Fraudulent Akademists

Do read TheLitter Mafia & Extraneous Noise (if you haven’t already).

So a bunch of alleged writers have been returning their awards for some reason or the other. It started with Nayantara Sahgal and Shashi Deshpande returning their Sahitya awards. Many have been thankfully following in their footsteps. Apparently, the reason for disenchantment with India is that under Modi Sarkar freedom of speech is supposedly being throttled. We shall see. Other reasons cited are the murders of Kalburgi, Dhabolkar, Govind Pansare and the recent Dadri murder. Most of these murders have happened under non-BJP govts. Yet the ruling parties of the states are seen as safe while Modi is pointed at being the one not controlling the situation. Let’s bury this load of rubbish being mouthed by morons across the Litter Mafia and the media. Most of these inglorious bastards returning their petty awards are Modi-haters and his continued success and their loss of privileged crumbs is what is hurting them. Who in hell is Nayantara? If she wasn’t linked in some way to the Nehru clan nobody would have even known her. Most of these bitchers are nothing but leeches that survive on Lutyens crumbs.

Hundreds of incidents of violence, suppression of speech, wrongful imprisonment have happened under the UPA govt and even before. Nobody bothered to return any award. On the contrary, more criminals have got Padma awards than ever before.

There is no civilian award in India that is given without a good deal of lobbying or bootlicking. How do you think people like Barkha, Rajdeep, Shekhar Gupta or Teesta Setalvad get Padma awards? Their poodle-slavery of Sonia Gandhi earns them that reward. It is the bane of the Communist ideology of Congress that has created the culture of rewards for slaves. There are exceptions but those are becoming rarer. Why would govt be in the business of giving awards? The GOI even has national film awards of all the stupid things. All this started when govts from Nehru down couldn’t even handle state functions properly. Nehru believed the Indian poor and villagers could never be uplifted, so keep giving them some doles while he and his elite Lutyens gang could carry on their little lives of part British, part Stalin concoction of politics.

In the last two decades another crop of these Lutyens type worms have created another domain for themselves – LitterFests. This is meant for the same club members where ordinary writers are not allowed entry. Invitees may include some genuine writers and some criminals, rapists, India-haters and even actual enemies of India. The idea is simply to retain that cocoon while pouring a few drops in the name of India’s culture, history, diversity and all that. For instance, no major publisher in India will accept a writer unless he or she has a reference or knows someone in the media who facilitates publication through “favours”. I have written many times in the past that the publication business in India is no less a mafia than the media itself. As soon as this nonsensical charade of returning fraudulent awards started, someone pulled out an old article from Outlook which talked about this mafia - The Literary Mafia.

“…the fortune and fame of many Indian writers are determined by a well-entrenched literary mafia in Delhi. A society for mutual admiration, it is a close knit group of 'established writers' and writer-bureaucrats who lord over vast networks of patronage…. "Undoubtedly, there is a literary mafia at work," says Hindi writer Krishna Sobti, author of Mitro Marjani. "There is always a silent decision to promote someone or the other. It's a circuit game barred to outsiders. Only a few have access to the India International Centre bar where so many things are decided." Khushwant Singh recalls his decision to quit the Sahitya Akademi's award panel after a writer, whom he had reported for lobbying for her book, not only got the award but even declared her husband would get one the following year. Says Singh: "The kind of lobbying that goes on is shocking”.

That’s just a small excerpt from the article and I recommend you read the full article to understand the nonsense that is Sahitya Akademi and other literary organisations and publishers. Lutyens scroungers like Nayantara are long-time termites that have eaten up such organsations. Their awards are worthless because they carry less money and not much exposure in terms of sales. The Sahitya Akademi is an autonomous organisation funded by GOI but GOI hardly has any interest in such redundant outlets. That is why there is every good reason govt must now completely get out of such fraudulent outfits and also discontinue all political-crap awards like the Padmas and also the nonsense of film awards. This requires courage which is what ModiSarkar lacks currently. India has matured enough for every industry to have its own award and honour systems. Even dumb news channels have awards for politicians. It’s like the dogs giving honours to their masters.

