Elections & Dog-Tactics

There she was, all decked up and whining. Out of the blue Devyani Khobragade does an interview with a beat reporter of TimesNow. She is famous for being arrested, strip-searched over US laws on domestic staff payments. She was since moved to India’s UN office and the case has not been prosecuted. As UN staff she enjoys immunity too. So what was her whining all about considering she’s in the top rung of govt service and has channels and access to seek justice for any grievance she has? It’s election time. Her father does have political ambitions and both of them are neck deep in the Adarsh housing scam. Two days before Maharashtra goes to polls and on the day campaign ends, Timesnow brings you images of a “victim”:

People on SM now read the MSM like the back of their hands. Khobragade is Marathi Manoos so they hope the “victimhood” will cause some damage to the party they hate. So anything that can strengthen the votes for the anti-BJP forces is game for TimesNow. But people are also quick to point out why projecting a “Dalit” as victim can help the anti-BJP cause. All very clever doggy tricks and the stats someone put up bear the reason for it.

The history of journalism has seen interviews that have had severe consequences. Journalists have faced the most intimidating of personalities at great risk to their own lives. I mean seriously, who would want to interview a “Fatwa-loving-instant-beheading” Imam? This has nothing to do with our elections but a point about how serious journos do serious business and not lame interviews for mere political pimping. Watch (1 min):

That’s the late Mike Wallace (of CBS 60 Minutes) interviewing the Ayatollah Khomeini. One can’t be sure Anwar Sadat was killed because of his Fatwa but he was indeed assassinated in public view. Our MSM cowards like to use “Dog tactics” for their political pimping. I call it “Dog tactics” because one particular classless guy likes to call everyone a dog or person of “no class”. That’s right, Rajdeep Sardesai in an earlier interview of Raj Thackeray told him he “barks like a dog” and claimed that’s what people say. Which people? Must be the people of Rajdeep’s HATO alliance for whom everyone else is a barking dog. So what was RS doing when he recently asked Uddhav Thackeray if he was “asked to sit like a dog”? And treated like a dog by the BJP during their seat negotiations for Maharashtra? Watch (21 secs):

That this ugly character passes as a journo in our media is a disease that characterises our MSM. What’s with all the “dog tactics”? There was indeed an outrage on the SM over such cheap questions and statements. Rajdeep also posted a pic of him and UddhavT on Twitter to demonstrate his friendly nature. But watch the video closely, listen carefully and observe UddhavT’s behaviour when Rajdeep makes those dog comments. UT doesn’t bat an eyelid and is not perturbed or outraged one bit. Any other politician in his place would have taken serious objection to Rajdeep’s language and line of questioning. Not Uddhav Thackeray! Why? Because…

It would be clear if you observe closely that this dog tactic is a choreographed act. The BJP-Sena split happened at a time when the BJP is on the ascendancy and SS is not doing all that well, going by opinion polls. Suddenly, SS-haters like NDTV, Timesnow and Rajdeep are all lining up to interview UT and his son Aditya or some Marathi Manoos. The interview is in Hindi and Rajdeep wants Maharashtrians to hear how “poor UT” was treated like a “Dog” by the BJP. And the message: “Please sympathise with this (under?) dog and reject BJP”. Here are comments by TheJaggi in an article in Firstpost that should offer you further reasons why Rajdeep’s dog-question is actually “friendly fire” to help gain Marathi sympathy for UT:

I wonder how a party leader like UddhavT wants to win elections by being willingly characterised as a dog. What Marathi Manoos pride is he saving by such an act? A party that has the Tiger as its emblem is being called a dog and the head happily glosses it over. Charming stuff! Rajdeep, who has new-found sympathy for SS, has a history of contempt for the party. The contempt was so deep that he didn’t even spare Smita Thackeray from his hostile ridicule. He calls her a mere “hotel receptionist” just Moronshankar Aiyar refers to the “Chailwalla”. Take a look at history:

In his choreographed interview with UddhavT there weren’t any questions about Sena’s “Dadagiri” or “Poison” or UT’s lack of charisma as Rajdeep has consistently written about them. Nothing! It was all sympathy, love and affection. It was a grand attempt by Rajdeep to help UT and SS play the “underdog”. Now that the SS has split with BJP, Rajdeep and his HATO will go any length to garner sympathy for SS but time and tide don’t stop for these media morons. Their hatred for Modi can make them do anything but “dogs” usually remain dogs.

  1. Ravinarji,
Way to go, I was watching times now and suddenly I have seen thi cobragade there being interviewed by arnob. was think why now? and slowly realized the way these presstitutes go, but according to you it is word ofmouth marketing that makes or mars ones result in election.
I hope people do understand, I am a bit pessimistic about MH electorate, they elected three times same scums.
I know initially it was MNS that did the trick and ABV had to loose elections one ?M?NS and then CBN in AP divided the votes and UPA1 came into force.
Also I am worried, even after 26/11 these people voted the same scums back to power.
So much of maratha pride, I am so worried and fingers crosed, Modi does his magiv again and lets wait till 19th.
Kudos Guruji,Please go on and enlighten us, like this.
Every day I come to see if there is another sensation, and every time you come up with a new blog, I just will be ecstatic.
Thank you again, Hope people start seeing through these presstitutes own presstitution and one day real journalzim of Goenka days come back to our Nation.

  2. Conservative Hindus should remember one thing. Many of them have the tendency to dismiss journalists as 'dumb', 'sickular', 'clueless', and so on. It is not so.

Our MSM journalists are clever, cunning, ruthless, and extremely manipulative. They have a very clear political agenda and they work diligently to appease their masters and make life uncomfortable for their opponents.

