Desperate Measures - Part 1

How am I doing?
You’re doing great. Just roll up your sleeves and deliver your punch lines. The country is just waiting to be taken by storm. Don’t forget to read out the lines that Didi added this morning.

How did I do?
You were simply brilliant. Tharoor says this was the best speech in the country after ‘Tryst with destiny’. That mummy coming in and crying and that poison stuff was absolutely thrilling. Jairam and Mani have called it the “Obama moment” and we have assembled the media who will parrot it. Just see what they had to say.

That ‘poison’ speech by Rahul Gandhi at his coronation as Vice-President of the party on January 20, 2013 was supposedly the peak. If that was his peak, it could only go downhill.

It’s easy to say “power is poison” when you are born into it with a silver spoon. Then there was a flurry of speeches at CII and more hapless ‘victims’ of his speeches. The nation was not only stunned but laughed like never before. India is a river, India is a beehive, India is a computer. There was this “I lost it” moment. Rahul Gandhi was just warming up. The hits just kept on coming. It shifted from Kalawati to Girish the carpenter. Jupiter’s escape velocity, a “complete nonsense” that should be torn and thrown away, people doing yoga and dancing in New York, Bachchan pics in Spain, poverty is a state of mind, you can’t eat airports and roads. The latest was 25000 mosquitoes! And then Dr.Rahul Gandhi wonders “Indian media focuses too much on the noise. I read the morning papers and think to myself why are they writing this stuff”. Poor chap, doesn’t realise that half that noise is about him and his profound statements.

The sycophants in the party, the MSM and assorted clowns on the social media couldn’t stop doing their Wah-Wahs at the moronic utterances of the man. The more RG blundered the more they applauded him. People like Ajay Maken applauded him even when they were publicly humiliated for no reason. Newly appointed sidekicks like Sanjay Jha applauded him even before RG could complete his blunders. Remind of you anyone? Remember that drunkard who was a total moron when it came to poetry? He thought he was a great Shayar and his sycophants couldn’t stop applauding his moronery. Take a look (2.54 mins):

So it takes a venerable man to tell the guy his poetry is dumb and stupid. His advice? Get a woman in your life! So I suppose someone similar in RG’s camp finally told him to get some “Wazan” in his speeches and talk about women in his speeches. Umm… I guess if I were to imagine these venerable people; they would be like Kumar Ketkar, Barkha, Rajdeep or Vinod Mehta or people similar to them. After all, Congress did decide to hire journalists friendly to their camp to help their campaigns.

So once the “Munshiji” told RahulG the secret to speeches, the latter has been talking about his Mother, his Daadi, his Great Grandfather and his Daddy. He talks more and more about the “sacrifices” they made for this country. To that he adds a danger concoction; one is that of the communal party inflaming riots and Muslim youth who are victims are being lured by ISI of Pakistan. After all the song and dance about development and progress the realisation has dawned upon Congress that they really do not have anything to talk about. The NREGAs, the FSBs, the RTIs, the RTEs have failed to generate a connection with people at the rallies. Even if all of those programs in their entirety may not be bad, their delivery has certainly been corrupt and faulty. They have nothing to defend the deep-rooted corruption that the party is a fountainhead of. The only two options left are “fear-mongering” and “emotional victimhood”. The proportion this fear mongering is taking is far too serious to ignore. It has already resulted in certain incidents that are dangerous signals.

When Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated in 1991 the country was shown a younger RahulG who was calm and took the pain of his father’s death in public quite maturely. The images of RG from RajivG’s funeral were of a person who appeared to be bearing his grief privately and not publicly. Times have changed since then. RahulG neither appears to be calm or sensible. He also seems to lack the maturity to carry people with him. His silly utterances can be glossed over but the sudden change in his discourse is certainly not entirely his own.

It should be noted that while this dialogue is being brought forth by RahulG he may not be the brain behind it. Consequently, the ministers and spokies of the Congress have raked up the most useless issues to occupy the media. Mundane nonsense like what Narendra Modi said or didn’t say. Mindless rubbish about the legacy of Sardar Patel or whether Alexander The Moron landed near Ganga or not. The Hindu proactively propped up an issue of Sardar Patel banning RSS and removing the ban with some undertaking of the organisation remaining non-political. This was a “wag the dog” story to distract. How spurious the timing is should be measured by the fact that the RSS ban was before the Constitution and before the first ever elections. Having adopted a Constitution, all the arguments with relation to the ban on RSS become irrelevant simply because nobody or no entity can be stopped from legally participating in politics as long as it’s within the law.

