Goody Two Shoes

(This is a MaxiPost)

India and Pakistan aren’t exactly at war but they aren’t “bitter friends” either. Still, if the Army Heads of the two countries ran into each other at some international event or an international meeting of military heads it is natural that they will be cordial and courteous to each other. And they may shake hands too. But what would you think of our Army Chief if he is frequently at parties and functions with his Paki counterpart, laughing, joking and having drinks? You would obviously wonder if the guy is serious about his commitment to the Indian Army and Jawans. It may not be the best judgement but people are often known by the company they keep.  A Shekhar Gupta or Bachi Karkaria in the company of Tarun Tejpal wouldn’t alarm us. They are natural mafia-friends. So why would our media go nuts if Narendra Modi and Nawaz Sharif run into each other at multilateral meets like SAARC or UN? Their obsession with a failed state and its PM can only be “motivated” by forces other than common sense. I believe Pak is a nuisance and hindrance to the progress of SAARC (or to the progress of anything). Let’s read a bit of what TheJaggi has to say:

India needs to downgrade SAARC to a mere talk-shop, and focus instead on bilateral deals with the rest, excluding Pakistan. The only reason SAARC exists is to give the members an appearance of amity; the only reason it cannot be shut down completely is because it gives China an opening to create its own South Asian Forum by excluding India… Pakistan has been a virus in the circuits of SAARC for as long as one can remember. As this NDTV report today (26 November) suggests, in the current summit as many as three agreements - two for improving road and rail connections and a third for integrating the power grids so that SAARC countries can trade in electricity – will be junked as Pakistan has said nein. And Pakistan is placing roadblocks because it wants to force India to start talking and do a deal on Kashmir – which is impossible. Apart from resuming talks without purpose, there is no way to make a deal on Kashmir without further vivisection – which is not acceptable to India”.

Yet, Pak’s “useful idiots” in India like Barkha Dutt, Sudheen Kulkarni, S. Varadarajan & Co and even the high-decibel ranters on TimesNow have reduced every international meet to a Pakistan and Nawaz Sharif chorus. Their juvenile obsession with this Pak nonsense blacks out every other good thing that India may be achieving with other neighbours. There has to be a reason. Some of these “useful idiots” have to be ISI-funded or Fai-fighters:

Even in these comic bursts they aren’t really seeking anything other than to poke holes into the Modi-Sarkar and waiting around the corner for a major gaffe to happen. They were trashing BJP when it was in the Opposition and they are trashing it now when it is the ruling party. Nothing changes. NaMo doesn’t have too many friends in the media (or even in his own party or Opposition). A majority of them are sworn to bitch about him all their lives. They coin terms according to their convenience for veiled and subtle nonsense as this tweet and a response to it shows:

I have added “more” to the tweet above as the word appears to have been missed out. So “Soft separatism” is the new invention. It does not occur to Radiagirl that people can also be absorbed into the mainstream process with the condition of shunning all kinds of separatism. But for her and her media-mafia to thrive, some level of conflict has to exist. This is what Modi-Sarkar has to watch for in the media and I am sure his media cell or whatever is observing this but some of the signals coming from his govt are quite bizarre. There is, however, acknowledgement from some that the media’s out-dated games are not fooling people anymore:

Because the BJP is seen as a party of the Hindutva agenda the media and the Sickulars and their cronies will trash and blow up anything beyond proportions. That’s what they did with the Sadhvi Niranjan episode. After the recent terror-attack in Kashmir in which 11 Jawans were killed Commies like Sitaram Yechury and Rashid Alvi of Congress want Modi Sarkar to start talks with Pak. That is like they want to reward a rapist with a harem. Yechury, member of the #65traitors, says in Parliament “Forget black money, we must bring back PM to India”. As a sarcastic remark that is fine but what do these morons imagine? Let’s see, the BRICS meeting in Brazil was organised by Modi for a joyride? The UNGA was organised by him? The SAARC meeting was organised by him? The ASEAN meet was organised by him? But the anti-India forces will continue to attempt creating untruthful perceptions as they have done for over 60 years. But the BJP has been voted to power, with a clean majority, precisely to change these fake perceptions and do so boldly. They have been voted for change. Decisive change and not Incremental fallacies!

