2020 - Dawn of the Hindus

Their powder kegs were being assembled and stocked up for quite a while. All that was needed was ignition. The SC delivered the verdict on Ayodhya irreversibly in favour of Hindus. The SC dismissed about 19 review petitions on Ayodhya in one stroke without as much as a hearing, apart from a chamber evaluation. Muslim thugs like Asad Owaisi screamed in outrage “We are not beggars; we don’t want that 5-acre land”. Although, the same radical keeps begging for reservations and more financial benefits for Muslims. Article 370 junked in August 2019, terrorist sympathisers locked up in Kashmir, Triple Talaq gone. We knew this was coming. The violent riots and arson ignited by Congress and other Sickulars after CAA was not surprising. There were no protests; just riots and arson. The anti-CAA riots showed us all the places where Muslim mobs are holed up and will be used to launch VOD (Violence on demand) by Congis and their sidekicks. These riots were not merely anti-CAA. They were anti-India, anti-Hindus and pro-Islamic.

The 2020 in the title of this post is not just about the new year. They say hindsight has 20-20 vision. 20-20 is a measure of optical vision or the acuity of eye-vision for a person. PM Modi, aided by a tough HM Amit Shah is showing his learning by hindsight. Many decisions were on hold during the first term of ModiSarkar but hindsight has taught him that the toughest decisions are best taken in the first few months or the first year of a term. Thus 370, CAA and other tough decisions are hindsight of the first term but foresight in the second term:
The CAA riots have nothing to do with the Bill or Act itself. It is a raw and violent assertion of Muslim “might” that has long sought to Islamise every institution and policy of India. The arrival of ModiSarkar has stopped that in its devious tracks and that’s what these riots are all about. The crimes of these Muslim mobs are engineered, supported and spawned by the Congress, TMC and other such Sickular parties. And there is one thing that needs mentioning again – no matter what the crimes of Muslims, no matter what the level of their violence, no matter what their anti-India, anti-Hindu slogans, there are politicians and media-criminals who will defend such crimes till their last breath. Just take a look at these Muslim or Chrislamic ladies in the montage; all of them are defending the Muslim violence and expecting the police to tolerate their riots and arson:
The last pic in the montage above is that of a comedian from the Chinese Gandhi family who knows not one damn thing about anything but goes around like she’s the Prima Donna of agitations or saviour of Muslims. In fact, all the faces in the pic are Prima Donnas of Muslim violence. Their hatred for Hindus is intense and their contempt for Modi unparalleled. The Vadri does not deserve anymore security and ModiSarkar would do well to put this uncouth, uncivilised woman into place for all her consistent bad and abusive behaviour. From the time Modi stepped into the Houston rally of NRIs and Americans, this anti-Hindu rant has been more visible. There were protests with placards condemning “Hindutva”. It’s a clever trick devised by Chamelis like Shashi Tharoor. Since abusing and condemning Hinduism doesn’t pay politically anymore, they have latched on to Hindutva as being “different” from Hinduism and Hindus. They protested the Bill Gates award to Modi too. And that had absolutely nothing to do with any politics:

As long as Sonia Gandhi exists along with her two dimwits in India, the covert war against Hindus will continue. It is not the mere “poison” of power that she desperately seeks for her two idiots but her ultimate goal, as dictated by the Vatican, is to marginalise Hindus and depreciate and denude Hindu culture as much as she can. Just imagine if she, instead of Modi, had 303 LS seats. Which is why the new political-assertion of power by Hindus is a new dawn in India. This assertion must continue relentlessly till the likes of Tharoor and the Hindu-hating gang are thrown out of politics; some preferably out of India itself. “The Hindutva movement is anti-Hindu” he says in the pic on the left. Hindus aren’t being fooled anymore and that’s their problem. By what standards of civility are the Vadri or anyone in politics or media defending the violent riots by Muslims? Morons of NDTV like Nidhi claim the right to agitate is a democratic right. Since when did this become a right to destroy property, indulge in arson and particularly abuse a religion? They have no explanation for this but continue to defend the anti-Hindu nature of this violence through moronic arguments that would put their twisted pants to shame:

So, why are all these Topis and Burqinas ranting against Hindutva? Many Hindu houses and shops in UP were attacked by the rioting Muslims. For what? And then they claim all this is against CAA? Laughable clowns! This is not some CAA protest or riots; this is another episode of the continued war against Hindus. And Hindus must not be fooled into believing anything else. Make no mistake, while the Hindus will condemn any crime by their own, the Muslims will stand steadfast with their community no matter how violent and murderous the crime. They stood by Burhan Wani, by Yakub Memon, by Afzal Guru and will continue to do so. Even the unelectable minister Mukhtar Naqvi stands by his Muslims who shout “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Hindustan Murdabad”:

The Meerut SP, Akhilesh Narayan Singh, was kind to ask the treacherous goons to go to Pakistan. I would have preferred to send them elsewhere where they could enjoy their 72 hoors in paradise. Such filth does not belong in India but because they are Muslims, the minister will shed all his pretence of loyalty to country and support such criminals. Hindus must not do business with those who should “Pakistan Zindabad” or “Hindustan Murdabad”. There is another goon who pretends to be “neutral”, who pretends to be a Modi-Bhakt, but all it takes to expose his Islamiyat is the Meerut SP episode. He goes by the name of Zafar Sareshwala. He’s the Gujarat 2002 “victim turned profiteer” by receiving special attention from Modi. He is more proof that Muslims will defend all their crimes, no matter what:

Across the world, people and politicians are slowly learning that these Islamic goons bring nothing of value to their society. All they want is to convert every country and every hamlet into an Islamic ghetto and destroy everything that others have built. These goons contribute almost NOTHING to the societies they live in other than breeding and creating a useless population that they can neither feed itself nor is of any notable value to the country they live in. Ilhan Omar in the US is a prime example of a refugee demonstrating immense hatred for non-Muslim Americans. In the UK too, the Muslim immigrants have become more known for rapes and knifings. In the recent UK elections, Jihadi Jeremy Corbyn got a thrashing of his life for the Labour Party. That’s because he chose to stand with the terrorists, Jihadis and those who attacked the Indian HC and stood by Congress. In contrast, people like Boris Johnson and others have started respecting Hindu values and contributions to their society and, more importantly, their votes. This will be the pattern in Europe and the US too. Just listen to the rants and chants in this video of Muslims. There is nothing anti-CAA about it but everything anti-India (Video: 52 secs):
It starts with chants of “Pakistan Zindabad” from Lucknow. At 0.12 there’s a Muslim who threatens to change the face of Hindustan, burn the whole of India if CAA is implemented and will even destroy “private property” for all this. These are the “peaceful” agitators of morons like Nidhi of NDTV or Saba of Nowhere or Mukhtar Naqvi. And at 0.28 these Muslims demonstrate their English language skills too – with chants of “La Ilaha”. I’m surprised these “English Muslims” didn’t break into “La Ilaha, La Bamba”. And these brainless idiots are supposed to be doing anything for India? Don’t make the mistake of thinking these are stray idiotic voices and rants. These voices are the very strings that Congress and their Sickulars, their media criminals and Pakistan support. The Hindus aren’t in slumber anymore and are well aware of the enemy’s designs to destroy India.

