State Missionary Frauds

As with “Terror support services” financial, social and religious frauds do not survive and grow without a support network. The usual support network – Media, political groups, NGOs and international groups defy all odds to perpetuate the fraud. Mother Teresa, now St. Teresa, is not a new phenomenon except that the arrival of social media exposes her lies and conduct far more than ever before. Dr. Aroup Chatterjee has been reporting on the bogus work of ST’s Missionary for many years. He has written one recently too. This is how the bogus miracle of St. Teresa started; all over a Kodak film malfunction (from Mother Politics):

How did this MT myth and lies start? A mundane coincidence with a new kind of camera film sets off a bogus miracle: “We think it started with a movie shoot (which became the documentary Something Beautiful For God), led by Mr (Malcolm) Muggeridge. He went to Calcutta to see Mother Teresa and her work there. He wanted to film in the house of the dying and then there was little light there. So, the cameraman, Mr (Ken) McMillan, he used a new kind of Kodak film. When they saw the film, the shots were bright and when Mr Muggeridge saw it, he claimed it was a miracle. This is why she became popular in the media after that time”. The hoax requires support of the establishment, the church, media and assorted individuals. Here’s the latest establishment support. GOI could have sent one representative to be politically correct but no; it took a whole “Dirty Dozen”:

In the West, Christianity is a dying Faith. The churches and even the Vatican is full of scandals. In particular, the Vatican is also full of financial scandals and corruption. Aroup Chatterjee rightly calls ST a politician who worked for the Vatican. For a long time, they haven’t had a hero. They haven’t had a saintly person to gloat about. Only paedophiles in churches and Evangelists who turned out to be homosexuals are making news. They found one in Mother Teresa. Though the truth about this “Hell’s angel” was tumbling out for years they had to stick to their beliefs, else there would be more ignominy for the Catholic world. Chatterjee describes the haste with MT’s beatification was done without the usual wait and even the so-called miracle was a farce:

Bengalis showed some rare guts when she was beatified through a "miracle" in 2003. Doctors, and even the then Minister, made statements that Monica Besra was cured by prolonged treatment, and not by an aluminium medal. Even Besra herself periodically said her cure was not a miracle. But the Vatican treated Indian with the contempt it always has and proceeded with canonisation.  But what is so great about Catholic saints? People should realise a Catholic saint does not have to be saintly or nice in the secular sense, but has to be pure to Catholic dogma, especially on contraception and abortion. Jose Maria Escriva, a Fascist, is a Catholic saint; another Fascist, Cardinal Stepinac, is a "blessed". "Saint" John Paul II actively shielded the prolific paedophile and criminal Marcial over many years. Mother Teresa also wrote a letter of support for a convicted paedophile priest Donald McGuire, asking people to overlook his "imprudence".

All that ST wanted was that the sick and the poor die as Christians. That they get a “ticket to St. Peters” as she mentioned in one of her discourses. She is also on record stating “a lot of people confuse me as social worker, I am not a social worker. I am in the service of Jesus and my job is to spread the word of Christianity and bring people to its fold”. But once the politically-driven Nobel Prize was dished out to MT a vast majority in India believed her to be a real angel. Of course, one could say MT wasn’t dishonest to her cause. She just wanted to convert anyone available and send them to St. Peters when the time came. Healing or medical attention was hardly a priority. It is the politicians and the media that built a fake story around her which the Vatican wanted. When Mohan Bhagwat of the RSS stated that MT’s primary goal was conversion not service to the poor, even Narendra Modi could not resist the temptation of glorifying this nun. Even when there was no need for it:

It's not a comparison but just think about it. Vijay Mallya’s frauds too were supported and built by politicians, govts, media and even corrupt banks. His was a financial fraud and betrayal. It’s not different for any social fraud. The State and INSTITUTIONS support frauds till it’s too late for people to recover losses or realise the betrayal. And there will be even socialites who are so badly sold this stupidity that their utterances are beyond belief and reek of extreme moronery:

The outrage over MT being canonised and now a Saint is a bit over the top. As Chatterjee points out, for the Catholics it DOES NOT matter who the person or his/her real life was. All that matters is whether the person was faithful to the Church and their mission. We shouldn’t bother too much about St. Teresa either. Tomorrow, let the Vatican make John Dayal, Kancha Iliah or Sitaram Yechury a saint. Or for that matter let them make Sonia Gandhi a saint. What difference does it make to anyone? Nothing! It took a long time for the truth about Teresa to come in to public domain because of the Institutional support she had. The Institutional fraudsters covered up for her. This is what we must now fight to prevent in future. With SM growing in power the frauds are becoming more difficult to perpetrate.