The time for BJP’s ministers and its members to compare their actions or statements on issues with the Congress is over. Congress is the lowest standard of politics and country-management besides being anti-Hindu, a terror-sympathiser and genetically corrupt. And changes need tough decisions. People would be more willing to swallow bitter pills in the first year of a new govt than in the last year. But it seems that everyone from Modi to the last motley minister in the new govt just wants to be “nice”. Or maybe they want to “appear” to be nice to everyone. Just like the Army Chiefs in the first para, it is okay to be cordial and courteous with politicians across the spectrum. After all politicians are a community and need not be enemies. But you cannot frequently sleep with those you should be prosecuting and claim you are bringing change. In particular, politicians cannot be bedmates of media crooks and vice versa. Any journalist who is in bed with politicians is clearly the public’s worst enemy. All the top media celebs have enriched themselves by sleeping with politicians and the establishment. The rouges naturally inspire such cartoons:

If there are BJP ministers or party members blabbering some nonsense every week then there are ministers who go one step further. Arun Jaitley is in some event or forum almost every week. He went on a TV Yatra with his Black Money crap. He then attends a show with P Chidambaram, the guy Jaitley should be prosecuting for various offences (with his son Karthi PC). PC is known as the “friend, father and philosopher” of black money. That’s the company Jaitley keeps. What is the message you’re sending to people? Not just that, he launches a book by a scumbag:

It is alright for a minister to launch a book by anyone – journalist, industrialist or artist. But why would you launch a book by Rajdeep Sardesai, one of the biggest crooks and scumbags in the media? A roll-call of Rajdeep’s significant accomplishments that landed him a Padma Shri by the Congress – Lies about Gujarat 2002, abusing Modi for a decade and abusing the general public along with his partner and being a boot-licker of Congress. Added spice includes – suppressing the Cash4Votes scam on instructions of the Congress, abusing Indians on foreign soil and roughing up a visitor to the PM’s public function in New York. You want to be seen with this scumbag and launch his book? What does it say about your commitment to those who supported you against scoundrels like Rajdeep? Still, a book launch is nothing to scream about but it seems to be a disease with the TV-hugging morons of BJP as this pic shows:

Nothing wrong in Nitin Gadkari sharing a public platform with Prithviraj Chavan but he too wants to be “nice” in launching the book by a scumbag. What is such ass-licking for? No one suggests vendetta or revenge but what are the signals this motley crew of ministers sending out? Every day one of the BJP ministers is on TV with some event or the other. How serious are you about your job? Devendra Phadnavis was hardly CM for a month and the first thing he did was go on a TV Yatra on all the major channels. And he was also busy with media events in his first month with the HT Summit crap with Barkha Dutt. What kind of CM is this? He came with the reputation of a good performer but the moment he is in power he is sending all the signals of a Pappu. Winners get busy with business…. Losers rush to the media”.

Wait! Two ministers launching the same book wasn’t enough. The Johny-come-lately in the Central Cabinet couldn’t resist. Manohar Parrikar too was launching Rajdeep’s book at some LitterFest. Only a failed writer and a failing book would need so many launches over and over again (Rajdeep also had a Patnaik-launch in Odisha). What does it say of a so-called journalist when he wants politicians to launch his book? And what does it say of the politicians when they line up to launch the same book repeatedly? This is nothing but mutual ass-licking of the worst kind. Modi once taunted Sheila Dikshit as a “Ribbon-cutting-CM”. How exactly are his ministers any different? They’re not just busy with ribbon-cutting but these Johnies are cutting the same ribbon over and over again. Parrikar, in particular, cut a sorry figure and attended the silly event on a day that 11 Jawans were killed by terrorists in Kashmir:

It didn’t stop there. Parrikar later made a statement that the fight against terror will continue:

To be continued… ? I am sure Parrikar means well but how is that any different from the statements of the Congis? “Cowardly act, dastardly attack, attack on democracy, India will not bow to terrorists, strongly condemn”… Blah Blah! Statements are fine but people do want to see some action, they are tired of words. Nobody is suggesting go to war or bomb Pakistan. Surely, there must be other ways to retaliate. Stop trade with Pak; evict all Paki squatters from India. Where is the brains trust of BJP with any new idea to combat this menace? This menace has been so chronic that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have an “Anti-terror Ministry” to focus on it. There may be many things being done which may not be available to the public but people do wish to see some action. On TimesNow, the morons keep screaming with a hashtag #IndiaFightsBack. Really? How exactly is India fighting back? 11 Jawans and 9 civilians killed by 6 terrorists. That’s a fightback? A fightback is when a country hits back and pushes terror operators and grinds them to dust. Soldiers dying in “defence” cannot always be a fightback. This jingoism will not help Jawans who keep dying for no reason at the hands of terrorists or Left extremists within India. Modi too praised the dedication of our soldiers but people are asking questions about politicians:

People want change and people want to see a change in public discourse. The BJP spokies are diseased with FEAR. They believe that if they don’t go to silly TV debates their opponents will run away with the issue or score points over them. On the contrary, the more you are seen on TV the more the people’s revulsion for you. And if TV debates held any meaning BJP wouldn’t be in power at the Centre and in the many States they recently won. Choose the debates and appearances carefully. Not all issues need a debate on TV and the BJP ministers and spokies need not feed the nonsense of the media orgasms. This may be a mutual game for politicians and the media but ordinary people do recognise the foolishness:

It’s not just ordinary people on social media; even your humble neighbour-hood Auto-wallah doesn’t miss the point. He reminds himself every minute with a sticker “I hate news channels – Big Liars”:

In a media interaction Arun Shourie says ‘Modi may be an agent of change, but he has to reshape an entire ocean’. A little excerpt from his interaction reads as under:

So the reform has to be much deeper. When people assume office, they forget how deeply the system has to be changed. They get surrounded by an impenetrable fog of self-satisfaction. And media makes the fog more dense. Their photographs are everywhere. The industrialist says you are ‘almighty’s gift to us’. I am told secretaries have started speaking this way. They think change has already come. Our job is to keep them awake”.

In his campaign Modi had stated repeatedly that the difference in the 2014elections was that people not only wanted to throw out a non-performing, corrupt govt but they want the corrupt punished. His govt and his ministers are hardly giving any signs of punishing the corrupt. Nobody is expecting any miracles but at the same time nobody expected the cavalier conduct of Modi’s ministers or their frivolous penchant for the media. Nobody expects Modi Sarkar to be indulging in vendetta but nobody wants the govt to be “nice” to the corrupt.

On a different note, the Opposition agitated in Parliament and Sadhvi Niranjan quickly apologised for her “Haramzada” comment. The Opposition got it too easily without having to agitate some more. The BJP wanted to play the “Nice guys”. Since they got the apology all too easily and tasted blood, the rag-tag Opposition continued to agitate for a censure motion and kept demanding her resignation. They continued the blockade of parliament over the issue. They get the apology and then gloat that the PM is on the “defensive” as does the media. There is no problem with the apology but if you concede too easily then they will want to score even more with their continuing agitation and demands. The stalemate ended with the RS Chairman’s appeal to all MPs to be civil in their language. Absurd drama!

Little Miss Margery Meanwell went through most of her life with one shoe till a rich man gave her a pair. So she went around town telling everyone she now had two shoes. She grew to be a good woman and married a rich widower. She earned the nickname “Goody two shoes”. The BJP had one shoe, the people gave them two. And now they are running all around telling everyone they have a pair. Nobody voted you to be “Goody two shoes”.

