The AAP-Sucker Proxies

(This is a MaxiPost)

The best way to get to the bottom of any story is to go to its roots; the beginning. A person’s political ideology is formed very early and doesn’t change unless something dramatic happens. Does Arvind Kejriwal really want to form a govt and deliver on his party’s promises? I had doubted this since they day he called “Modi corrupt”. The simple reason is that the Congress and MSM have called Modi many things and names but “corrupt” is stretching imagination way too far. But that was the hint for me on what AK’s real job is. If AK claims the Delhi vote is against corrupt BJP and Congress, a vote for honest politics and a moral victory then AAP is obligated to form the govt when no one is opposing. We shall see.

Old man, probably in his seventies, wealthy with a huge business goes crazy. He jumps off his top floor office. His secret letter leaves all his wealth to his successor but with some twists. So crafty, wicked board member finds an ordinary mail-room worker and appoints him President of the company in hopes he will destroy the company and lower the share value. This could help the board members buy all the shares at low value and take control. The mail-room moron apparently doesn’t know much but accidently invents a stupid ‘Shoonya’ (As TimesNow calls it) which the board members are convinced will be a big flop. It’s a circular thing that’s called after the hoopla around this guy. So it’s named the Hula-hoop. What an invention! Contrary to the villain’s expectations this hoop becomes a huge success and the moron becomes rich. He also becomes arrogant, bashful and rude. He finally comes to senses and is about to kill himself but gets saved. Let’s watch a preview (video 1.43 mins)

That little burst was from ‘The Hudsucker Proxy’. Arvind Kejriwal is no mail-room moron. He is a smart and wily guy who is good at planning and executing. Surely, as an IRS officer managing to stay in Delhi for 17 years without a single transfer takes some doing. That was his first miracle. Since December 8 when the election results were announced he is being hailed as the latest miracle that should be recognised by the Pope and accorded Sainthood. In my previous post I lauded AK for the grace he showed in the excellent debut that his AAP party made in the Delhi elections. Looks like I spoke too soon. The arrogance, rudeness and spite of AK (like Hudsucker’s proxy) would soon be on display when he made the following comment to a reporter which was aired on all channels:

Since the Delhi results threw up a hung-assembly AK believes the “besharamis” of Congress and BJP should be trusted to form an alliance. This reflects a man of intense contempt even as he knows that Congress and BJP would never be allies. If that were indeed to happen, many regional parties would be dead including the new-born AAP. He’s not the proxy here although he maybe a proxy for some other forces. But he already has proxies in the media and they look like this (do include the multiple organisations and people behind them):

All the above characters have been slaves of the Congress and promoters of Rahul Gandhi as the great white hope of India. Of course, all the above slaves would say “no we are neutral journalists”. But I think people now know them for what they are. Commie Fiberals! For instance, the Numero Uno Rajdeep grandly asked Sanjay Jha (Dec.9) “what was the one big idea RahulG produced in all these years”. Don’t bother about some lame answer Jha would have come up with. The puzzle is, if Rajdeep and his gang at CNN-IBN couldn’t see such an idea from RahulG how did they present him with an “Indian of the year” award for 2009. Any answers? We know Barkha as Barkha Darwin who did her best to “evolute Rahul”. As for Ashutosh, anyone to beat Hitler Modi would do. And Sagarika Ghose? Well, what can I say? The C5M was so thrilled AK answered her Twitter questions that nothing else mattered to her. We will get to all this but like I said, let’s get to the roots of the story.

In a short bio of AK The Mint quotes AK’s friends and fellow activists: Arvind has a set of views on how things should change and he would brook no opposition to it. He refutes everything with a belief that only what he says is correct… By that time, he was totally disillusioned with the RTI Act… He does not want to hear or listen, but he still wants to consult. Beyond a point, people lost faith in him as there is no point in only signing attendance registers… One of the major reasons why Arvind can be successful is that he is a very effective speaker, a fantastic organizer, which we all have seen in the past, and has a fairly high level of commitment and interest in the issues that he has taken up… The RTI activist cited above doesn’t think Kejirwal will be different from “other political leaders”, most of whom do not believe in a democratic system. “He is a leader with strong non-democratic traits; he is in a way choosing the conventional method of leading people, doing politics.

In short, AK’s closest friends and those who supported his activism don’t really think he is different from other politicians. That doesn’t bother me much. The more dangerous comment is that he is a leader with strong non-democratic traits. Mint also mentions one of his tutors was Harsh Mander (of the Gujarat 2002 gang). This is the reason I have assessed that AK and AAP are more ideologically married to Congress and CPM rather than BJP. So it is absurd that AK makes a grand stand that BJP-Congress should form an alliance because both are similar. This is the LIE that AK hides behind and which the media gladly peddles to support his miracle. Truth is, AK is a Rahul Gandhi in all respects except that he isn’t dumb like RG. He is smarter, a good thinker and a better organiser as his friends testify. Does that explain why the crony editorialists I have named found a new alternative to Pappu in AK? That is what I tweeted in rejecting the cowardly nonsense of AK in his unwillingness to form a govt in Delhi when no one is stopping him.  I also tweeted the logic that neither BJP nor Congress would dare to pull down a minority AAP govt because they would face a severe backlash during the LS elections which is just a few months away and that is insurance.

Let’s now talk about the greatest electoral miracle that these scumbags and scumbaginis are calling AAP’s victory as. It’s an excellent debut but it is not a victory (although AK claims it’s a victory but remains unwilling to stake a claim to govt). The greatest electoral victory in India so far has to be indisputably Mamata Banerjee throwing out the Commies in Bengal. Our media morons seem to have short memories. TMC threw out a govt that had stayed in power longer than any other govt in a State or the Centre in India. Thirty four years! That’s right; it took a MamataB to throw out a govt that was in power for 34 years. Yet the media would have you believe that AAP’s debut, which is not even a victory, is the greatest electoral miracle. It’s fun if it were just labelling but these Pope’s agents are actually starting to believe it and asking people to believe it. These shameless proxies have a clear agenda and that is to make AAP look like the option to Congress as against BJP being an alternative. That AK is the challenger to Modi since their Pappu has been a complete disaster. This is what drives Barkha and Rajdeep. This is the reason they back AAP so strongly. Check these tweets from Ashutosh:

Ever heard a bigger moron? He is ridiculing “English elites”! And pray who are those English elites he talks about? If you look at the pic of the editorialists that I put up above, all the neighbours of Ashutosh are pretty much the English elites or Macaulay siblings. These are the people he hangs around with. Are these English elites AAP proxies or anti-AAP? All of them are Modi-hating Congress cronies but in the current slump of the party they have become AAP-Proxies. They aren’t AAP’s enemies as Ashutosh dreads. This is true for all the Commies who desperately hate Modi. Unfortunately for Ashutosh, Chaubeji let out his little secret that the entire IBN group was actively campaigning for AK and AAP. So the scumbag’s tweets are quite understandable.

If you look closely, although MamataB has replaced CPM in Bengal her ideology isn’t really different from them. This ideology is simply Commie ideology which is the same as Congress. It has a heady cocktail of subsidies, welfare schemes, doles and above all minority appeasement. So in what respects is AK a different politician or against the ideology of the Congress? His sole claim would be that of Corruption but his route to electoral politics is not one of just anti-corruption. Making tall promises that can’t be fulfilled is a trait of all Commies which is why Communist govts across the world have fallen. How did MamataB get there? Anti-incumbency and 2-3 years of relentless agitation in Bengal (Singur, Nandigram and all of that). Is AK’s route any different? It’s the same route, through use of Anna Hazare and hijacked by AK, that’s all. So it’s not as if AK came out of the blue and won some seats in Delhi in a miracle as the media cronies would have you believe. Mamata can’t be supportive of Congress so AK is the best option now to occupy the slot and thereby attempt to stop the Modi storm.

That miracle nonsense cleared, we can now look at the Twitter interview the queen of stupidity, Sagarika Ghose, had with AK. She was in raptures over what a great politician AK was because he answered her questions. Only idiots will buy the nonsense returned by AK to her. Some samples are enough:

Sagarika: How will you make up Delhi's power deficit?
Kejriwal: Delhi is a power surplus state now, not power deficit anymore.
Sagarika: How will you fast track police reforms?
Kejriwal: Delhi Police under Centre's control.

There! You happy now? Delhi is a power surplus state? Delhi police is under Centre! Okay, didn’t SheilaD already tell that to Sagarika? But she’s happy, no? These laughable stupidities are passed off as qualities of a great politician by an equally stupid media bimbo. And because Modi doesn’t respond to her stupidity he’s a bad guy. The Royal Bimbo forgets that Modi appeared in a ThinkIndia programme of CNN-IBN hosted by Raghav Bahl where he answered many questions. Modi even light-heartedly observed “Sagarika must be busy tweeting” (she wasn’t present at the event).

The less I say about the queen of telly trolls and the failed “evoluter” the better. She interviewed AK on December 9 and was happy to pass his entire BS unchallenged. Prior to elections Kumar Vishwas made a stupid claim of BJP poaching AAP candidates but refused to provide evidence. His demand? That BJP should promise to sack the person who attempted the so-called poaching. True to the circus-clown performer, Arnab Goswami debated that nonsense for a full half hour. The moronery of Vishwas in demanding action for a non-existent proof of poaching is like “I will make a movie but only if you guarantee me an Oscar”. AK made the same allegation post-election with Barkha. She let it pass too. You see, all these fraudulent interviews by these editorialists are meant to peddle as much muck against BJP which the media tries hard to tarnish every single day. So Barkha wonders if AK could be the roadblock that will halt Modi’s march to Delhi. Lovely! Scoundrels will hang on to anyone to do the hit-job that they failed to do all these years. It would be wonderful for these editorialists if AK also became a prosecutor like Teesta or Vrinda Grover and filed some cases against Modi; wouldn’t it?

Barkha was overjoyed with the prospect that the arrival of AAP in Delhi assembly could mean the possibilities of a 3rd or even a 4th Front. Hope floats for all the scumbaginis who want to see the death of BJP and Modi in any which way possible. Their deepest desire is to see AAP replace BJP as the challenger to Congress in all the states. Oh wait; they already have the SP, JDU blah blah so maybe they want AAP to fill in the blanks in Gujarat, Rajasthan, MP, Haryana and other states where there isn’t another option. These bitter proxies want that both options be like their darling Congress in ideology; Commies Fiberals in nature. Of course, the immediate priority is stop Modi from probable PMship at any cost. They don’t care if AK does it or IM or LeT does it; each with different methods. The darling of Barkha and Rajdeep, their IOTY Nitish Kumar, supports their claims as you can see from his response.

The last proxy in the gang is the constant hate-monger and flip-flopper Rajdeep Sardesai. He hasn’t tired of promoting AK in every which way he can. Multiple interviews before elections and multiple interviews after! In one interview a week before elections (around November 27) Rajdeep became such a suck up that he was doing most of the interview in Hindi on his English channel when both he and AK comfortably speak English. It’s not hard to guess who he was “eyeing” (to borrow his deputy’s line). The interview was laced with questions from Tweeple (some fake accounts, some AK supporters and some genuine ones). The stupid irony misses Rajdeep. If the C5M can do a “Twitter interview” on Twitter, as she grandly did, why does Rajdeep have to do a Twitter interview on a TV channel? Will AK answer Twitter questions only if routed through this bumbling duo?  Never mind!

