Indian MSM - The First Line Of Defence For The Corrupt

Honey Bee – that’s the name of an alleged ISI mole in the Indian security establishment that helped plan the 26/11 attacks according to the authors of the book “The Siege”. The writers mention this information was claimed by a Pakistani Major. After this book was released November 2013, then Home Minister Sushil Shinde also stated the GOI would inquire into this. Ever heard of any inquiry? So recently when about seven people were arrested for stealing documents from the Petroleum Ministry our media, particularly TimesNow, was ranting against the BJP instead of asking why so many moles floated around for so long. The Petroleum Minister claims papers moved out freely during the previous Congress govt. Although it could be a political claim I find that quite believable. In the coming days more revelations and more moles and spies may be found. One of the arrested thieves is a journalist. Any surprise?

The media didn’t ask many questions to Congress or its allies but were seeking names from the BJP. Spokies of thuggish, corrupt parties were screaming as if they were innocent of crimes during their rule of harbouring pimps, brokers, dalals and extra-constitutional foreign stooges. I have long maintained this:

“The Indian media is the first line of defence for the corrupt”.

Two episodes in the last few days reinforce my belief. The Congress party had turned govt into a termite-infested house where all kinds of brokers and pimps had a feast. Apart from the recent thieves caught by CCTV at the petroleum ministry there have been Radias and Barkhas even fixing cabinet berths. If you look at it another way, the Congress-govt was as good as an Apex body of corrupt NGOs that had a free run. SoniaG herself had an NGO called “NAC”. I had earlier written about Congress being “A profitable NGO”. Funds flowed from all over to corrupt, anti-national NGOs. Funds flowed from all over to political pimps who paraded as social and environment activists. Funds and benefits flowed to corrupt editors and media houses that were permanently in losses. Many of them are up against the Modi govt for one strong reason:

Here’s the first thing. The recent episode of Teesta Setalvad’s bail cancellation and the urgency with which the SC heard her petition should tell us how many powerful forces are behind corrupt operators. Half a dozen lawyers rushed to the SC. Is Teesta in anyway innocent? I don’t think anyone, not even her lawyers, believes that. This riot-money scavenger was slammed by the SIT on Gujarat riots as having doctored affidavits and floating fake cases. She and her husband ran NGOs that were actually a political conspiracy to malign Modi on behalf of the Congress rather than serving riot victims. According to this moron her embezzlement cases are nothing but accounting issues:

The media is the first line of defence for the corrupt. The entire media batted for Teesta. Some “Intellectual morons” even asked ModiSarkar not to harass her as if the Centre is prosecuting this case. Shekhar Gupta, the perfect Delhi pimp just echoes others like Rajdeep Sardesai and Barkha Dutt. Remember, Rajdeep is the street-thug who asked “Where is the fraud?” in the National Herald case against the Chinese Gandhis. Teesta is the tip of the criminal NGO-media complex that has long protected Congress crimes and tried their best to defeat Modi in the elections. This Gupta who thinks embezzlement is merely an accounting issue once serially trolled Kiran Bedi on the front pages of IE over her claiming business fares (offered by her sponsors) while travelling economy to generate additional savings for her NGO. For these shameless media pigs any crime from a member of their pigsty is condonable while others are culpable for small travel bill fudging.

Was it necessary to arrest Teesta? YES! The answer can be found in the court judgement. Teesta and her husband stay in Mumbai while operating their scams in Gujarat. When there were criminal complaints they got anticipatory bail from Bombay HC. When Bombay HC cancelled bail they ran to SC claiming Bombay HC had no jurisdiction. SC asked the duo to approach Gujarat HC. All this while they did not cooperate with the investigation and did not provide any documents sought by the Gujarat police. They kept dodging the investigation. Finally when the Gujarat court cancelled their bail plea they ran to SC again. Now, had Teesta and her husband cooperated with the police there would have been no need to arrest them at all. But they did not. On the scare-mongering by her lawyers and the media the SC even changed the Bench for the final hearing of her plea. This particular episode is a mockery of our judicial systems. Nevertheless, SC asked the duo to cooperate and submit documents failing which their bail would be cancelled.

It’s a simple question – If you were accused of fraud and embezzlement and if you happened to be clean, would you rush to clear your name with documents and evidence or would you dodge the police? The conduct of Teesta and her husband ever since the allegations surfaced should be enough circumstantial evidence of their culpability.

