Poisoning Kids - 2

Please read the first part of “Poisoning Kids” before proceeding, in case you haven’t already read it.

Just before I-Day in August 2016, a school in Allahabad banned the national anthem forcing the principal and a group of teachers to quit. In a previous case, the principal of a Madrasa in Kolkata was beaten up and sacked for teaching students the national anthem. He was beaten up by neighbouring Muslim goons for not being a “proper Muslim” and singing the anthem. The principal had appealed to the “Islamic Govt” of Mamata Banerjee but got no justice. These are reports that came out in the public but we do not know how many such instances in schools do not see the light of the day. My guess is there might be many. Where the subjects of history and civics are concerned, schools have been grounds for poisoning young minds with hatred, contempt for India and prolonged continuation of fake and bogus history.

At an institute where I was recently invited to speak to a student-group I was informed that a senior faculty member objected to my presence and my lecture. The reason given was “he is a right-winger and communal”. It appears that Commie Pigs believe the right to speak or the freedom of expression is purely and solely theirs – to abuse Hindus, to abuse the country, shout anti-national slogans and spread contempt for our democracy. I don’t believe I am a “right winger” but even if I were to be one, what exactly is wrong about that? And how does that make me communal? Only because I am a Hindu and I speak and write about Hindu issues? This is a virus that Commies have spread deep into Indian society and, particularly, Indian education system. Kamlesh Tiwari was jailed in UP for comments against Mohammad but the frequent abuse of Lord Ram or other Hindu icons are secular and fall under FOE. This guy, a former IAS officer, believes he has the right to slap Ram with his slippers:

And the guy justifiably carries the “Gandhi” name and being a former IAS officer you can imagine how deep the rot of anti-Hindu tirade and sentiments run. While ModiSarkar is grappling fairly successfully with many other problems, it turns a blind-eye to this hatred for Hindus. We have had a bunch of nincompoops as HRD ministers who refuse to attend to historic crimes in education and are dancing happily over the discriminatory RTE law.

The most disturbing thing has to be the continuation of the Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT) as part of history in school books. This myth and hoax created by westerners and endorsed and entrenched by our Commies needs urgent correction. This hoax was meant to create an Aryan-Dravidian divide and to justify the Westerners bogus logic that India had been occupied by invading forces for eons. Despite this myth being disproved many times over, the Commies ask “what is the proof AIT is a hoax”? Some reading here, here, and here might help but that is only academic. There are hundreds of other sites based on research that debunk the AIT. While the Commies ask what’s the proof AIT is a hoax, nobody ever asked them what’s the proof that the AIT is fact.

The great scientist Richard Feynman had a great answer to the test of theories. He stated that a theory maybe born out of insight, research or imagination but the next step is testing it and proving it right. And he went to state that merely because a theory is not proved wrong, does not make it right. For a theory to be accepted it must be tested and proved right. The nonsense of AIT has never been tested and has never been proved to be right and, therefore, on that grounds itself it has to be rejected. Even so, researchers have provided abundant evidence that AIT is nonsense created by Westerners and Commies and perpetrated on indigenous Indians to divide them into races.

But now, we have gone on to even worse crimes in schools. Other than banning national anthem or banning “Vande Mataram” kids are being poisoned with extreme nonsense of religious conversion. This from a book in a Kerala school has to horrify parents and sensible people across the board:

Suppose your friend has decided to become a Muslim? What names s/he should acquire? This is the crap being taught in schools? And there are other schools where Bible is now part of the text books in social science. Many schools have become the playgrounds of contempt for Hinduism and Hindus. Girls are punished for sporting a “Bindi” or colleges don’t allow students to celebrate Holi or some Hindu festival. Systematically, Hindu kids are being taught to nurture contempt for their own religion, culture and traditions. And this is further aided by Bollywood crap and TV shows. This has reached alarming proportions and ModiSarkar cannot afford to sleep on it anymore. We have textbooks glorifying unethical characters like Barkha or chapters written by fraud-stars like Teesta Setalvad about the 2002 riots. And there are biographies of Pappu with Q&A on the duffer. Such is the filth and poison being fed to children.

So what is the answer? I believe the following measures are now inevitable:

# We need an Education Minister separate from the HRD ministry. The HRD ministry has proven incompetent and incapable of handling educational issues.
# As it is for movies, there should be a Central Board of School Text Books which should certify publication and use of books in schools – both by private publishers and govt publishers. This cannot be left to NCERT anymore as it is no more than a bunch of Hindu-hating Commies.
# ModiSarkar must find the courage to modify the RTE to eliminate discriminate against Hindus and against schools run by Hindu-management.