How Tiffany-twisted Rajdeep is and how cheap he will get to somehow equate AK with Modi can be measured by his blog “Kejriwal and Modi: Agents of change promising too much, too soon” (Nov.29) again, just a few days before elections. The opening slaughter goes like this: “On the face of it, Arvind Kejriwal and Narendra Modi are literally chalk and cheese… It is unlikely that the ideologically contrasting Kejriwal and Modi will ever break bread, but both have one thing in common: both are 'gatecrashers' in a status quoist political system. Both, in different ways, claim to be change agents to be 'feared' by the incumbent government”.

If you miss the dreadful propaganda behind those lines you will miss what a terrible mis-reader Rajdeep is. Let’s ask! Does Congress fear Modi and AK for the same reason and in the same levels or dimension? I doubt Congress even fears AK at all. If Rajdeep is talking about Delhi then SheilaD was pretty much aware of the anti-incumbency so who is the bigger danger to Congress? Is Rajdeep that dumb? Secondly, how is AK a gatecrasher? He has been part of the Delhi establishment and Babudom most of his working life. He knows how the system works. Modi isn’t a gatecrasher either, except in the limited sense of Delhi limits. He is a career politician with most of his life in public service. The simple nonsense of Rajdeep is to somehow equate Modi and AK when there is no case. Why? Because the earlier gladiatorial contest between their darling Pappu and Modi has now gone up in smoke. Naturally, watching all the discourse on TV I couldn’t help the cheeky tweet about how BJP had lost the elections 4-0 and why Modi must resign. There was only victor for the media; and that was Arvind Kejriwal.

So what the Barkhas, Rajdeeps, C5Ms and Ashutosh want is AK to somehow combat Narendra Modi. Now that AK’s gang has won some seats in Delhi the prospect seems brighter to them. They couldn’t damage Modi for 11 years, here’s the new Brown Hope! All this nonsense of AK not wanting support from Congress or BJP is theatre. AAP is as much Congress in ideology, policies and appeasement as any other “Sickular” party is. Not surprisingly, by late evening on December 10 the Congress had offered unconditional support to AAP. Will AK now form a govt? I hope so but I have my doubts. You see, forming a govt will expose him as a non-performer where his bogus promises are concerned. It will also leave him lesser time to combat Modi, which is what his media proxies desperately want. The AAP-Sucker proxies want Modi decimated at any and all cost. They don’t give a damn about India or Delhi. They only care if their own nuts will be roasted, spiced and served with fine Champagne. I’m not kidding!

Not all were blind to the mischief going on at NDTV, CNN-IBN and TimesNow on December 8. Their mischief of showing AK as a miracle worth Sainthood and making BJP and Modi appear losers prodded a minor questioning of non-performance of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi on December 9 on TimesNow and CNN-IBN. A token show!
Arnab actually looked pretty much like a chastised rat. In the previous post I mentioned Sonia Singh and Bhupendra Chaube partly admitting the Modi-effect on these elections. Rahul Kanwal was a lot more daring and called it like it is. He asked the media proxies to remove their hate-filled glasses.

TheJaggi at FirstPost sees no difference between the Dole-nomics of Sonia’s NAC and AAP. Surjit Bhalla (a more centre-right economist) says the BJP loves AAP because it is helping destroy Congress because, like I said, the AAP is nothing but a smaller Congress. Arvind Kejriwal and AAP are despising Congress without realising that they are despising their own ideology. The only difference is that AAP hasn’t yet had the chance to prove it is not corrupt like the Congress. That may take time because AK doesn’t want any responsibility at all. He wants to just be the agitator outside or inside a legislature. Therefore, it is not wrong for me to assess him as a substitute or a proxy for the Congress. In the last stages of Delhi election, the Congress having lost all hopes after walk-outs at RahulG rallies even stated they are open to a post-poll alliance with AAP.

Events are still unfolding. I’ve said before, it’s still too early for 2014 and we’ll drink that poison when we get there. But as if on cue there’s a report in Dainik Bhaskar on December 10 that reads: “Encouraged with its spectacular performance in Delhi elections, Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) wants to contest all the Lok Sabha seats from Gujarat to forge a challenge to BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in his home state. According to sources, the strategy is to confine Modi to Gujarat so that his visits to other states are severely curtailed”. Isn’t that exactly what the Congress wants? Isn’t that exactly what the AAP-Sucker proxies Rajdeep, Barkha, Sagarika, Ashutosh and their entire tribe want? What was so surprising when AK called Modi “corrupt”? After all, it was that day he became a proxy for some forces.

Some of the charlatans who parade as editors in the MSM are nothing but the AAP-Sucker proxies. They don’t care about Delhi, they don’t care about India, and they don’t care about anything. Their AAP-Sucking of the new Saint Kejriwal is only to protect their own miserable lives.

  1. Watching Arvind Kejriwal on TV, his self righteousness is the most irritating thing about him. One thing is for sure, these guys don't have any constructive idea about development. They are a group whose core is formed around "anti-something, anti-establishment" which is classic communist construct. They are always anti-something, never pro-something. So, if they step into power, they will be exposed within no time due to their lack of ideas. Governance is not about honesty, it's about transparency, vision & flawless execution. We have seen what honest people like Manmohan Singh (although I doubt he is honest), AK Antony have done for the country. So, it's time we get a transparent & decisive visionary and in the opinion of many Indians, that visionary leader is NaMo.

Here is one party that has completely change the political discourse of the country for good and you people are not happy about it.

    2. I am a fan of AK, but I have question for him and all his hard followers, why does he not take up the challenge and form the government, everytime someone asks him he says , he don wana be CM, if he wil not become CM how will he bring the change that he has promised. I hate to say but this attitude is similar to Rahul Gandhi.

    3. I totally agree with you Veerendra, at the start I also liked their ideology, specially when ANNA, KB and all were in same platform. But this guy ditched them and gone against the wishes of other members. And now when he has chance to prove his credibility, promises he made he is eying Lok Sabha. Certainly people have chosen him b/c of those reasons and he is already on some other agenda(loksabha elections). This is no doubts too much and people should first ask him to prove in Delhi first.

Do you know how government works?
Do you know that congress is not providing any legislature support to AAP ?
Do you know that for making lokpal , you need to have full majority ? and congress is not providing that support to make Lokpal..

Do you know , to start audit of electricity companies you need to have legislature power , which is again not supported by congress?

On what basis do you say that AAP should form the government, when AAP can't make any law by itself . How can he make the changes he promised.

And, what if congress takes it support back in 1 month..!

Is there any joke happening..! You want to save election's money and bring back corrupt in the system so that they can do scams, which will ultimately cost more than the cost in re-elections

Man I don't know, how the government functions, but definitely my common sense tells something like this.

Congress has made it clear, it can support AAP (outside or unconditional, I am not sure); also everybody is sure that Congress is not going to support BJP. Atleast on MSM, I didn't hear anything of that sort.
AAP announced in public that neither they are going to give support or take support.
JDU with 1 seat has announced that they will support AAP.

With this equation, BJP is left with 32 (31 BJP + 1 SAD) cannot form a government.
But if AAP is very much serious about its promises & the welfare of the Delhi people, it has an option to form the Government with the support of JDU & Congress. Of course the people who voted for Congress and elected them for Delhi assembly are the citizens of India and not the citizens of Pakistan or Bangladesh and not all who voted for Congress & other parties are corrupt (In that disagree, then 70% of the people who did not voted for AAP are corrupt).

With them willing (Congress + JDU), there is no harm for AAP to accept their support.

Also, let the AAP bring the Jan Lokpal in the floor of the house. With my little knowledge, I understand for passing a legislature, you need the numbers not for definitely bringing one in the floor of the house. If you think, Congress will not vote in favor of Jan Lokpal or reducing the Electricity price to 50%, then let AAP dissolve the assembly citing this reason. By this way, AAP may have an opportunity to announce the people that they tried to bring the changes. Since they are few in numbers, not having the majority and congress is not supporting, all those promises by AAP are not fulfilled. And this will bring negative effect for congress and will wipe them out in the coming assembly elections in case of this situation.

The above option is not available with BJP as neither Congress nor AAP is going to support them and they have announced this in public.

They will be a backlash against congress if they do so. Rhetoric is best these AAPtards do without any logic.

More than anything they are afraid of getting their inexperienced MLA's exposed and then they cant go to other states asking for votes.

This is the reason rhetoric is getting shriller from AAP side without any sustance.

  3. If you have seen Sherlock serial, then you can compare how moriarty was playing with people's mind to destroy sherlock( since he couldn't defeat him face to face). Now that congress has miserably failed with Pappu, they have new means to support AAP thereby change people's mind and somehow have their communist ideas. The irony is, AAP has changed people's mind that everyone has started to believe that they will be better than any other government, even though they don't have any track record.

If AK is so honest, howcome he did not got a single transfer out of Delhi even being a IRS officer? Truths about these guys will get unfolded soon. Do you want this person as PM and his colleague 'Kavi Sahab' as Union Home Minister? Are they mature enough to deliver? This is Con teams plan as they know that Pappu cannot stop the Modi Juggernaut. So, let polarisation of votes happen by promoting and supporting AAP. If BJP does not comes in 2014, we all will be losers.

I am not very much fond of BJP, in fact I strongly believe that AAP got its space in Delhi just because of the ineffectiveness of the Delhi BJP Unit to convince the people of Delhi that it is an alternative to Congress.

Having said that, I am not very much impressed with the opinion of AK on Terrorism (Batla encounter); Naxalism, J&K, Communalism Vs. Secularism (Muzzafar Nagar riots) or for that matter any national topic.

I am not sure how you come to the conclusion that Modi may be OK and rest are thieves and anybody and everything that is associated with AAP must be clean. Who is going to decide on the allegations made against AK or AAP? themselves? Isn't that similar to Tejpal who is alleged guilty, become the judge and pronounced the verdict for 6 months staying away from Tehelka?

Also, I remember one Anjali Damania case for which a Internal Lokpal was constituted to look into the charges and announce the verdict with in 60 days. Do we have any logical conclusion on that? It was announced on Nov 2012, if i remember correctly. Also there was a internal lokpal on Mayank Gandhi & Bhushan. How was that concluded? What was the internal lokpal's verdict?

Forget about the AAP promises made to Delhi public, does AAP & AK require 36 seats in Delhi to complete this internal lokpal also? For me, this shows the governance skill of AK. If he is not able to convict or acquit 3 persons of his own party for a period of more than 12 months, what is more expected from him?

    6. @Dan Dany
You cannot rubbish the allegations which are pending on AAP members. What video are you talking of? On Youtube there are unlimited videos which exposes them as well. Will you have that courage to see and accept it.
You seem to be a pseudo activist only like them as you speak their language only-sab chor hain. Do you have any proof to substantiate it? Why are their CM's getting 3 time continuous mandate from the people? Its because of their governance. When your chance came to show this you ran away thinking that it may backfire your chances in next elections or may be LS polls. Take the baton and show what you can do. We are here to see. Have some decisive and nationalist stance on the more bigger and sensitive issues, get out of playing the voter appeasement card, stop chanting on how corrupt the whole world is except your good party and please be humble while on television. Ask your patriarchs to give classes on this to the new princes. You yesterday talked of getting 160-170 LS seats as per some news channel. Is not this a sheer over confidence?

Need to study constituencies that AAP has won with vote loss(%) of Congress their in contrast with vote loss in other assembly seats. Also late voting till 9:30 in constituencies and % win of AAP there would help unravel any CONG strategy.

It definitely looks the karma is catching up with proxies. They are getting back all the sins they did to Namo.

    As a saying goes by,
How people treat you is their karma; how you react is yours.

    It looks namo is winning.

I will pray to god Namo becomes our PM in 2014.

