BJP Janitors At Swarajya

This site was created to expose the criminalities of the MSM and over the years it has done so adequately. But since 2019, the focus is not so much on the defeated media but on the anti-Hindu forces. MediaCrooks has also never criticized online magazines whether RW, LW or Centrist because online magazines, even if their opinions are often jarring, struggle hard to survive in India. But when a magazine like “Swarajya” starts abusing Hindus merely for holding opinions not convenient to them, then it’s fair game to trash these bootlickers of BJP.

For a brief history, Swarajya is the product of the erstwhile failed CRI (Centre Right India) website that took over the defunct magazine. Whether as CRI or now as Swarajya, their impact on public discourse has been negligible. This is despite the fact that two of their senior operators, R. Jagannathan and Prasanna Vishwanathan, were bestowed with an interview by PM Modi. That kind of privilege is not extended to most MSM in India but Swarajya was gifted that interview by virtue of being BJP janitors. All that is background music. What is now bugging these bootlickers is that many Hindus didn’t react positively to the moronic DNA comment by RSS Chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.

Bhagwat’s statement that “Hindus and Muslims had the same DNA” was a moronic comment and most of the responses were a trashing and should have been left there. But NO! The morons of Swarajya, through a writer called Arvind Neelakandan (AN), decided they must defend Bhagwat and trash the rebels. And Swarajya does so by abusing them with “classy” adjectives mostly used by losers. So, they wrote a grand article full of gobar and nonsense called “Mohan Bhagwat’s common DNA is more Hindutva”:

How that stupid comment becomes “Hindutva” is a mystery to me but let’s keep that aside. First, let’s get past this DNA stuff and some technical aspects of it. I am not a scientist, so the simple definition of DNA I follow is that it’s a set of molecules that wraps around each other like a double-helix with instructions for the development, functioning, growth and reproduction of all known organisms. No two individuals have the same DNA. It is unique. Even identical twins rarely have the same DNA. The use of DNA gained fame through its use in a criminal case in 1986 by Sir Alec Jeffreys. In that case a man accused of double rape and murder was exonerated as his DNA did not match with the samples collected from the victims.

A person gets half his DNA from each parent. So, a DNA test can determine who the person’s parent(s) is or even his ancestors. India used DNA to prove a man was indeed ND Tiwari’s illegitimate son he had disowned. Since most Muslims in India are converts from Hinduism, thus Bhagwat’s claim that Hindu and Muslims figuratively have the same DNA. Technically, that is not true. There are thousands of Hindu women raped or married by Mughal invaders or were made part of their harems. The invaders were not original Hindus. Therefore, the DNA of their legal or illegal children may not be fully that of a Hindu. However, Bhagwat obviously used it figuratively or as a metaphor to suggest converted Muslims and existing Hindus came from the same origins. But there is trickery and fraud to the statement.

Since centuries, Muslims have claimed a separate culture different from Hindus and Hindus mostly continue to retain their traditions and customs. The two are often in conflict. There have been violent clashes throughout history with Muslims trying to assert their superiority over Hindu religion and culture. Bhagwat is foolish to ignore all this and suggest that Hindus and Muslims share a common culture because of their origins with his stupid DNA comment. This is what the Hindus trashing Bhagwat are arguing while Swarajya trashes them all and grandly claims it’s Hindutva to claim common DNA. No, Bhagwat would be scientifically wrong in claiming common DNA and figuratively wrong in claiming a common culture. Hindus have nothing in common with Muslims from dressing to eating and education. The only thing common is that Muslims still live in the same country.

The whole idea now of RSS, Bhagwat and PM Modi is to wipe out Hindu identity and merge it with a “Composite” idea of Indian which includes many communities of Hindus and the Muslims but excludes the upper caste Hindus (like Brahmins and Kshatriyas etc). This is the trickery and fraud that RSS and BJP are pulling on Hindus. And that is why Hindu festivals are being trashed and banned. Hindu Gods are being manipulated to unusual forms not Hindu at all. That is why conversion of Hindus to Islam or Christianity is gleefully allowed by Modi, BJP and the RSS with no attention to many crimes associated with it. RSS jerks like Ratan Sharda claim that this trashing of Bhagwat’s comment or other moronic statements is because people are not “Well read enough”. Such is the laughable arrogance of Sharda and also the jerks at Swarajya:

In reality, RSS guys, including their top management, are mostly low-intellect guys. They are extremely inarticulate in their speeches and in nearly 75 years post-Independence haven’t been to stand for any of their loudmouth agenda. They first shouted a lot about “Hindu Rashtra” with no clarity on how to define it. They are not clear whether to eat cows or ban cow slaughter. And blabbermouth Bhagwat doesn’t hesitate to call Ram “Imam-e-Hind” because some Muslim said so. In short, these jokers of RSS neither understand Hindus nor Muslims and their sentiment. In his article AN complains of the Dasana Mahant Narsinghanand:

If you are so confident what Bhagwat said stands for Hindutva why should you bother what Narsinghanand said from some corner of UP? You idiots have the right to trash the sentiments of millions of Hindus but you are rattled by Narsinghanand? Who is in fear and who hides behind the bravado of “Hindutva” for a moronic DNA comment? The bootlicker doesn’t stop there. He goes on to abuse those who opposed, trashed or mocked Bhagwat:

None of those opposing Bhagwat’s comment are doing so because of what Sitaram Goel or Koenrad Elst said now or in the past. There is no data but I can assure you half of the people that AN grandly calls “Keyboard warriors” or “Anglophone Hindus” would not be deeply into reading the works of Goel or Elst. It should be easy for educated idiots of Swarajya to understand that you don’t have to be educated even to be PM of India. The language that AN uses is the same as that of the brainless Bhajan Mandli of Modi: Keyboard warriors, Anglophone Hindus. He forgot to add “English speaking fake Hindus sitting in AC rooms with a laptop” as the morons often claim when someone trashes their hero or RSS. This comment under the Swarajya article itself is enough to educate both Aravind and the other gooches at Swarajya on how common sense is all it takes to explain the real Hindu-Muslim situation historically with relevance to the present:

The strengths of RSS are largely over-estimated. It is just an organisation of workers and their management is just like leaders of a trade union. The public generally doesn’t comment on RSS or their internal working unless someone like Bhagwat makes some stupid comment in public. Nobody cares. Their cadres have strength in disaster relief and ground work in elections but that alone hasn’t ensured electoral victories everywhere. The victories of Modi or BJP cannot be all attributed to RSS. It is partly also due to the total failure of Opposition and the corrupt Congress and contempt for the Chinese Gandhis. However, no political situation is ever permanent. The BJP and Modi are now at their lowest ebb. A few more blunders and they will taste more Bengals. So, it would be in their best interest to shed their arrogance and their janitors like Swarajya to stick to bootlicking instead of lecturing Hindus or lecturing about Hindutva.

Editors Can Sue Narendra Modi For Mental Torture

This is a story about a couple and the wife’s cousin sister that I’ve told before but it’s worth recalling again. There is a serious obsession that many in the media are going through and it’s fiddling with the wires in their brains. So let’s read it again:

I’m not sure where I read it… but this little story is important for chronic haters… A married couple had the college going cousin sister of the wife move in with them as she starts college. Soon the small town cousin starts dressing and moving around like a regular city girl. Hubby and wife can’t stop talking about her skirts and how short they have become. Every evening hubby comes home and says “Honey, I’m home what did the girl do today”? The wife would then tell him how she changed her boyfriend again and got her nose pierced. They would gossip about the girl every evening on the dinner table and right up to bed-time. Sometimes it was the cousin’s hairstyle, her revealing tops, her boyfriends, her long phone calls, her sex life, her taste of books, blah blah. This gossiping and hateful bitching went on happily for years. The hubby and wife had nothing to discuss but the activities and behaviour of the cousin. They had nothing but contempt and disgust for her. One fine day the cousin announced she was getting married and moving out. She did! A day after the wedding when the hubby came home from work the couple had a very silent dinner and went to sleep quietly. They had absolutely nothing to discuss. The focus of all their gossip had gone and they realised they had spent all those years discussing nothing but the cousin and now had nothing to talk about. They had spent their days gossiping about the girl and now hardly knew each other or what to talk about.