Christianity has no more customers in the West. India is now the biggest market for Jesus-Salesmen and it is the reason that brand Teresa means a lot. New found vigour in missionary work. Conversions through bribery and food-grains. Deriding Hinduism in secret sermons. That is what the danger may be as S. Gurumurthy points out and the State colludes in this to protect its own standing or interests, not of the country:

And without much waste of time, the GOI as an Institution is all set to launch this assault on India with this one:

Schools will be set up in her name. Small street-corner churches as well as bigger churches will come up. Some govts like Kerala or TN will also fund such projects for their vote-banks. Private enterprise in this endeavour will be funded by Western forces and churches. Soul-harvesting and Crucifying India will now be an even bigger project. Not surprisingly, rationalists and atheist who rant about Hindu practices gladly welcome the imaginary miracles of Christians.

A few days prior to Teresa’s sainthood there was a report that 500 Hindus converted to Christianity in Bihar. Of course, needless to add such conversions do not follow the legal process warranted by law. So what is the way forward. Hindus cannot forever protest such sainthoods or missionaries, for whom conversion is the sole business in life. We supposedly have a govt now which came under the plank of a lot of Hindutva and Uniform Civil Code and the like. The only way to stop the menace is for Hindu activists and institutions to start petitioning the GOI to bring in a national ban on conversions. Strong activism on the ground is the only thing that will stop State and Institutional frauds perpetrating falsehoods and frauds to fool Indian masses. Else, we know the entities that want to destroy Hinduism as this image (unaware who created it) so accurately portrays.

Mother Politics

(This is a MaxiPost)

Savita Halappanavar died in Ireland in November 2012; she was only 31. She died of a pregnancy complication. Tests showed that she would lose her baby. The doctors refused to operate and abort the pregnancy. Her condition worsened and the baby died in her womb. Few days later Savita died of Septicaemia. She died when she could have been saved. She died because of stupid religion-based laws. They knowingly killed her. This is despite Ireland’s Supreme Court ruling in 1992 that abortion should be allowed if the mother’s life was in danger but the law was never changed. Savita was a victim of Catholic fundamentalists.

"If you want to sell a lie, you get the press to sell it for you”.

That’s a famous line from the movie “Argo” and it has been true for decades now. The press and media exist to sell you lies; to sell you myths. Countries like England and the Catholic world were going through an acute shortage of heroes in the late 20th century. The Pope’s power had declined dramatically. Even David Beckham was more of a marketing phenomenon than a great footballer. While he is a decent footballer, Beckham was a major flop in the international stage, especially World Cups. Records show that he had more teenage girls as fans rather than football-crazy people. Beckham was sometimes called the Anna Kournikova of football because she made more money from endorsements without ever winning a WTA tournament in her life. The Mother Teresa myth too was built by none other than the media.

There you go; the Catholic world had a new star, a new hero. And then hordes of evangelists and media from across the world would descend on the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta to meet the miracle lady. Because the West said so, our stupid Indian govts and Sickulars also passed off the lady as a miracle-worker. So recently when RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat made an off-hand remark that the motive for MT’s service was not merely service but religious conversion it set off another stupid storm in our media and Sickular political circles. I applaud Narendra Modi and the BJP staying away from this stupid controversy. Because the truth simply is that MT didn’t care about saving the poor or the dying. She just picked up the poor and dying from the streets of Calcutta, baptized them and helped them die. I am not aware of inmates of her charity being provided medical help or proper medicines in-house. Her sick-hall had only stretchers. Once an inmate got on to that stretcher he or she never got back up but was only carried to the grave.