I have linked the Gujarat court order and if you go through it, the financial transactions and pilferage is nothing short of shocking. Foreign organisations donating so much money which again went to personal accounts of Teesta and her husband instead of stated causes is enough to nail her. There were earlier reports that she splurged on wine, jewellery and personal shopping with this money. Has to be a lot of wine I think, because the Teesta-duo has grown into fat cats. One of the sweet-smelling lawyers of Teesta, Indira Jaising, also runs an NGO that gets funds from Ford Foundation. The amounts have no explanation or why Ford would fund a legal-services-NGO without any benefits. I guess Ford is one of those Saints of the Congress’s lost causes. The amounts are stunning:

The best part is that this scumbagini Jaising compared Teesta’s embezzlement with the suit gifted to and worn by Modi. All of Lutyens free-floating pimps. The media has to defend the corrupt because people like Teesta collaborated with their anti-Modi campaign and a lot of worms will crawl out if she’s interrogated and prosecuted. There is only one outcome I can estimate for Teesta: a definite conviction. Let’s move on to the second thing.

Many will recall how people like Shekhar Gupta, Rajdeep Sardesai, Sagarika Ghose and assorted pimps tried to tarnish ex-CAG Vinod Rai when he exposed 2G and Coalgate scams. Rajdeep went to the extent of reporting internal conflicts at the CAG office over the 2G loss reports of 1.76 lakh crores. Little does the corrupt Rajdeep understand that in any auditing organisation there may be differences over way entries and transactions are treated. However, the final word rests with the boss. See how Rajdeep at CNN-IBN then ran a serial campaign to tar him. Rajdeep implies one of the auditors questioned Rai after his report was released. It doesn’t work that way but anything to tar an honest man. So too in the case of Coalgate where the CAG projected a loss of 1.86 lakh crores. The defenders of the corrupt were again quick to tar the man:

The only #Porngate one sees every day and night is on the channels where Rajdeep & Co work. Nonsensical debates, lack of verifiable facts and invariable defence of the corrupt Congress and its allies. Nothing is surprising. There isn’t any domain of govt operation that the Congress corruption hadn’t touched. Yet the media kept tarring those who exposed the corruption. The man who blew the whistle on Coalgate was not any media house (as TOI grandly claims in one of its reports) but a BJP member; Hansraj Ahir. The current round of coal auctions are set to cross 10Lakh crores according to progress reports and govt estimates. If anything, Vinod Rai was rather conservative about the losses and the scam and not exaggerating. The faces of the media scumbags who defend the corrupt deserve to be blackened:

There’s another report on CNN-IBN about serious security lapses at the currency printing press which was suppressed by the Congress govt. It also states the supplier of the currency paper was neither suspended nor penalised. Who knows, had Rajdeep still been in CNN-IBN even this report may have been suppressed. People remember how the Cash4Votes sting was suppressed by him to protect the Congress.

The moles, pimps and brokers in the govt corridors didn’t surface suddenly. They have been floating around for the last 10 years along with corrupt, anti-India NGOs. Many equally corrupt editors have enriched themselves through political pimping. Some of these editors still remain the first line of defence for the corrupt Congress and their cronies. But there are good signs things may change.

  1. the fight against these crooks is going to be tough..there has to be un-stinted support to NAMO from people like you on his efforts. MSM create issues on daily basis to tarnish the govt. Nalanda and pak boat issues are examples of the MSM agenda to manipulate public opinion against the sarkar even at the expense of national interest.

    2. Time has come to use pro magazines and newspapers to the full extent and call the MSM's bluff. Difficult but not impossible. Sustained efforts will definitely bring fruits. Along with that the government must take action and place laws in place to fix these liars.

  2. There was a visible difference yesterday. On newsX and TimesNow Rahul Shivshankar, Athar, and Arnav were grilling Congress spokies on Boat Explosion as if MSM are impartial. For a change they were demanding apology from Congress. Ha Ha Ha. There must be a reason for change of heart at MSM. Something is going on behind the scene. Hope BJP has learned lessons about crook media. Otherwise they would have grilled BJP spokies as NDTV was doing. The NDTV's Vishnu was grilling BJP spokie Sandip Patra on Telephone and Pravin Swami was saying that the video doesn't prove anything. This Pravin Swami considers himself as a expert journalists on defence related matters and he doesn't know if the Coast Guard had blown the boat with their big guns, the fishing boat would have shattered in to pieces within a second as per Maharoof Raza, former defence person on Times Now. In the video the boat was burning for several minutes. But this fact was deliberately ignored on NDTV to give credibility to Pravin Swami of Indian Express.