This plant by The Hindu was then backed by some protests by people supposedly from the RSS. Then on October 31 Ajay Maken screamed about the journo behind the article complaining to the Congress which was later denied by her. The earliest hint of this whole scam was when Jairam Ramesh hinted in a TV interview that the election battle was between Congress and RSS. These are desperate times for the Congress. Desperate times call for desperate measures and that is exactly what the party and some of its allies have undertaken. It’s a new warning of the chaos that the country is going to be plunged into. In this series we shall see how these desperate measures are being rolled out.

Happy Diwali!

  1. The rot in the Congress(I) is setting in a frantic pace that hardly anyone would have anticipated. The grand old party seems to loosing not only its voter base, but is also loosing its moral stature [to govern] amongst its opponents and allies [NCP attending the "alleged" third front "mela"]. Its sheer arrogance is displayed whenever they have a press conference or whenever any of their spokespersons utter even a single word in public.

Congress(I) has completely realized that it is falling down the deep abyss and would never recover [arise] from it in the immediate near future. So the new war plan of Congress(I) is to try hard to bring down everyone to its level. This is the interesting strategy the first part of this strategy is that now we are increasingly going to see their spokesperson bringing down the debate based on personal attacks not based on facts but on distortion of facts and misquoting about what Modi says [Alexander-Ganga episode] and the second and the most important part is that they are relying on MSM to deliver the final punch by debating on their created framework [actually its MAYA] The silly debates are all meant to convey one and only one thing that every political party is guilty on all the issues. Very convenient indeed for Congress(I) to try to lower the rising stature of Narendra Modi and BJP to their level Especially Times NOW, CNN-IBN are trying to prove that BJP led NDA is also like Congress(I) led UPA. First the Congress(I) spokesperson make an accusation and then when confronted with a fact based argument they are using these debates to try and prove that all parties are doing the same. Like Ravinar is used to saying "Lie big Detract small".

PS: Sanjay Jha got a fitting reply to this strategy when AAP spokesperson called him a sycophant in the last Times-NOW debate and publicly humiliated him. Sanjay Jha was calling a professor of IIM Benguluru a Right thinking person who is by his association with the right ideology necessarily an evil person. But the esteemed Professor kept quiet to his provocation and AAP spokesperson jumped and started to give it back to Sanjay Jha. It was amusing nonetheless. After that Sanjay Jha was really quiet in the whole debate, a rarity. It shows that not always it is good to ignore such irritants, sometimes it is better to confront them head-on.

  2. Happy Diwali Ravinarji...

I was really surprised with the discussion in MSM about RSS undertaking and all non-sense. The main problem was that Congress men in power (Nehru) wanted to prevent any Hindu Organisation to become a political force. And by hook or crook he wanted to achieve his objectives. The reason given for banning the RSS was "acts of violence involving arson, robbery, dacoity, and murder and have collected illicit arms and ammunition". One thing to be noted is that Golwarlkar Guruji himslef disbanded the RSS in in abidance of the law. Golwalakar Guruji was writing letters after letters to prove these charges. Ultimately when Congress could not prove the charges, they had to lift the ban. But as a face saver to congress, they started this smear campaign of secret undertaking. And this is going on for last 65 years. Where is that secret undertaking? Can somebody produce it? Congress accuses BJP/RSS about Gobels technique, but the real practitioner of this technique is Congress itself. Last 65 years they are carrying out this campaign of non existing RSS undertaking. The parallels can be drawn with last 12 years campaigning against Narendra ModiThe real fascists are Congress, Left and socialists. Another thing they always say that RSS will not enter in the politics. Morons do not want to understand that, that is the restriction imposed by RSS themselves so that they can concentrate on the cultural activities. This was not imposed by any other constitutional body or courts. How on the earth somebody can ban some organization to enter in to politics as long as it is abiding the constitution ?