However, because MT had been turned into a hero by the West money started pouring in – billions of dollars of money. With this money MT opened up 500 of charity branches across the world. Even with so much money I am unaware of her charity providing basic medical services to her inmates. Where did all the money go? Your guess is as good as mine. Within a decade of that Kodak-film miracle, MT was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. More celebrity-hood and saint-hood! The bogus miracle and myth now becomes beyond question. You CANNOT touch her. You CANNOT doubt her. You CANNOT ask any questions about her. Lies can be peddled easily; truth takes a while longer to come out. Dr Aroop Chatterjee was among the first to talk about the bogus tales about MT (he had first-hand experience of MT’s missionary) and based on his book another investigation followed. This investigation was by none other than the articulate, master of reason – Christopher Hitchens.

Hitchens called MT a “fanatic and a fraud”. His arguments and evidence are strongly persuading. He produced a documentary called “Hell’s Angel” which totally exposes MT as nothing more than a fraud, a political ambassador of the Catholic bosses and anti-birth control, anti-abortion campaigner. From the time MT acquired fame she had become more of a politician than a service-provider for the sick. Since the documentary by Hitchens and his book “The Missionary Position” more people were willing to come out in the open and talk about the myth called MT. Here is someone with a first-hand account; he claims to be a former AsiaWeek reporter:

Baptizing the sick and the helpless, helping them die as good Christians. In other words, MT helped the sick and dying meet the Lord faster than they would have if they had received some medical treatment. It is possible some could have survived if proper treatment had been provided. I would give her credit for allowing the sick to die with some dignity. So where was Mohan Bhagwat wrong when he alluded the motive of MT’s was conversion? He was absolutely right and in inadvertently bringing up the issue has only helped educate more Indians about the truth about MT. Following the Hitchens documentary and book TIME magazine also ran a cover story on the shady secrets of MT. One particular testimony of a former worker in response to his book is quite chilling. Here’s an excerpt from comments by Sheila Mclaren:

I worked for M Teresa in a compound just outside Calcutta... The compound housed about 300 ill and abandoned children, most of whom had been found on the streets or left at the gates of the compound. About 30 mentally disabled children were in a house away from the rest, and I this was where I worked on a daily basis. The heat was stifling; none of the ceiling fans were in working condition. There were no mosquito nets for the children, many of whom had malaria in repeating cycles. I paid special attention to a ten year-old girl with a terribly high fever, and searched the compound for a fan and/or ice to cool her. Eventually I found one refrigerator of 9 cubic feet with a tiny try of ice, and a small electric fan, both in the "parlour" for visitors. The fan did not work, and by the time I'd carried the ice through the heat back to Minu, the child, it had melted. I began asking questions, about medications, cooling facilities, mosquito nets. The Sisters explained carefully to me that they had taken a vow of poverty, and that therefore they did not use any of these "luxuries; that mine was the "western" way which did not apply in their Order. The children were there to die, and they would be loved until their deaths...

The next thing I found was that mentally disabled children are untouchable: no physician would visit them. One Doctor did visit. He was a British psychiatrist practising in the city who came to our building on a fortnightly basis, handing out various tranquillizers and what I imagined to be stabilizing medications… The Sisters did not give the medicines to the children, and laughed at me when I took it upon myself to do so… they were simply amused at my western ways, at my thinking I could and should keep these children alive. Following all this, I made other discoveries in the course of my work: Injection needles, as mentioned in the above review, were used again and again. Even more horrifying was what happened with vials of distilled water for the mixing of meds: a band-aid was placed over the broken vial containing half its original quantity of water. I questioned this and received the usual answer: Our Vow of Poverty. I said tremulously that used distilled water stored in a dusty cupboard would cause septicaemia when injected. They listened cheerfully, and equally cheerfully quoted the Vow of Poverty. A number of children died of septicaemia”.

