A Most Brutal Slap For Shekhar Gupta & NDTV

Since the Radia tapes broke in November 2010 NDTV has more or less banned Vinod Mehta from its channel. You can agree or disagree with Mehta but NDTV knows who the imps and pimps they want are. It stands to reason that a channel for Congi pimps has nurtured another Congi maid like Shekhar Gupta through the years. Over three years ago, in 2011, I wrote a post “Shekhar Gupta - Doctoring & Nursing The Congress”. It doesn’t take Einstein to have recognised this Congress “doctor” who parades as an editor. Was I wrong in calling this joker a Congi pimp who has constantly battled to save the corrupt Congress and Sonia? Well, don’t trust my words; but read this little blast after LS2014 and other election losses after that for the Congress:

“If the Congress high command had read Shekhar Gupta's National Interest column regularly, the party would not have suffered the disaster it has. But either because of smugness or arrogance, complacence or callousness, the party leadership, at all levels, thought that it does not require any analysis or advice…  Did the Congress high command, or at least Rahul and flamboyant leaders like Kapil Sibal or Jairam Ramesh or Digvijaya Singh read this column seven years ago? If they did, how did they react? Did they even introspect or just choose to reject the futuristic projection made by Shekhar Gupta?”

If you are wondering who is paying that tribute to Gupta, you won’t entirely be shocked when you learn it is none other than another Congi pimp; Kumar Ketkar. Please read the above paras carefully. If the media were advising the govt on how to run the country better that would be perfectly acceptable and appreciated. Is that what they were doing? No! They were both advising the Congress party on how to rotate cabinet posts, how to structure the party and how to win elections despite being corrupt non-performers. They were both doctoring and nursing the Congress and not “national interest” as they deceptively claim. It is laughable that KK imagines Congress wasn’t getting advice from media. The media in any country is often the last to recognise public mood. When SG realised his Congress-cause is lost he did what asslickers do. They try to suck up to future leaders as this pic will show you:

I was a little surprised that Narendra Modi even allowed this snake to share a seat with him at a public rally. At an individual level Modi has been very sharp in the way he associates with the media. This is one of his rare mistakes. But as a party, BJP is not really very smart when it comes to media-skills or dealing with the media. They pay a price for their foolishness every single day. But still, I believe SG has realised that post LS2014 Modi doesn’t breed doormats, so the obvious course would be for him to return to his anti-BJP pursuits and pimping for any party that is opposed to BJP; in the Delhi’s case currently the AAP.

Every pig deserves a pigsty or a pig-farm. Naturally, SG pursues his normal anti-BJP career with the anti-Modi, anti-BJP, anti-Hindu, anti-India pig-farm called NDTV. The story of NDTV can best be described as three little pigs at different times. Post Delhi elections 3 little ones from the farm gathered to thrash a BJP spokie. SG is not very different from Vadra, except that he claims to be from Haryana. Like Vadra, SG too learned how to mount the right horses and enrich himself. And they both have DLF as a common friend. Sometime back Caravan magazine explained how this Lutyens Scotch-circuit “wheeler dealer” enriched himself and is an Ambani stooge. It just took someone to call him for the scoundrel that he is. Parties win and lose elections but panellists and self-proclaimed experts need to be careful in how they choose to express their hatred for BJP. Here’s what happened on NDTV after the recent thrashing of BJP in Delhi (Video 5.40 mins):

I have shortened the video from its original length which is on Youtube. Shazia Ilmi joined BJP just before the Delhi elections. Is she the first politician to ever switch sides? But for this joker SG to unleash extreme hatred and personal attacks against her and calling her names shows you the pig he really is. Shazia slammed him with her own choice of words, being the feisty politician she is and rightly called SG a “Wheeler Dealer” and Ambani stooge in as many words. I would say she was actually decent in not taking it any further. At 3.47 in the video, someone goes to the extent of saying “CHOP HER”; that is Shazia (SG later stated it was Roy who said it and it’s not really important who said it). Because that whisper can be missed on Youtube I have enhanced the volume at that part so it is absolutely audible to the listener. Of course, while conceding we can’t be sure who whispered that, the comment spread across Twitter. After 2 days of pondering how to explain his criminal behaviour, SG came up with this tweet:

That is as lame as it gets. So SG says it was Prannoy and he was whispering “Shopon” (for Swapan). It sure doesn’t sound like that to me and people can decide what they hear. It is also amusing that in the middle of an attempt to trash Shazia Ilmi and the BJP why would the 3 stooges think of “Swapan”? That’s another mystery and I leave that for Einstein. The man was not just trashing Shazia but his language and tone bordered on outright “abuse”. As far as I am concerned, if Roy was the one who said “Chop her” then the sequence of the discussion shows SG followed the command to perfection and attempted to “Chop her” with his wild abusive behaviour and name calling. But Shazia delivered the most severe slap this “Wheeler Dealer” editorialist has ever received in public on TV. That itself should give him sleepless nights for a long time.