And if that wasn’t enough, hear these women and their La La Land nonsense of Modi ruling because of Taj Mahal or Qutub Minar. Most of these idiots come from families that long lived in “open-air toilets” and now curse Modi. This is the lesson that BJP needs to learn. These abusive, ungrateful creatures will abuse him, abuse BJP and abuse India for eternity. There is no changing their mentality or their culture (Video: 38 secs):

And these lumpen, hate-filled elements who are out on the streets just to prove their Islamiyat are called “peaceful protesters” by some media-criminals and the Sickular parties. Muslim outfits like SDPI and PFI are pointed to as being behind the violence. It is surprising that the GOI has not yet banned FPI while some states are reeling under their violence. The Hindus are quietly watching all this and asserting themselves against these terrorists through legal means. This has gone to such an extent that a Congress member of TN openly calls for the murder of PM Modi:

This Kannan not only calls for the murder of Modi but he also wonders why no Muslim has done it so far. Exactly what the Congress wants – Kill Modi. Attempts have been made in the past, particularly at Gandhi Maidan in Patna in October 2013. There is no doubt the Naxals who are in custody of Maharashtra police have been plotting an assassination of Modi for quite some time. Hindus have overthrown all these anti-Hindu, anti-India criminals through the ballot box or the EVM. The new world is one of technology, intelligence and the impossibility of hiding behind lies and propaganda. Hindus are naturally gifted in technology and intelligence. And they are the ones winning this battle of Good vs Evil. If 2019 marked an end to many vicious laws and Acts, then things will get even better in 2020. In the next 2 years, I foresee a dramatic change in the landscape of Indian politics and it will be the Hindus that will prevail. Celebrate this new dawn.

Happy New Year!

PM's "Crisis Of Confidence" Speech At Iftar Party

On the evening of August 13 at an Iftar party hosted by Ram Vilas Paswan, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh addressed the diners on the eve of our Independence Day. This is the full text of the speech to members of Congress and other secular parties who attended the dinner.

MMS: "Crisis of confidence"
Namaskar on the eve of the 66 th Independence day of this great country! This is a special night for me. Exactly eight years ago, in May 2005, I accepted my appointment as Prime Minister by Smt. Sonia Gandhi. I promised you a PM who is not isolated from the people, who feels your pain, and who shares your dreams and who draws his strength and his wisdom from you.

During the past eight years I've spoken to you on many occasions about national concerns, the energy crisis, reorganizing the government, our nation's economy, and issues of terrorism and especially black money. But over those years the subjects of the speeches, the talks, and the press conferences have become increasingly narrow, focused more and more on what the isolated world of Delhi thinks is important. Gradually, you've heard more and more about what the government thinks or what the government should be doing and less and less about our nation's hopes, our dreams, and our vision of the future.

Few days ago I had planned to speak to you about very important subjects – energy, terrorism, illegal immigration, black money, corruption, scams, quotas, unemployment, farmer suicides, rail accidents, airline crisis, Assam violence and Azad Maidan violence. For the fiftieth time, I had described the urgency of these problems and laid out a series of legislative recommendations to my High Command. But as I was preparing to speak, I began to ask myself the same question that I now know has been troubling many of you. Why have we not been able to get together as a nation to resolve any of these problems?

It's clear that the true problems of our Nation are much deeper -- deeper than kerosene lines or power shortages, deeper even than secularism or recession. And I realize more than ever that as PM I need your help. So I decided to reach out and listen to the voices of India. I invited to the PMO people from almost every segment of our society -- business and labour, teachers and preachers, governors, mayors, and private citizens, all represented by five eminent media personalities. And then I left 7RCR to listen to other Indians, men and women like you.

It has been an extraordinary five days, and I want to share with you what I've heard. First of all, I got a lot of personal advice. Let me quote a few of the typical comments that I wrote down.

This from the Kerala Governor: "Mr. PM, you are not leading this nation -- you're just managing the government. Some of your Cabinet members don't seem loyal. There is not enough discipline among your disciples. Don't talk to us about politics or the mechanics of government, but about an understanding of our common good. Mr.PM, we're in trouble. Talk to us about blood and sweat and tears. If you lead, Mr.PM we will follow."

Many people talked about themselves and about the condition of our nation.

This from a young woman in Panchkula: "I feel so far from government. I feel like ordinary people are excluded from political power”. And this from a young man from Chinchpokli: "Some of us have suffered from recession all our lives. Some people have wasted energy, but others haven't had anything to waste." And this from religious leader of the Church: "No material shortage can touch the important things like God's love for us or our love for one another."