Can Javdekar Prevent A Tragedy?

If anything can go wrong, it will go wrong. There are reports that suggest Gopinath Munde could have survived the car crash if he had worn the seat-belt. It was a tragic, avoidable death. Within the day most TV channels had programmes on driving-safety and the use of seat-belts, how to follow traffic rules. These are routine hygiene issues in driving and use of roads. It is how easily we dismiss routines that often costs more lives. (On why “routines” and routine hygiene are important I recommend you read these two posts: Fool’s Secularism and Broken Windows).

Even on flights the most frequent travellers don’t switch off mobiles or wear their seat-belts when required or pull their seat-backs upright despite the signs or announcements. Some crew member has to come and persuade them to do so. Recently two buildings collapsed, one in Delhi and one in Chennai. The Chennai building was a 12-storey high-rise that killed 10 people and injured several others on June 29. Usually, the ones killed are workers who put up temporary residence in the basement or ground-floor of the building or the space around the building. Immediately, HeadlinesToday ran a show on what measures buyers should take before buying a flat. Tips like checking on cement quality, soil tests and so on. How dumb can these people get? Do ordinary folks buying a flat go around checking cement and soil? And how are they supposed to do it? Do they have the expertise? This is essentially the failure of the municipality or the govt in enforcing strict construction laws. It would be fair to expect building and construction inspectors to carry out regular checks and put out notices prominently.

The media loves a tragedy; natural or man-made. Remember how all the media folks gathered on the coast of Orissa and Andhra to report on cyclone Phallin in October 2013? Fortunately, the govts there took precautions and evacuated people and there was no heavy loss of life or damage. That’s a blow to media! The next day all of them had packed up and returned to Delhi with not much of a tragedy to report. That was a great exercise in “preventive action” by govt. There is a need for such a desperate preventive measure in the media to avert a possible tragedy. It’s a question Prakash Javdekar, the new I&B minister, must seriously address. A serious tragedy or death is waiting to happen because of media’s misconduct, particularly from TV reporters. This concerns the hounding of individuals who are either soft targets for media or because their political agenda dictates such intrusions. Take a look at this pic:

The top row has pics of Nitin Gadkari being hounded by reporters in Nagpur. They also hounded him at Delhi and Nagpur airports over an alleged scam. In particular, it involved a 19-part witch-hunt by Arnab Goswami on TimesNow which had nothing but a political agenda to unseat Gadkari as BJP President. NG was pushed and shoved around, he was waylaid when he tried to enter his car, and he was accosted at airports because of the desire of an orgy of violent reporting by the media. Last year Gurunath Meiyappan had reached Mumbai to surrender to the police in the IPL betting scam. TimesNow chased the police vehicle from Mumbai airport to the police station giving a running commentary all through the drive. Yes it was a chase almost like the one seen in the case of OJ Simpson. This is a seriously dangerous trend. Not just that, at the police station the cameramen and reporters jostled and poked mics at Meiyappan in the most uncouth and uncivilised manner. It took half an hour for the police to get out of the vehicle to the building in the complex.

Immediately after he took over, the first announcement that PJ made was that he would discuss 100% FDI in media with the media folks. Enthusiasm! One can understand his enthusiasm to please the media crooks and score some brownie points. PJ perhaps forgets that most of the media is still a bunch of poodles of Sonia Gandhi. The only privacy they respect is that of the Gandhi and Vadra family, everyone else is fair game for them. We have known film actors like Salman Khan and Dharmendra to have assaulted reporters or cameramen for excessive intrusion and harassment. The reporters want to provoke such actions with their hounding to create even more sensation. It is just that most decent people helplessly tolerate this unwarranted intrusion and nonsense. Take a look at these:

On top is the pic of Preity Zinta being hounded. Timesnow even sent a reporter to stalk her house in Los Angeles where Preity travelled after a molestation complaint she had lodged in Mumbai. On her return her car was crowded again by reporters making her life miserable. What is the purpose of all this? Just a few soundbites? Is it impossible to report on any case without such uncivilised behaviour? Is it necessary to push, shove, jostle and shove mics and cameras into people’s faces and vehicles to report? TimesNow is the biggest offender these days. Earlier they had hounded N. Sreenivasan of BCCI so much that they stalked all his houses and even filmed while he was jogging. I have no love lost for Sreenivasan but I certainly don’t think the media has the right to such invasion.

In the second row are pics of Nihalchand Meghwal, a union minister, who has been alleged to be involved in a sexual offence case. An FIR has been registered in the same case in which the investigation against him was closed earlier. A moron called Aditya Raj Kaul hounded him in some place in Rajasthan and grandly claimed they had “located him” as if Nihalchand had gone underground or absconded. I have seen the videos and it was Kaul who was offensive and provoking Nihalchand poking mics into the latter’s face and into his vehicle while the minister kept repeating “no comment, no comment”. Kaul then ranted that he was heckled by the minister’s men. I am surprised they didn’t beat up this idiot because some day such a thrashing is inevitable. Excessive intrusion is as much physical violence as a retaliatory violent action. Who the hell are these reporters? They have a license to hound people? After all this, the moron Aditya Raj Kaul tweeted he was safe as if he was attacked by terrorists. These are the antics they resort to when their target is clearly “political” and has nothing to do with journalism. Did you watch all this, Mr Javdekar?

In the third row are pics of PK Bansal who is alleged to be involved in a scam in the railways. The reporters zoom into his residence and show his “goat sacrifice”. That is perhaps even tolerable. But look at the next pic. The entire uncouth crowd of media has blocked the gates to Bansal’s residence. If the context weren’t mentioned these morons would look like they are protesting or agitating for “Goat rights”. Such is the cheap level to which journalism has fallen. The excessive intrusion is not journalism but Paparazzi behaviour. There is another serious issue where journalists are not being prosecuted and punished for intrusions: sting operations.

One has to remember that phone tapping and recording is illegal. If that is illegal then how are unauthorised sting operations legal? How is it legal to intrude upon a person, induce him or her to some offence and then grandly claim he or she is corrupt or a murderer or rapist? Private sting operations cannot be legal and there should be a law to ban them totally. Many journalists (like in the 2G scam or AR Antulay scam) have found genuine methods to expose corruption and crime. The only cause where stings can be authorised should be when the police or a legal investigating body carries out a sting to seek evidence for an already registered crime. The media cannot claim a license to such actions especially when most of the top editors of the media are corrupt and, if investigated genuinely, most of them would be in jail. Even if the media wants to carry out a sting it must seek prior authorisation by someone like the police commissioner or a suitable authority. Unauthorised sting operations must be made illegal and punishable.

Contrast all the above with the National Herald scam. Not one editor dared to ask any question to Sonia or Rahul Gandhi. Not one joker like Aditya Raj Kaul or Navika Kumar got anywhere near their residences. Not one cameraman filmed activities inside their residences. None of them dared to hound Robert Vadra. The circus clown Arnab did not even dare to call the Gandhis on TV to answer questions which he thinks is his birthright with everyone else. These criminals never know when and where the Gandhis travel, they claim respect for privacy. They don’t know if and what Sonia’s illness is for which she supposedly goes abroad for treatment. Again privacy! Why is it only this dynasty is entitled to privacy? All other citizens are third class citizens? The media has the right to ask questions. Their target has the right not to answer and when someone says “no comment” that should be honourably accepted. Especially in cases where the issue is a crime the target is entitled NOT TO say a word to the media. The target is neither answerable to the media nor is he liable to incriminate himself through soundbites to media, which is what our sensation-seeking media desires.

