Saharanpur - Heroes & Villains

This is one is pretty easy. It won’t take many words to explain the crime either. The Saharanpur riots have exposed the corrupt MSM like no other riot has ever done before. It has shown how most of the media celebs like to live in and peddle lies to mislead and deceive the public. Lately, a few brave journos are speaking out against the malice in reporting communal riots and always painting the Muslims as victims. One of the primary reasons is that a certain community refuses lawful existence. It refuses lawful existence and it denies lawful existence for others. Crimes come from all communities but our media and sickular politicians have long defended and covered up the crimes of the Muslim community. When that trend shows a sign of changing the Commie crooks like Rajdeep Sardesai, Barkha Dutt, Shekhar Gupta and many others refuse to see the writing on the wall. This Media Mafia not only wants to peddle lies but they want to kill and silence anyone who dares to break out of their circle and speak the truth. Let’s run through the events:

So the court awarded a disputed land to the Sikhs to build a Gurudwara. Naturally, the Muslims were unwilling to accept the court verdict. According to latest reports the organiser of the attack on the Gurudwara land and on the Sikhs and their shops is a former MLA Moharram Ali aka Pappu Ali (What a name!). How they started:

While politicians and media “wiseguys” like Arnab Goswami were quick to point fingers at BJP and Hindus, the unprovoked attack was clearly planned and carried out with precision at dawn on July 26. In Pune a tech worker was identified as “Muslim victim”, in the Maharashtra Sadan again the waiter was identified as a “Muslim victim” of a Sena MP who forced roti down his throat while he was on Ramzan fast. Okay! Then there was the Sania Mirza episode. Again, Muslim victim! But come Saharanpur the violent attack by Muslims was described as “Group clashes”. It was just the Muslims carrying out a planned attack on the Gurudwara, the Sikhs and burning their shops. The most defining image of the attack on Sikhs was this one:

Note that the Sardar in the pic doesn’t have any weapon or stones in his hands. He is a sitting duck for the blood-thirsty mob. What happened to him?

That Sardar ended up in the hospital badly injured. Thankfully, he survived and will live to recover his life. Hundreds of Sikh shops were burnt. It was NOT a communal riot. It was a Muslim riot like the Azad Maidan one. I have not heard or seen any report that indicates the Sikhs reacted or responded with equal violence and at the most defended themselves. It was just one community destroying the other. More:

There is no report that the police took fast or strong action. There is no report one shot was fired to disperse the mob. It went on for 3 days before some firm action was taken. Our sickular govts do not like to offend Muslims who want to riot. Our media doesn’t want to report their crimes. It’s called “Indian Secularism” which is now commonly known as “Sickularism”. Of course, for some hate-filled morons in the media the events in Gaza or Pakistan are worth a lot of tears but the Sikhs in Saharanpur are “Laboratory specimens” (read Hindu terrorists created in the Hindutva laboratory):

This sick female who travels under the name of Rana Ayyub has an extraordinary reservoir of hate for Hindus and any other community except Muslims. So much that it blinds her to the truth out of her Politico-Islamic compulsions. That the Muslims were violently rioting in Saharanpur is not visible to her. Never mind! Like her, there is another blind moron on Timesnow who believes every incident in UP or elsewhere is a “Design to polarise” by the BJP regardless of what the truth is. Arnab, the Hindu-hater, has now set an agenda for the TOI group to target the BJP govt for all communal sins and even “deemed” communal sins:

We keep wondering if these chronic haters and liars will ever find the courage to speak the truth about Saharanpur or about their hypocrisy in reporting communal violence. We didn’t expect them to. But in comes a guy and he shows the guts to speak the truth:

Gaurav Sawant of HeadlinesToday boldly and bluntly states the truth about media hypocrisy for the first time in the history of Indian TV news. He tweets how the media makes it about “Muslim victim” all the time but remains silent on the crimes by that community. This is nothing short of a historic turn in the Indian media. There is nothing so outrageous or untruthful in what Sawant says. Millions have been saying it for a long time now. Obviously, the Media Mafia cannot digest this as it threatens their very life-support and cash-flow. So here is a corrupt media celeb, sacked from his job, who moralises about Sawant’s tweets:

Instantly, Shekhar Gupta, the “second-hand car” purchased by the India Today group as their Vice-Chairman, forces Sawant to delete his tweets under threat. “Deep Throat” confirmed to me that it was Gupta who forced the deletion of tweets. Gupta is a ignorant of how SM works. In this day and age people consider media a crime scene. They keep screen shots and records of media transactions. Gupta is also new to Twitter and he has so far lived in his cocooned editor’s chamber of muck. Imagine how many scams and news stories adverse to their masters people like Gupta and Sardesai would have suppressed and censored. With his moral sermon Rajdeep sparks off another dangerous act by someone who organised a petition to sack Sawant from HT. Twitterworld says this was instigated by a side-kick journo called Mihir Sharma who is a Modi-hater and constant whiner. He whines so much that he’s a disgrace to even whining. Here’s the stupid petition:

The petition is mindless crap and it even claims Sawant is popular with the right wing as if this is blasphemy which offends the Quran or Bible. I would have to call the people who crafted this petition a bunch of intolerant extremists. There was an instant outrage on Twitter over this silly petition because the same people like Rajdeep, Barkha, and Gupta who whine about free speech were now part of the mafia that silenced one of their own. Shameful hypocrisy at its best. What these goondas really wanted to do was rant like Al Capone: “I want that man dead! I want his family dead! I want his house burned down to the ground”. But they can’t do that so they resorted to this silly petition. When Rajdeep was pointed to the moronery he had provoked this was the transaction:

Yeah! Who decides what’s a hate tweet or hate speech? Not courts, but our media morons like Rajdeep who seem to have been appointed by Moses. It is not a mere opinion that Rajdeep is peddling. It is a threat that he holds out to other journalists that they cannot step outside the circle of Hammam which has been so carefully built by our criminal Media Mafia. Shekhar Gupta tells us how he and others couldn’t read public opinion (remember the confessions of Intellectual Moron Dileep Padgaonkar?):

Gupta’s acknowledgement that political pimps don’t understand public opinion anymore is not the first one. Dileep Padgaonkar was the first and a decade of political pimping has disconnected these media crooks from people as much as it has the Congress and its sickular clones. There was that old Radia-fox too (who commented on how SC judges operated). He had a confession too as did the Monk who had no understanding of SM and got slapped in 2014:

If guys like Rajdeep, Barkha, Sagarika, Shekhar or Prabhu Chawla was only a threat to press freedom that wouldn’t be such a big danger. My earlier tagline for this blog was “Crooks and liars in the media are the greatest danger to Indian democracy”. Yes, they threaten our very democracy through their lies and misreporting and deliberate malice towards all communities except the Muslims. The more they protect Muslim crimes the more brazen the community gets. In the case of Saharanpur the Sikhs have been short changed by both the politicians and the media. Fortunately, unlike 1984, social media does not allow these sick media people to hide anymore. There is no place, no corner and no hole to hide. Their crimes are exposed day in and day out.

Overnight Gaurav Sawant is a hero among people. Personally, I would prefer journos like him to get out of mafia houses and, along with our good journos, form a new channel. Money is always there for an honest cause. But that is not my decision to make. But it is heartening to see his courage and honesty. Gaurav Sawant deserves our applause and a salute. I hope he continues in the same vein without fear even if the crimes are by Hindus and not necessarily by Muslims or other communities. If we have to get past the nonsense of communal riots and violence we need journos to report it bluntly and not as stupid “group clashes”. That’s where the laws of reporting need change.

There is another sad and unreported part to the Saharanpur story. I have known Gurudwaras to be generous and provide food and shelter to anyone, regardless of community, as much as is possible by them. Sikhs ensure no Sikh person ever goes hungry or without shelter and they extend it to other people where feasible. Saharanpur is no different when it comes to their generosity as this tweet indicates:

That tweet is based on this report in the Tribune. The act of providing education and social service in Saharanpur cannot be disputed. And because a court verdict did not go in their favour, it is astonishing that the Muslim community attacked the very community which provides so much for its children. That’s the story our TV channels won’t tell you. But every terrible incident has its heroes. The Sardar facing the stone-pelting mob is a symbolic hero for his community and Gaurav Sawant is a true, game-changing hero in the media. We know who the villains are.

Media Lessons That BJP Needs

It is sometimes easier to learn from failures and defeats than from successes. After all, every one defines failure a bit uniformly but it will be hard to find people agreeing on what is success. Don’t look too far, look at the people with heart-burn who will tell you Narendra Modi was not elected by 69% of India. They had desired and campaigned for him to fail and tried their best in vain. They have reluctantly conceded he is the PM of India and now their job is to show you how he is failing from day one. That’s our hate-mongering media. Here’s one of them who has started ranting about Modi already:

Earlier, Kapil Sibal had blamed Modi for high onion prices. Now Barkha Dutt and clowns like her will keep telling you when Modi must speak and when Modi must remain silent. Not a problem! It just doesn’t occur to this scumbagini that Modi remained quiet for 12 years on all the abuse and lies hurled at him and about him. He knows how to speak, whom to speak to and when. Besides, the media may be ignorant of what communications have been exchanged between the Centre and the two concerned States. That is what bothers Barkha. She can no more exercise her clout in ministry formation or eat “gol gappas” at PM’s house that easily. So her anxiety is understandable. She has been outraging over the Pune murder of a “Muslim techie” as if that was Gujarat 2002 all over again. Not just she, but most of the media channels. Take a look at this and you will see why I call the media an “Anti-Hindu” gang of criminals:

That doesn’t need much explanation, does it? We have seen all that a million times. HeadlinesToday also ran a short documentary on that Muslim techie from Pune and by the music and songs they played and the narrative you would think the man was killed on the LOC defending our borders. Murders unfortunately happen but why the hype on “Muslim”? It is such imbalanced nonsense that creates more animosity among communities. The answer is simple: Hate-mongers like Barkha, Rajdeep, Sagarika, Arnab, Kanwal, Karan Thapar, Varadabhai and their entire Commie gang had ordained that Muslims will suffer under Modi. So they will do everything to prove their dream to see Modi a failure. Any Muslim suffering will be directly blamed on Modi; state govts won’t be responsible for law and order anymore it seems. That doesn’t surprise me at all. What alarms me is how the BJP, a winner of the elections, is behaving with the media. Like a sucker! Let’s look at a comic video first. The first part is of John Oliver (who was earlier with The Daily Show) and the second part is from Jon Stewart’s Daily Show itself (6.25 mins):

Most people on the net have seen those videos. Don’t take what Rajdeep said seriously, he was just being a sport and playing along with the spoof. But the other things in the videos are not spoofs. The shouting, the circus clown Arnab, the fake “billion votes” crap, paid news and all that. Much before these satirists lampooned our media I had tweeted about how stupid Rajdeep & Co are to be screaming “billion votes, billion votes”. I have said before that we have borrowed the worst from America when we should be borrowing the best from the West. The actual “real” news in any Indian channel cannot last for more than 30 minutes or at the most one hour if someone is rounding up the nation. So in absence of news the channels will run a soap-opera on AAP’s troubles. Half of the coverage being useless and unwarranted! This filthy discourse has to change. You cannot tell the news media what they should do or what nonsensical debates they should hold. That’s their business. But given that their entire campaign for years has been anti-Modi, especially anti-Hindu the BJP is foolishly playing a part in the same filth even after the elections.

It wasn’t even a week since he was appointed I&B Minister that Prakash Javdekar grandly announced he would seek discussions with the media on 100% FDI in media. Amazing! I wonder how much thought has gone into it. It was BJP who allowed FDI in media and now this guy instantly wants 100% FDI. It’s like the rape victim falling in love and wanting to marry her rapist. It’s not a big secret that most of our media houses (like many other business houses) operate on black money, indulge in money-laundering, fake investments and tax frauds. Everything you see in the underworld mafia, you will find in our MSM. The priority should be to clean up the operations of the media houses since they get substantial govt support. NDTV alone has multiple financial crimes to its credit and that needs to be set right. What is the urgency to suck up to the media? That apart, many of the regional channels and newspapers are owned by politicians. Is that one of the reasons for this love?

The minister or govt cannot tell the news media what to show or what to discuss but there is a desperate need for certain standards to be set. This shouting, slandering and mindless noise cannot be the merit for more investment. Now that the BJP is the ruling party their spokies are still buying into and participating in this. Some of their earlier spokies have become ministers. The ones still on show are Nalin Kohli, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Sidharnath Singh, Chandan Mitra, Vani Tripathi, Sambit Patra and a couple more. This weekend the media channels were debating the problems of AAP. Now the AAP is going through a miserable phase and is in a wreck. Is there any need for BJP spokies to sign attendance like school kids and appear on mindless discussions with Arnab or Bhupendra Chaube or anyone? That some of these spokies are inarticulate and sub-standard is another matter that I am not going to linger on. The leader sets the rules of the market. The leader guards the viewers. The channels may peddle the nonsense they want but the BJP should now say NO to participating in bogus debates.

By sucking up to the media is Javdekar or the BJP expecting the criminals will change their ways or stop their anti-Hindu, anti-BJP propaganda? Does it occur to those in charge for media in the BJP that the media’s anti-BJP rant is only going to grow shriller the more they realise their old luxuries have disappeared under the Modi govt? The priority should be to set up proper standards for media conduct. There is a desperate need for an independent autonomous body that will enforce fairness in news reporting and protect the viewers from lies and propaganda. Has Javdekar even thought of this? And this autonomous body, after formation, should be free from govt and the media. It should have respectable citizens with a record of honesty and sense of fair-play. How the body will continue after its initial formation independently of the govt and media is a matter of mechanism. The govt’s job should only be to fund it. The PCI, currently headed by M Katju, also needs a complete revamp. These should be top concerns of Javdekar and BJP and not sucking up and feeding money to the media.