    1. Well said. It is funny that first video showing a burning boat confirms that the boat is the Pakistani boat. But the recent video is just a video and does not confirm anything. The extent to which the scumbags will go to defend the indefensible is astounding. Just a request to Ravi Narayanan - please see to it that your posts are worded so that no 'defamation' case can be foisted. Judiciary still remains the greatest stumbling block for getting justice in India. No point in pushing your luck

    2. True and it was just laughable and pitiable too that to what extent these idiots can stoop. Now they have this practice of calling the offshoots of SG as well. This man Pravin Swami talks utter nonsense always. Time to close down NDTV and show PRANNOY his rightful place.

  10. Bring in a broadcasting controller and make some solid rules for media to follow else their licenses or put behind bars ..... etc for every incorrect word spoken on the media..... and then publish statistics every week which channel or journalist gave incorrect figures say this is to be done by some one in judiciary as part of the team and print them in all journals as a mandatory information, which every news media should publish as a social cause and it should be free without any charges to the govt.

  12. All these media-NGO-politico links which are working against India in the name of secularism, need to be trapped in the act. Build strong cases against them on espionage, and other known illegal and nefarious activities they so brazenly carry out.
Break a couple of nexus and expose them and have massive media- trial, more skeletons will just roll out. Idea is to break their invincibility and expose their nexus. People will stop believing these scums.

"But there are good signs things may change."
I am not really hopeful. This is a godsend opportunity. But nothing changes unless someone grabs it and expose these crooks once for all.
BJP trying to attack congress through media. Instead it should try other way, embarrass media over congress corruption and its failure to take correct information to people.
There is one ex-journalist involved in oil ministry espionage. They should use this to target media.
Above all, it is great opportunity for BJP to take revenge for Delhi debacle written and executed by media.
    ...
Again these are my ideas. Unfortunately BJP itself ridden with mccaulayputtars and media pimps. Our very own corrupt venkayya is one of them. And nothing is likely to change.

  17. Ravi and R/W can only wring hand in despair over the shenanigans of mediacrooks even after Modi had taken the charge of Govt,I am quiet pessimist about the chances of exposure of the paid media for the reasons:
1)Modi immediately after winning the general election has assured the media that they have nothing to fear from him, true to his word he has decided that winning the opposition is more important than attacking them, secondly he is wary of appearing as dictotorial.
2)BJP is used to shellacking at the hand of media and accepts it seems to be blind to the adverse effect it has on their image and loss of votes.
3)Many of the party worthies have good equation with media and always get soft treatment from media and they don't to rubb media in the wrong way in case if BJP does not get second term

In fact starting from the last paragraph of Page 53 of the Judgement the chronology is given for the rejection.Despite that, the Supreme Court had given them Anticipatory Bail. Don't know whether judgements are pronounced as per either subjective or objective views.

Every day on social media ,some hadtag should be started nailing/questioning the Thugs.. Say Cash4Votes scam of Pig named Sardesai.. Thats the easiest and effective way of nailing them. Ending was nice bringing Delhi police very late in this operation when Petroleum Ministry collected all evidence or else Delhi Police Commissioner would have sounded alert even before Operation starts he just likes to give running commentary to News Channels.

It was blood boiling seeing the audacity of Arnab to question the delay by BJP. He has effectively laid the foundation for other leftist liberal pseudo secular whining media and congi and commie politicos to follow. Though BJP spokes person was bit aggressive but still allowed Arnab to have sway. Its time BJP changes all its spokespesons and replace with aggressive ones like MEENAKSHI, NIRMALA, SMRUTI OR even ILMI. Its time to fix accountability on the media to stop the unending nonsense spitting everynight. My request to all readers is pls login to BJP site and post suggestions as follows: 1. CHANGE SPOKIES IMMEDIATELY. 2. START WORKING FOR THOSE WHO VOTED FOR YOU INSTEAD OF RUNNNING AROUND THOSE WHO WILL NEVER VOTE FOR YOU. 3. FIX THE MEDIA FOR ACCOUNTABILITY 4. END THE KASHMIR SHAM AND SIT IN OPPOSITION.