Now, where these nonsensical complaints about FoE are concerned it is dramatically opposite to what these fraudulent writers and some in media have been claiming.  66A is gone – the vicious Act brought in by Congress to protect the Chinese Gandhis from being lampooned. Cartoonists were arrested and one critic of Karti Chidambaram landed in jail overnight. Congress even blocked Twitter handles to suppress criticism. And where Modi is concerned, his haters continue to write more vicious articles than before. The name-calling hasn’t stopped either. All the fraudulent writers watched all the atrocities under Congress and kept their mouth shut. The other phenomenon in media and politics is to blame every silly thing happening anywhere on Modi as if he is a GloboCop who monitors every street in India. In the Dadri incident, not one political party or media house questioned the responsibility of the CM from a party known to run a GoondaRaj in UP.

The other day Sudheen Kulkarni hosted a former Pak minister Kasuri for his book launch. Kulkarni’s face was blackened with paint and rightly so. Such scumbags who believe hosting criminals who waged war against India have to be allowed FoE must be lampooned severely. And what is this stupid obsession of a stupid group of people with Pakistan? Especially after India said no talks till terrorism attended to scumbaginis like Barkha Dutt went on a rant. She even got that stupid Sartaj Aziz for an interview. The bimbo even linked the Dadri incident to India’s UNSC seat as if all those occupying that body are squeaky clean idiots from her Pakistan. She rushes to stupid Rushdie and both iRudaalis whine over ModiSarkar. The Dadri family member was used as tool for another round of her stupid histrionics on TV and she came up with this classic nonsense:

Some people are permanently negatively disposed to the well-being of India and are in passionate love with her enemies who have sworn to destroy India. I wonder any country produces so many traitors. And this too is a matter of FoE for them and nothing more. Some even claim communal violence has gone up since ModiSarkar was formed though they have absolutely no evidence to show for it.

The fraudulent Sahitya writers aren’t acting out of any call of conscience or concern for anything. That Nayantara even mentioned she is returning the award only now because it’s a Hindutva govt at the Centre. This is the dumb logic of these fraudulent Akademists. Their relevance is reducing, they see no hope of more Lutyens crumbs and their little world of elite pimps seems to be crumbling. It is funny to even listen to the people returning the awards on TV. They either parrot each other or have no clue what they are returning the award for, although I am all for returning these fake awards and the cash that went with it. Hope they continue to do so. India has better things to do than worry about these sick individuals who don’t really live in India. Finally, all these scumbags get into some orchestrated hysteria when an election looms. These sickos will lose Bihar and again go into hibernation for some months.

The Ugly Face Of Jihadi Sickularists

Sometimes the awakening is rude. Sometimes it’s quite violent. That’s the hard truth for hypocrites and liars who have defended wrong principles all their life.  In all the past years our Sickularists have defended Islamic terrorists, Muslim agitators and rioters with a gallery of reasons. You had the “root cause” theory for terrorism. Then you had the “victimhood” theory for rioters. Even when it came to freedom of speech or expression they defended the offences by the Muslims and defended their right not to be offended. In India, their “Sickularism” meant one should never offend Muslims or their religious beliefs or icons while they can liberally offend everyone else. Among the greatest battles over free speech was that between MF Hussain and others. Here’s the classic Sickularist’s argument from none other than the “Happy-tongue hypocriteShashi Tharoor and I quote from the post:

It’s the third issue that is striking. The discussion moves to the M.F. Hussain paintings. Here’s where our happy-tongue minister reveals his true self. He argues strongly that it was Hussain’s freedom of expression for which he should not have faced a backlash. Well, obviously Hussain was so blissfully ignorant that his controversial paintings would cause friction or offend a whole community. It needed Mr.Happy-tongue to defend him. But that newspaper editor and the Danish cartoonist shouldn’t have exercised their free expression rights as they would have been aware of the consequences. And that’s not all. Tharoor goes on to state that Hussain paints these Hindu Gods in various forms. That Hussain had once painted Indira Gandhi as Durga Ma ! Tharoor equates painting Indira Gandhi as Durga Ma to nude paintings of Hindu Gods. Even a moron can see that the Indira Gandhi painting would be seen as a compliment rather than an offence. This is how he misleads international audiences with his happy-tongue glib talk”.