This is how our Commies in media have been manipulating and promoting anti-BJP hatred. It is not a secret anymore. This is hardly the first time SG himself has been involved in such hate-spewing in recent times. Sometime back he peddled the fraud by the “Anti-Hindu” newspaper against Baba Ramdev which claimed BRD had created an Ebola-curing medicine:

A newspaper which peddles a fraudulent article without as much as cross checking with BRD about a site claiming to represent him is the kind of reporting that must now be legally punished. And the guy who claims to be an editor and re-peddles that lie should also be prosecuted. LIE BIG, retract small must be made a legally punishable offence. But the BJP too is a bunch of cowards who will not act on serious issues in the media. NDTV itself is house of frauds that needs to be prosecuted for multiple crimes. The BJP is failing on this because it is failing to “visibly” act on media corruption. Big economic results can take time but crimes that are already known deserve action. Arun Jaitley is not only a media manipulator (as other politicians and media folks call him that) but also a sucker for NDTV. He is little bothered about his party’s interests and more bothered about keeping his pyjama clean with the media.

It has been a practice for years – all the channels assemble anywhere between 3 to 9 panellists and thrash the lone BJP spokie and the party. In raucous debates where the dice is heavily loaded against the BJP and its allies, the tide must turn. Deliberate mischief must be punished legally. Where illogical abuse is hurled the BJP spokies too must start slapping the concerned panellist in strong terms. Shazia Ilmi has shown how to shut up an abusive panellist. The brutal slap she delivered to Shekhar Gupta will be remembered by him for a long time. Other anti-BJP stooges in the media pretty much deserve the same. 

 

Back To British

It is hard to believe that it took 28 years for India to get rid of the British after the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919. Actually, we didn’t even throw them out. They left on their own accord after cutting India to pieces. I sometimes wonder how Indians gladly joined the British police force and fired upon and lathi-charged their own countrymen. MK Gandhi even supported (as did many other Indian leaders and Muslims in general) some stupid Khilafat movement for far off Turkey. MKG even condoned the Moplah violence against Hindus in the name of rebellion against the British. The British and the Congress party have a shared history of hatred of Hindus. Anything in Saffron that moves is worth their loathing and condemnation. The instances are many and now our modern day media is part of that bandwagon. Take a look at this pic by AajTak:

The headlines seem to glorify Azam Khan, who has been said to be the instigator of Muzzafarnagar riots. On the other hand it shows Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev’s mindless detention in London airport as “London me Lafda yog”. Chronic liars Digvijaya Singh call BRD a “thug”. It’s because such nonsense is being allowed to pass all the time that members of the “fake secularism” brigade has become more like the British.

Two years ago on Gandhi Jayanti, a funny hashtag #BritishRajTweets on Twitter, had a dose of tweets using current political leaders and public figures and what they would have tweeted during that time. In June 2011 after the cowardly attack by Delhi Police, on the orders of the Congress govt, on a sleeping crowd of agitators led by BRD (which resulted in the death of one woman) our PM could only say “Police action against Ramdev was unfortunate but inevitable”. The man is indeed a tragic failure. Naturally, I tweeted what I estimate he would have said about the Jallianwala Bagh too. Had the Congress been in the govt Jallianwala Bagh may have still happened and they would have defended it. When the woman (Rajbala) who was fatally injured in the attack on BRD died, the media didn’t make much noise about it. It was fine with them because… isn’t it obvious? She died exactly this day two years ago. Here’s the reason I suggested then:

Despite all his weaknesses and cases of poor judgement MK Gandhi still remained a patriot at heart who loved India. I cannot say the same for the Congress or some parties similar to it that are keen on destroying the very freedoms we fought for. In the last Bihar elections Nitish Kumar demanded and got a ban on Narendra Modi from campaigning in that state. The BJP foolishly even agreed to please Nitish’s ego and inferiority complex. Someone else wasn’t allowed into Bihar a long time ago too. The reasons, he was told was he would “disturb the peace”. Watch this video (4.39 mins):

If that shocks you then the worst is yet to come. The JDU govt in Bihar has threatened to arrest NaMo if he enters Bihar. On what grounds? The threat of disturbing communal peace? This is the nonsense that the British peddled and our “sickular” parties are doing the same thing. Long back the same Bihar govt under Lalu Prasad had arrested LK Advani during a yatra. Rajnath Singh and other BJP leaders were stopped from entering Muzzafarnagar after the recent riots. However, SoniaG, RahulG and MMS were grandly allowed to enter with cameras to show their “sickular” credentials in sharing tears of only Muslims and not Hindu victims. Gandhis are alive and well!

