It will take a while for Indians to realise and sink-in the fact that all the blabber of Narendra Modi about development, poverty alleviation, working for the poor is mostly rhetorical nonsense. Right from his Gujarat days, Modi has learned one thing for good – that people constantly struggling in life only need “visible” signs of change. Therefore, all the metros, Vande Bharats, new airports and renovated railway stations, ribbon-cutting every mundane project and train are all signs of “Visible” progress for the ordinary people. But what goes inside is not always obvious.
Take the case of “Har ghar nal” scheme and campaign. It sounds great that every household will have a tap with flowing water (at least for some part of the day). It sounds and visibly looks very good but you don’t know what will flow through those taps. While many parts of Delhi and India still struggle for daily water, the so-called clean city of Indore had poisoned-water or sludge flowing through those taps. This poison killed over a dozen people recently and infected hundreds of others. And when asked about it, the BJP minister Kailash Vijayvargiya only responded with “Ghanta hoga” to a reporter. That is really what people have got in the last 12 years – Ghanta!
If you think this Vijayvargiya guy is some aberration in a moment of stupidity, that is wrong. This stupidity is consistent with all BJP ministers who blabber nonsense with no logic or relevance to your lives. The Sirsa guy (maybe shortened from Sirsasan) of Delhi govt grandly proclaimed Delhi had the best AQI in the last 8 years. But if you look closely into his stupidity, he is just talking about 200 days where the AQI was below 200 (still poor quality) but you don’t know which 200 days. Those days could be during the monsoon when dust settles and the air is much cleaner. This constant barrage of nonsense is now the tactic of Modi and BJP to keep Indians DELUDED. Keep you busy with irrelevant stuff or wayward stats to fool you.
Inept, incompetent and bumbling from one bad decision to another is what the entire Modi Cabinet has to constantly defend as a great decision. When they screw up, it’s a masterstroke. When they chop down unfair GST a bit, it’s a grand “Gift” from Modi’s dowry. And it is hard to explain how GST collection keeps going up if you have slashed GST rates. For instance, printed books have no GST but they increased the cost of paper by increasing GST. Thus, students would find stationery more costly than before for no good reason. Then the constant shout of GDP GDP GDP as if that’s the Guru Mantra for everything. The top clown shouts 5 Tn, the rest of the clowns follow with nonsensical chants of 30Tn in 2047. Everything happens at a future date when most of these deluders will be dead or most of the public will be dead:
And when Modi runs out of delusional stuff, he will run to some temples to again fool you. He and the scoundrels of RSS will re-inaugurate Ram Mandir or hold programs on Buddha and lecture citizens how to live, how to marry, how many children to birth, how to follow religion and how to die. From Buddha to Bullet train, everything is a delusional recipe to keep you in a circus:
Is there any REAL development? Very little and that too is incremental and nothing spectacular. Much of the new employment is either coming from jobs as delivery-boys or doles and hand-outs by the State and Central govts. And Modi and BJP learned the hard way that shoddy development cannot win elections. So, they learned from Arvind Kejriwal that the best way to win elections is to BUY WOMEN. Almost every BJP state from MP to Maharashtra has BRIBED women for votes. There is no reason or rhyme behind these “Ladli” doles. The only reason and goal is SURVIVAL.
Survive for another five years and scam as much as you want. Nobody will remember and nobody will give a damn. And even if some major scam surfaces, you have purchased the ED, IT, CBI and the media too, to whitewash all the crimes and give all the corrupt a clean-chit. This purchase has become so common that they have even purchased the EC. In Bihar Modi & co gave out 10000 to women even after the model code of conduct came into play. That’s like getting 3 extra fielders from the crowd outside the circle during power play. This is how India is being currently run. A road to nowhere, just trundling along. Predictably, in line with other BJP states, the scoundrels have announced another dole of 8000 to 37 lakh women in Assam, just in time for elections. That is all they have – BRIBES and DOLES and nothing else to show for performance:
As I said in the beginning of this post, Indians will scarcely realise how much they have been scammed and conned till Modi goes. Because they win elections with bribes it becomes easier for them to bury their scams and corruption. And keep citizens in delusion with falsehoods, bogus stories, lipstick activities. In the movie “The Usual Suspects” the character Verbal Kint sits through an entire interrogation by the FBI agent by blabbering nonsense and all kinds of concocted stories from the news-clips and posters from the background board that is behind the agent. He completely fools the agent with nonsensical stories to cover up the crimes he has committed (Video: 2.14 mins):
The greatest trick the devil plays on you is to make you believe he never existed. It’s exactly what Modi and the scoundrels of BJP have been doing – they are deluding you with their make-believe fairy tales and nonsense. You will not realise you have been fooled and scammed – till they go. Only then you will discover the depths they have dumped you in to.