Finally, the burden of removing the poison from the heads of young minds falls on the parents. Kids normally put immense trust in their teachers. If a parent corrects a bad spelling or sentence kids even react with “No… my teacher said so and she must be correct”. But Hindu parents must still take interest and ensure their kids learn true Hindu culture and traditions and our great history. Many of our schools glorify Mughal murderers or are “Jesus salesmen” in disguise. Young minds are like sponges that absorb the filth that such schools pour into their heads. Although ModiSarkar has a serious responsibility on its hands, un-poisoning kids can no more be left to govts. Like “Buyers Beware” it is now “Parents Beware”.

  1. Wake up call by Raviji to Modi Govt. While alternative media is doing research and pointing issues it is now govt.'s turn to build the right narrative. It has to be swift, clearly spelt out and done with assertion. Sooner it is done better it is. Madhu Kishwar once said - Congress ensures her supported ideologues in every institution. Modi could not do that. All alternative research is on self funding, time and nationalistic zeal. But cannot be done as a full time job therefore. Institutional set up for right people therefore is needed and also needed to weed out all undesirables.

  6. Modi has identified India as a populous nation with 125 Crore people. His Government does not distinguish the diversity in this secular nation. He is Hindu and he does not hide himself from the fact, as he loses no opportunity to worship which is anybody’s personal choice in a secular country. Hindus consider this country as their “mother land”. Hindus are banefully divided on caste lines and regional lines. The divide is deliberately played well to their advantage by the Congress which is synonymous with the Dynasty which ruled for many decades. Congress bought peace with the Commies with Education as the bait. They played havoc! We need to correct the education and at the earliest. GOI has identified the poor and farmers. It is identified that economic uplift of the people is the paramount goal to address many a malady that plagues our democracy which is young. Just about three years is too short a time to address everything. We need to stand by Modiji to remedy every malady. Jai Bharat!!!

  7. Dear author,Could you please put some light on the statement that Modi regime or the right wingers doesn't have intellectuals, authors and historians in their fold. Is this the reason for any no change in her education policy.

Am insurmountable task! But I love your prescription about a national board for text-books, as the commies can otherwise never be defeated. Keep up the good work bro.

  12. The total education system has failed us?
We shout loud about all diversity, 130 crores population? how does only two national boards justify such population.Gov should come up with few more boards? at present we have no option left other that going with such commie influenced boards. education does not necessary require much infra at present IT era! why not 10 -15 Nat recognized board. As soon as Hindus/ Hindi will get an alternative, the whole commie system will collapse, Its our money that runs these establishments.

  14. Virtual death of Indian languages in missionary schools is the spring board for death of anything connected with Hinduism.Today,no Hindu child can even read a shloka in Sanskrit or in any Indian language.Recently i read that out of 100 Bengali students in Kolkata, just eight were able to write their own names in Bengali script. This is the fate of the proud Bengalis thanks to convent education.Things are much worse in South Indian states.Hate filled people like Kancha Illiah want to obliterate the native languages altogether.Young people from Convent schools cannot tolerate Narendra Modi speaking in Hindi at UN.It is now or never for Hindus.More than the Muslims it is the Christian forces which are extremely dangerous for the Hindu civilisation.

They are free to learn English at school but discourage it at home.

  16. I studied at a CBSE school in Mumbai. When I was in d 1st standard, we had this Catholic teacher who told us that V should go to Church on Sundays as they give chocolates and pizzas.I told my parents that I really wanted to go to a nearby church and they had to convince me that all that was bullshit.I distinctly remember the same teacher once told us that Indians(Hindus) were uncivilised barbarians and whatever development India had witnessed was due to the Britishers. A few parents got pissed off and complained abt her and I never saw her again from 2nd Std onwards. CBSE is filled with such Commie bastards and the books are totally bullshit especially for subjects like Social Studies(SS).Parents should take a proactive approach in their children's education otherwose they will turn out into those JNU type Jholawalas.