That’s not all. There is some joker in Tamil Nadu called M. Elango of some New Era Trust (Sounds like a Jesus or ROP Trust to me) who petitioned the Madras HC to ban Narendra Modi from entering Trichy for the same reasons as the British cited against MKG. (NaMo is scheduled to address a rally at Trichy today). Fortunately, the Madras HC rejected this nonsense outright but lately you don’t even know if courts will stand up for freedom. This guy Elango is a Congress member. There seems to have been no brains whatsoever in the Congress party to stop their member from indulging in such frivolous nonsense. Why would they? After all, anything against NaMo is welcome.

We are nearing another Gandhi Jayanthi. The Congress and other politicians will carry out the usual routines of singing praises to him. MKG wanted Congress disbanded after independence but that is one advice they will never heed. The British left but the Indian “suits” took over and we are now experiencing another British Raj. At least the media was patriotic during the freedom struggle. Now they too are full of Macaulay putras and putris who are no different from the British. They rejoice in the ill-treatment of their own citizens by the British and other countries. MKG wanted Congress to die. I have said this before “for India to progress, Congress must die”. They and similar “sickular” parties have taken us back to British Raj.

Rambo-II: The Lies Of India

In his book of ‘7 Habits’ the late Stephen Covey discusses the principle of “Measure twice, cut once”. It’s a principle that tailors and carpenters have followed religiously for ages as a professional practice. Once cut, cannot be reversed. The same should be true for those claiming to be journalists. Before shooting off something they need to fact-check, they need to double-check. As ordinary folks, you and I can believe events and pics from anywhere but why should paid journalists be fooled by those? But even ordinary people are now measuring twice. In the previous post I had talked about the dubious and frivolous nature of IBN editors’ comments. That IBN is a communal channel that hates anything in saffron is not a big secret. Here’s another one from the channel who shot off her fingers:

Her name is Rituparna Chatterjee and she does something with movies in CNN-IBN and her Twitter handle is appropriately named “Masalabai”. On August 6 she tweeted pics claiming Baba Ramdev was “gettin’ jiggy” with it. Someone points out the pics are not real BRD. She insists “it is”. Turns out the guy was Sunil Talwar (some alleged actor) portraying BRD and dancing around. Masalabai then says “In all likelihood a morphed picture or a lookalike. I take no responsibility”. Fact: The pics she tweeted were from the same pages that reported Sunil Talwar in BRD garb that is shown above. So she deliberately and mischievously tweeted the pics. That’s right; if alleged journalists took some ‘responsibility’ there wouldn’t be so much contempt for our media.

So when a mall in Ahmedabad, Himalaya Mall, decided to charge Rs.20 as entry fee on Eid weekend beginning Friday, August 9 the Times Of India screamed this was being charged only from Muslims. Welcome to Rambo-II: The lies of India. The TOI from being a respected journal now has many names. It’s called the TOI-let paper. If that sounds offensive some call it a more respectable “Slimes of India”. Here’s how they screamed:

The report claimed discrimination against Muslims in “Narendra Modi’s Gujarat”. Some people pointed out that anti-India violence, LeT flags hoisted and shops and houses burnt at Kishtwar (in J&K) is not in “Omar Abdullah’s J&K” but some mall charging an entry fee in Ahmedabad becomes associated with Modi. That’s why TOI is known “slimes” and they’re not alone in this hate-Modi campaign. But like that bimbo Masalabai there’s that other bimbo of IBN who shoots off his mouth. Here’s Ashutosh, again first off the block with mindless hatred:

So he falls for the story, doesn’t measure twice and shoots off his prejudiced, hate-filled head and even says that India will not breathe if we don’t heed these warning signs. My response? Breathe in a bit of Gujarat! YES. Inhale crap from IBN, NO! Even Rajdeep Sardesai couldn’t resist the temptation.

