You don’t need great imagination to wonder what the media would have done if any other politician, especially from the Opposition, was allegedly involved in a rape incident. Yes, they would have fallen over each other in ‘Breaking News’ and the story would have been headlines for 10 or even more days. So why is there a complete silence on the issue of Rahul Gandhi being allegedly involved in a some incident concerning a woman named Sukanya? The story is not new to many who have followed such reports on the net but now there is a court in Allahabad which has initiated some action in this strange and secretive case.
This from the Economic Times online on March 1: The Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court today issued notice to AICC general secretary Rahul Gandhi on a petition alleging that a girl and her parents were illegally detained by him since 2007. Justice Shri Narayan Shukla passed the order, seeking Gandhi's reply, on a habeas corpus petition filed by Kishore Samrite, a former Samajwadi Party MLA from Madhya Pradesh, on behalf of Sukanya Devi, her father Balram Singh and mother Sumitra Devi. The petition alleged that the petitioners -- Sukanya Devi and her parents -- were in illegal detention of Rahul Gandhi since January 4, 2007. It has sought direction to command the Congress leader to produce the girl and her parents before the court and set them at liberty.
The petition doesn’t refer to rape but it refers to something just as sinister. ‘Illegal detention’! Now why would a court accept such a petition? We all know there many trigger happy petitioners wanting to file all kinds of cases against prominent people in society. This, however, is something that has been dragging since January 2007. The first story about the alleged case was carried by Hinduunity.Org on a website and this was followed by a supposed legal notice for defamation by Rahul’s lawyers. Intellibriefs still carries that story.
Has the media played judge, jury and defendant and decided there is nothing in the case to report about? One can understand that. It is safe to assume that if there is truth in these allegations and the court gets into the process fully then it may well be the end of Rahul Gandhi. Now, that is what would hurt the media. An entire media industry, with the exception of some outfits, built around its servantile relationship with the Congress (I) would be doomed if these reports were proven to be true. And if indeed Sukanya and her family do exist, where are they? Why will nobody in the mainstream media even dare to talk about the whereabouts of this family?
This can no more be treated as a rumour or malicious campaign by someone, although it may well have started out as one. And it is time Rahul Gandhi spoke out and made a statement himself. Silence will only fuel more suspicions. Now that a court is involved the media silence once again proves how corrupt and crooked our mainstream media is. I can only repeat what I’ve said before. In this tech-age you have no place to hide. Neither Rahul Gandhi nor a crony media. If there is actually someone called Sukanya it may do well for both Rahul Gandhi and the media that she and her family be traced.
It is amazing that despite the affair in question is a grist in the critics' mill no media dared to highlight the court direction. Are they of the view that the breaking news repeatedly then ads and so on will not work out if pertained to Gandhi nehru clan?

Rahul Gandhi is a 'Desh putra", whatever it means. No one wants to touch him including the opposition. There in lies the secret. Why the BJP, Communits and other parties are observing a silence? God knows.

I wish to know, how authentic the girl's photo is? as the family of Sukanya, goes missing, but the same news of videos, photos and wordings are repeated. What is the source for photo, address, story and other details ? the story narrates, they approached president, sonia, etc., but who provided the information of all these incidents to whom and how these are spread is a question mark? Thats the reason, media, opposition parties are mum on this matter..

As a part of media, I just wants to say, that it is true to the some extend that media now a days lost its relevancy, and became a lapdog of the every kind of power, but there has exception also. It is amazing that the girl was produced in court and she confessed nothing of that sort happened. The court slammed a fine of 25 lacs to the litigant. under this circumstance, I also opined that had it not be a fact that the allegations were true how could she have been produced at the dictum of the court and that fact I mailed to the author too for his hot mail. It is amazing to see in a country of such glorious freedom fighters, the advent of whom hasn't even passed a century, that helping our own countrymen and trying to bring out the truth costs one more than he can imagine. I feel absolutely ashamed today.