And I like this one particularly from a woman who happens to be the mayor of a small oil rich Assam town: "The big-shots are not the only ones who are important. Remember, you can't sell anything on Dalal Street unless someone digs it up somewhere else first."

This kind of summarized a lot of other statements: "Mr. PM, we are confronted with a moral and a spiritual crisis."

Several of our discussions were on energy, and I have a notebook full of comments and advice. I'll read just a few. "We can't go on consuming 40% more energy than we produce. When we import oil we are also importing inflation plus unemployment. We've got to use what we have. The Middle East has only 5% of the world's energy, but Reliance has 24% of India’s oil." And this is one of the most vivid statements: "Our neck is stretched over the fence and Bangla Desh has a knife."

And the last that I'll read: "When we enter the moral equivalent of war, Mr. PM, don't issue us mobile phones."

These few days confirmed my belief in the decency and the strength and the wisdom of the Indian people, but it also bore out some of my long-standing concerns about our nation's underlying problems. After listening to the Indian people I have been reminded again that all the legislation in the world can't fix what's wrong with India. So, I want to speak to you first about a subject even more serious than energy or inflation. I want to talk to you right now about a fundamental threat to Indian democracy. I do not mean our political and civil liberties. They will endure. And I do not refer to the outward strength of India, a nation that is at peace this morning everywhere in the world, with unmatched economic power and military might.

The threat is nearly invisible in ordinary ways. It is a crisis of confidence. It is a crisis that strikes at the very heart and soul and spirit of our national will. We can see this crisis in the growing doubt about the meaning of our own lives and in the loss of a unity of purpose for our nation. The erosion of our confidence in the future is threatening to destroy the social and the political fabric of India. The confidence that we have always had as a people is not simply some romantic dream or a proverb in a dusty book that we read just on the 15th of August.

It is the idea which founded our nation and has guided our development as a people. Confidence in the future has supported everything else -- public institutions and private enterprise, our own families, and the very Constitution of India. Confidence has defined our course and has served as a link between generations. We've always believed in something called progress. We've always had a faith that the days of our children would be better than our own.

In a nation that was proud of hard work, strong families, close-knit communities, and our faith in Gandhi, too many of us now tend to worship self-indulgence and consumption. Human identity is no longer defined by what one does, but by what one owns. But we've discovered that owning things and consuming things does not satisfy our longing for meaning. We've learned that piling up material goods cannot fill the emptiness of lives which have no confidence or purpose.

The symptoms of this crisis of the Indian spirit are all around us. For the first time in the history of our country a majority of our people believe that the next two years of UPA will be worse than the past eight years. Two-thirds of our people do not even vote. The productivity of Indian workers is actually dropping, and the willingness of Indians to save for the future has fallen below that of all other people in the African world. As you know, there is a growing disrespect for government and for ministers and for schools, the news media, and other institutions. This is not a message of happiness or reassurance, but it is the truth and it is a warning.

We were sure that ours was a nation of the ballot, not the bullet, until the murders of Mahatma Gandhi, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Phoolan Devi. We were taught that our armies were always invincible and our causes were always just, only to suffer the agony of China. We respected the PMO as a place of honour until the shock of Coalgate.

We remember when the phrase "16 anna sach" was an expression of absolute dependability, until five years of inflation began to shrink our rupee and our savings. We believed that our nation's onions were limitless until 2008, when we had to face a growing dependence on Pakistani aid. The people are looking for honest answers, not easy answers; clear leadership, not false claims and evasiveness and politics as usual.

What you see too often in New Delhi and elsewhere around the country is a system of government that seems incapable of action. You see a Congress party twisted and pulled in every direction by hundreds of well-financed and powerful special interests. You see every extreme position defended to the last vote, almost to the last breath by one unyielding group or another. You often see a balanced and a fair approach that demands sacrifice, a little sacrifice from everyone, abandoned like an orphan without support and without friends.