But in this case let’s give Rajdeep the benefit of doubt. After all, with a “Suprabhat” he was merely tweeting headlines as they appeared in media. Not only that, he also had his local reporter double-check on the situation and offered a clarification while slamming the “Slimes of India”. So where does that leave the “Liars of India”? This Himalaya Mall in Ahmedabad is located in a predominantly Hindu area in Ahmedabad. There might be just a minor sprinkling of Muslim households in a radius of 5 kms of this mall. Of course, on a festive holiday Muslims can turn up from far-off places too, especially when you consider new movies release on Friday. This time the rush must have been for SRK-Deepika’s ‘Chennai Express’. Let’s first look at all the reports of August 10:

TOI Ahmedabad Mirror reports “Mall charges visitors Eidi”. Then TOI main edition carries the story as “On Eid, Ahmedabad mall charges entry fee from Muslims”. The latter edition clearly reports discrimination against Muslims. Following the outrage on SM and Twitter TOI stated they stand by the story: “Profiling on Eid indeed took place at Ahmedabad mall”. Here are two pics that were included in the Ahmedabad Mirror report.

Observe closely that unless you’re wearing a skullcap or the traditional (Pathani?) Muslim dress it is hard to tell if you’re a Muslim. If the US profiles Muslims at its immigration checks it’s by the names in the passports and other IDs. Even Kamal Haasan was held up because his name sounds like a Muslim one although he claims to be an atheist. That would be “profiling”. How in the world can you tell if a man is Muslim (other than the caps, long beard or garb). Most Muslim men dress the same way as a Hindu or a Christian. One can mostly tell a Sikh by the turban, although there are Sikhs who don’t wear one. So this crap from TOI is merely based on loose-talk and rumours. In the top pic, most of the people in the queue and getting in are not in any Muslim garb. Or to rephrase AK Antony “they were dressed up as Hindus”? Women at the mall were anyway allowed in free so thankfully that hasn’t become an issue.

I visit this Himalaya Mall quite frequently and know for a fact that the open floor at the mall can hold no more than 200-300 people comfortably at one time. The management claims a footfall of 10000 on a normal day which goes up to 30000 on holidays/festival days. So one can imagine the rush and the security threats it poses. Even in the rush it is impossible that a majority of visitors are Muslims. In that location, it is always Hindus in a huge majority. So the TOI group has done nothing more than a “whack-job” (to use a mafia term). People who have visited the mall on Friday (including my friends) have laughed at the idea of discrimination against Muslims. The entire reporting is either based on loose-talk and hearsay or a pure unadulterated filth. If there had indeed been discrimination the entire media, along with TOI, would have feasted on the incident. The TOI seems to be motivated as reflected in their “view” appended at the end of the TOI edition:

Now what exactly does the action of private business units like malls have to do with Narendra Modi? Well, that is precisely the motive behind the TOI’s whack-job. The mall is just a nail to hammer Modi with. TOI seems sworn to a policy of tarring Modi no matter what. Even with fake stories. I call this entire episode of “discrimination against Muslims” by TOI a fraudulent piece of reporting. TOI has a tradition of spewing nonsense and standing by its stories. It carried that fraudulent piece of “Rambo Act” by Modi during the Uttarakhand floods. It stood by the fake story till the entire media had milked it dry. Then 15 or 21 days later the paper made a small retraction in small corner on page 8 or 9. Lie BIG, retract SMALL. That’s the rule with news media and TOI is the leader.

The Himalaya Mall is reported to have issued a circular (image above) to its store owners that such an entry fee will be charged due to expected rush. Their notice informs the stores to redeem the Rs.20 fee against purchases made by the visitor. So practically, a visitor paying the fee gets a refund if he purchases something, which most Mall visitors do. Here’s a tweet from someone in Kochi mentioning a mall charges Rs.100 entry fee which can be redeemed against purchases. It is neither a strange nor an unusual practice that would call for discrimination against any community.

Business units neither like such adverse publicity nor the associated controversies. They prefer to get out of these. The Himalaya Mall has since dropped the entry fee since these reports which TOI’s Ahmedabad Mirror proclaims is because of its reports. Load of rubbish! Business units know newspapers and media blackmail them with the threat of more adverse reports if they are challenged. Himalaya Mall just took the simple way out and dropped the entry fee. The criminal here is TOI. Look the URL below:

The first time on August 10, the URL report was “Mall charges visitors Eidi”. Now the same URL says “Mall scraps ‘unfair’ entry fee” (The link I posted earlier with the pics is a snapshot I retained of the first headlined article. Yeah, people have to keep snapshots owing to the deception of media). If what TOI reported was true, why did they delete their original report and replace it with the new headline? This is a fraud on the readers. This is nothing but Rambo-II: The Lies of India. Lesson for news consumers: Never trust the media or the reporters at the first instance, except for live visuals that you see. Wait for a double-check and confirmation on social media or from your own references.