  28. Now they got Amartya Sen to defend! The guy who enjoyed the sinecures for so many years as Chancellor of Nalanda University blames present government for "interference" and crooks are screaming.About hours and rims that media spent on Modi's suit of Rs 10 lakh, Modi has the last laugh. As has been his practice, he has placed all things that he got as gifts for auction.Suit could fetch 4.5 crores.Money thus collected is to be used in clean Ganga project.MSM and others should inform their viewers/readers about our past PMs or Presidents etc who had done such thing.Keeping such gifts in government Toshakhana [ if you are honest!] has no meaning.Instead Modi tries to realise their value and puts money to good use. What if such practices are followed by all ministers and all CMs from now on? Instead of discussing such issues, they work to protect the corrupt as you have said.

  31. Rahul had told India is beehive. How true he was but we failed to understand him. Yes it was beehive for all dishonest, fraudulent crooks who had debauched not only national exchequer but entire government machinery and collected honey for all of them. Where media pimps played pivotal part in cover up obviously as nothing could be free the pimps also had brokered their pound of flesh. The pimps’ role was not restricted to hide the corruption and misdeeds of previous government but all the time worked to divert public attention the other way by taking anti-Modi campaign with full force. There is all the reason to believe that Narendra Modi was media target. Why? Modi government’s impeccable record in Gujarat and his untarnished record on corruption is going to be a threat in future was smelled by media much before hence they undertook smear-Modi campaigned on behalf of their political bosses to stop Modi at any cost. But that failed. After temporary stopover (of course from first week it was started with sarcasm on ‘Achhedin’) again it is started. What is the modus operand? Same. Dishonest reporting with lies, twists, cover up, distraction to shield Congress and its allies.
Modi used very mild term calling them ‘News Traders’, in fact their activities are not that of traders but of Traffickers. There is need to alert public of shocking activities of media-traffickers and expose their dubious characters. Before “The Indian media the first line of defence for the corrupt” (as rightly put by Ravinarji) become successful in putting blinkers on publics’ eyes with their cunning design and become “Forward line of hindrance to Modi’s agenda of development, progress, growth, national security and safety NDA government should block them with all the dexterity at its command. And should not allow it to drift Atal Bajpayee government way.
When Modi was to be attacked they pushed dubious Teesta in the front and now when Teesta got naked they are fulfilling their comradely obligation to cover her. Both the time they applied same method- of cheats. So at least in that respect we cannot blame them for inconsistency (Ha.Ha.Ha)
Religious imperialism have encouraged state imperialism in the same way in India after independence Dynasty imperialism have encouraged Media imperialism where pimps have control of power and influence through which they have colonized the journalism. Ravinar have done commendable job of tearing down the mask from ugly faced – trickster, corrupt, biased and phoney secular media-demon.
In absence of strong opposition any cock and bull story they plant goes unchallenged. On recent exposure of petroleum ministry spy-racket media is circulating news in a manner that as if spies have become active only in last 9 months whereas the truth is opposite. It is only after Modi government took the charge the racketeering in one or the other form (Radia-tape type) which was allowed to flourish came in the public light. It is no secret that 10 Janpath and 7 Race court was exclusive highways for power brokers. Everyone know Modi is no nonsense man and that is why has become eyesore for corrupts.
Continuous disrobing the media pimps and its ugly ducklings like, Rajdeeps, Shekhar Guptas, Burkhas, C5M must be taken in the spirit of national duty and service.

  32. I was appalled at the way the petrogate is being reported in some channels. TOI even highlighted the 10000 crore coverup bite that the ex-journalist was obviously shouting to save himself. Not once there was any mention of the inefficiency of the previous government or a hint of culpability. Since most of the employees in various ministries are appointed by 'recommendation', there is a strong possibility of culpability of the previous regime.
Anyway, since I have already sworn off the MSM and know their true colors, it doesn't matter to me, but the way the Delhi elections have gone, i think we might relapse to the old Congress ways, which will be really sad.

  33. How dare you write against Teesta? Don't you know she is a special person who can get what she wants from even SC? Gujarat HC judgement against her is an aberration. What will the poor ( among minorities) do without her? Now she has asked for SC monitored investigation and she may get it. And she may also tell the SC who should be the investigators!

  34. To counter the anti Modi propaganda of MSM,Modi should by pass the media and address the people directly by fortnightly address to the nation on TV explaing the steps govt is taking to fulfill the party's agenda.
Swapan Dasgupta in his column Usual suspect in The Pioneer has summed up Modis predicament very succinctly and Modi has to attack rather than defend and not give up as he represents the aspirations of all patriotic minded people.