Often you see paralysis and stagnation and drift. You don't like it, and neither do I. What can we do?  First of all, we must face the truth, and then we can change our course. We simply must have faith in each other, faith in our ability to govern ourselves, and faith in the future of this nation. Restoring that faith and that confidence to India is now the most important task we face. It is a true challenge of this generation of Indians.

We've got to stop crying and start sweating, stop talking and start walking, stop cursing and start praying. The strength we need will not come from 10 Janpath, but from every house in India. We ourselves are the same Indians who just this year won our best Olympic medal haul. In little more than seven years we've gone from a position of billion dollar reserves to one in which almost half the dollars we use comes from Dubai, at prices that are going through the roof.

What I have to say to you now about terrorism, illegal immigrants and energy is simple and vitally important.

Point one: I am today setting a clear goal for the terrorism policy of the India. Beginning this moment, this nation will never use more commandos for VIPs than we did in 1977 -- never. From now on, every new addition to our VIP security will be met by the VIPs themselves.
Point two: To ensure that we meet legal immigration targets, I will use my authority to set quotas. I'm announcing now that for 2012-13 and 2013-14, I will forbid the entry into this country of one single illegal immigrant more than my party’s goals allow.
Point three: To give us energy security, I am asking for the most massive peacetime commitment of funds and resources in our nation's history to develop India's own alternative sources of fuel -- from rocks, from water, from dead trees, from unconventional gas, from the moon.
Point four: To make absolutely certain that nothing stands in the way of achieving these goals, I will urge Congress to create a high-powered board which, like the Waqf Board, will have the responsibility and authority to cut through the red tape, the delays, and the endless roadblocks to completing key projects.

Our nation must be fair to the poorest among us, so we will increase aid to needy Indians to cope with rising energy prices. We often think of conservation only in terms of sacrifice. In fact, it is the most painless and immediate way of rebuilding our nation's strength. Every watt of power each one of us saves is a new form of production. It gives us more freedom, more confidence, that much more control over our own lives.

You know we can do it. We have the natural resources. We have more money in Swiss Banks alone than several Pakistans. We have more coal than any nation on Earth. We have the world's highest level of technology. We have the most skilled work force, with innovative genius, and I firmly believe that we have the national will to win this war.

I do not promise you that this struggle for freedom will be easy. I do not promise a quick way out of our nation's problems, when the truth is that the only way out is an all-out effort. What I do promise you is that I will lead our fight, and I will enforce fairness in our struggle, and I will ensure honesty. And above all, I will act and I will speak more often.

I will continue to travel this country, to hear the people of India. You can help me to develop a national agenda for the 2020s. I will listen and I will act. We will act together. These were the promises I made three years ago, and I intend to keep them. Little by little we can and we must rebuild our confidence. We can spend until we empty our treasuries, and we may summon all the wonders of science. But we can succeed only if we tap our greatest resources -- India's mines and spectrum, India's secular values, and India's confidence. I have seen the strength of India in the inexhaustible resources of our people. In the days to come, let us renew that strength in the struggle for a secure nation.

In closing, let me say this: I will do my best, but I will not do it alone. Let your voice be heard. Whenever you have a chance, say something good about our neighbours. With Soniaji’s help and for the sake of our nation, it is time for us to join hands in India. Let us commit ourselves together to a rebirth of the Indian spirit. Working together with our common faith we cannot fail.

Thank you and wish you a Happy Independence Day in advance.

Note: This is a work of fiction and imagination. The speech is rephrased/parodied from the 'Crisis of Confidence' speech by former US president Jimmy Carter which can be read here.

"Don't Worry, Relax"! Rahul G Understands Terror

"I understand terrorism... it has killed my father, my grandmother. I am no stranger to it." That’s what Rahul Gandhi stated at Gorakhpur on July 21 as reported by NDTV.