For 12 years the media hounded Modi using fake news, lies and fraudulent operators. Is the BJP going to ask any questions or let things stay as they are? Most members of the BJP are as disconnected with people as the media is. If not for Modi they would have suffered another defeat. Modi has called most of the media propagandists “Newstraders”. I call most of them criminals who feed poison into our society. This is a significant tweet by Modi that the BJP members and spokies would do well to save and keep in mind:

He has been restrained and kind. What he excluded was “lies and propaganda of MSM” could not succeed because of social media. The BJP and their spokies would do well to strengthen the SM reach and network. Invest energy and money in ensuring more people are connected and opened to truth, correct history and understand the lies of the Commie media. The MSM will continue to do what it wants. Their job is to LIE and twist matters. BJP need not be defensive or be an active participant in their filth. Participation in their bogus debates is not obligatory for the party or the govt. The govt is answerable to people and if at all it has to interact through media then regular pressers should be used with a Q&A.

It is important that while media funding needs are attended to, the course and quality of discourse is given the highest priority. Earlier the news media was considered the protector of people against evils of govt. Now it’s the people that need to be protected from the evils of the MSM. BJP would do well to learn some lessons and not play a lapdog to media.

The Hurt Mafia

Some years back Rajdeep Sardesai used to have a show or a segment on his TV debates called Crossfire. He probably borrowed the idea from CNN-IBN’s American sister CNN. Back in 2004, during the US election campaign, American comic and satirist Jon Stewart was on CNN’s Crossfire. He delivered a severe battering to the two hosts for their sham debates and deceptions (One of them, Carlson Tucker, was even ridiculed for his silly bow-tie, which LOC Ambassador Karan Thapar now copies). Stewart described where these guys went to after presidential and other debates. Here’s a hilarious exchange:

STEWART: But let me ask you guys, again, a question, because we talked a little bit about, you're actually doing honest debate and all that. But, after the debates, where do you guys head to right afterwards?
CARLSON: The men's room.
STEWART: Right after that?
BEGALA: Home.
STEWART: Spin alley.
BEGALA: Home.
STEWART: No, spin alley.
BEGALA: What are you talking about? You mean at these debates?
STEWART: Yes. You go to spin alley, the place called spin alley. Now, don't you think that, for people watching at home, that's kind of a drag, that you're literally walking to a place called deception lane?

After the thrashing that the hosts got, CNN pulled the show. It was brought in again some months later in 2005 in a totally different format. Fortunately, for our media crooks they carry on their sham despite many a slap.

That’s right! After a political rally or exchange our Editorialists gather in the “spin alley” and decide how to spin the statements by politicians or other public figures. Even after debates or interviews (Like RahulG with Arnab) along with politicians their media slaves also run to “spin alley” to spin both positive and negative bloopers. People are now smart enough to recognise these deceptive liars for what they are. I call them ‘India’s biggest mafia’. Every crime – rape, murder, financial frauds, cheque-book journalism – you will find it in our media. But on February 24, 2014 our mafia was hurt; very hurt. Seems Gen VKSingh called them “Presstitutes” and Home Minister Sushil Shinde threatened to “crush the electronic media”. The Union of Snakes, aka Editors’ Guild, also condemned VKS for using the term Presstitutes.

First, let’s deal with Shinde’s stupid statement. He said he will crush electronic media if there is any propaganda against the Congress. We are used to this man making stupid statements. When cornered he made it worse by saying he didn’t mean TV or journalists but social media. So he wants to crush social media for propaganda against Congress. That should have pacified our media crooks to some extent. Of course, his party also wanted to ban opinion polls. I wrote a long time ago ‘why the MSM would like see social media dead’ and folks on the SM had a good laugh as the real journalists at the Unreal Times showed us:

That done, let’s now deal with the Presstitutes. Johny-returned-lately, Akash Banerjee (ex-Timesnow, ex-HeadlinesToday, ex-Hibernation) started kicking and screaming at VKS on the phone over the Presstitutes remark demanding an apology on the evening of February 24. It wasn’t as if he felt insulted, it sounded as if he was raped or molested. After a few minutes of rage his own colleagues must have told him to calm down.