    1. Saaf baat ye hai. Nehru British ki tarah rule karna chahte the.Jisme koi bhi opposition party na ho. Aur koi bhi unke rule ko challenge na kar sake aur democracy bhi bachi rahe.1947 me RSS bahut badi aur patriotic organization thi. Ye kabhi bhi politics me aa sakti thi. Isliye Gandhi ji ke marne ke baad opportunity ka fayada uthane ke liye RSS ko ban aur badnam kiya gaya. Baaki kam phut dalo raaz karo ki niti ne kar diya. aur usme congress safal bhi rahi. isi vazah se secular aur communal word aaye. muzhe nahi lagta India ko chodkar kahi bhi election secular aur communal par lade jaate ho. ye wahi phut dalo aur raaz karo ki niti hai. last 65 years me BJP ko chhodakar koi bhi badi party itne dino tak congress ko takkar nahi de paayi aur chhote chhote area me simat kar rah gayi. Congress na sirf samaj ko balki opposition party ko bhi divide kar deti hai. Isi wazah se ve 65 saal me se 55 saal tak raaz karti rahi. aur aaz bhi vo yahi karna chahti hai. Muslim tustikaran bhi uska ek hissa hai. MSM ko khareeda ja raha hai. History par gaur kare to upar ki baate prove ho jayegi. Chahe vo charan singh ka time ho ya phir chandrashekhar ka time ho ya phir Gujral ka. congress party inko thode time ke liye support karke opposition ko bikher deti hai aur phir satta me aane ki try karti hai. Hamare dada dadi, papa mummy to hamesha bevkoof bante rahe.. lekin muzhe nahi lagta ki next generation ye baat na samazhti ho. MSM chahe kuch bhi karle ab social media ne ye power humko de di hai ki kaun si news hai aur kaun sa propaganda hai. News channel ke anchor ka biased view apne aap pata lag jaata hai.

    2. The dirty tricks dept of CONgress is an expert at raising such bogey issues in its paid media, hoping to divert attention from the real issues. If you folks discuss these issues so much, it means they are succeeding. Please simply ignore such topics. Instead, keep raising 1984/scams/loots/riots and how Sonia/Rahul/ sonia-parivar are responsible for these. Pay them back in the same coin.

  4. Yet another example of desperation was on view yesterday. One of the KhanChris court jester calling a press conference to run down NaMo.This is the best example of violation of the old adage that those living in glass houses must never throw stones at others.Shamelessly accusing NaMo of not conducting press conferences or media debates when the dynasty itself is notorious for their nocturnal instincts when it comes to public discourse.Asking NaMo to carry a pleasant smiling face when the incumbant PM is world famous for this clay moulded image.Asking the source of funding for NaMo's rallies while being the law minister in the circus.Yet the Media has the stomach to disgest all and pass these nonsense to the so called 'super intelligent' voters.

  6. At the outset, HAPPY DEEPAWALI.
It seems even MSM and sone media personnel have become desparate. Last night RS of CNN screaming why NaMo is going to Patna for consoling victims' family. Why has he not gone to Mazaarnagar or Gujarat riot victims till now and all blah blah. One could see RS's face. He is unfit to be a journalist. He is showing absolute bias towards congress. Off all these lots only AG of Timesnow has some semblance.

    1. Agree with your opinion. Guys like SaGh, RaSa, BaDu, RaKa, KaTh etc(the list is so long and exhaustive) does not deserve to be journalists. They are being paid by the so called Secular parties to run their shows and channels. Such is the heavy bias in these fellows that one should look for the angst and worry on their faces when they publish the opinion polls or cover the mass rallies of NaMo. They are the ones who are giving communal bend to the coming elections. I feel its high time that a PIL may be filed to constraint the content of these channels but you never know, someone from the above list who is considered as a top power broker(courtesy Mira Radia's tapes) may even enter and unsuccessfully try to influence the judicial territory as well.

He appeared calm because he did not open his mouth then. He has now and we can see Buddhu in all his glory. We may all laugh at his speeches if only the consequences were not so disastrous for the nation. All the more reason to ensure NaMo is elected with a solid majority so he can clean up this mess

  8. Huge turn outs at those rallies, social media buzz ,even MSM telecasting those speeches live, scores of endorsements pouring in daily from far and wide, have created this panic.Congress and its cronies now are convinced that they won't be around come May 2014.