MT neither loved the poor and sick nor children. She just loved poverty and wanted them to die as Christians. What could possibly be more perverted and sinister than this? Even the govts of Bengal and the GOI allowed all this to pass when the least they could have done is to insist certain minimum measures of medical treatment. MT wasn’t short of money as it kept pouring in truckloads since she became famous and after her Nobel prize. And was MT practicing conversion? Absolutely yes! Her charity was neither free nor selfless. First hand testimony I quoted earlier shows her process of conversion. But even without that, the very purpose and mission of a missionary undertaking charity is nothing but evangelism and conversion. The Pope defines it as such. Therefore, Bhagwat’s comment is 100% on the mark. So why are our Sickulars and our media pimps upset? It’s simple – Truth hurts! Truth destroys carefully crafted lies and myths of decades. The Sickulars will fight hard to perpetuate their lies as this time-share on Arnab’s debate on the topic shows. Note carefully the headline; the channel and anchor seek condemnation of Bhagwat, not a debate. That being the motive of the anchor he allots time based on who follows that diktat of his:

All the channels held similar bogus debates with not one channel having the courage to refer to the expose by Aroop Chatterjee, Christopher Hitchens, Lancet or Canadian researchers. MT peddled her Catholic political crusade in Europe and Latin America. She supported murderous and corrupt regimes in Haiti and other small countries. Her visits weren’t of any social nature but political interventions and lectures on behalf of the Vatican. She had no problems taking stolen money from American fraudster Charles Keating. When he was being prosecuted she nonchalantly pleaded for mercy for him. She wrote to the judge stating she didn’t bother where her money came from. Even so, where all the money went, nobody knows. MT flew in private jets and choppers, spent millions worth on her own treatment in the best hospitals but I’m unaware of any of her inmates being given decent medical treatment for their ailments. They were just meant to die as Christians. That was their only salvation. Jesus would love that?

It’s all out there and I don’t have to put up links to the thousands of pages of material now available on the topic. The fraudulent TV debates had a StreisandEffect. The more they indulged in bogus debates the more SM put out endless dossiers on the life and work of MT. It helped to educate those who still thought she was a saintly icon and discovered her work was not all that glorious or worthy of such widespread adulation and recognition. The Sickulars in the media do realise they lost this battle. Nothing expresses it better than this tweet by street-thug Rajdeep Sardesai who tries his monkey-balancing act when cornered:

What sundry media pimp Rajdeep doesn't tell you - RSS don't seek to convert people they save during calamities. The Evangelists did not spare even the ones they helped during the Tsunami - They made conversion a precondition. The audacious nonsense of our media pimps and political Sickulars is that they and their Western handlers want all the freedom to question Hindu icons. They will trash Lords Ram, Krishna, Shiva; they will address Hindu Gurus with no respect and call them by first names. They will trash Hindu customs and rituals but they will applaud so-called bogus miracles and practices of the Church and their icons like MT. It takes money to sell lies, truth is free. The Western money propels the lies of our media Sickos but now SM trashes their lies with ease. Here’s an edited excerpt from Hitchens’ ‘Hell’s Angel’ (6.12 mins):

Those claiming to serve the poor and needy often morph into politicians easily. They achieve some recognition and become what they promised that they would never become. In recent times we have Kejriwal, Medha Patkar, Anna Hazare who are openly political. Mother Teresa was just a covert politician for the Vatican. With great Catholic arrogance Mother Teresa announces Ireland will never have a single abortion. Is she a policy maker? And Mother Politics has the power to dictate what Ireland will or will not do? It’s the likes of her that have caused Catholic women sorrow when they had troubled pregnancies. A major failure! In August 2013 Ireland carried out its first legal abortion.

Who changed that country? Not Mother Teresa but a young woman who had to die to change their stupid laws – Savita Halappanavar. A young woman with no Nobel or millions in her bank. It is unfortunate Savita died but she has paved the way for many women who might face a similar situation to be saved rather than be killed. Was MT a fraud? Hitchens thinks so. But if you measure MT by her own goals and admissions she wasn’t a fraud. She just wanted to serve Jesus and wanted the sick and the helpless to die as a Christian and hold them till they die. She becomes a fraud only when she’s measured by the fake adulation and iconic status bestowed upon her by sick politicians, corrupt Church officials and corrupt Sickos in media. Practically, Mother Teresa was as much Mother Politics as any religious climber funded by extraordinary money.