The media, like I said before, has the right to ask questions but must keep a very safe distance and ask questions honourably. They cannot poke mics at a person or into his vehicle. They can shout their questions from a safe distance of 10 feet. They do not have the right to picket and crowd houses of any individual no matter what the issue. This needs a law that bars them from such intrusion. Princess Diana was killed in such as case. OJ Simpson could very well have ended up in a disaster on the streets. This requires appropriate laws that can prevent a tragedy. Are you prepared to act, Mr Javdekar? Or are you waiting for a tragedy like all other tragedies to start thinking about it? Can you prevent a tragedy?

Return Of The Comedy King

No matter how dirty politics get, there’s always someone to cheer you up.  Since January 30 Anna Hazare is back in action with his agitation and I’m sure everyone remembers his speech at the Jaipur Chintan Shivir of Congress. It’s just that the speech blasting Congress and the govt was delivered and enacted by Rahul Gandhi. It was like another of those regular ‘filmy Rahuls’ emoting on screen from a script. I affectionately call that the ‘Badminton speech’. Let me recap some highlights from that speech. Or on the other hand, why should I expend my words? I will allow the Numero Uno political analyst to do it for us and his tweets on January 20 summarise it quite well:

There! Rajdeep’s tweets say it all. RahulG had Rajdeep ‘hmmm-ing’ all through his speech. It’s hard to tell if Rajdeep was hmmm-ing in delight or pooh-poohing in contempt at RG’s hypocrisy. One will never know the mysterious ways of Rajdeep. Doesn’t matter! If we needed full clarity on the speech all we have to do is turn to our Power-Puff girls from the MSM. They were like teenagers again swooning over the latest Bollywood sensation. Take a look at the tweets of Pallavi Ghosh, Sagarika Ghose and Barkha Dutt.

The first is an embedded reporter with the Congress, the second is a Social Genius and the third is as loquacious an anchor as she likes to call others. Imagine, around 300 journalists were ferried to Jaipur, put up in hotels and dined and wined and they are the ones who claim to bring “news” to you. Normal courtesies like a drink or food after a presser is understandable but a whole sponsored trip? Naturally, some channels were echoing the Congress members’ view that RahulG’s speech was an “Obama moment”. Where in the world will you find such shamelessness? If anything, the badminton speech brought out RahulG as a hollow hypocrite as much as the hypocrites in the MSM. And true to his comic genius, after the speech he disappears and surfaces only to return to his normal comedian role. Once he went back to his comedy our Powder-Puff girls had their mouths and twitter accounts zipped again. The loquacious one quickly moved on to some gentle pencil pushing. Here’s how Barkha Dutt does it in her article in Hindustan Times on February 1 called “With friends like these”. Let’s read a bit.

For political journalists, reporting on the BJP - with its loquacious leaders, open dissent and camp warfare - can often be much more interesting and lively than covering the more tightly-controlled, top-down power structure and exasperatingly opaque style of the Congress. What makes it especially challenging is that in the BJP nothing is necessarily as it seems. Take some statements too literally and you may find yourself on a political tangent”.

Hmm! So nothing is as it seems she says. Why should it be? NDTV doesn’t have any “sources” in the BJP to feed them titbits, like they have “reliable sources” in the Congress? Oh BTW, the gentle ridicule of the loquacious leaders is highly interesting and lively. Right! And the Congress is opaque and exasperating. Somewhat like the Vatican, isn’t it? But hey, who’s your darling, who’s your sweetheart? The one that has no democratic system in the party is acceptable to the MSM. The party that has a president for over a decade without change with members behaving like slaves is acceptable to the MSM. But noooooo! The party that is more democratic like our own noisy democracy and parliament is the one that is at war. If you don’t read the article with a magnifying glass you would miss the gentle scorn. Here’s more:

Just this week, Yashwant Sinha, freshly satisfied with the dramatic, last-minute ouster of Nitin Gadkari…  said to me that if Manmohan Singh could be prime minister then as a bureaucrat with a bent for economics, Sinha, should be seen as someone with the requisite qualifications for the top job as well. But then he went on to argue that it wasn't a curriculum vitae but charisma that would win the day and in that context, there was only one man - Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi - who fits the bill. Now, was Sinha pitching for the Gujarat CM or queering the pitch for him with the remote-controllers in the RSS who are known to dislike Modi's assertion of political autonomy”?