Take the Meerut gangrape incident - When the news first broke, our journos didn't even cover it. When they did cover it, they tried to dismiss it as 'baseless' and tried to come up with all sorts of theories to prove that Love Jihad was just a bogey used by the BJP to scare minorities.

When the girl retracted her statement, suddenly it became the headlines for every single news channel. When she first claimed she was gangraped and converted, they questioned her motives. When she said that she was compelled by her parents to make those statements, they took her word as gospel and started saying 'we told you so - no Love Jihad'.

    Mission Accomplished.

So, the next time you see our MSM journos do something 'out of the ordinary', do not dismiss it lightly. Remember - every move they make, every op-ed they write, every question they ask, every story they break - it is meant to further their agenda and prevent us from becoming politically aware.

  3. Your Last 5 words sum up these MSM Classy presstitutes [ but “dogs” usually remain dogs ]. it is so true anybody who throws a BOTI they'll waggle their tail and when somebody else throws BOTI the DOG'll waggle their tail in front of them. As you point out Mr Classy Anti-31% was thrown a BOTI by UT of SS and he happily pooh-poohed for UT. It is also possible that this DOGs Master-CONgress might have directed him to be poochi-poochi with UT.

  4. You hit the bulls-eye as usual with this one.
This hamaam boy was all venom and couldn't control his anger agsinst RajT for his support to Modi when he interviewed him before LS elections. In fact RajT had to command him like a dog "haath peeche kar".
Now this classless journo adapts the same "dog tactics" in a choreographed interview and all cooey and dovey to UdhavT just because he now opposes Modi.
Hope this classles guy realizes how much his single point obsession of "hate Modi" is driving him to obscenity.

  5. Anti-national scum masquerading under the guise of "respected" journalists....as long as they are paid heavy sums to push their drivel and shove it down the gullible public's throats....they don't mind pimping their mothers(motherland)

    1. Agree! Unfortunately, there are far too many in our country, who are pimping their mothers (motherland) for any sort of gain! The tribe is far too many, whom you find in every walk of life, as they have no sense of love for the mother (motherland) and expect some miracles to give them the most luxurious of lives! These anti-national scums (including the English-speaking pseudo sickulars masquerading as Journos) would go to any length to ensure that the country remains perpetually corrupt and undeveloped.

  6. Guess in the times of SM, people have enough ways to identify such lame attempts to mislead the general public far better. MSM will die a bitter death.

  10. Was surprised to see THE DIPLOMAT OF CENTURY crying her heart out. At first thought that some drama has come up in US. Then thought something definitely to do with her father's issues.

The Father Son duo is no match for the great Bal Thackeray. If Sharad Pawar has started praising you, be afraid, be very afraid, it means he is not scared of you. In football, for last few years, all managers praise Arsene Wenger, because they know Wenger cannot win much though he manages one of the biggest clubs in EPL. Same is true for Shiv Sena.

  13. Ravinarji, while all of us get the hang of what you mean by 'dog' I have a very different view on 'dog'!! I have one and therefore I can confidently say, they are so different from the scum you referred. It is an insult to that faithful, loyal, fiercely friendly creature. How I wish we could coin a term for such scums as RS and his ilk!

    ReplyDelete

    1. I can't even use the word DOG to refer dogs, so much I love them. As the word dog is normally used in a derogatory sense and I respect them at most. Dog is considered as another swaroop of Vishnu or Narayan. Hence, I refer to them as "Nani" shortform for Narayan and for female ones "Naanamma". In Karnataka, a person by name Narayan will, by default, get the pet name "Nani". "Nani"s tribe will be on hunger strike if these scums (rs) are called by their names.

  14. Most Indians and NRIs condemned the racist humiliation and arrest of Devyani Khobragade because she represented India on foreign soil. Nobody, I repeat NOBODY supported her personally. Now, if Devyani Khobragade and her father found guilty in ADARSH HOUSING SCAM (one of the many scams of Sonia Gandhi's UPA govt), people will demand for highest punishment for sure. Because ADARSH HOUSING was meant for Kargil martyrs of Indian Army who lied their lives for us, but Congress crooks looted even ours Jawans and their families too.

  15. This line is brilliant - "A party that has the Tiger as its emblem is being called a dog and the head happily glosses it over"

If the real tiger late Bal Thackeray were alive today, he would have died immediately of this insult and humiliation.

    1. Rather than Bal Thackeray having died of humiliation, he would have ensured that the interview would have been RS' last.

  16. 1. The media of late (print & electronic) appears to be hoping & wishing that Modi will fail. They want it to happen. Can't these so called educated people think of the Nation rather than everything thru an anti-Modi prism. 2. One of my school teacher's used to say, "There is a big difference between being literate and being educated. One can be educated without being literate." My assessment is that most of our media persons are in the literate (or highly literate) category with very little or no education. 3. Oh, and btw, would MC consider adding Sunanda Datta Ray to his Hall of Fame?

  17. it is important to note that devyani's father is known as very corrupt and influential officer. despite having best of facilities she claimed SC status to get into IFS (just like Meria Kumar) harming deserving SC candidates. Then for only here benefit rules were changed that year so that she could be alloted US rather than some african country despite her low rank. Unlike other officers she has managed to be in USA posting for long years. One of her IFC batchmate who went court against this arbitrariness was fired from service.

  19. The interview of UT by RS reminded me of another interview. When Sharath Kumar a Tamizh actor defected from DMK and joined hands with Amma Ravi Bernard had an interview with him which was entered around one topic and that was how Sharath was insulted by DMK leaders. But Jaya TV is a party channel. What about headlines today?