  9. Very nice, sir.
At first, congie panelists on news channels were somewhat hesitated to talk because of the disaster that congress faced in four states. But our fiberal journos relieved them off the grief by taking the course from BJP winning in 3 state and becoming biggest party in Delhi to AAP's grand debut in Delhi and how AK is now threat to Modi. Twisting and turning news items are the only way these fiberals are going to survive. So thanks to them, Congress is in full delight now (even after losingin four states), talking of unconditional support to AK as anything that is threat to modi can be(and will be) gladly used by Congress.
But to me, AK's ideology seems more similar to CPI(M), CPI and such communist parties. So I wonder why they haven't come with an open support yet?
And as for the politics of horse-trading, AK accused both BJP and Congress of having indulged in 'jod-tod'. But, actually that is the hidden desire of AAP, when they put it in a mild way last night ' jo achhe, imaan-daar log he(bjp and congress me), wo hamare saath aae (those who are good and honest(in BJP and Congress), join us'.

  10. AK has become arrogant and claims above board than scamgress and BJP. People voted for him and it is his responsibility prove and translate into reality whatever he promised to the people and for that he should address with the means available and if he fails then the saying "A critic knows the route but not driving" will be proved beyond doubt and can also be termed that his averments are "short on substance and long on rhetoric"

  11. I've always believed Delhi was just an experiment to see how anti incumbency votes can be split, now that has been successful, it was only a matter of time before AAP went national and did the same across India, what happens then is that BJP would not have enough numbers to form a government, which means a 3rd front or 4th front whose government can be brought down in 2 years and by then Modi wave would be diminished, helping dynasty to return to power(it doesn't take an einstien to know that and its all in public domain). Its a shame as to how people of Delhi couldn't see this coming, alarm bells should have gone off when Media started giving kejriwal undivided attention, wonder if people of delhi are such gullible & confused as to who to choose for a mandate?, another factor which has helped AAP and AK is that people hardly read from different sources to look for answers. It was so easy for AK to simply hit and run, nobody when the same thing happens to AAP, they play victim.. There are serious unanswered questions a) what is his association with Aruna roy of NAC. 2) What was he doing with that criminal Mullah asking him to campaign when he openly preaches democracy and talks about not giving tickets to criminals 3) How come his party having been less than a year old, he has centers all across india, where did he get the money from apart from donations?. Are donations merely sufficient to pay deposits & tickets for so many candidates if he is going to contest from all 543 constituencies?. I am surprised to as why many educated guys who blindly support AAP cannot ask themselves these questions and how can one live like gandhaari and don't want to see the truth?. Wonder what would have happened if there was no modi?. Little do people really understand the importance of our culture, our rich heritage, our ancient achievements etc that are all slowly dying down. The vedas and upanishads have so many ideas and hidden innovations which are now being exploited around the west, little have we done to cherish these monuments, unfortunately we are our greatest enemies, we don't do enough to convince people like AAP supporters to introspect & see what's happening to our country, little do they understand that modi is working very hard to unite this country and take it forward as a nation. They simply don't realize the gravity of situation & are simply too confused, communal forces are doing everything they can to destroy India and its cultural heritage, gullible idiots are simply supporting the wrong party, without knowing who stands for their rights.. Basic cynism of 'sab chor hain' except mr. self-righteous and his clan ain't doing favors to India as a nation.

    3. Some problems in the logic that AAP formation was for the sole reason splitting anti-incumbency vote.
      1. Extending polling timing while Exit Polls gave 6 seats to AAP, resulted in anti-incumbency votes between 5.30 Pm to 9 PM going to BJP not AAP. If they were part of Congress plot, the announcement of Exit Polls would had been banned till polling is over by MO Information. This would had helped AAP actually win and damage BJP more. (Assuming the MSM did share their Exit Poll results with Political parties, not waiting till 5.30.)
      2. A symbol of Torch (which looked similar to broom) was allowed for many independent candidates, which harmed AAP as some chose Torch by mistake. This would not had happed if AAP was with Congress.

  15. The media celebrities that are trying to portray AK as messiah of 'anti-corruption' are forgetting that, they ran a "Totally Negative" campaign for NaMo for more than a decade. Someone said that he's the first IITian to come to politics and achieve so much success, forgetting the fact that Manohar Parikar who passed out of IIT Bombay and is CM of Goa much before AK was 'someone'. Then none in the media acknowledged the fact that BJP is more democratic in than their favourite Congress.

Second very interesting obesrvation that is coming out of "MSM love for AK" is that same Journalists who are involved in corruption are trying to project AK. In my last comment I had put a metaphor of "Dirty Pig" coming out of Dirty Drain and sitting in front of temple, expecting the fragnance of 'incense" will overtake the foul smell of drain.

Punya Prasun Vajpayee of AAJ-TAK tweeted on 9 Dec about Barkha Dutt. I quote him "Vakt badal raha hai! Barkha-Dutt ko AK ne interview diya! Na radia Tape ka jikr, na andolan ke waqt Barkha ko stage se bhagane was jikr !!." The tweet is still on his TL.

It seems MSM has realised that CONG is not coming to power, so they have adopted the AK as their own PM candidate, all will put behind all the energy to promote him. And if NaMo does something after coming to power, thay can easily take their cases of victimisation to the "Anti-Corruption crusader AK". ?? Does it make any sense ??

  21. DON'T BUDGE / DON'T FUDGE

Congress and BJP are still in denial , 3 days after election results

They refuse to believe that , for the first time , people had a real option

    Not between Congress and BJP

But between Congress / BJP on one side and AAP on the other

But , both Congress and the BJP , are firm believer in ,

" In politics there are neither permanent friends , nor permanent enemies - only permanent interests , viz : , how to grab / stay in power "

To keep BJP out of power , Congress has even offered " Unconditional " support to AAP , if it wishes to form a government !

Then of course , Arvind suggesting that Congress and BJP get together to form a coalition government , must be treated as a light-hearted joke , which , even Arvind does not take seriously !

But it will be the END of AAP - and of Arvind - , if he compromises on his stand that ,

" AAP will neither support anyone nor take support from anyone "

This is the only thing that differentiates him ( and AAP ) from other power-hungry politicians

This is the only way he can prove to the people of Delhi - and 725 million voters of India - that , he is NOT lusting for power at the cost of principles

His message to Indians is loud and clear :

" I highly value your votes

But I will not compromise and take support ( even if it is offered and
unconditional ) from the corrupts , just to occupy a minister's chair

    We don't care for power

I will not stab you in the back , even if you fail to give AAP , an absolute
    majority "

    ARVIND ,

Remember , AAP is NOT just any other political party

People of India are looking upon AAP as a MORAL MOVEMENT , for which , this country has been waiting for 65 years

The only way you can live up to your promises , is not to compromise !

If you do not compromise , people of Delhi will re-elect AAP with an absolute majority in the inevitable re-poll

And , in 2014 , people of India will follow !

    1. I see the same patterns here we see with Congress supporters - ignoring the detailed arguments provided and parroting the same line in the hope that they will somehow dissolve the truth.

Either (a) you cannot read properly; (b) you are lacking in intelligence; or (c) you are a fully paid-up member of the Congress/AAP (not-so) hidden agenda and not ashamed of it. Or some combination of these. Either way, I don't think you'll find anybody here stupid enough to suddenly forget the damning evidence against your masters and join your cause.

As for your self-proclaimed "moral movement" - the people who come here are generally those who care about India and want to support the *only* man who has consistently proven himself in power.

If there's a re-election in Delhi and people vote in AAP with an absolute majority, then they are beyond redemption. For India to progress, everyone *must* vote BJP so they win a majority in 2014. This will give Modi as PM the freedom to start making the changes the nation *desperately* needs, including dealing with out the anti-nationals such as those referenced in the article.

  28. With the collapse of 'feudal democratic system' in delhi due to total failure to 'evolve' and project 'shehzade', it is only a matter of time for congress too. But then what! What about those who are doing anything and everything with the protection of dynasty(from 'damad' to 'bhanja'). They need protection. And they can also read the magnitude of not only anti congress but also anti 'dynasty' sentiment all over the nation. If Modiji comes with majority then it will be near impossible to bring congress to power even in distant future. Area wise voting pattern is also indicating a consolidation of 'majority' vote. And that is one of the reason for such a 'fantastic' result of congress and its so called secular(!!!) allies. Secular(!!!) people are alarmed too. People have started to recognise congress in disguise. So, they planned to launch AAP. Same engine with a different tuning. From its very inception, slowly but steadily MSM has done everything for AAP(especially for AK), what they use to do for congress(especially for 'shehzade' and his mother)) and its allies. I am reiterating that without MSM, AAP is nothing.

congress thought that AAP will be able to manage 10-12 seats and with that success they will try to prevent consolidation of anti congress vote in the forthcoming parliament election in as many places as they can. And prevent Modiji from coming to power with absolute majority. But, nor AAP neither congress had any plan to tackle this type of situation. In delhi, they are actually trapped in their own plan.

  30. The below is not my words. It is written by Sandhya Jain at Niti Central -

For the Gujarat Chief Minister, the big lesson from the elections is that he is in for a long haul and will have to handle complex challenges within and outside the BJP, simultaneously. His letter to the Prime Minister, pointing out serious lacunas in the Prevention of Communal and Targeted Violence (Access to Justice and Reparations) Bill, which has received support from Chief Ministers across the spectrum, is an impressive intervention in the national arena.

It has also curbed the tendency of BJP parliamentary leaders to strike deals with the ruling Congress without reference to the electoral leadership. Given Sonia Gandhi’s desperation to pass certain legislations in the Winter Session of Parliament to enhance Congress prospects in 2014, Narendra Modi will have to keep a beady eye on all BJP-Congress activities in Parliament, besides being alert to signs of an early election. For starters, he should put in abeyance all contentious legislations, such as the unnecessary Lokpal Bill, the Women’s Reservation Bill, and so on, until wider national consensus evolves on these issues.

The most immediate challenge is to restrain the Delhi BJP leadership which is itching to form the Government, even though there is no mandate to do so. I believe Modi is keeping a tab on all these.

But one must also remember that capitalist ideologies and policies have also had its share of negative impact, which is being felt in many countries. The socialist concerns should be addressed, and the mechanism and tone that AAP speaks about gives space for this debate. They might be hurling muck at everyone else, but they seem and sound open and smart to take up intelligent and much needed debate. As far as your speculation about Kejriwal being lured into corruption is concerned, that is just a baseless allegation i can hurl at anyone. I have seen documentaries from multiple perspectives about the 2002 incident, and have made conclusions about Modi. 35. Yogendra Yadav as AAP's ideologue is a regular contributor to Economic and Political Weekly a communist journal. It is impossible for him to think beyond Marxism. AAP's manifesto reflects that. Surjit Bhalla and R. Jagganathan have correctly pointed out this. This is the same ideology that has been thrust on India since 67 years via Congress, Communists and all flavors of Socialists. Destruction of wealth and distribute and romanticize poverty. So AAP is not a new kid it is 67 years old idiot who doesn't want to change.

    ReplyDelete

    1. But i guess, what needs to be noted here is that this ideology and manifesto is up for questioning and revision. One cannot forget that AAP spoke about and implemented an open system and environment instead of the closed, dictatorial and patronizing norms of the other parties, which is the first step of changing the paradigm at play.

      Delete
    2. If it is open for questioning and revisions then this is contradiction. Just consider their slogan of providing free housing and free water. These are the schemes offered by them to Delhi voters. Now if these things are not implementable they will change it, according to you. So everything is open for questioning and revision. What kind of a party is this? What sort of leadership is this? Look at China Communist party. They had courage to change their course on Economy because they accepted the responsibility of running a country and had to face reality squarely. Indian Communists are parasites and communal. That is why 35 years of Communists rule kept WB underdeveloped. And all BIMARU states were ruled either by Socialists, Congress or Communists.