So you see, when Hussain paints nude pics of Hindu Gods he is using his freedom of expression which we should admire but when others use their freedom of expression they should be aware of the “consequences” and desist. Frankly, I don’t give a damn what Hussain paints or what cartoonists draw and they can paint, write or draw whatever they want. But it’s the hypocrisy of the Sickularists that has now been severely shattered by none other than the Islamists themselves. The ISIS warriors came along and our Sickularists are finding it hard to defend or explain their actions. It has put them in a hole that they dug for themselves because the ISIS carries out all its actions in the name of Islam. So our poor Sickularists aren’t able to say “that’s not Islam or they are not Muslims”. What to do! So some exemplary morons in our country started on a new venture. They started an effort to somehow relate ISIS to Hindu practices, entities or icons. They had to; otherwise the survival of their hypocrite-life was seriously threatened. First off, let’s look at an Intellectual Moron (IM) who is now a frequent panellist on NDTV. And that should tell you everything, doesn’t it? An IM-panellist on NDTV has to qualify as a scumbag hypocrite. So what’s he say? Here’s trash-can discourse specialist Sudheendra Kulkarni:

The IMs like Kulkarni are so dumb that they have become incapable of seeing who is really a victim of a crime. Kulkarni is so idiotic that he brands the beheading of James Foley, an American journalist, as “hate crime”. Such IMs don’t care to think much about events as they happen. Foley wasn’t executed because he was white or American or Christian. They may hate them but in Foley’s case the crime was a political act to send a political message to those who want to stop the ISIS from spreading their terror further. It doesn’t take Einstein to figure that. And then the IM goes on to insult the death of Foley by grandly stating that the crime was against Islam. Oops! The crime wasn’t against Foley, his family or his country but the victim here is the religion of the perpetrator. You have to wonder how LK Advani, BJP and then our media nurture such brainless idiots. Of course, Kulkarni is an IIT-graduate.

What can you say about Kavita Krishnan? First, you have to wonder how this brainless bimbo got planted in the media. The answer to that is not very hard. In accordance with the Commie policies of the Congress and its clones they created a practice through which they would “plant” panellists in the media. People like Krishnan and Kulkarni were born from that practice. Need more such examples? You have people like Tehseen Poonawalla who was the secret ace up the Congress sleeve. Tehseen represents everything intelligent about the Congress. Anyway, so this Kavita Krishnan was too dumbfounded to find any answers to the ISIS actions and brutality. So she equates ISIS to RSS. You can picture it clearly. Those RSS guys running around with knives, swords and guns killing Muslims, Christians, Jews, Parsis, Sikhs, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Buddhists, Animists, Scientologists! Any community left? What Hema Malini was to Bollywood movies, Kavita Krishnan is to hate-mongering and hypocrisy. She’s the Sickular “Dream Girl” who dreams all these sequences of RSS doing stuff like ISIS in her dreams. You could say I hold KK in extreme contempt but what happens when this bimbo can’t sell her stupidity to someone who “loves her and hates RSS”? Here’s what:

Stupidity born out of extreme hatred for Hindus and Hindu culture is hard to hide beyond a point. Like I said at the beginning, KK has fallen into the hole she dug herself. The best is yet to come. The permanent Hindu-hater, sponsored by Congress and CPM, who made her career out of lies, hate-mongering, fake affidavits, dining and wining with the money meant for victims of communal violence topped all of the previous morons. Teesta Setalvad should be in jail for her crimes and I estimate she will end up in one sooner or later. What do you know; she could well be the first Padma Shri in prison. And instead of merely her prison number ID, the warden may have to address her as “Padma Shri 420”. Here’s what Teesta came up with:

So Teesta, like the previous hate-mongering hypocrites, simply didn’t know how to defend the actions of ISIS. She comes up with a classic comparison to the Hindu deity Kaali who slays evil demons. The guy in the bottom left pic is, according to Teesta, Lord Krishna in the desert using his “Sudarshan chakra”. Naturally, the question many people were asking her is why she couldn’t draw a comparison with the Prophet himself? You see, that’s the problem. That it is okay to offend Hindus and their religion (even without knowing what the deities symbolise) and equate them to the ISIS terrorists when the mass crimes are by Islamists themselves. The best part was Teesta told the world that the image “was still to be worked upon” and was put up in haste:

Well scumbagini, maybe you should have taken some more time and worked it to perfection. Maybe you could have shown Lord Krishna landing in the Middle-east and slaughtering Jews, Yazidis and Non-Muslims. That would have been a thrill for you. No? I am sure there will be many FIRs against her although she deleted the tweet and the pic. That doesn’t matter. What does matter is that all these folks have nurtured a deep-rooted hatred for Hindus and Hindu culture. Our media gives them prominent space to rant against Hindus and their practices. Whether Teesta offends me or not is irrelevant but she did break a law. And it’s this selective demand for punishment that makes people like Rajdeep or Barkha criminal hypocrites.