I must admit when Rajiv Gandhi became Prime Minister I was a big admirer of his. His “clean” image held out a great promise. All that came to nothing when he first killed the SC’s Shah Bano judgement and then Bofors brought him down. Bofors coupled with the Italian connections in the background brought Rajiv down. Rajiv’s Italian connections destroyed him through Bofors. Now the Italian connection is destroying India itself. In contrast Rahul Gandhi, at an older age, neither comes across as “clean” nor half as bright as his father. I do recall the funeral of Rajiv Gandhi and watching Sonia, Priyanka and Rahul, I had nothing but sympathy for them apart from the anger at seeing a former and would-be PM being assassinated by an LTTE suicide bomber. The killing of Indira Gandhi was worse because I saw it as an attack on our nation. She was in office and was killed by people she trusted her life with, her own bodyguards. In both cases these were highly protected individuals unlike the helpless and unprotected innocent ones who are slaughtered in terrorist attacks. Can you tell the difference, RG?

So I can sense Rahul Gandhi’s loss. It’s our nation’s loss too. But does that mean he really understands terrorism? For a start there are certain features to terrorism that are different from pre-meditated murder of a person or targeted assassination of a political leader. Can RG tell the difference? In case of Indira Gandhi the Sikh bodyguards were kept on despite advice to the contrary by security heads. Indira, as a right-thinking PM, didn’t discriminate against the Sikh guards. Rajiv Gandhi, despite advice from his security personnel, allowed the lone suicide bomber to get close and kneel in front of him out of respect. The outcome was a national tragedy. Lately, is Rahul Gandhi not accused of flouting security norms frequently? In both cases the incidents are different from “terrorism” as we know it. Someone should tell Rahul Gandhi that.

Anyway, RG has done a discover India tour but it doesn’t look like he reads too much or understands history. That is why I doubt he really understands anything other than making populist statements or tutored statements, let alone understand something as complex and serious as terrorism.

I wonder if Rahul Gandhi has ever read the Jain Commission report. This commission was set up to inquire into the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi. The inquiry was started in 1991 and the report submitted in 1997. Some of its contents reported in November 1997 by India Today, here and here, may help in educating Rahul Gandhi. Here are some excerpts from India Today (in blue):

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi and his DMK responsible for abetting Rajiv Gandhi's murderers. Also blamed are two former prime ministers, V.P. Singh and Chandra Shekhar, for their laxity in assessing the threat to Rajiv

The report has made uncharitable remarks about Finance Minister P. Chidambaram, criticising him for supping with the devil in the cause of political expediency.

The report is replete with examples of the DMK's proximity to the leaders of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Ealam (LTTE), whose cadres killed Rajiv…..

"They (LTTE) sent personal emissaries to Karunanidhi for seeking his active support in their battle against the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF). These overtures of the LTTE towards the DMK started a chain of events which led to LTTE's survival and growth in Tamil Nadu even after the attitude of the Government of India had changed towards the LTTE after the hostilities between the IPKF and LTTE in Sri Lanka.'' The Jain report also concludes that the LTTE "was getting its supplies, including arms, ammunition, explosives, fuel and other essential items for its war against the IPKF from Tamil Nadu.

The report emphasises the political antagonism between the DMK government in the state and the Rajiv Gandhi government at the Centre. Karunanidhi took over as chief minister in January 1989 after his party's decisive victory over the Congress and the AIADMK. According to the report, 1989 signified "the perpetuation of the general political trend of indulging the Tamil militants on Indian soil and tolerance of their wide-ranging criminal and anti-national activities ... LTTE activities of arms smuggling, abduction of Indian citizens and officials and intimidation of the law enforcement machinery were tolerated". Citing the brutal murder of EPRLF leader K. Padmanabha, along with 15 others in Madras on June 19, 1990, Jain has resurrected memories of "the impunity with which the LTTE could operate in India"

For example, Kasi Anandan, a senior member of the 10-member central committee of the LTTE's political wing, admitted in his deposition on September 11, 1996, that "the LTTE had very friendly relations with Karunanidhi. In the days of Karunanidhi as CM, movement of LTTE was more free. Local administration was also friendly in Tamil Nadu"

The evidence against the Karunanidhi Government appears to be quite damning, particularly since the commission has been rather dismissive of the DMK's protestations of innocence. Deposing before the commission on January 17 this year, Karunanidhi asserted: "I had supported the LTTE along with other parties, but after the murder of Padmanabha, I withdrew my support." Jain is, however, disinclined to accept this denial: "It cannot be found that after June 19, 1990, the DMK government in Tamil Nadu gave no support to the LTTE."