But this time you sound little desperate at the prospect of BJP not being able to make government and fearing AAP. So you started targetting Kejriwal. You want Kejriwal to make government so that his pre-polls promise goes ro dustbin and destroy this party. What AAP is doing will eventually help India - if not immediately in near future but soon. No leader is bigger whether Modi or Kejriwal. The focus should be save India from morons. The same desperation can be seen in the majority of BJP spokesperson appearing on the TV new channel. For example Meenakshi Lekhi talking about doctored CD to Shazia Ilmi and one other BJP supporter saying "kahaan Raja bhoj aur gangwa teli" to Yogendra Yadav. And Shahnawaz Hussain calling AAP a bubble. BJP is hell bent on winning the debate point and I have never seen it appreciating good thing - no matter what the party is.UNLESS they realize that winning debate at all cost doesn't go well with AN ORDINARY PERSON LIKE ME. I remember and I was disgusted when both BJP and congress raised questions on AAP funding. Since I personally contributed I felt that BJP is stupid to question the most clean party as of today- AAP. and one of the prime reason For me not giving vote to BJP in delhi was because BJP is in MCD. I am seeing for past 5 years they break pavement which are in good condition and make them again with sub-standard material and loot the tax money. In Vikaspuri there are gates already being erected by RWA on the streets. Before election MCD/BJP have started making a new gate over the existing gate. They never asked what do you need. Vikaspuri needs speed breakers in residential area not double-gates. This where Kejriwal beats the shit out of BJP in Delhi. On rising school fee in private schoold not a single BJP moron has raised this issue for years. And they look like shaking hands with Congress. Unless you show some thing concrete on the ground and if AAP can hold itrs ground-BJP will be decimated like congress in future. Learn to acknolwedge that someone has been giving better solution and send BJP representatives on TV who has the skin to withstand criticism- OTHERwise you will keep smiling at winning debate point but losing aam aadmi' support.

    1. On one hand your hero Kejriwal calls every one as chor, corrupt, besharam and on other hand his followers expect everyone to say all nice things about him. I know this leftist Jholawala group has no past experience even in municipality which they can showcase as their achievement, I remember Kejriwal as a person who ran away twice in the mid of his fast unto death stunt. Non-stop TV coverage by the media, who have their own agenda, may confuse voters once but you can't repeat the same trick twice. Very soon public will get bored of continuous blabbering and lecturing and then you would realize the media is busy in creating another paper tiger to fight with Modi.

    2. @AnilKumar

Im replying to you but this is actually meant for all readers who are reading the post the way you have. Firstly, no post here is written to seek agreement. If that was the case I should be writing in the MSM where it will be easy to write agreement-seeking articles. That settled..

In the previous post I chastised BJP Delhi team for managing their show badly. That pleased you? Hahhaa.. As a writer I dont give a damn who forms the govt. I am a confirmed Anti-Congress person for many reasons, does that mean I would be troubled if Congress came to power in Delhi?

Some of you are clearly confused on how you read the post. The topic is surely AAP and AK but the FOCUS is not. The focus is clearly on the "proxies" and their conduct and that is indeed the TITLE of the post. You will read more of this in a later post too. The 4 media crooks and their agenda is the topic of the post, although AK simply happens to be their hitman.

This also applies to @PPR and a few others who are confusing this to be a post about AK. AK is like the "heat conductor" that the crooks under discussion are using. I hope that clarifies on the nature of the post.

    3. Rightly said Anil.... we should also not forget mcd where bjp has full majority. And every delhiite know that this mcd is the most currupt body on earth. I just wonder why namo kept silent on the 'rti for pol parties' matter... I think if some starts writing about bjp, namo and its other leaders, the article would run into hundreds of pages.... why we are bashing all the supporters of aap when everybody here is supporting bjp... aren't we working as proxies of namo / bjp? We must not forget that half of the sitting mlas of bjp in delhi lost badly, not because of aap but because they are currupt and non performing. Bjp's share of total votes also went down this time. And when so much people reject a party, they all cant be wrong. Just think why many sitting ministers of bjp in madhyabpradesh lost this time... I just wish to convey that all the parties shuld be weighed equally without taking any inference from these so called proxies, including this mediacrook... I also do not aap and ak nor pappu or scamgress... but the one thing I like is that this aap episode has forced everybody to think twice about all parties.

    4. If AAP is so wonderful (on paper), shouldn't its supporters who voted for this party look forward to it implementing its plank? So why are they instead making excuses for the AAP for walking the walk instead of just talking the talk? They can start by raising the private school fees, which will hit their leftist elite supporters the most.

    5. Arey bhai,
First let them Govern. It is amusing that people without knowledge of History talk so much of nonsense.
      1. There is so much of skepticism with respect to AAP not because of its clean leaders but because of their economic and social policies. Why don't you people understand that. By the way, when does disagreeing amount to being dishonest and corrupt. We are even offering reasonable excuses why were are still circumspect.
      2. Most of the movements in India even the Congress struggle for independence was achieved with the help of Honest leaders. Early communists, early Jan Sanghis and even Nehru was far more honest and non-corrupt (compared to the one we have). But what they lacked was common sense of understanding economics. Merely having good intentions doesn't serve the people, the agenda and policies must be practical too.
3.AAP with all its focus on corruption thinks that " there must be bad people out there who must be prosecuted and put in jail and voila! corruption will be eliminated". I was once the supporter of the movement for its honesty and determination, but the problem is eliminating corruption involves not huge bureaucratic evil behemoth structure but transparency in policies, efficiency in implementation and letting market forces play where you do not distort the markets (eg PDI) using unwarranted subsidies. If passing Lokpal bill was cure for all ills, why would west (or japan) have to painfully build their economies pushing transparency and efforts to create level playing fields all these decades.
4.The populist policies of providing free goodies (electricity or water) has what turned congress into the most corrupt party and when legislators are given powers to decide who should get the services, corruption is inevitable outcome. The problem is AAP doesn't understand that.
5.Their policies on National security, secularism and terrorism are even more amusing to start with.
6.AK's limited understanding of how NGO's use foreign money (his was one to start with) to stall important developments like establishment of Nuclear reactors unnerves many.
7.Sadly though, keeping oneself completely isolated from mainstream political parties won't serve the purpose too. This was what Anna warned before, that once you go the political way, you have to make compromises to achieve even little. AK must join mainstream political parties to coerce at least small changes which he thinks is good.
8.Please read in firstpost how similar movements have fizzled out due to lack of sustained focus on realistic political involvement with political parties.
9.Calling everyone corrupt is not going to help him, AK has corrected his stance on this a little but most of this supporters and his core group still cling to the same rhetoric and that is sad.
      10. He seems to have very little understanding about how wealth is created, you know, you have to initially bribe the multinationals to set shop in our country (if that means corruption to you then good luck!!) by offering cheap land and cheap loans and services(water and electricity). Allow them to come in, improve employment, generate exports and production, improve capacities of the people.
This will not only change the work culture but will encourage local entrepreneurs and challenge the multinationals. Indians will learn new technolgies and management practices and will develop better brands additionally adding billions of dollars to state coffers. If you are bent on offering socialist solutions, you end up with what congress is today (albeit more corrupt) with low growth and high inflation.
Remember CPM of west bengal was not known to be so corrupt afterall, but look what it managed to create. A stalinitst state devoid of any growth and prosperity.

This is really high time. The massive pains taken by you so far in writing these articles should bear the fruit. The facts need to be spread in common public by whatever genuine way we can.

I suggest can like minded people reading this blog come together and do some brain storming on how this could be done. This is the need of the hour. Not much time left for the finals. Lets go for it with full vigour.

Its now or never. Can we think on this on a serious note?

Lets contact them if Ravinar allows.

  42. So the post started with

person’s political ideology is formed very early and doesn’t change unless something dramatic happens. Does Arvind Kejriwal really want to form a govt and deliver on his party’s promises? I had doubted this since they day he called “Modi corrupt”.

    Who is favoring who?

  43. Just consider these ironical facts:

    1) AAP actually helps BJP. But for AAP presence, Sheila Dikshit would have scrapped through with a workable majority and would have become the first woman to become CM for the fourth time.

    2) But for Namo's last minute rallies in Delhi, AAP would have come out with a clean majority.

  44. After the unprecedented success of the assembly polls, BJP should now concentrate on economic policies, and start releasing policies one by one instead of taking its own time to release the vision document. I understand BJP is considering total abolition of income tax, sales tax and central excise, and introduce instead an expenditure tax and transaction tax. If so, decide and declare one by one such revolutionary policies.

    ReplyDelete
  45. That what AK thinks he is delivering through his mouth is correct is very much true. I've felt it numerous times. That "Congress and BJP must join hands to form Delhi government" comment is one of those bizzare....

    ReplyDelete
  46. For the first time Ravinar sounded somewhat frustrated. He wasted enough time and space for AAP.
No one may agree with me. My take is that congress deliberately conceded to AAP. They knew they had little chance of returning, so they abandoned campaign.
They are ready to lose to stop BJP. Hoping to get support of winning party. Had BSP been a little stronger they would have done the same in MP.
Congress is doing exactly the same in two regions of AP today. The AP re-organization bill is proposed such a way that Royal Seema and Kosta regions are ignored completely. High command even insulting their own leaders from these regions. This is generating more and more anger among congress leaders as well as common people. Now all this anger will transform into a vote in favor of Jagan and not TDP. As Diggy Raja said Jagan and congress share same DNA of corruption. Jagan will switch the loyalties depending on election outcome.

As far as AAP is considered, I still believe it is over ambitious and end up as flash in the pan. It is not easy for a government to solve Delhi problems, at least the way AAP promised. In power or out of it. It cannot sustain too long on high moral ground.
I am confident and wish AAP ends this way.
What AAP doing is nothing but crowd souring of governance. If stretched beyond a limit, it leads to only one thing ANARCHY.

    1. AAP is a useless crop of pseudo activists. When Con is supporting them, why are they not forming the govt? What are they trying to show? They are over confident of the re-polls. Let it happen. Let Delhi decides whether they want a sustained govt or a bol-bachchan govt.

      Delete
    2. Exactly! BJP should not form the government at any cost. This will force re-poll. There are high chances of AAP euphoria coming down and traditional voter returning to traditional parties.

      Delete
    3. @AN : as for your question as why AAP is not forming the government even if Congress is ready to give the "so-called" unconditional support to AAP.
I guess you should see how politics has always functioned in India. A coalition basically means a deal. Right now, no party has a majority in Delhi, and forming a government with coalition will have two drawbacks :

      1. Destroying the very basis of the campaign of AAP : which is anti-traditional politics

      2. Since AAP is not in majority, if AAP tries and do anything which directly or in-directly hampers Congress, they will take a stand of "Dont implement this or we will pull the support".
Now on this, you can say the Lok sabha elections are coming and Congress will dare not do so.
On this, tell me what happens after Lok sabha elections ?
And also, what about the fickle minded mentality of Indians, which congress seems to use very wisely, which is to introduce a controversial topic eack and every time protest against congress gets heated up.

    4. @Ankur, I hope people illusion with AAP will end soon. What a mockery AK is trying to make? Sending a list of agenda to BJP/INC. Let AAP fulfill the promises made to public on which they contested elections. Now they are running away from it. When INC has extended unconditional support why they will take back the support? AK is playing too safe and smart. They do not want to get themselves exposed to the tall claims made by them. They just played with emotions of people. Now, they say that Anna's version is different from their's Lokpal and calling this as Jokepal. Lolz. They are now ditching Anna as well as the platform that all these activists used to enter the political arena. As someone said, this is a B team only minus the royals.