The same is not true with blogs..... this news surely has a wide chance of being true... but it will be believed only if it supported by some documentary evidence...
3) Blogs are read by very few.. thus reach of such information is generally limited than other forms of media...
4) Further, such news matters a lot in the decisions the voters make, thus it is imperative that it reaches the masses.Therefore we as citizens should come ahead and give something that is concrete enough so that the mainstream media is forced to take this up seriously. If the blogger is genuine, it is his duty to substantiate this information with documentary evidence

I am very pleased and hopping, all Patriots will keep expressing their view and concerns through social media until the whole rotten Dynasty will not collapse completely.
Moreover, this battle is not Congress vs BJP but it's leading towards Truth vs falsehood, hallowed vs Corruption and therefore BJP corruption brigade (Top brass) are also likely face significant resistance from patriots.

ReplyDeleteIf Asaram Bapu is guilty then he should be punished as per the laws of the land. The biggest mistake he did was that he did not present himself for questioning at the earliest. But the way Media is targeting him and calling him a rapist, fraudster, molester and is using all kinds of abusive language repeatedly is simply deplorable. Media is crossing its limit. Who has given the media the right to malign someone’s character before one is pronounced guilty by the court of India. Is it a larger picture to malign Hindu community? A malicious campaign against Ramdev Baba was launched few years back and he was also branded as a fraudster but nothing came out in spite of the might of the government and the media. The kind of language being used by some of the prominent journalists especially in the electronic media is simply distasteful. If by a mere allegation of a girl one become a rapist then the future of all males in India is in deep danger. Remember Rahul Gandhi was also falsely accused of rape and later he was absolved by the court.
ReplyDeleteDay before Yesterday,At mangalore A Muslim MOULVI(TEACHER) at Madrasa raped a 2nd standard girl and has got arrested. Three days back, An IMAM(priest of the mosque) at Muzzaffarnagar, has got arrested for abducting and raping a 11year old girl (Both Ref:TOI newspaper).These above mentioned rapist-criminals might have even been bailed out immediately which is of no wonder in India and the reasons are also very obvious! (news about Bail has not been mentioned in subsequent days' newspaper). Why hasnt any media even made any mention about it on news channels inspite of these arrests being done with proven clear rape-evidences and records, whereas the same media channels can talk hours together on Asharam's case through-out the day which is yet to be even completely investigated! Will they apologise for the loss of his honour or defamation in case he is proved guilty?Why is the so called MEDIA quiet in other above-mentioned issues?! In case of Kanchi swamiji's case also media hyped up the things so badly projecting and defaming the guru's name and when he was proven innocent after SC's order , no media even gave a word of apology! Who has given the rights for media to brutally defame anybody's name?!!(that saraswathi-theertha swamiji being a great spiritual leader for millions of devotees). SHOULD ANYONE EVEN RELY ON THIS MEDIA ANYMORE WHO DOES SO MUCH OF DISCRIMINATION AMONG COMMUNITIES!!DOES IT EVEN DARE QUESTIONING OTHER RELIGIOUS PARTIES EVEN WHEN PROVED GUILTY (as in above-mentioned cases)?! Is law "selective" only for a particular community? We always wonder why is ONLY HINDU community targeted and projected, while the rest all are "selectively" protected! What are the criminal intentions behind these acts by the media, police, law and the govt? Is Hindu community really on the verge of turning into "minority" in our own nation?ALL THESE INCIDENTS AND PEOPLE INVOLVED ARE TRULY HURTING CRORES OF HINDUS' RELIGIOUS SENTIMENTS!! Does LAW AND JUSTICE truly exist? Any crime is a crime and criminals have to be punished equally. We need Sanghatan of all true-hindus, otherwise days are no far when there will be no "Sthan" for Hindus in this "Hindusthan"!! Truth, Equality and Justice have to be equal for all and punishments have to be punishments (without any soft corner) irrespective of the caste and creed.