One can understand Arnab inspires everyone in his channel to behave like him. Take a look at the daily morning show of Timesnow. Each morning there are 2, 3 or 4 ladies who line up to deliver the morning entertainment. I call them “Arnie’s Angels”. Each one of them is trained like a parrot and maybe helped with a teleprompter to prefix the term “poster boy” each time Narendra Modi is mentioned. It’s not just these angels but other ladies on Timesnow, like Navika Kumar, Arnab, Rhythm and Rhyme, also use this term to describe Modi. So I wonder why these folks get so agitated over the term Presstitutes. At other times we have heard terms like mass-murderer, hero of hatred and so on being used recklessly by all the editorialists.

They also call communal riots “genocide” and “pogrom” knowing well they are lying. But these scumbags and scumbaginis expect they should be treated honourably, respected for all their nonsense and be spared the agony of insults that they heap on others.

Arnab doesn’t have a good memory unless it is fed by pieces of paper from his assistants. He forgot how he witch-hunted Nitin Gadkari over 19 episodes based on flimsy accusations by an AAP member. He forgot how he and the entire media witch-hunted N. Sreenivasan of BCCI over the IPL betting issue for three weeks and blacked out all other issues. Sure, you cover these allegations and scams but don’t claim to be ignorant of deliberate and well-planned witch-hunts. The TOI group carried some 107 odd negative articles on the CWG. Are we to believe these guys were really interested in the truth or justice? Was the TOI reporting without motives? Surely not! The excessive coverage was because TOI didn’t get the contracts that went to the Unholy Trinity of HT-NDTV-CNN-IBN through practices that weren’t entirely fair. What do you call this? Journalism or Presstitution? I bet if Times group had got the media contracts you may never have seen the 107 negative headlines. That’s the work of Presstitutes. We know how the media has reacted against Shinde and VKS; let’s sample what the people have to say on SM:

During the discussions on the adventures of Tarun Tejpal on TimesNow, Arnab himself admitted the media had wronged by not taking up and following up on the Radiagate episode. How conveniently the Presstitutes blacked out and buried the story is a major crime. Most of these Presstitutes were also aware of Tejpal’s misdeeds. It is undeniable that these Hammamis do not report on corruption in their own ranks and therefore earn the contempt of people and names that describe them pretty well. Before the 2013 state elections in November-December quite a few channels were openly campaigning for the AAP party. Even if the Presstitutes deny it they can’t deny the overwhelming evidence that points to this malicious conduct of fake debates and discussions. The ultimate proof of the political pimping came in the form of Ashutosh who was sacked from IBN7 and had to join his masters in AAP. Pics of him being bedmates with the AAP party also came into public domain. There are other scumbags like Punyaprasoon Bajpai and Anjana Om Kashyap of AajTak not being very different. The political pimping wasn’t different with Rajdeep, Barkha or Sagarika who have been long-time political doormats. One of the most read articles on this site still happens to be “The AAPSucker Proxies”. Here’s another image that is popular with people and I don’t think anyone is under any illusion (and it comes from an MSM cartoonist, not SM):

Recently, Deepak Chaurasia of India News (formerly with every Hindi channel on earth) was voted India’s Worst Journalist – 2014. He was indeed a surprise winner and the reason being he is alleged to have doctored a video of child-abuse using children and persons who were unaware of the scam. There also appears to be an FIR against him. Heard any news channel reporting on such pathetic activities in the media mafia? There are other journos who wantonly abuse politicians and people in general. And that is the reason the MSM is facing flak from every quarter. This is apart from financial frauds, tax frauds and sexual transgressions at work places. There is a history of how the MSM has obliged and colluded to cover up many crimes of the govt. Why be offended with the title of Presstitutes? I wrote in “Rajdeep On Deception Lane” that very long ago someone from the media gave the most stinging description of journalists and their character. Here is John Swinton of NYT from 1880:

"There is no such thing, at this date of the world's history, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinions out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalist is to destroy the truth; to lie outright; to pervert; to vilify; to fawn at the feet of Mammon, and to sell the country for his daily bread. You know it and I know it and what folly is this toasting an independent press. We are the tools and vassals of the rich men behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes”.

Between VKS and Swinton there isn’t much difference in the description of the crooks. Till a while ago the PCI chairman, Markandeya Katju, himself was behaving like a political tool. He was not only running a political campaign but also ridiculing Indians at large. His nonsense had to be ended by a stinging post from Arun Jaitley in which AJ delivered a severe slap: “Retired judges must remember that the rental for occupying a Lutyen's bunglow post retirement has to be political neutrality not political participation”. There are many media Presstitutes occupying Lutyen’s bungalows and govt flats and as long as they do so they will remain political doormats. The media mafia really has no business to feel hurt. They should cleanse their Hammam instead.