When many editors in our media reach the end of their career or their lives, they will wonder why they couldn’t get out of their hateful obsession of one man. Their days, their afternoons, their nights spent bitching and gossiping and even nostalgia may only have hate-filled memories.  Narendra Modi has screwed their heads so badly they can’t last a minute, an hour or a day without gossiping about him. He has wrecked their brains and their ability to think anymore. He is mentally torturing them. I mean, see Barkha Dutt. No matter how much she trolls him he ignores her. She can no more talk about Modi with any credibility so she tries backdoor nonsense like “Amit Shah: Modi’s fatal flaw”? Sometime in the future she may even wonder if ‘Modi’s grey beard is a fatal flaw’ it’s gotten that bad for her and NDTV. Remember the bimbo who told a British MP (over Modi) she can even “question the SC”? Whenever I hear the signature tune of The Buck stops, it makes me imagine 20 thieves running and being chased by the police. Then there is the TOI group which has sworn to do hit-jobs on Modi at any and all profit. How much brain-damage NaMo has caused these editors of NDTV, CNN-IBN, TOI etc. can actually be seen by their programmes and pages. Let’s start with the Economic Times.

Okay, as the headline says the article is about some scam by former Pak PM Gilani. But by the time the editor mulls through the report it has morphed into one about Narendra Modi and Gujarat. Modi is guilty of torturing them mentally. I’m sure the text in the red box in the pic isn’t very legible but you can read the article here. Of course, ET editor woke up and deleted the page but I’m sure his Modi nightmares will continue. I’m also sure Modi will continue to torture the foolish editors in the TOI group. But small comfort for TOI they aren’t alone, the DNA editor’s nightmares are bigger. Here we go:

So this DNA article is about the summons by a New York court to Sonia Gandhi in a petition accusing her of protecting the criminals of the 1984 Sikh genocide. Once again, the mentally tortured editor tangles into the wires of his head and bitches about NaMo and that latest sting CD (red box again). Again the text in the box may not be legible. Again the editor at DNA may have deleted the page. But again, you can read the nightmare here. But as you can imagine, nobody is more tortured by NaMo than the editor at NDTV (Barkha is Group Editor I understand). So their nightmares and mental sufferings are as big as those of TOI. Take a look:

Modi is torturing NDTV and their editors so much that they can’t wake up with even proper headlines. We all understand a blooper here and there in the media. Happens all the time! But when it happens so frequently and with so many media outlets it can only be OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). Or should I say PMSD (PrimeMinister Modi Stress Disorder)? A lot like PTSD. I’m surprised NDTV or TOI hasn’t asked “How can a man who mentally tortures us so much become India’s PM”? Considering the slump and losses at most media outlets they won’t even be able to afford medical treatment. That’s a pity!

Barkha’s programme I mentioned earlier (Amit Shah: Modi’s fatal flaw) was a reaction to the delightful resignation of former Gujarat DIG D.G. Vanzara. It had all the media editors jumping in delight with some new muck to hurl. The Tehelka Sisters were drooling. There are a couple who have filed a PIL in the Supreme Court. The Congress even called a Bandh in Gujarat and stoned school buses of all things. These “self-styled” editor-judges never learned that it’s better to wait a day or two for the scum to clear before dipping their toes into the water. Every time there’s a party pooper. Believe it or not, this time it wasn’t a Modi fan or a NaMo Bhakt to give them more nightmares. Of all the people, it was CBI Director Ranjit Sinha who said Vanzara’s letter has no legal value, only political value. But hey, this Sinha guy doesn’t know something that people do. The decade-long tirade and hate-campaign against Modi had nothing to do with the law. It was always political. Life goes on. Modi moves on. It’s these jokers in the media posing as editors who are having nightmares. I think the only case they can win against Modi is if they sue him for mental torture. That is precisely what Modi is doing. Mentally torturing them!  

 

They Wish People 'Happy Death', In Advance

Since the morning of July 18, 2012 activities at the residence of actor Rajesh Khanna indicated there may be bad news. Parts of his house in Mumbai were being covered with white sheets and truck loads of chairs were being delivered. Given his illness it was fair to assume he must have died. Some news channels were already running programmes on the life and times of RK and he was indeed confirmed dead in the afternoon of July 18. It’s no big secret that when a public figure falls seriously ill or is hospitalised with a serious condition, the news media quickly put together an obituary just in case.. They leave a few blanks to be filled in when the final bad news is confirmed. However, in the age of 24X7 news some seem to be in a hurry to wish death to people who haven’t died yet.