  17. Two years ago, my son who was then in Class 7, told me he wanted to convert to either Buddhism or Christianity. When I asked him why, he said he learned in History (ICSE syllabus, Bangalore school) about how Hindus followed caste system which is so very bad and used to torture some people and so, he hated to belong to this religion and that those other religions were religions of peace and equality. This, despite the fact that there has never been a display of such casteist or any other discriminatory behavior in our household or friends circle. I pointed out this latter fact to him and wasn't sure if it registered or was dismissed with the typical disdain of teenage. In the meantime, I continued to provide him opportunities to hear more about our festivals, scriptures etc This year, a few months ago,in a class English test, a question required the students to write a letter to their younger sibling about the importance of studying Indian epics. My son wrote an impromptu letter for his English test that pleased his teacher no end...he wrote, "Ramayana and Mahabharata give you a lot of knowledge, social messages, knowledge about the soul..they will help you to know who "you" are, they will bring a change in you..it is our tradition, we have to maintain it!". This incident taught me the important point that as you, Ravi ji said in another context, "Education is too important to be left to the school syllabus" :-)

Sample of my kid's letter is available here - https://twitter.com/Ranga_anu/status/754943041832493057

    1. Totally agree that education specially about our religion, culture and traditions can't be left to schools. either parents should do it or there should be a support system akin to 'madarsa', 'sunday school'. In fact sanksrit and vedic schools had come up which were in the news a long time back.
Also we should sell our religion to our kids unabashedly --
See we have everything -- monkeys, elephants, all possible animals, firecrackers, effigy burning, paintball fights, kite flying, bonfires, trekking.

    2. For exactly this purpose (of teaching Indian/Hindu values, culture and history to kids), there are some organizations doing wonderful work - two great examples are Chinmaya Mission and Sathya Sai Foundation.
Chinmaya Mission has a children's wing called Balvihar wherein they aim to provide a strong value and culture foundation to children based on Hindu traditions and scriptures. Balvihar classes are conducted for children every week free of charge for 1.5 hours at various places. For more information, contact the nearest Chinmaya Mission centre in your town. [Have a look at chinmayamission.com and chinmayakids.org]. In fact, Chinmaya Mission has a different wing for every age group - children (Balvihar), youth (Chinmaya Yuva Kendra), young adults (Chinmaya Setukari), grown ups (Study groups) and senior citizens (Vanaprastha). That organization is doing sterling service to society and contributing to a Hindu Renaissance and national progress.
Similarly, members of Sathya Sai Foundation also conduct these weekly classes for children - "Bal Vikas" where they impart a solid foundation of values and love for Indian culture and traditions. See https://www.sathyasai.org/. They also have activities for other age groups.
There are other organizations as well - Art of Living Foundations, etc. serving society in similar ways.
Children who are imparted these values early on and who are trained to appreciate our glorious heritage will be so self-confident that no one will be able to convert them to any other religion. In fact, such kids can hold forth when someone questions them about Hinduism.

  19. Great going Anu. I am a dance teacher. i have students from all religions, regions and caste. since its classical dance, and cannot be separated from Hindu, i use this opportunity to make them aware of our rich 'itihaasa' - i never use the term mythology, and give the young minds a context to relate to ( i am in usa). when i was teaching ramayana songs, i would tell them what made a normal human attain the status of God.
This type of context provide 2 things, 1) it instills confidence in hindu kids about our rich culture 2) it enables the kids from other religion not to mock or disrespect hindu.

  20. Apart from teachings in school , I think Central and State Govt exams for Govt. jobs which test GK and current affairs should ask questions more related to Hindu traditions and culture. The syllabus for UPSC can include pro-Hindu topics.

  26. "Finally, the burden of removing the poison from the heads of young minds falls on the parents. "
For parents to do this, they must be knowledgeable enough themselves otherwise they would require help from others. There are some organizations doing wonderful work - Example: Chinmaya Mission founded by the great saint of the 20th century - Swami Chinmayananda. Chinmaya Mission has a children's wing called Balvihar wherein they aim to provide a strong value and culture foundation to children based on Hindu traditions and scriptures. Balvihar classes are conducted without any charges for kids. Visit their websites - chinmayakids.org and chinmayamission.com. They have personality development for the youth too - Chinmaya Yuva Kendra.

There are other organizations as well - Sathya Sai Foundation, Art of Living Foundations, etc. serving society in similar ways.

Parents would do well to send their wards to one of these organizations and reap the benefit. It is all very well to just lament the state of the society. We need to tackle the problem head on - we can start by instilling values and imparting the right knowledge to our kids.

Children who are imparted these values early on and who are trained to appreciate our glorious heritage turn out to be self-confident and culturally rooted adults. Such children neither develop an inferiority complex with regards to their culture and customs, nor do they become arrogant and chauvinistic.