Incidentally, that’s the first time I’m seeing Barkha address Modi as “Gujarat CM Narendra Modi”. (I could be wrong though). Note closely how the “charisma” comment is subtly used to dub Modi as merely “charisma” and nothing more. If Sinha’s statement were to be dissected properly the right thing to tell him would be that he was wrong on that part too, at least where current PM MMS is concerned. To even suggest that ‘charisma’ has anything remotely connected to MMS being PM is like connecting fragrance and great perfumes to a skunk. And then, was Sinha pitching for Modi or queering the pitch? The only one who seems to be queering the pitch here seems to be Barkha and no one else. Where’s the devil? Aha! Barkha could have asked Sinha to clarify the “charisma” bit since she had done the interview. But no! Instead, she dissects her own interview with him to suit her own persuasions. Clever, isn’t that?

As far as Modi is concerned, sure he may have charisma. But more than that, he also has a record of governance and performance. His speeches are backed by sound thinking, political timing and weight, and he possesses great presence of mind. I doubt Barkha can say that about MMS or RahulG. After all, RahulG is the undeclared PM candidate of the Congress. Then Barkha also suggests there are “faultlines” in BJP in her article. Yes, we all know she sees faultlines everywhere. It’s her favourite word. Wasn’t she going to write a book about India’s faultlines too? Wonder what happened to that, maybe double-fault (line)! But our MSM believes in “creationism” rather than the “evolution” they so valiantly attempt. Unfortunately for them RahulG opened his mouth without a script and gave enough proof that he is still work-in-progress. Watch a video of his interaction with students last week (1.49mins, also on Youtube):

Haha! “You’ve gotta stop asking your politicians how they’re gonna do it and start asking yourself how YOU’RE gonna do it because that’s how this country is going to move forward”. Well, nobody told the fearless leader that he is occupying a chair for the exact reason of answering questions from students. But then in the absence of clarity of thinking, this is the answer you get. Evolution! Another student asks him “how one can help tiny tots who can’t write a line about benefits of internet”? To this, our evolutionary leader asks a counter question “how can YOU help them”? The student starts to answer: “As a citizen I can….” And the brilliant RahulG interrupts and says “not as a citizen but as a young Indian”. Voila! There goes the badminton speech! Except for some stray channel the rest skipped reporting this not-so-badminton episode. So, just as RahulG sees two Indias all the time, now he sees two people; Citizens and Young Indians. Woe to the young Indians who aren’t considered citizen by him. I wonder if they will still be able to vote. Then RG gets into a Bimboesque argument with the student to laughter from the entire crowd.

It didn’t stop there. On the “Akash” Tablet, RG went on to say that they should ask questions to the gentleman responsible for it and not him. Yeah! What exactly is RahulG responsible for? That’s what none of our media morons who fall at his feet can tell. That’s the kind of leadership RahulG demonstrates that the Congress and our Powder Puff girls really admire and so deeply love.  I guess our Powder Puff girls can’t see what those young students can see. They really had a good laugh. Someone did say: “Young hearts run free”. Even the late JFK must be rolling in laughter in his grave over his quote being so brutally twisted and tortured.

Like I said in the beginning, no matter how dirty politics might get there is always someone to clown around and cheer you up. Earlier there was Laloo and the likes of him. After his Badminton speech, over which the MSM rolled over like poodles, RahulG has truly returned to being the comedy king. And this is the charismatic PM that our MSM bets on. Who can complain about their intelligence, eh?