Given Sonia Gandhi's divine status in the party, it is certain Congressmen will delight in competitive DMK-bashing, if only to impress 10 Janpath. There is the possibility that G.K. Moopanar's Tamil Maanila Congress (TMC) will see the report as an excuse to detach itself from the DMK. Even so, the TMC will have to suffer the embarrassment of Jain's strictures against Chidambaram.

It may be stated that Chidambaram was there in the government of P.V. Narasimha Rao and besides that, he was also given additional charge relating to matters connected with the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi ... It was expected from P. Chidambaram that he would place all material and adduce all ... evidence with regard to the facts and accusations mentioned and levelled by him in his speech ... on 25.2.1991 ... Why he did not choose to act, is best known to him.

Congress functionaries, including the local Lok Sabha candidate Maragatham Chandrashekhar, had, said Verma, been party to a security lapse. The Congress workers "exhibited a total lack of awareness of their obligation to co-operate with the police force ... and their intransigence created impediments in effective access control, necessary for Rajiv's security". The Congress ignored recommendations to initiate disciplinary action against them.

It’s a pretty damning report against the DMK and also against P. Chidambaram. What is amazing is that the report suggests that the then DMK government had actually supported LTTE against our own forces (IPKF). Now, the same DMK is a coalition partner with Congress. The very same P. Chidambaram is the Home Minister. How do you explain that Rahul Gandhi? Understanding terror also requires a strong principled policy and stand against it. In the case of Rajiv Gandhi, despite the Jain Commission report,  not a single person from DMK or any other political LTTE-sympathiser has been prosecuted. Thirteen years later the DMK as Congress partner was rewarded with key ministries. The outcome? Outrageous loot of the nation through various scams, particularly in the telecom sector. Well, shall we say “coalition compulsions” can wipe out even the deadliest sins?

So by all evidence RG not only doesn’t really understand terrorism but the report at NDTV further states:  The Congress General Secretary referred to December 1999 when the BJP was in power and freed three terrorists in exchange for 178 passengers who had been taken hostage on flight IC-814 from Kathmandu to Delhi. Among those released from prison was Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Maulana Mazood Azhar. "They released the terrorists. With folded hands, they freed the biggest terrorists in our prison……That man then went on to plan 26/11. And these people are trying to teach us about how to tackle terrorism. We don't bow down before anyone." Well, someone has to tell RG that the more he opens his mouth the more ignorance he displays. The 26/11 attacks are attributed to LeT and other individuals and not the ones released in 1999. But never mind that, there is something more important.

I would like to hear from Rahul Gandhi, or any Congress member who keep harping on the Kandahar issue, what exactly he would have done if he were PM and were handling the Kandahar hijack. If RG really comes up with an answer to that question then it would reflect his policy thinking on terrorism and show us how much he really understands terrorism. You never know, given our "intelligence", it could happen all over again. Of course, our friendly-fire media, will never ask RG that question. Till then we will have to contend with the bullshit of “intelligence” by the Home Minister, RG’s crap about “99% and using Kandahar as a defence and excuse for an absence of policy or action on prevention of terrorism. Innocent men, women and children being killed through acts of terrorism are quite different from targeted political assassinations.

The security personnel around Rajiv Gandhi advised him against allowing that LTTE woman close to garland him. Rajiv’s famous last words were “Don’t worry, relax”! He paid with his life for it. Now his son is saying he “understands” terror almost telling the whole nation don’t worry, relax!