  50. Kejriwal is a spoiler, a second guesser, person who criticizes, he should have played like this or bowled like this without ever playing the game. He was never made to actually run a government. If he has his way, he would always stay in the opposition.

MSM's hatred for Mr. Modi (and BJP) is so great, nobody questioned AAP's secular credentials when AAP supporters were chanting "Vandemataram" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" No so called secular Pundit raised that point, not even Muslim commentators in any so called secular magazine article praising AAP.

  51. This article I think is unfair on AAP's abilities. They are a new party which has caught the fancy of young Indian voters. We need to give them some time, see how they run the party either in power or opposition to see if they really have the abilities to bring in the change they are talking about.. Winning an election is the first thing and the next step is to prove their worth.

Can BJP field only clean candidates ?

Obviously, the AAP as a clean party must shy away from Drinks, Tobacco and other zeher(not satta like which madam says as you have already tasted that). AK would say I have become the CM of Delhi in one month(may be one year of Anna supported movement which he ditched), PM in 6 months(as he feels that NaMo will not be able to stand against AAP aandhi). Let him try being a US president whenever elections arise there.

    4. All I want to say here is, if you want to see how the policies of AAP can be really implemented, ask a question to AK. He will give you an answer which, if you understand a bit of economics, will not seem impossible.
I am sure you can say it is difficult but not IMPOSSIBLE.

I am not an AAP supporter as such, but I like the fact that each and every policies he suggests and the answers actually make sense unlike MOST of the politicians.

And if are worried about the accusations against him, tell me this, why the party in power and the other major opposition party, which are "enemies" in a way, had to stoop so low as to orchestrate a sting operation against AAP if they had anything against them.

The fact that AAP could stand and still can against these two mammoths means that they dont have ditches in their profile.

      Delete
    5. @Ankur-I will not talk about the sting operation as it can be orchestrated but before you claim that it was done by opposition parties, can you please confirm the authenticity of your statement? They themselves investigated it and gave them a clean chit with a pat on their backs.
Earlier I used to follow AK and AAP. Slowly, I realized that this is pseudo activism just to disguise people on the name of unrealizable dreams. You must be remembering the sensational 'khulase' that he used to do every week. What happened to them? Did it reached any logical conclusion? Were the charges proved correct by the competent authorities? Do not malign people and other parties as if its a hobby. Blowing the whistle without any details of facts will not work anymore. Secondly, do not consider the whole world corrupt, shameless and pimps except you and your party. Thirdly, have some manners and humbleness while addressing to public or speaking to media. Lastly, have guts to form the government without the strings attached(like the so called 18 point agenda being sent to INC and BJP). What is he trying to show? Let re-polls happen. We will not get fooled this time.
We all want to see a strong, decision making leader as both at state and centre and I am sure that AK nor his party is prudent and mature enough to be voted for.

  54. AAP as expected have announced their plan to fight Lok Sabha elections at National Level. Delhi has elected them - and whether right or wrong will come out as the time passes.

But is fighting and winning in general elections same as fighting assembly elections in Delhi. I have a few points - which nobody seems to be mentioning:

    a) If you look at the map of Delhi - AAP has won mostly in urban areas of Delhi. They have not been able to win in outer or rural areas of Delhi.
    b) In Delhi assembly - the urban seats mostly consists of urban voters - or voters in slums in these areas. Therefore - they have won with a specific category of voters - urban or semi-urban only.
    c) In general elections - the constituency are much bigger in size - with varied population - with a large number of rural voters.

    Now:

    a) Would they have same influence with those rural voters of the extended constituency?
    b) Even they are able to field candidates and get volunteers to fight elections - would they have resources and organization to reach every village in the constitutency - and create awareness for their candidates - who would most probably be newbies - unless they come from Congress / BJP - as Kejriwal has announced today?

It's a shame some or most of the AAP followers are brazenly behind this so called 'new breed of politics' that stinks of populism and doles. 60. AAP supporters, let's face it. The growing support for BJP is stemming from the fact that people including me want to re-establish the Hindu and Sanatan way of life in India. We have lost a major portion of this great heritage and life right from the mughal period to the British and now these pseudo secularists. BJP is the only party whose ideology comes close to this. AAP may turn out to be a good party but can they turn India into Bharat. I highly doubt. Modi's agenda can be clearly seen that he wants to establish an Akhanda Bharat... just like Chanakya wanted, whose glory would be seen and talked about far and wide. Now by supporting Akhanda Bharat, Sanatan and Hindutva it doesn't mean we want to establish radicalism and fanaticism... That is best left to the congress. To understand Hindutva you need to understand its actual definition and not look at it from the prism of the sickulrists.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Please elaborate this ideology of Hindutva that needs to be restored in this country? Why is it again tethered to a communal identity, are you saying we can't think beyond that and consider a rationale constitutional paradigm, where every citizen is treated equally ?

      Delete
    2. No he is not saying that. That is the interpretation you want to impose. Which is why any elucidation of his position is likely to lead to the same old deliberate obfuscations and misrepresentations.

India's soul is Dharmic, period. There are far too many people (the real "communals") who neither understand this nor respect it and want to destroy it. Without it the nation is doomed and there are still enough of us left to recognise this and be concerned about it. This is a fact whether people like you understand it or not.

      Delete
    3. I appreciate your reply. My intent was not to impose any interpretation, but clarify this position that is easily misrepresented. What you present as a fact, can be contested as an opinion, that you are trying to impose. Yes I can agree that India's soul is Dharmic to some degree, though I don't really understand what that means in totality. However I disagree with the claim that this nation is doomed due to my failure to understand it. The concept of nation state has to transgress such esoteric and closed interpretations. Illuminate us/me further about this claim that you believe as fact however didactic it might sound , I promise no deliberate obfuscations but a constructive debate since I fail to understand your point of view and that of the original comment.

      Delete
    4. @Bharath, Hindutva is actually the highest form of secularism. While the media has started defining it as the epitome of communalism which is totally opposite. Hindutva is sam-bhaav, and non exclusivity. It means peaceful coexistence of a multitude of faiths professions castes races etc. It provides and nurtures for this by its very principles. India is the only country in which such a diverse culture developed and so many religions were born. Even when Modi talks of having Ram Rajjya, what does he really mean by Ram Rajjya? Media would easily cash in on that term and equate it to communalism and fanaticism towards Shri Ram, where as Ram Rajjya is actually a utopian world where there is scope for righteousness and where leaders live for the praja and the kingdom is run by the praja. The modern mindset and media have really lost the plot and conscience when they redefine these terms to suit their personal agendas.

      Delete
    5. Don't forget, the real Hindutva was flourishing when we welcomed Parsies who became refugees from Persia (Iran) and the literature is full of information that says Jesus Christ spent his 'missing' years in India educating himself about the values we Hindus possessed.

      Delete
    6. Ok fine. But so what ? Why do we need BJP to realise this Utopia ? A good transparent Governance based on the constitution sounds identical to this vision and free from all religious connotations. So how is Modi and the BJP vision any better, than a rational and objective paradigm, that does away with vote bank theatrics and identity/history based rhetoric.

This does not in any way affect national/cultural pride as they remain free to be practiced in private.

Why do we need this esoteric narrative and labels pasted on top of a heterogeneous landscape that can actually co-exist and prosper in peace, by following the constitutional vision implemented without bias and efficiency.

      Delete
    7. @The Seeker Why do we want India turned into a Bharat ? Who cares. What difference does it make ? Turn India into an efficient prosperous unbiased India. Strengthen the local economy from within, become a strong global participant, critically re-examine reservation policies and their inherent biases. Educate the population to understand that you can't constantly make a hue and cry and influence the political narrative using an identity. What if help is only extended on the basis of economic deprivation or criminal injustice, if that is the case how does Identity play any significant role in governance. Restore lost heritage and such issues through cultural revival. Don't drag the issue of governance into it. Development , progress and high forms of secularism can come into being without all of this loaded, irrelevant rhetoric. Please realize that the common goal between a lot of Indians are similar in nature. Let's get mature, state the vision in its rawest form and enlighten the small minded citizens, and for that to happen India doesn't need to become a Bharat.

Then I suggest you educate yourself before passing judgment that others are trying to "impose an opinion". You cannot admit you don't understand something and then purport to hold a different opinion - that has no credibility. Not to mention your rather unsubtle and perfectly deliberate attempt to:

      (1) equate Hindutva with unequal treatment of citizens;
      (2) labelling Hindutva (and Modi and the BJP) as irrational and unobjective;
      (3) implying that being efficient, prosperous and "unbiased" means India rather than Bharat.

This despite Seeker's clear pre-emption of what is a well-established mendacious narrative employed by professional anti-Hindus with a clear agenda and no interest whatsoever in reasoned debate - a pattern so far you have fit very snugly.

"However I disagree with the claim that this nation is doomed due to my failure to understand it."

That straw must be making you itchy. Nobody here said that your understanding or lack thereof was responsible for the fate of India - that is perhaps a reflection of your own distended sense of self-importance. What I said was that the reality of the importance of Dharma to India's survival was independent of the ability of people like you to recognise it.

"The concept of nation state has to transgress such esoteric and closed interpretations. Illuminate us/me further about this claim that you believe as fact however didactic it might sound"

Why is the concept of "nation state" the sole driver of interpretations here? And why is it esoteric, or a closed interpretation? Again, you are making assumptions (in fact, being purposefully disingenuous) about something which YOU SAY YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND. I think you are perfectly clear on what you DO want for India, which you won't openly admit here.

At stake here (for those of us who care) is the civilisational identity of Bharat which has survived for millennia and transcends functional, academic constructs such as the modern "nation-state", even if Modern India is the current representation of that civilisation. Bharat is not just a lump of earth, it is the land of Dharma and Indic civilisation, and has been for time immemorial. That identity permeates the entire land and is the fundamental basis for the inherent tolerance of the Hindu soul and our deep-rooted recognition of the importance and majesty of diversity on Earth. The survival of this spirit is not only critical for India, but humanity as a whole. You won't understand this, and may respond with deluded (and expected) supercilousness, but it isn't something that can be described with a few formulae on a blackboard and a couple of posts on an Internet blog. If you genuinely want to understand, the onus is on you to find a teacher, read some books, make a genuine effort to understand (and from GENUINE QUALIFIED sources who live and love the life, rather than anti-Hindu propaganda merchants), rather than bursting onto a public forum, making snide remarks whilst purporting to be honest, claiming ignorance while simultaneously passing judgement, and then demanding that others educate you. But then the honest pursuit of cognisance isn't your objective here, is it?

    9. Lose the essence of Indic civilisation, and what is left? Particularly in India? A bunch of discordant, adversarial, intolerant, self-indulgent ideologies and world-views, usually with a pathological compulsion to impose its own brand of homogeneity on the world. Islam, Christianity, Communism, Atheism et al. Tell me, do you ever pontificate to adherents of these cults? I doubt it. I'm sure agnosia sets in for you where they are concerned. In fact, I think there's a good chance you fall into one of those categories.

As for your most recent post - perhaps you'd like to point out exactly WHY returning to Bharat, or having Modi and the BJP in charge, won't address all of the practical issues you raise? Isn't Modi specifically trying to shun identity politics? Isn't he focusing on governance and equal treatment rather than pandering to religious blocs, Muslim or Hindu or whatever? Isn't his USP the combination of eliminating corruption, high competence, no appeasement (i.e. equal treatment), economic and material development, a vision of a prosperous India nationwide and globally? And you ask why we need the BJP? And why should we not want a return to Bharat, where moral standards, nobility, tolerance and justice manifest at their highest point, and where the dysfunction we see today would simply dissolve? It's paradoxical (in fact deceptive) for you to be parsimonious about such issues and then disingenuously ask why we need the very things (only things) that will make them possible.

