The End of Track-2 Brokers

There are certain countries with which you can never have peace or friendship. The objective simply has to be to avoid a major military conflict. The recent act of GOI calling off the Secretary level talks with Pakistan is a very welcome one. In January 2013 I wrote the post “No friendship with barbarians” after our Jawans were killed and their bodies mutilated. Pakistan is a country with no honour. I do not see any difference between the ISIS and Pakistan except that the latter’s army wears better clothes. And maybe some Pakis also speak English. I just have to repeat what I wrote at the end of that post again:

I have stated before and say it again; peace with Pakistan is NOT possible. We need not wage war but there is no way a nation from which many have promised a 1000-year Jihad against India can ever be true friends. This is like expecting Iran to become a friend of Israel. Not happening! This sucking up to and molly-coddling Pakistan is just another feature of ‘Muslim vote-bank’ politics by our govt and nothing more. As far as our national interest is concerned Pak has nothing to offer; not even a small safety pin. For all our genuine gestures of goodwill we have only got barbaric acts in return. It’s time to dump this charade”.

Our media tends to forget the past and keep pressing for bogus dialogues with Pak. The reason for this is simple: The process will never reach a clear conclusion but some of our media crooks and some activists get to line their pockets and be beneficiaries of luxury junkets at the goodwill of their Pak masters. When Narendra Modi took over as PM he extended a goodwill gesture to all SAARC Heads and invited them to his swearing-in ceremony. This was extended to Nawaz Sharif too.

That gesture was blindly being read by many in the media as a thaw in relations. A goodwill gesture needs to be reciprocated. India agreed to secretary level talks scheduled on August 25. Instead of reciprocating the goodwill gesture the Pak envoy chose to organise a meeting with Kashmiri separatists on August 18 and 19. The Hurriyat and other separatists in Kashmir are being encouraged by Pak and this is clearly an unnecessary hindrance and hurdle. The Congress started kicking and screaming about it as did our media. They all screamed it was a bad gesture by Pakistan on the eve of scheduled talks. This is not the first time. Former Pak minister Hina Rabbani Khar also met the separatists on her official visit to India in 2011. How the Congis responded to the border-killings in January 2013 can be seen in the tweets of Barkha Dutt and a response to her. Do note the man in charge then was Salman Khurshid who said about the killings “we will absorb, we will analyse” and then take up the matter with Pakistan. The Congis did nothing. One of their ministers (Shashi Tharoor) was moderating a debate between Pak and Indian journalists the next day on “Track-2” diplomacy. So what is out-of-job Salman Khurshid doing now? Here’s the answer:

So this Salman Khurshid who was impotent as the External Affairs Minister realised he could do more with a bunch of media crooks and political pimps in a self-styled “Track-2” diplomacy effort. There’s Barkha Dutt, Sudheendra Kulkarni, Dileep Padgaonkar, Ved Pratap Vaidik (who also met Hafiz Saeed), Salman Khurshid and not in the picture is S. Varadarajan aka Varadabhai. The trip was organised by none other than Manishankar Aiyar, the automated filth generator. So while the Kashmiri separatists want Kashmir to break from India and/or accede to Pakistan these “Track-2” guys are no different from them. They too meet former Pak military personnel and assorted India-haters, who have connections with the ISI, with a mission unknown to the world. Dileep Padgaonkar, the Intellectual Moron, has also played a long innings for Ghulam Nabi Fai, another ISI funded crook. Some of these guys are now lecturing the Modi govt on how to deal with Pak. They are nothing more than brokers who earn their money from both parties to a deal. Why would they want peace? Do these brokers really think they are really helping any cause or are out to do any good? They just like the junkets, luxurious hotels (and other cash or incentives in kind?) in return for peddling the Pak line of dialogue. Varadabhai and another one called Shammy Baweja are upset that the GOI called of the talks over the Pak envoy fiddling with the separatists. Any surprise?

These guys don’t want the govt to work its own way through the troublesome relationship with Pakistan. They want their will to be imposed. The culture of alleged journalists playing the role of brokers and interlocutors started around 1999 and graduated under the Sonia Gandhi govt. It was a govt where NGOs, lobbyists and brokers decided more policies than the Prime Minister and his Cabinet. The change in govt is increasingly making them volatile and angry. Their brokerage and pimping business has come to a grinding halt. On one hand the Modi govt is not offering juicy titbits and gossip to the dead-beat hangers-on. Access journalism has taken a beating. And on the other, Modi doesn’t give two hoots to what the MSM says or thinks. He is quite aware they are irrelevant to the national discourse because people don’t trust the MSM anymore for honest discourse. Almost every observer knows there many prominent media celebs who are “useful idiots” for Pakistan and other anti-national forces. The grapevine is sometimes more reliable than the news and Delhi circles do get a feel of this as this snippet indicates:

The IB knows what observers in the public domain already know. People on Social Media know who these Pak agents in our media are. It has become all too obvious. Some of the spokies and separatists who appeared on Timesnow have their kids studying abroad. One has to wonder where they get all their money from. I don’t think the Kashmiris are fond of these separatists and are pouring money into their coffers. These separatists do not find any acceptance in elections either. So where do they get all their money from? Your guess is as good as mine. The only place they frequently find friends and sympathy is on NDTV and with Barkha Dutt. There cannot and should not be any talks with Pakistan till such time terrorism stops completely. There must be at least a period of one full year without any terrorism or LOC violations. Knowing Pakistan as we do, they cannot survive one month without violating such conditions. An independent writer puts it as bluntly as anyone can do:

Whether it is the separatists or the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits I am quite sure that Narendra Modi will act on it in due course. There are many problems India faces and Pakistan need not be anywhere on our priorities. That failed state has nothing to offer to us. They can keep meeting these separatists and the Track-2 brokers and jokers. We now have a govt we can trust to prioritise national interest than pandering to the interests of these brokers or mollycoddling Pakistan. There is a PM who makes the decisions not some puppet on a string. Pakistan too will get that message sooner than later.

  1. Pimps of pakistan, the news traders, the useful idiots, the automated filth generators, de rudalis, de intellectual morons and de many more names christened and coined by de circumstances de msm variably finds itself in sums up de present condition of Indian Media today. This media jihad has many orchestrators. They perform to de tune of their global jihadi masters.
What de central govt has done by cancelling talks need appreciation from all quarters. It needs guts to say "talk to us or talk to separators". Caught in de wrong foot, de managers from Congress( congress had different managers at different times since 1947, and their sole aim was to loot) said it was a ritual which should have been overlooked. I am sorry, but I don't find ritual an apt word for separatists hobnobbing with Formal Pakistani Agents. The only ritual that de central govt should think of is funeral for these agents and brokers.
The central govt is run by people with strong spine. The days to come will prove this. India is in safe hands. We need to economically boycott some and visually boycott others. Rest, is relax and see one of de best plays played ever by de best players since freedom struggle era.....

    1. The step taken by our government is the most appropriate one.

Yes, after ages, we can breath easy that we are finally free for the first ever time and are in safe hands.

I fervently wish to see all these traitors of the nation listed above are disrobed and paraded proper across the length and breadth of the nation, and thrashed comprehensively before hung unto to death.

  3. Sardar Patel was such a visionary to predict during the partition that Pakistan will be a failed state in the coming years. He wanted all the pro-Pakistan sympathisers out of the joint Indian army and other government quarters and he was glad that they either got thinned out or went over to Pakistan. There are a few commies and pro-Pakss still lingering around in Delhi and with the advent of the second iron man from Gujarat they shall soon be weeded out too. Mouth watering prospect. Hatho mein khujli shuru ho gayi hai.

  4. Perfect and neatly brought out the truth and actual position. "And on the other, Modi doesn’t give two hoots to what the MSM says or thinks. He is quite aware they are irrelevant to the national discourse because people don’t trust the MSM anymore for honest discourse. " - to reach the conclusion that people dont believe MSM - Ravi, you also played a steller role in exposing these crooks. Frankly speaking, I really changed my opinion on MSM after reading your blogs. Nowadays, i hardly watch any MSM . Kudos to you Ravi and continue your service to the nation.

  6. I reckon dalaal culture in Delhi circles is not very surprising. It seems so many politicians/journalists are on pay-rolls of ISI/CIA etc./arms lobby/corporate houses(both national & international) or other pressure groups. It has been so obvious in debates and articles in newspapers, the propaganda regarding FDI retail, WTO, GM crops, nuclear plants, relations with Pak etc.

If our 'outsider' PM do some in-depth fact finding & give the real picture, he would be doing a Yeoman's service to the nation.

  7. The only proactive measure that PM Modi should take regarding Pakistan is stopping the Terr0rists coming from Pakistan to India at any cost, identify & take control of ISI agents in India. Other than this, we need not focus much about Pakistan.

The bigger threat is China, not just militarily, but also in economy and financially too. PM Modi is focussing on strategic partnership with Japan, that is good for India.

  8. Could someone throw some historical perpective on those Hindus who stayed back in Pakistan after partition.Who advised them of a hanky dory future there.?With Nehru at the helm, am sure there must have been a surfiet of pseudo secular liberals who with their skewed vision promised la la land for these poor Hindus. If someone can unearth the plot behind this act, then this would serve as a lifetime warning for those hindus who still tow the line of the psuedo seculars.
BTW C5M managed an interview with one Salil Shetty, who is allegedly the secretary general of the rat snake organisation called Amnesty internationsl. TOI reports the interview where in ominously loaded questions were asked to him and finally he spewed what was expected. Modi to take special care of minorities and follow human rights dharma.