In the past some deaths have been announced by confusion or accident. If not for the wrong news of Alfred Nobel’s death calling him “Merchant of death” or “Dynamite man” (For having invented the dynamite) there wouldn’t have been a Nobel Prize at all. Alfred Nobel didn’t want to be remembered as the ‘Dynamite man’ so he instituted the Nobel Prize and that became his legacy. But his case can be forgiven as an honest mistake by newspapers. Not so CNN who had a page open to public that had obituaries of many living people. CNN was just ‘well-prepared’ in case these people were to die without notice. (Read the last segment on this Wikipedia page).

That’s not all, Dick Cheney, who had just become Vice President in 2001, had an obituary for a life from 1941-2001. I quote from the Wiki page: The CNN page had advanced obituaries written for Fidel Castro, Dick Cheney, Nelson Mandela, Bob Hope, Gerald Ford, Pope John Paul II, and Ronald Reagan. Some of these obituaries contained fragments taken from others, particularly from Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother's obituary, which had apparently been used as a template. Dick Cheney for example was described as the 'UK's favourite grandmother', the site noted the Pope's 'love of racing', and described Castro as 'lifeguard, athlete, movie star' (a reference to Ronald Reagan). The number of people declared dead prematurely run into hundreds. Even Paul McCartney, at the height of Beatlemania in 1966, was reported dead.

We could dismiss all this as being ‘well prepared’ for an uncertain certainty. But lately, the Indian media has overtaken their western counterparts. They are not just keeping obituaries ready but once a serious illness or hospitalisation is reported, they are declaring people dead well before they actually die.

Here’s the image of a news item on the internet from Manorama-Online. They declared wrestler and actor Dara Singh dead three days ahead of his actual death. Dara Singh was declared dead by ManoramaOnline on Monday July 9, 2012 when he was still alive. He actually died on July 12, three days later. Well, you can’t complain about our enthusiastic news media being ahead of time. Even though many observers pointed out this serious mistake to Manorama they neither retracted their news page nor apologise for the premature pronouncement. The page was finally quietly pulled many days later without a word. But I keep saying in this day and age it’s difficult to hide bloopers. (Image from @surnell).

In case you didn’t know, Jayprakash Narayan, the socialist leader who led the revolution against the Indira Gandhi govt in the 70s was declared dead prematurely. "Jayaprakash Narayan: while hospitalized in March 1979, the politician's death was erroneously announced by India's prime minister, causing a brief wave of national mourning, including the suspension of parliament and regular radio broadcasting, and closure of schools and shops. The mistake arose when the director of the Intelligence Bureau saw a body looking like Narayan being carried from hospital. Narayan died in October, 1979”. (This is from the same Wiki page link I have provided earlier in this post. Look under ‘N’). That’s a govt declaring a well-known leader dead and declaring mourning 7 months in advance.

The latest victim to be killed by the media is none other than Union Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh. Deshmukh has been hospitalised with kidney and liver problems and is in a critical condition at the time of writing this. Yes, it does look like survival may be difficult unless he gets transplants that work or some miracle. But he’s still alive. Er.. Not according to DNA newspaper though! On the evening of August 7 at 18.55 DNA declared Deshmukh dead. (Image from @Equateall). Naturally, many people on the internet circulated this news. Even online news magazine FirstPost tweeted the death of Deshmukh based on the DNA report without verifying. 

I was surprised, because none of the news channels, who are usually in a race to break news, were even reporting this in their scrolls. And then I checked other sources on the net and on all TV channels and had to conclude this was another ‘Wish-you-happy-death’ report. Many on twitter pointed this out to DNA but typically they did not apologise for this mistake but pulled their page within minutes.

What can one say! Next time you hear a report about some public figure, some celebrity or even a private individual passing away, make sure you check twice with alternate sources. In this age of competition among news outlets to even break news about deaths it almost sounds like they are wishing people a happy death, in advance.