So sorry Comrade. We need BJP because (1) they are the only representative of the Indic identity, even if they are far from perfect and have their own issues of dysfunction; (2) Modi is a member of the BJP and he is the only politician who has the will, ability and fortitude to curtail and reverse the disaster we are facing - not just in India, but also in terms of cleaning up the BJP. A bunch of communists like AAP: (1) offer nothing that Modi doesn't; (2) have proven nothing regarding competence in governance; (3) would continue the same routine of stamping on the sentiments of the Hindus they and their ilk hate; and (4) would inevitably pour oil on the fire by enacting brain-dead Communist policies which only idiots can't see through. It is painful (though unfortunately not surprising based on their track record) that people are naive enough to even considering giving this bunch an opportunity to screw things up even more.

I usually post once (or at most) twice in response to pseudo-intellectual malefactors on fora, primarily as a matter of principle and for the sake of making an important point. After that, I drop out since reasoned debate is not the objective of such people. They are simply following the itinerary of repeating the same bullshit as much as possible in the hope they can brainwash more unfortunates, and going around in circles and dancing the dandiya of deception isn't a game I enjoy. So I'm done with this particular conversation.

    10. So deluded that you assume everyone is Anti - Hindu. It is a sad state of affairs , reflecting paranoia and insecurity. Not able to discern genuine inquiry from this so called itinerary and pattern, reflects extreme prejudice.

This is the form of bias and prejudice that leaves me so confused especially when it is indicative of intelligence, aggression in the same breath. This exactly the type of aura that BJP supporters have created for itself, such posturing that keeps many people at arm's length.

For the record I have been equally skeptical about Islam, Christianity, Communism, Atheism. But how easy and careless to assume against that. Isn't that a form of homogenization and stereotyping ? What if I tell you I am agnostic ? Oh another deluded character you might say ? completely discounting the fact there is a possibility that he must be actively evaluating the confusing myriad of world-views.

Anyways, at a level of personal politics I am so glad that I have been able to transcend such petty prejudice, and that is not just me but a big number of emerging electorate population.

I thank you for taking so much effort and articulating your thoughts with clarity.

Looks like you will drop out of this debate/conversation for which you already taken a pre-emptive alibi. So I don't want to take effort and type out my reaction. As it will go unheard, and most importantly will be clearly interpreted with heavy prejudice.

    11. But here goes one point. This utopic vision called ' Bharat '. Ok, great it is a good vision. Every group/faction has a vision and I don't see how it is any different. Communism was a good vision, with very similar end results that was realised, implemented and executed carelessly and abused thereafter. These ideology that we speak of are the result of Imaginary visions shaped by sense of belonging and general upbringing, a result of a specific set of variables and environmental factors, which can vary to a great extent, even if you share this georgraphical land mass or it's socio cultural narrative and precedence . You or anyone is deluded if you believe that is a unifying vision in this pluralistic Post-Modern world. If you belive that firmly, you are disrespecting a long history and many other ideologies that have stemmed afterwards and hoping for some sort neo revivalism of a paradigm that is actually an artifice.

Oh no ! you subscribe to the hollow world-view devoid of Gods and altruism so much anarchy, chaos , discordant, adversarial, intolerant, self-indulgent. Atheism and agnostic ideals are not un-vedic or alien to this Akhanda Bharat/Sind paradigm either. So like i said it remains the private matter of people.

Yes Modi appears to have this similar vision of quality governance, but the mechanisms, tone and rhetoric of this individual and the party carries heavy baggage and have gotten into lots of trouble themselves. Muffazarnagar riots. Documented Violence and intolerance from VHP and other Sangh Parivar. And please before you jump the gun, this does not discount the good work that BJP and RSS has done either. Maybe Modi should float a fisically liberal and conservative party, without relying on the endorsements of such controversial group. I am not even bringing 2002 on to the table.

You see, there are people who are genuinely concerned for the state of affairs in India who dont relate to current form and rhetoric of the BJP, that doesn't mean that they are anti-Hindu or Pro-Congress. The deliberate removal of nuances is a form of Tyranny.

Having said that people like me are skeptical of MSM, which is indicated by coming to this Blog. and are not easily misguided by the anti-BJP discourse allegedly practiced by MSM.

So it comes down to this, we have similar goals full of ideals and utopic values but different paths to attain it, we are ( I am) yet to find a political party and ideology that strikes a chord with us. I want to hear out and understand the existing ones at offer too as i don't subscribe to prejudice.

    12. I have read what you have to say repeatedly, and I think I understand your point of view. You are talking about an ancient time in which apparently society was extremely tolerant and pluralistic. ( Backed by historical evidence of Mythological References , I am not sure ) .

This enlightened understanding is great, now explain it to the BJP party workers in Bangalore, who repeatedly use this ( now apparently misunderstood and mistranslated ) cultural memory and ideal against women and in myriad forms of MORAL POLICING !

Don't tell me this Mainstream Media's doing. I have spoken to eye-witnesses. But yes you already said that BJP has its internal flaws, and that I have to understand this ideology from the right sources. Tell me aren't you equally naive to state that :
" And why should we not want a return to Bharat, where moral standards, nobility, tolerance and justice manifest at their highest point, and where the dysfunction we see today would simply dissolve? "

The rhetoric and labels that you use have been instruments and misused as arguments to support intolerance and moral policing by this very BJP , its allies and sub groups that you speak highly off.

    13. I wonder why the Caste system and casteism co-existed with this high form of utopian secularism that you speak of?

Isn't it ironic that you have to refer to an ancient past, and that you have to re-iterate that one needs to go and find the right resources to re learn what it all means. Doesn't that itself indicate how the present conditions are different ? Doesn't that completely challenge this statement that " India's soul is Dharmic. Period "

Isn't this shying away from confronting the present state of reality and complexities and nuances ? Or are you claiming that this dharmic culture does exactly that ?

Do you know who else spoke of reviving and reintroducing a narrative and rhetoric into the collective conscience of a country? Adolf Hitler.

No this doesn't equate or compare anyone to Hitler. I am drawing an Analogy to this obsession of reintroducing ideas, especially in the realm of cultural/political identity and pride that are not reflective of the demographic, where the pure interpretation of it can only be accessed by a sort of indoctrination, where one has to go searching for the right sources.

However one is free to propagate and practice their ideas and in indoctrinate others without resorting to force.

  61. Anna hazare has started another fast and there is hardly any buzz around it. This is India. Nothing is sacred here . We all live from moment to moment . People make choices as they deem fit for their interests . So congress will do whatever it takes to prevent Modi and BJP from coming to power ( including self capitulation ), AAP will do whatever it takes for its long term survival and so will every other party. For 28 assembly seats in a seventy seater assembly it had to spend 20 crores or there about in a 3000 sq km area of electorate . So the financial challenges and logistics are far too different when one talks at a national level. MSM propping up AAP is for its own selfish interest . So be it. Even in all this JPC on 2G got tabled. And hardly anyone discussed about it. AAP has not been able to win a majority ( which I was expecting in july/august ) in a seventy member assembly. It will take time reality to not just sink in but also to get accepted . It is for people to make their choices and we make the world we live in

  62. I want to share an intersting tidbit i got . The thinking level of MSM morons is reflected here. Read and think.:

    Japan Tokyo:
A man accidentally tore a girl’s short miniskirt in Tokyo. Before he had a chance to apologize, the girl did a 90 degree bow, and said: “I am sorry to give you trouble! The quality of my skirt is not good.” Then she took out a pin, put the skirt back together and left.

    In India:
A man accidentally tore the miniskirt of a girl. Before he could say anything, Barkha Datt, Rajdeep Sardesai and Arnab Goswami pounced on him and accused him of attempted rape and started panel discussion on what to do with him... and Congress blamed MODI for that!!!!!!!!!!

BJP guys did not show up till 15 days left for election, whereas AAP guys worked for over 3 months and showed sincereity in knowing our problems and trying to issue a solution in their manifesto.water ,electricity ,price rise is a far bigger issue for a common man then article 370 ,ram mandir rhetoric.his campaign touched d people day to day lives and that is why he has 28 seats.he may fail ,but he looked sincere n genuine as compared to BJP who wanted votes only in name of MODI.
its a wake up call for BJP n MODI .we want action on ground to improve our day to day lives.regards

U can always trust Modi ...he is proven ... but for AAP there is big "?" specially after reading their economic manifesto.

    3. What is so different about AAP? The same old hobnobbing with the Fatwa happy bigots, the same old foul mouthed rhetoric (Kejriwal is a motormouth himself), the same old passing the buck.
On the one hand AK and the media is shouting from the rooftops that it's AAP's win all the way but AAP wants BJP to form the government because (this is mentioned just as a footnote) BJP is the singe largest party. The same old distortion of facts that congress is so famous for.
Pray tell me what is so different and refreshing about AAP? There is already a molestation case against one of it's MLA candidates. AK was grandly posturing and making unsubstantiated accusations that BJP is trying to poach his party members. Did he ever provide an iota of proof?
The only thing that is refreshing about AAP is that they call themselves (rather certify themselves) clean and they think they are qulified to certify everyone else. What a load of nonsense.
So far people like you were fooled with Con-gress' secular nonsense and now you are being fooled by AAP's clean/fresh/revolutionary (take your pick) nonsense.
It's saddens me to say that, yes 'you can fool all the people all the time'. If you need proof, take a look at the APP bhakts.

MSM as per instructions from Congress trying their best to prod AAP as all India challenge but elections are fought in booths and not in TV studios.

  67. A note on AAP

The problem with frivolous intellectualism is it always hyper-reacts. Before the Delhi election everybody was busy under-estimating AAP and now everybody is busy over-estimating and over analyzing the AAP phenomenon. We get to hear such humungous theories from TV studios as to how AAP would now be a national party and how Arvind Kejriwal would be the PM candidate of the third front! Nobody bothers to tell us how AAP will replicate its limited success of a rootless city like Delhi in other metros; for instance, how will AAP gather votes in Mumbai where fault-lines are between Maharashtrians and outsiders, or say in Hyderabad where there are agitations for and against Telangana or even in say, Lucknow, where the politics of identity is foremost.

Even the success of AAP in Delhi is a one-off phenomenon that has come about through a string of coincidences – a very unpopular government, agitations of the past year on a range of issues from corruption to women’s safety, passionate participation of youth (who have long-term attention deficiency as always) and a moribund opposition which woke up much later in the day and yet managed to be the single largest party. Arvind Kejriwal is making a classic mistake once again. He is taking this one-off support of the people of Delhi for granted and wants to go for polls once again based on some ludicrous suggestions that AAP has the momentum and will gain a 2/3rd majority in a re-poll.
    What is more likely to happen is quite the opposite;

    1) Voters passion would have come down a couple of notches in about 3-4 months and AAP would never be able to get the same kind of volunteer participation as they got this time, no matter what kind of funds they manage (this is exactly what happened with the Anna movement which eventually fizzled out despite huge initial success)
    2) With the passage of time, basic every day governance delivery issues will become important and the greenhorn MLAs of AAP would be answerless to voters queries especially in a situation where there is no government
The Voter anger against Sheila Dixit would also be much reduced in a few months’ time and all Congress needs to do is regain some 3-5% of the vote share to overtake AAP
    3) If Delhi elections are held along with LS polls, which is the only practical possibility as far as the EC policy on repolling is concerned, then AAP would come a cropper as it is a well-established fact that almost 65% of AAP voters want to vote for Modi in the LS polls
    4) Even if Delhi elections are held separately, all that BJP/Congress have to do is manage better ticket distribution by giving more tickets to young professionals rather than tired old faces and AAP would lose its only USP
    5) At least half a dozen seats are such where AAP has won by a very narrow margin and as such it won’t be sustainable in another election
At the end of the day, far from going national, AAP stands vulnerable in the only state that it has performed, as we move closer towards 2014 elections.