  13. Dear Ravinar,
You say that ' I do not see any difference between the ISIS and Pakistan except that the latter’s army wears better clothes'. I think you seriously do not know the motto of the paki army.
It is in Arabic: Iman, Taqwa, Jihad fi Sabilillah. Literally meaning
A follower of none but Allah, The fear of Allah, Jihad for Allah. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pakistan_Army.} So, they are as they say on 'Bharat Rakshak' forum uniformed jihadis only. Nothing else, nothing less or nothing more. Period

  14. Hard hitting and superb. Esp the line "That failed state has nothing to offer to us" It should be made clear to news traders and their sympathizers. They are not just traders of news, they are traders of nationalism too! Hope they are reading too...

  15. This is precisely what the Narendra Modi government has done, too. It started with cooperation, but in the face of perfidy (ie, encouragement of separatist fundamentalists in J&K), it took the right decision to follow the ‘tit-for-tat’, winning tactic against Pakistan. It is also a warning across the bows to China that this time, things are truly different. It ain’t business as usual, boys and girls. There’s a new kid in town, the good Narendrabhai.

  17. This song by Emelie Sande accurately summarizes what our PM must be thinking about this Great Nation, which I see being echoed by most readers of this blog :

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eFXRQKYFbXE

'You've got the words (light) to change a nation (world) but you're biting your tongue

You've spent a lifetime stuck in silence afraid you'll say something wrong

If no one ever hears it, how we gonna learn your song ?

So come on, come on, come on, come on....'

    Come on India Come on.....

  19. yesterday watched the 'tool'( now in changed hands!) having fits whenever any of the speakers appreciated the govt.action of cancelling the talks. The tool even started scolding the ex-diplomat.wonder on whose pay roll the 'tool' is. Rudali seems to have sensed the impending danger for her considering her tongue-in-cheek occasional positive comments on twitter about NAMO. More dangerous is the white beard(black beard shunted out to gaza duty) boss of Rudali making rare appearances whenever uncle sam's representatives land in India..also wonder why after NAMO took charge Rudali traveled all the way to the end of western hemisphere to interview the wife of ex-president and then again the ex-president when he landed in India.Any NGO-swiss bank fears/cover up?

  22. Totally unsurprisingly, the common man on street understand the futility of any dialogue with pakistan and is welcoming Modi govt's refusal to talk to them. Its only the Intellectual Morons devoid of any common sense who don't seem to get it.

Congress still has not let go of its ego...its so ingrained it their DNA that they decide to disrespect the countrys ruling PM!!
MSM is red faced....imagine if it was raga being cheered this way they would have gone hamming about it for 24/7 next 1 year showcasing their"saviour" chinese gandhi family

  25. Perfectly put.

It is such a treat to watch all the Barkha and Varadabhai types become totally useless and neglected by the present government. There is nothing worse than being inconsequential to these folks with hugely bloated egos!

These guys constantly talk about Pakistan as if it were an equal and important. Moreover, Modi's efforts to bring over other neighbours to India's side, will make Pakistan even more insignificant....nothing more than an irritating pest that needs to be controlled.

Its great that more and more Indians are waking up to the truth of Pakistans dubious ways and the MSM lies.

  26. Hi Ravi - your blog is like a wonderful tonic that generates a lot of positive vibes in a person and and gets him going.I have been thinking for so many years now as to why the Indian government is allowing the Paki guys to talk with these Huriyat hoodlums. If,as affirmed by every MP/Minister/PM of the past -"J&K is an integral part of India" then what the heck are these anti national separatists talking with the Pakis about ? The Indian government appeared absolutely spineless in allowing such talks in the past - I used to cringe in shame whenever I read about these talks. Modi really delivered the masterstroke when he said to the Pakis - "your talks can be with either them or us" - this has thrown a spanner into the works of Pakis and those anti national Huriyat terrorists. Now Pakis are in a catch 22 situation - if they talk with Huriyat then they cannot talk with India - so nothing can be decided - they can only decide the biryani menu with those guys !. If they talk with India then then have to stop talking with Huriyat - this will mean that all the "moral support for the aspirations of Kashmiri people" bullshit has to be given a burial. This will also effectively eliminate the Huriyat from any decision making process. Effectively, India has really gained the upper hand by this decision. I only hope this stand taken by our PM becomes the firm new policy for the GOI and that it does not change after the Kashmir elections.

As for Varadhabhai and Barkha and the other Paki stooges - I am learning (albeit very slowly) to laugh out when I hear then speak. Life is much better - acche din have indeed started arriving !!!

    Good day to you .