Saving Shekar's Indian Express

The post ‘India’s Worst Journalists’ of August 2010 still remains a popular one on this site. That says a lot of what people generally think of our media celebs.Here’s what I wrote then about Shekhar Gupta, the Editor of Indian Express:"He is the chief of a fast-sinking newspaper and bides his free time (of which he has a lot) in a mundane program called "Walk the talk" on NDTV. Voters found a lot of similarities to BBC's 'Simpson's World' but lacking in any substance. Much of the interviews or discussions on this program is a platform to scratch the back of the interviewee. If you are looking for any serious questions or answers this is certainly not a program for you. In fact, some voters have very strongly suggested that the title of the program should  be called  'Time Pass”.

Ramnath Goenka must surely be having sleepless eternity where ever he is with the current state of affairs at the IE. A newspaper that was strongly anti-establishment, stood for courage in reporting and exposed many a misdeed has now been reduced to a doormat and mouthpiece for the Congress. One should read the series ‘Indira as Commerce’ by Arun Shourie which unseated A.R. Antulay as CM of Maharashtra or the IE stories of the Bhagalpur blindings which still stand as India’s best investigative reporting. All that is past. Today there are two IEs. One is Indian Express and the other is the New Indian Express. NIE has a decent circulation of around 2 million, mostly in the South while IE is negligibly sold mostly in the North and West with negligible circulation.

Kingfisher Airlines has been in the news for quite some time now with its financial mess. There was news about SBI willing to bail out Kingfisher but it backed off owing to protests by its own unions. So KFA is currently stranded with its wings clipped. If the Govt. were to step in and bail out KFA, that too is sure to generate a lot of heat and protests. I don’t have financial information about Shekhar Gupta’s IE but I have little doubt that it is being regularly bailed out and on oxygen supplied by the Govt. Of India (GOI). And since such generous doles to a newspaper are not clearly visible to the public, both the GOI and IE can get away with it. And the bank that bails out ‘friendly’ newspapers? Yes, it’s the Directorate of Advertising & Visual Publicity (DAVP). It falls under the I&B ministry, currently headed by Ms.Ambika Soni.

I get at least 3 newspapers of which IE happens to be one. I usually only browse through them as most of the articles and news reports are already on the net before the paper hits you. Let’s take the main paper of IE for Sunday, March 25. What caught my attention was a piece titled “Reinventing Rahul” by Lord Hairstyle Icon. In a cursory glance I found mention of Bollywood and Joy Mukherjee here and there and quit reading further. One of my wiser choices. But what was difficult to escape noticing were three whopping colour ads. Heavy, expensive ads going by the sizes. Not sure, but I am quite certain that this in all-edition ad for the IE.

The IE edition of March 25 has a quarter page of matrimonials, five tender notices from various govt. bodies filling up another quarter page. That’s it! No other real ads of any substance. Let’s get to the colour part of the ads. There are three in-house ‘filler’ ads of IE itself . After that, all that IE had were three whopping colour ads by none other than the GOI.

So what’s wrong with that? Well, none of the GOI ads aren’t about anything specific but a general awareness drive for ESIC, Ministry of Agriculture and Customs & Excise. Take a lot at the pics. If you were a commercial organisation valuing the money you spend on ads, would you really be advertising in the IE? With half-page and full-page ads? I seriously doubt that. But that’s not a problem for the GOI as it spends our money as doles for the friendliest of newspapers. I didn’t find the same ads in the TOI, which has a much larger circulation. So naturally, I wonder why this special love and affection by the GOI for Indian Express. Many in the business, even Aditya Sinha of DNA, will tell you how the DAVP works as a ‘Carrot and Stick’ organisation.

It is for good reason that most media organisations have a special cell or people dedicated to managing and massaging the DAVP and State Information Departments. I have every reason to believe that in the competitive world of newspapers and TV it is hard to survive without GOI doles and bail-outs. This won’t be visible to the public eye therefore not as much outrage as a Kingfisher bail out. It is our hard earned money being spent mindlessly. All that a media outlet has to do is to surrender their soul to the Congress and their credibility to the devil. Staying alive is important. The GOI may be saving many other friendly newspapers and TV channels with our money. Saving Indian Express is one thing! Why should it be with wanton use of our money? The best part? One doesn't have to return these bail-outs, not even interest payments. It's free!