Teesta apologised and withdrew her pic and message and Rajdeep tweeted that was enough to close the matter. Had the case been the reverse of a Hindu public figure or editor who offended Muslims with an article or statement you can rest assured it would be debated in the media for a week. His or her office would be destroyed by now and s/he would be attacked violently. From Azad Maidan to Saharanpur and Meerut these media and activist hypocrites have been covering up crimes of the Muslims. The ISIS dealt such a severe blow to them that they left them no place to hide. Even the Indonesian president had to come out strongly against the ISIS. He stated that the ISIS is an embarrassment to Muslims. One would think it’s much worse than mere embarrassment. The chant of “religion of peace” was shattered long back but the ISIS made it extremely difficult to defend that position. I think Tarek Fateh, regular writer and observer of Jihadi elements, described it all with a fascinating term:

Although Tarek’s response was to another person in a similar context of Islamic violence his term describes Sudheendra Kulkarni, Kavita Krishnan, Teesta Setalvad and their promoters like Barkha Dutt, Rajdeep Sardesai, Arnab Goswami & Co. That “Jihadi Botox” cannot hide their hatred and prejudices any longer. Their ugly faces have been shown up by the ISIS in the most devastating way.

Vanity Of The Defamers

The media is up in arms against the Supreme Court decision not to interfere in the proceedings of a defamation case against TimesNow by former Justice P.B. Sawant. The ruling requires TimesNow to deposit an amount of 20crores and a bank guarantee of 80crores with the Bombay High Court to hear an appeal against a lower court’s order in Pune which awarded the 100crore defamation to Justice Sawant.

Lately, the media has been under fire from various quarters, particularly the new PCI chairman Justice Katju. He is in favour of newer and stronger regular regulations, including punitive measures for infringements by the media. In the present case TimesNow argues that showing the picture of Justice Sawant in the report of a scam was a genuine, unintentional mistake without malice. All other media organisations like Editors’ Guild, BEA, NBA and others have criticised the SC ruling. Oh well, I’m not surprised even politicians like Abhishek Singhvi, Arun Jaitley and Ravishankar Prasad have also joined the chorus. In a few days this might even become a human rights issue and the NHRC might also make a statement. Wait, who knows even the UN and UNSC come out in support of our media since the eminent Lord Meghnad Desai seems to have said the “court order was tantamount to an intimidating attack on the freedom of the press”. An attack? On freedom of the Press? The SC simply ruled it won’t intervene.

There has been a trend lately to rush to the SC with SLPs to either stay or quash proceedings in lower courts. Sanjeev Bhatt’s is another case where the SC has declined to quash proceedings against him. There is a consistency now in SC rulings which appears not so keen in interfering with lower courts except in stray cases. That is the message that the media should have drawn instead of protesting the SC ruling so severely. After all, the Bombay HC still hearing the TimesNow appeal and if their order is unfavourable then going to the SC remains an option. As for 100 crores, does it seem excessive? Well, on the face of it for 15 seconds of infamy it does seem excessive. So let’s look at another case. The “Rahul Gandhi-Sukanya case – Amazing media silence” is an older post on this blog that still remains on top. So what happened in that case?

Indian Express (March 8): A former MLA of the Samajwadi Party, Kishor Samrite, filed a petition in UP against Rahul Gandhi’s alleged illegal detention of a woman named Sukanya. “The Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court…slapped a penalty of Rs 50 lakh on…. who had filed a habeas corpus petition, alleging that Rahul Gandhi had raped a girl from Amethi and was keeping her and her parents in illegal detention since 2007. While dismissing the petition of Kishor Samrite, the court also ordered CBI to register a case against him.

Mind you, when the case was filed it was just a few stray newspapers that reported it. When the HC dismissed the case and ordered the penalty of 50 lakhs it was all over the place and the news channels carried the report over and over again. No one really asked the question if 50 lakhs was fair and justified. For one, the petitioner went to a court of law and statements in courts cannot be considered defamation. So Samrite files a petition in the SC which stays the penalty. And who rushes to the SC to get into the case? The CBI! Oh yeah, the CBI which is usually reluctant to investigate certain scams and politicians showed unusual enthusiasm to be a party to the case in SC. Here’s what ET (August 26) reported:

CBI rushes to SC to becomeparty in case against Rahul: In an unusual move, the Central Bureau of Investigation has rushed to the Supreme Court wanting to be a party in an appeal filed by Kishore Samrite against whom a probe was ordered by the Allahabad high court for levelling false charges against Congress general secretary and MP Rahul Gandhi. The HC had asked for the CBI probe against Samrite on March 7. The CBI had lodged a case under Indian Penal Code Sections — 120b (criminal conspiracy), 181 (false statement on oath), 211 (false charges to cause injury ) and 499-500 (defamation). The HC had imposed a fine of Rs 50 lakh on Samrite.