    ReplyDelete
  70. it is true that the AAP doesn't really carry the experience and infrastructure at an organizational level, nor a long legacy of social work and narrative in the collective consciousness of the public, but that itself could be the most important shift that everyone stumbles to point out.

The changing priority in ones personal politics, which is no longer in favor of legacy, communal identity and nationalistic ego but more towards a rationally driven collective well being. One that can be simplistically equated or misunderstood as the aspiration for ' Development and Progress ' , which is not the explicit core mandate of the AAP, but perhaps that of another popular and emerging force.

Narendra Modi talks of an outcome, an easier pitch to digest and get excited by. Perhaps, the AAP signifies the inter mediatory process that is inevitable for a sustainable end result, an ugly truth that cannot be easily marketed.

But the important question is, are we seeing the dawn of a much awaited form of rationally driven politics and governance ? An amalgamation of the various historical narratives and value systems, a redefined reflection of the contemporary Indian, a crowd sourced governing body ( whose mechanisms i cannot elaborate here ), free from the confines of an overbearing centralized ideology and baggage, except that of constitutional principles , fearless of identity driven vote banks, in sync with the insecurities of the rural farmer and an urban technologist, incorruptible by the interests of business conglomerates, agile, transparent, fast, firm, humble, self critical and adaptive ?

That could be a naive and distant dream for some or a dystopian future with a spine less, shape shifting leadership, distant from ground realities for some other.

In our immediate reality, we still see individuals and mobs that exercise politics on survival instinct, insecurity, self interest and nepotism without one bit of remorse. As an optimist I have been asked to be happy with the current agenda that has caught everyone's imagination. One that is apparently not explicitly abusing caste, community or religious identity, nor the glory of a film actor's aura borrowed from a fictitious universe. Thank god (or the scientific community) for that. We are not praying or expecting a spiritual shift of a hedonistic, self interested citizen to that of a saintly altruist either.

In this instance, I am reminded of the capitalist and free market ideal which goes like this ' Self interest can drive the economy, and the rotation of wealth can benefit the self and the public at the same time, provided that there is a fair and transparent legal infrastructure, where one cannot exercise any benefits beyond ones return on their exercised ability and effort.' So the nature of politics in India based on self interest, constantly holds the definition of 'ability' in conjunction with identity, at ransom, in the form of reservation, minority appeasement and vote bank theatrics. It also blatantly misuses the legal infrastructure in the form of corruption. Though I digress, it is important to note that the resurgence of a political intervention of this nature, from the middle class could very well be a manifestation of this capitalist aspiration and dissent towards its obstacles. If that is the case, then, it is not just corruption that has to be fought, but also the politics of identity, which is an inconspicuous pivot with which the BJP scores and loses. However I also want to bring your attention towards theories and observations which claim that capitalist and consumerist expectations transform politics into a giant market survey at its facade. Leadership, public image and manifestos are constructed to align with the expectations of the general public on one side and misconstrued on the other.

  71. This was what I always wanted to say to AAP supporters.
Arey bhai I was also an intial supporter of the movement during Anna agitation but,
First let them Govern.

  72. hi all

I don’t know what to say, I simply don’t know what to say, is anybody listening in bjp, i am screaming – is anybody listening in bjp. are they short on money, are they afraid of anybody, are they unable to think, is there any technical reason, is there any legal reason, if the answer of all of these is ‘no’, if none of the above is true then tell me, please for god’s sake tell me, what on earth stops bjp to have one just one news channel of its own or backed by someone – who thinks one percent just one percent good about bjp. because under the present circumstances, i am sorry to say, howsoever good they try but they are doomed, they are simply doomed.

What is happening is simply unbelievable, simply unimaginable. it was congress, congress, congress before and now it is aap, aap, aap, aap keep counting. if there are 100 news channels in india – hindi, english or regional then not one, not even one news channel is there who has anything good to say about bjp. bjp is being smacked around left, right and centre – black & blue, day in & day out, day after day, day after day by one and all, non-stop, 24×7.

Haven’t they learned even in the last 65 years that not one of the most but ‘the most’ important tool of survival is ’spreading information’. If you are alone, then you can be killed any day any time but if people are aware about you then it becomes that much difficult to even touch you. congress, communist, maoist – well, one & a same thing all are masters of this tool. Infact, with this tool they have not only survived but they have gone many steps further and destroyed many of their adversaries, many of the patriots of our country. fake history, fake events, wrong facts & figures, absurd policies, absurd thinking, i mean, you just name it all our history books, all our text books, all our literature everthing is full of that, thanks to them. is it any wonder then, that they managed to rule us all these 65 years and are still ruling us. and what bjp learned from all of this – well, can i dare to say – just nothing. be it babri masjid matter, be it gujrat 2002, be it muzaffarnagar 2013, be it tehelka-bangaru laxman, or be it the latest so called snoopgate or for that matter of fact,be it being called ‘ the most communal party’ every day, every hour, every minute, every second by every living or non-living organisms of congress & communists, by every tom, dick and harry party & by 100% news channels, whatever is thrown at them, it sticks to them – true – false doesn’t matter. on the other hand – so, so many corruption cases of monstrous proportions like 2g, commonwealth, coalgate, chopper gate and many many more by congress party gets simply pushed under the carpet or simply brushed aside. even the events of most humiliating and horrific nature like india’s defeat at the hands of china in 1962 or imposition of emergency in 1975 ,1984-sikhs massacre and hundreds of hindu-muslim riots since independence all under the ‘great rule of the most’, shall i mention it, yes you guessed it right ‘the most secular party of this world, infact of this whole universe’ – congress are just never talked about.

i don’t how many out there are aware of this fact that the mangalyaan sent to mars was a ‘secular spacecraft’. i guess everybody knows why, because it has been sent in the space under the rule of ‘secular congress.

even the new entrant ‘aap’ has started calling bjp – communal, divisive, religious, fascist, well the list is long, understandably so because the party has been founded by congressi leftovers, die hard communist, maoists, communists in the form of journalists from various news channels. so, isn’t is very obvious and expected of them and now, the next thing they are planning to do very soon – can you guess it – what, well, well – didn’t i mention it – they are masters of that. yes, now you guessed it right – the use of most important tool. the news channels are already of them, by them for them but they are also planning to have their their own newspaper as well which will be a weekly newspaper and will be circulated all across delhi in its first phase. so, you see-getting hold of the the information , spreading of that information. so can you imagine the effects and consequences of that. isn’t it what we are witnessing for the last 65 years.

so lets get back to bjp – what to do – i don’ know, i simply do not know because its they who have to decide – what they couldn’t learn from congress, from communists in last 65 years – will they learn it from aap or will they let it go this time around as well and witness another onslaught of fake history, wrong information, distortion of facts & figures, character assasinations, lies, deceptions. though, i must admit that this time around, there is a glimmer of hope because no doubt, bjp under modi is different. even recently concluded election in four states gave that reflection that how bjp against all odds managed to defeat all their adversaries. infact, bjp decimated them and now it is all the more narender damodardas modi versus all and that all includes unfortunately some of the most seniormost bjp persons as well and we also shouldn’t forget that this time around it’s not bjp which is at stake but our country is at stake. regards

  75. You will know the real face of AAP only after 2014 gen elections. Because, their main aim is to take some votes away from Modi...for that, congress is even ready to sacrifice sheila aunty(thats what shiela aunty said - no support from centre).
Now AAPtards are telling they will field kumar bakwas against Pappu....its again a nautanki....what the diff it is going to make is nothing...it is just a dummy token event to frequently prove AAP is not a B team of Congis.

To all self claimed, intellectuals and political analysers who are supporting AAP, looking at corruption in both Cong and BJP and illogically equating the BJP and congress for their coruption...will be terribly shocked after 2014 May...only if they grow little wiser then.

  76. hi all aap-bhakts , joe & gurukant

aap bhakti is good, but blind aap bhakti is injurious to health & wealth.

mr. joe, please don’t tell lies, when voting continued till late hours and exit polls were being shown all across the news channels then they all were displaying and announing one thing repeatedly and that was – aap is doing spectaculary well. so the ploy was to make everybody at the polling station aware about aap, aap and aap. so, infact it is aap who got benefitted out of the fraud that was perpetrated by news channels.

& mr.gurukant, please study, see, analyse thoroughly before you make any observation. some candidates tainted or accused of crime or fielded by bjp – well, you are right. but how come aap who is party of so called honests and talks about corruption, corruption all the time allowed so many bjp and congress candidates accused of same corruption and crime and who were denied tickets by their respective parties to enter in their party and not only that even fielded them in the elections. Infact, one of aap’s candidate is indicted in delhi lokayukta report related to commonwealth games. how come you missed the ADR report on aap candidates – colour blindedness or another great thing happened – just by joining aap, they became neat and clean & what about the sting conducted on aap candidates – the accused themselves became the investigators and the Judge and pronounced verdict in favour of themselves – some spectacular new legal practice never heard in the world. but wait, if aap has done it – it has to be right - isn’t it , after all, they are the new gods of this world.

as far as donation issue is concerned, i am amazed, i am simply amazed. the same rs.20,000 rule has been taken advantage of even by aap. Infact, it was not bjp or congress who accused them of receiving foreign donations of suspicious nature. it was delhi court who found prima-facie some solid evidences against it and ordered a thorough probe against it. however, everybody from aap, very cunningly made it an issue of aap vs cong, bjp. and by the way, why your prashant bhushan, the great lawyer – right hand of your aap’s supremo who keeps filing PILs against bjp, especially against modi didn’t file a PILagainst bjp and cong in donations matter and if he has then why courts didn’t find any merit in ordering any probe against these parties. Infact, how many aap-bhakts are aware that that prashant bushan is the same person who has filed many PILs against modi for gujrat riots in connivance with congress and foreign funded – teesta seetalvad – who was indicted by none other than supreme court of india for filing false affidavits and false witnesses against modi and gujrat govt. well, aap bhakts – good news for you, celebrate, even in so called snoopgate, he has filed a PIL against modi – well aap-bhakts, how innocent prashant bushan is – isn’t he. should i tell you how much his heart bleeds for naxalites, maoists and kashmiri separatists. go, play kabbadi kabbadi with prashant bhushan. next time, aap-bhakts, do not forget to support him in his fight of liberation of kashmir from india and handing it over to pakistan. pakistan – which is country of pure, where there is so much of peace and where you will never find any ‘ram’, whom you are so ashamed of.

you mentioned another great piece about gujrat lokayukta. do you know what happened to bjp govt. in karnataka. congress continuously for 4 years kept trying to topple bjp govt in that state by hook or by crook. they kept abusing and accusing yeddyurrapa of him being involved in corruption, in mining scams – even all the media channels – who never talked about any state in their debates started talking about karnataka along with gujrat – both bjp ruled states as was ordered by the congress ( remember- most of the news channels are being run by die-hard congress people ). but even after all this, they couldn’t get rid of yeddyurrapa. then, mr. santosh hegde – the karnataka lokayukta did what nobody else could do. he indicted yeddyurrapa in his report and at last congress got rid of mr.yeddy. now aap-bhakts, do you know the what the honourable high court said against that lokayukta report of justice santosh hegde : please read carefully with eyes wide open :-” the Lokayukta and the Governor failed to follow the principles of natural justice. Suspicion cannot be a ground to tarnish the image and reputation of a person holding a constitutional post,” the court said and quashed the FIR against yeddyurrapa. well aap-bhakts, that was the reason modi did what he did. it is the congress govt. at centre that appoint governers ( should i say so clearly – congress loyalists ), then governers foresee the appointment of state lokayukta, that’s what happened in the case of gujrat. when governer ms. kamla beniwal appointed the gujrat lokayukta on its own. that’s where the gujrat lokayukta matter started. and bjp understandably so, after seeing the karnataka episode didn’t want congress to play with the life of mr.modi as well, ( now, who in india or for that matter of fact who on this planet earth doesn’t know that congress wants to destroy mr. modi at any cost, yes, at any cost even at the cost of violation of constitution and violation of laws of supreme courts of india ).

now, aap-bhakts, let’s talk – what happened – why so much of a silence. have all aap-bhakts gone to their homes, not attending aap celebration at jantar-mantar, while anna fasts at ralegaon sidhi all alone.

regards, lots of regards to all the aap-bhakts – have fun in a life full of lies, deception and fraud.