  9. Finally Congress confesses that if nothing works out for them they think people can be convinced by emotional blackmails and hiding behind 2002 Gujarat riots. In a way it is better for the country to allow them live in the fool's paradise and be confronted with the harsh reality by 2014. What they don't realise is that people do not care about individual emotions as long as it is not impacting them positively for their livelihood. People want good governance, corrupt free and patriotic politicians who could protect the country from terrorists, better life style, their personal safety in the society they live in and et al., That's why NaMo has been chosen to govern Gujarat consecutively till now despite all the hue and cry Congress and its opportunistic makes nonstop. Thundering words by men of learned length in Congress cannot strike even a single chord with public only through emotional appeals. They may be intelligent but people are not fools. Let Congress function in the same fashion and be damned..

  13. Happy Deepavali Ravinarji,
As usual this is a Superb one. Writing one excellent piece is easy but maintaining it throughout is difficult. And you show your Class in that.
More than anybody its the CONgress which are sure of their defeat. The more the #MediaMafia defends CONgress the more people want to kick UPA out of Power.
How can CONgress try to make things difficult for BJP is through
    1.Make RahulG speak less
2.Desperately try to give life to a 3rd front which is nothing but a Dead body in Rigor Mortis
    3. Maximize minority appeasement & incite communal violence
    4. Make sure the old EVMs used during 2004/2009 are there to be tampered
    5. See also the Maino Moles in BJP are not kicked out
    6. Try some how to implicate Modi in any case even a Traffic signal violation
These things will not happen if India's destiny is good which will make Hindus vote as Vote bank
Looking forward to the next article in this series
May you expose more crooks in media with evidence as before

  14. Time of India while reporting Modi`s speech in Patna termed it as `emotional card' playing. The report started with the words `only days ago Narendra Modi had accused Rahul of playing on emotions to woo voters'. After that it goes on saying that Modi also played the same emotional card. Times of India was not just reporting the programme of Modi. But it is answering the criticism of Modi about the emotional blackmailing of Rahul. Before independence media played useful role in the struggle. After independence the same media became stooge of congress party which is just a carbon copy of British. So if people want to get over this mess they should teach the media people a fitting lesson.

    1. Thats the worrying factor. The news channels, print media and other MSM are so fabricated against NaMo that it really hurts. They exaggerate the story that happened and come with irrelevant and poisonous questions to the Sickulars who in turn try their level best to spew untrue venom on BJP and NaMo. A few days ago, a General Secretary of INC had twitted that is BJP not having any good candidate for PM post and what is Sushma doing. On this, SS twitted that even she feels that the INC General Secretary in context is better candidate than RaGa. Amusingly, these bunch of news reporters went again to Mr. Singh to know his fresh comments post Sushma's tweet and got their afternoon feed. The final turn was of BJP spokesperson, Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi who ridiculed these paid news media while replying bluntly to the reporters as:-"Digvijay ko chalana aapki majboori hogi, Meri nahin". Hats off madam. These so called paid media deserves this bashing!

  16. Desperation can go to any extent -

    i) Congress has already issued a stern message to TV to blackout NaMo. Channels are vary of this order, as NaMo fetches higher TRPs. I think this could likely be challenged in Court.

Going on further, they can -

ii) Help in escape of terrorists and ask them to carry our assassination attempts on Modi.

iii) Falsely try to implicate RSS, BJP and Modi into terrorism and its related blast activities. Bring an Act and get them all arrested and thrown in Jail.

iv) Pass an act and legally forbid any sort of criticizing of Rahul Gandhi's speeches.

    v) Declare India democracy as void and anoint Rahul Gandhi as Sultan ShahenShah Dille ilahi and establish Ghandy Dynastical rule.

Well this can go on as far as mind thinks mischievous. I hope Congress does not get such ideas and show respect to Indian democracy.

What public outburst you saw for delhi rape case and anna's ann shann was just a thrill. I very well knew that it would easily fizzle out. And the same happened. Anna cannot dare to fast anymore, he will neither be shown on msm nor any indian will attend to it.

  17. The sultanate of Delhi and its big list of sycophants intend to continue the status they enjoy eternally, believing in frozen time. Unfortunately, Tavleen Singh is right in saying that Modi is an outsider to Delhi and hence all odds are against him. Khangress on its part, continue to kill all those people who has individuality and popularity so that the family can continue its business, now it is short of real talented people as seen from foul mouthed 2nd & 3rd rank leaders like Doggy vijay singh, Meatish Tiwari, Kaptive Sibal,.....etc.. If any party can keep Khangress away from power for a period of 10 years, surely, it would disintegrate itself. My wishes are for BJP to do the disintegration of Khangress.