Look at the all the penal codes under which CBI wants to prosecute Samrite. His motivation for the case against Rahul Gandhi may be suspect but not one newspaper or news channel, I repeat NOT ONE, ever questioned whether the 50 lakh penalty was justified. Well, obviously that is not an attack on freedom of speech for media. After all, it concerns the first family. Mind you, not just that, not one single media outlet even questioned why the CBI was so enthusiastic to be a party in the appeal by Samrite. Not one!

Recently  Sudheendra Kulkarni and few BJP MLAs and others were arrested and jailed for their involvement in the Cash4Votes scam. This time, it’s the Delhi Police who were acting on SC orders to investigate the scam. These were the ‘whistleblowers’ in the scam and their arrest was shocking to most people. Once again, they were bailed out by the High Court which observed that none of them seemed to have taken any bribes and there appears to be no prima-face against them. Yet, apart from sensationalising their arrests not one media outlet questioned the conduct of Delhi Police and the validity of their actions. How is it that ordinary people are able to see through the acts of DP and yet the wise ones in the media are not. It’s an extraordinary event where the guilty are roaming free and apparently innocent ones were being prosecuted. Did the media stand up for their freedom? Not one! Not one media retailer even asked if Kulkarni and others were actually being “framed” in the whole case. Alright, never mind!

What about frequently calling Narendra Modi a ‘mass muderer’. Does the media have any evidence? I suppose that is not defamation. Should he have desired, NaMo could have sued Vir Sanghvi, Rajdeep Sardesai and others for a 100 crores too. How do they shamlessly carry on such a campaign and yet claim defence for themselves? How do they allow a rogue cop to call NaMo a ‘Common Criminal’ on their news channels and yet not black out that comment. Instead, the media played out that comment over and over again. That is willful defamation many times over. Well, I guess it’s fair game when it comes to others. Did the media plug these horrible utterances?

Roll back to another case, again by none other than the CBI. This was against former Home Minister of Gujarat, Amit Shah. I now don’t even remember how many charges were packed against Shah. Involvement in extortion, Sohrabuddin case, the list might go on. When the news broke, the news channels were up shouting and hollering how the ‘right-hand man’ and ‘aide’ of Narendra Modi was screwed. They clearly implied that because Shah was charged and arrested it was an indictment of Modi and there were those who even demanded Modi’s resignation. Again, not one, I repeat not one, media retailer even bothered to ask if the CBI’s case had any merits or what was the basis on which the charges and arrest were made. The CBI not only opposed bail but even sought Amit Shah to be kept out of the state of Gujarat. This is a plumbing job! The media simply went overboard in using the case to hurl further accusations at the Narendra Modi govt. Defamation, Slander, Libel anybody? The order by the Supreme Court in this particular is not only shocking but exposes the outrageous act of the CBI. Here’s what the TOI (November 18) reported on the SC order:

The bench indicated its agreement with Jethmalani's (Amit Shah’s lawyer) submissions and told additional solicitor general Vivek Tankha, who appeared for CBI, that "the complaints appears to be absolute trash". "Mr Tankha, you (the CBI) are supposed to be the finest investigating agency. You have to respond to all these lapses and deficiencies. The insinuations (against Shah) were wholly unwarranted and totally unfair," the bench said.

Apart from some minor reporting of the SC order and some in the scrolls at the bottom of the TV screen most news outlets buried the item. They were happy to have found the sensational allegations of Vinod Kambli about match-fixing pretty handy.

TimesNow frequently claims to base their reports on secret documents of IB, Home Ministry that they somehow come to access. Other news channels also often claim to possess secret letters and documents of the govt. in their reporting. Yet, not one newspaper or newschannel has ever reported on Sonia Gandhi’s reported illness, her surgery or her the state of her health. Why? No leaks or are the media plumbers doing a good job of plugging it all. But they find enough leaks to do hit jobs on detractors of the govt. Not even the CAG is spared. The 100 crore defamation award is still in the appeal court. There is no denying the severity of the order but is there any sympathy lost for the news channel? The only thing hurt seems to be the media’s collective vanity.