  80. Ravinar, dear friend, is committed to BJP, I mean to Namo. I am 100% in favour of Namo. But when you find new stars brightening up in the horizon, why not welcome those stars?

BJP has tested or tasted power in many states and even at the Center. Let BJP give a conditional time frame of one year to the AAP not to pull off the rug under them. Let the AAP do what they want in the Govt, bring in legislations of any kind. If BJP can identify with what AAP stands, we do not need AAP.

Can BJP digest such a thing in the interest of people? What are the problems of BJP in not being able to agree with AAP.

    1. @M Ramachandran

Once again, while I respond to you, the reply is actually to all who have shared similar sentiments.

It is absurd that so many people think this is about AAP when it is not. I have clarified this in a previous comment above. Still, since so many are wondering.. I am dead against Communists. Commies are not only failures they are also anti-Hindu. I have written a whole series on the Commie poison.

So anyone even remotely thinks AAP is an option to BJP must seriously examine his or her own understanding of policies, ideologies and philosophies. AAP is not an option for BJP. AAP is an extension of Congress or CPM or a smaller kid of Congress. Someone who cares to look deeper will know. The others who just nibble at the grass from the top wont bother.

I am (as does this blog) remain strongly against Communists. That Congress has been given a chance for so long is actually giving a chance to the same ideology that AAP brings. I am not fooled, if someone else is, it is not my problem.

The idea that I am committed to NaMo is as foolish as the previous ideas. I would like you or anyone to show where and in which post does this site endorse NaMo in anyway? Does it endorse him as PM? NaMo received the most severe attack from me on the toilet-temple issue. Even BJP idiots will remember that.

For those who see things through a political lens .. they will make the mistake of thinking that attacking corrupt media is equal to being committed to Namo. This is their problem, not mine.

    2. Dear All,

Ravinar is totally correct when he says that AAP is been projected by the MSM only because they want to somehow project a new avatar against NAMO & try cutting the BJP votes in 2014. They show their acute frustration by Projecting kejriwal who does not have a even an experience of working as a corporator, against NAMO who have impeccable honesty, Strong Governance & World renounced developmental track record !!! AK's talk of corruption & honesty cannot be believed unless he provides a clean, efficient & growth oriented government in Delhi, which he is avoiding. Are his ethics & honesty so brittle that he feels they might be lost after tying up with Congress ???

  81. Aap and Kejriwal's achievements so far have been- leveraging the success of Anna movement to float a runner-up political party and some debatable 'shoot and scoot' re-runs of exposes of politicians and corporate bigwigs.

Although he is being offered support on a platter to form a government, the chances are he won't take it ostensibly on "principles". But as you have rightly pointed out there are two major obstacles- it is one thing to make tall promises and quite another to live up to them. Secondly, for AK and AAP to fulfill their national ambitions, they cannot afford to be pinned down to Delhi.

As for MSM, yesterday's anarchist is suddenly being hailed as today's hero.

  82. BJP can never be a political party. Positive campaign is always good. But political strategy suggests to utilize mistakes by opponents.
All political parties try to accuse Modi as dictator. They never show any incident or policy where he behaved like dictator.
Whereas today SoniaG is bending every constitutional norm in dividing Andhra Pradesh.
Government is hiding all contentious issues from public. An example is legal stand on Article 371D.
Miera kumar rejects resignations of Andhra MPs. She even used discretionary power to suspend them.
Party could not dare suspend them from party, even 3 days after they served no-confidence motion on their own government.
Their own CM revolts but Diggy raja keeps telling "every congress man must abide by CWC decision".
It is not autocratic? Why BJP cannot rake up these in public and expose congress?
In fact Sushmaji is bent on destroying chances of BJP in AP. Her over enthusiasm in support of Telangana clearly indicates that she does not want a single seat for Modi from AP. Either to BJP or potential alliances. Her grudge on Modi will definitely hamper chances of BJP coming to power.

  83. hi all aap-bhakts and mr. ramchandran

i completely agree with you that bjp should support aap. prashant bhushan – who is one of founding members of aap and who infact, is the brain behind many of the legislations, aap plans to have for this country has one such legislation in store for indian state – jammu & kashmir as well. do you know this – no, then let me do the mistake of enlighten you all – this piece of legislation extensively talks about the resolution of kashmir issue, great – isn’t it, isn’t what we all 125 crores of people have always wanted for the last 65 years – didn’t know that he had the solution – poor we, anyway, better late than never.

so let’s start about this great proposal straighaway- how, it advocates of having a referendum among people of kashmir and, and – do you really want me to elaborate it further or shall i stop right here – what say, make up your mind – but i guess, all aap bhakts believe in honesty, so lets tell about it as it is – get ready for this – ‘and it says that if they do not want to be part of india then we should respect that and, and – read carefully – as per their wishes should liberate kashmir from india – i mean, prashant bhushan – such a noble person, such a noble thought for our country – can we all touch his feet – had india taken notice of it ealier, then we would have implemented it long back and india would have been a heaven. i guess, it would have also helped in the elimination of corruption, it would have also helped india to get rid of so many of its problems – well, aap-bhakts – don’t you all think so. isn’t it a duty of bjp and every indian to help aap and prashant bhushan to make Jammu & kashmir free from the slavery of india and hand it over to great country – pakistan – a land free of modi, free of bjp, that means, the most secular nation, the most peaceful nation in the world. now all aap bhakts – as we have settled the kashmir issue and one wicket is down. now, let’s talk about other states – well, tell us – how many other states, you would like to be made free from the slavery of our country india. we may start from chattisgarh, west Bengal, odisha – what happened – surprised, don’t be – didn’t prashant bhushan tell you how close he is to naxalites and Maoists also. after all, his heart doesn’t bleed only for Kashmiri separatists. oh, so, so sorry, how could you know – infact, all of you were busy enjoying a rock concert at jantar mantar and listening to the poetry of one of the greatest poet on this planet earth – kumar vishwas. anyway, all aap-bhakts, don’t worry about these small- small things. once aap comes into power, thanks to honest and vigilante citizens like you all, then we will all make sure that aap under the great leadership and guidance of our very own prashant bhushan manages to implement all his formulas for this country and of course, with the active support from true Indians like kashmiri separatists, naxalites and maoists .

    long live aap.

oh, so sorry, i forgot to mention about delhi, you all can also ask for a referendum for delhi . great prashant bhushan and aap will have a formula for this as well, you never know even delhi might prefer to be made free from the clutches of our country india and this might help in eliminating the corruption as well.

lots & lots of regards for highly educated and knowledgeable all aap-bhakts.

You may share your thoughts on getting a bjp owned tv channel at narendramodi.in. Also share your above defenses by either starting a WordPress blog site of your own or by writing to niticentral, pioneer etc. Even firstpost does publish articles by independent columnists . There are also the official website of bjp. It is slow , but they do respond . Then there are websites like modiforpm . Clumisily managed but could help network. And off course you may directly connect thru Facebook and twitter . Some like Subramanian swamy , arun jaitley do respond
Wonderful and commendable work . Keep continuing .

For example, if you notice the coverage of headlines today and aajtak ( India today group ) is nowadays more balanced . I also expect dramatic changes in,network 18 as we inch closer to,elections . It is possible that rajdeep could be axed or made to behave himself. Jaggi ( of first post ) could start having a more larger say. Let us hope for the best

  87. Dear Ravinaar,
I don't disagree with your analysis that media is not giving the credit which BJP deserves in Rajasthan, MP and Chhattisgarh.MOst news channels sound like Congress news channel. But while your focus was on the likes of Barkha Butt, Rajdeep sardesai and others but unknowingly your true feelings for Kejriwal are showing in this blog. My suggestion is that BJP can use the AAP's model to improve its image. The MCD is worst enemy of BJP. WHen BJP supporters here on this blog talk about that AAP doesn't have any achievement even in municipality- I consider that BJP and congress achievements in MCD will put to shame any independent person.I would not like AAP to have Achiements made by BJP in MCD to be replicated by AAP. You cleanse this department and people will appreciate you more. Ask MCD to not just dig holes anywhere you like on the road - do a sub-standard medicore job and leave the dust flyhing there for months. The works should be done of high quality that can last 10 year. Not like roads which get eroded after first monsoon. Have proper drainage system so that roads have longer life. IMprove these things and don't collude with contractors to do sub-standard work. Then you can compete with AAP.

    1. Dear Anil Kumar,

You are making a major blunder in your assessment of AAP. Anyone need not compete with AAP because AAP themselves have not proved their governance capacity till date. The only thing that they are good at is continuously harping on " Both Congress & BJP are corrupt" without any accountability for themselves. They should first prove themselves worthy of providing better governance than NAMO, Shivraj, Raman & then throw muck on BJP. Are they ready for that challenge ???

  88. Municipality are the office which require transparency to control black money first. Thousands of crores in each of cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, go unaudited and unaccounted thereby generating blackmoney. They have no accountability.

In policy making or addressing social issues, there is no short cut techniques, unless one has background of sociology or understanding of the society and its framework, for which knowledge of religion is essential guide. Social disparity will be there and continue to be.

One cannot distribute cash and land to bring in social equality, as seen from Mumbai experience, free flats given to poor are sold out and people go back to their original slum area.

  92. Ravinar... Did you see today's turn off events. AK's remarks towards BJP stating that they could easily buy MPs then why didn't they form government.
He followed that with a good response to Congress stating that if they are saying unconditional support then make their stand clear on AAP manifesto - abt 18 points (they sent the same to rajnath singh as well for BJP's position).

I read this as a stunt to shoot re-election from others' shoulder. Having said that, I'm also caught in two mind on whether he is indeed being honest and wants to really clean the mess.

Currently India is ruled by criminals and corrupt people at every level, be it politics, economy, local mafia, contractors, media houses, education and etc etc. If you go anywhere top to bottom mostly people those who will be dictating rules would be corrupt and crimnals. Thats why Arvind Kejriwal says ye ajadi ki ladai hai, I 100% agree with him. I agree with Arvind Kejriwal that only aam admi can change this country because he cant deal with these mafias by himself, he will be killed in one day. I salute this man and whole team if they can cleverly get India freedom from these people. If you talk about Modi he is also corrupted by crony capitalistic economic world mafia, what Modi has done in Gujrat in 15 years to improve the social justice/social security in the state. These all politicians are manifestations of a systemic disease and the only hope seems to be this new revolution, I hope aam admi of India will get India freedom once again.
