was to go home to home. I started with "Thou shall not kill" is one of the commandments in Bible, how come you people assume yourselves as Christians when the basic tenets of compassion are thrown into air by opening big slaughterhouses and killing innocent animals by the lakhs. They were stunned and couldn't answer it. I continued "When you cannot follow the basic rules and regulations laid out by Jesus, how can you claim to be Christians." No doubt the debate became one sided. It became apparent they were losing it altogether in the name of so called religion. It needs a devotee of Lord Krishna to explain about God from any scripture. Rest all is misunderstood just like our Vedas and Puranas have been misunderstood by majority of Hindus. For authentic scriptural references to know about God, one has to approach a pure devotee of the Lord who is not contaminated by the material modes of nature. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was one such pure devotee of the Lord whose works have been widely read and accepted by the modern scientists and philosophers. They conclude the Vedic teachings are the most extensive and exhaustive in explaining the purpose of this material world and it's existence, the law of action and reaction, the soul, the relationship between God and the soul and finally attributes of God himself.

  77. Dear Ravinar, in fact I am a regular reader of your blog & this is after a long enough interval that I am commenting. First of all many heartfelt congratulations for your endeavour to enlighten the vicious practices by evangelists. Its very unfortunate that we Hindus are still sleeping & at the same time shameful on the part of those Christianity flag bearers roaming around saying 'conversion by will & not by force'. I wish Modi after coming to power sets his eyes on how entire northeast turned christian dominant & prepares a sound counter measure plan to restore the identity of population in these areas. Embracing mother religion should be legally assisted & promoted by making required changes in the constitution which is need of the time indeed (writing appears to be on the wall which is why churches are ordering its folks in desperation to vote down BJP). New law should be incorporated wherein "convert" will be under constant scrutiny in terms of his financial status before & after conversion. Any whatsoever kind of help from "evangelical institutions or any such damn organization claiming to be social welfare organization" before & after conversion should be termed illegal attracting frightful penalty towards both parties i.e. conversion machinery & convert.

  79. Conversion is more political than religious. If a western country wants more control over India then they will definitely try to spread Christianity same is with Muslim world. Otherwise, from spiritualism point of view, conversion is very childish. The reasons put forward by missionaries from any religion in favour of conversion are childish too. As the modernization began in the west, some scholars started genuinely questioning Church. Many western scholars, writers got attracted towards Hinduism. Some came here for further study and started defending Hinduism/India in the west as missionaries had created wrong impression about us. Few names I can take are, David Frawley, Koenraad Elst, Michel Danino, Francois Gautier, Sam Harris and many more. Dr. Brian Weiss, a psychiatrist, has done wonderful work in the field of 'Past Life Regression'. He has written beautifully about his experience with PLR. His patients / subjects have revealed many of their previous births. He has written beautiful books about his/patient's experiences of spiritual world which matches so much with the concepts of Hinduism. Incarnation is only & largely well known to Hindus due to their spiritual practices which differ from individual to individual rather than generalized as in established religions. Yet, I will not hesitate to say that a devout christian or a muslim have spiritually awakened through their religion also. Maybe because they followed their religion in true spirit rather than wasting time in converting non-believers.

  80. Mr. Ravinar, no doubt anti-national activities through religious conversion should end. by way of legal procedures. In addition I would like to stress that priests n other gurus at indian temples or somewhere should share life lessons from hindu scriptures with devotees. Just lightening a diya and agarbattis assorting idols with flowers n garlands would not keep people under the fold of sanatana dharma. Also catergorization of humans based on their latent abilities or characteritics i.e. Kshatriyas, Shudras, Brahmins, Vaishyas --is being wrongly interpreted by society.
This wrong misconception needs to be eroded that a person categorized by birth in a particular family.

Whenever I had the opportunity I shared this with Dr Swamy. I believe you are man of influence. Only making laws against these corrupt conversions is going to back fire in many ways. In my opinion, along with such laws torch bearers of hinduism must work to change the current scenario of hinduism and its practices.

  83. This article is a perfect example of the self-defeating argument. It decries Christianity on the same grounds that it defends Hinduism. So, according to the writer, we should now switch loyalties to Hinduism on that account.

If you do accuse Christians of using foreign funding or having a subversive conversion agenda, please look inward and see if the very same thing is not happening in any of the world's religions. I can also accuse Mr. Modi of having a subversive Hindutva agenda and quote plenty of examples, and we can also question from where he got the funds he needed for his election campaign.

If you say that Christians are hate mongers or fear mongers, how are Hindus different? We see in Mr. Modi the very same behaviour that the writer accuses Christians of. It's just a case of your word or mine. Who can objectively and impartially adjudicate between the two?

Keep politics where it should be, and religion where it should be. This article is the one that is fear-mongering and hate-mongering. It is telling you that it is okay when hate-mongering and fear-mongering is done by some religions, but not okay when it is indulged in by others.

On an entirely different note, please get your religious facts right. Have you ever read the Bible and understood it? Or even the Hindu scriptures? The writer of this article has abundantly proved that he has read neither in its entirety, and is just shooting blanks or broadcasting into thin air - boxing with a non-existent enemy.

And please don't think that the gods, whoever they may be, and should they exist, will exonerate anything you say about them which is not true. Yo can mock a human being and get away scot-free, but not so with God, whether you believe in Jesus or in Krishna. So be careful what you spout off about either.

    1. The blog post and numerous comments have given enough references and examples of hidden political motives behind conversion to Christianity. Still if you think what you think then nothing can be done to awaken you. Religion is a private matter. Missionaries who are eager to uplift the poor are most welcome but they should explain why believing in jesus only will make a person rich and believing in krishna will not. Half of Africa has been converted to Chrstianity long back but still they are some of the poorest people on earth. Modi is defending Hinduism and he is very correct in doing that. History shows hinduism has been attacked numerous times and it is people like modi who can defend it. Hindus never force their religion onto others but if someone forces something into hindus then they have every right to defend it. If you have any references where you feel Modi has agenda of suppressing other religion for the rise of Hinduism please share.

    2. As is typical, your post is big on self-righteous sanctimony and small on substance. Only ONE of the belief systems of Christianity and Hinduism demands allegiance to itself at the cost of all others, with crude threats of eternal damnation as a consequence of defiance. If you have a little bit of honesty and insight you can see that such a foundation breeds exactly the kind of subversive and adversarial social tension and outright conflict that Christianity and its exclusivist partner-in-crime Islam has demonstrated time and time again throughout history, supported by various political and religious institutions desperate to increase their army of brainwashed and unpaid employees. So nobody is going to buy the absurd attempt to equate a political cult like Christianity with Hindu philosophy, any more than one could credibly compare an old wooden wheelbarrow with a Rolls Royce.

The absolute simple fact is - lose the attitude, the unbridled contempt and the endless attempts to "harvest souls" at our expense, and Hindus have no reason to fight back. Because any Hindu response is reactive, not proactive. The absolute CORE position is - we DON'T CARE what you believe, as long as you don't force it on us. So stop trying to subvert our civilisation through dishonest missionaries and NGOs, and then have the gall to play victim when you get a reaction.

This has been explained time and time again in various places. However, I rather suspect that this will also be summarily ignored, as always, with another unhealthy dose of misplaced indignation and hypocrisy.