Nobel Pursuits For Sonia

Myths are important to society. What would life be if it were just full of facts and nothing but facts? Facts count for a lot in courtrooms. In the movie ‘Philadelphia’ the judge tells Denzel Washington, defending an Aids-infected Tom Hanks sacked from his job: “In this courtroom, Mr.Miller, justice is blind to matters of race, creed, color, religion, and sexual orientation”. That’s a nice line and could be true. Washington responds: “With all due respect, your honor, we don't live in this courtroom, do we”? Courtrooms can claim to be blind but society isn’t. Lies, prejudices, propaganda, myths count for a lot in society! Without these our lives would be incomplete. Perhaps even boring! Take a look at the man in the pic. Would you leave a child in the care of this man? There are times when he was “Wanted” as a terrorist. He is reputed to have unleashed some terrible acts of violence as head of a terrorist group. These are written about him. Well, I will leave you to wonder who he is and what happened to him.

There are other myths that are even funny. For instance it’s a myth that Hindi is our only National language. It’s not; it’s just one of many. Now, hold your breath this next one will shock you. We don’t have a National game even. Most of us were brought up thinking Hockey is our national game. It took a young girl to establish the fact and destroy the myth, and probably the happiness of some. This same girl had previously established that the title of ‘Father of nation’ wasn’t conferred on MKGandhi by anyone (See report). That seems alright though. Titles like “Mahatma” or “Father of nation” can’t really be official govt titles. But having created the myth of the “Father” nobody dare question it for fear of rebuke or censure. It does sound, though, as if all others who fought and made sacrifices for the nation were toddlers. It can even be argued that it would be more realistic to call Sardar Patel, who is credited with uniting India as we know it, the real “father of the nation”. Historians often lie, media sells propaganda and school text books are manipulated to create many myths. One of the modern day myths perpetrated in India is about Sonia Gandhi. Umm.. she’s the equivalent of Mother Teresa as some would have us believe.

Don’t laugh, this is serious. I got to know recently that Sonia Gandhi was recommended for the Nobel Peace prize this year. That’s not all. This is the 9th time in a row that she has been recommended for that prize. The organisation consistently recommending her is called ‘International Awakening Centre. Oops! Another IAC! So I tried to find out what this particular IAC is and didn’t get very far. All I could learn is that they have an office somewhere in Delhi and do all kinds of social work. Ah! I guess one of those nice NGOs. Now hold your breath! In the latest letter recommending SoniaG for the Nobel this IAC’s head Majaz Mungeri equated her with MotherTeresa for her global work for peace. Global work? For peace? Mother Teresa? Suddenly I feel like a poorly informed citizen. SoniaG presides over the most corrupt govt India or any modern democracy in the world has ever seen. There have been various incidents of police brutalities. A Nobel Peace Prize would be quite a political coup, wouldn't it?

In over 100 years since its inception only one Indian has won the Nobel Peace Prize: Mother Teresa (MT) in 1979. Even she is considered an Albanian and not an original Indian. Despite my best efforts I have never found anything that in anyway constitutes MT’s work as contributing to peace. Not relevant though. MT herself is surrounded by a lot of myths. Not all agree on her “saintly” deeds. In one particular instance her staunch critic, the late Christopher Hitchens, recalls:

Mother Teresa “has checked into some of the finest and costliest clinics and hospitals in the West during her bouts with heart trouble and old age.” The author mentions her visit to Haiti and her endorsement of the Duvaliers, the source of much deprivation of the poor in Haiti. Also, her acceptance of stolen money from Charles Keating, “now serving a ten-year sentence for his part in the savings and loan scandal.” Keating, a “Catholic fundamentalist”, gave Mother Teresa one and a quarter million dollars and “the use of his private jet.” During the course of Keating’s trial, Mother Teresa wrote Judge Ito asking clemency and asked Ito “to do what Jesus would do.” One of the prosecutors in the trial wrote her telling her “of 17,000 individuals from whom Mr. Keating stole $252,000,000.” He added, “You urge Judge Ito to look into his heart–as he sentences Charles Keating–and do what Jesus would do. I submit the same challenge to you. Ask yourself what Jesus would do if he were given the fruits of a crime; what Jesus would do if he were in possession of money that had been stolen; what Jesus would do if he were being exploited by a thief to ease his conscience.” The prosecutor asked her to return the money, and offered to put her “in direct contact with the rightful owners of the property now in your possession.” This supposed paragon of virtue never replied to his letter. (Also read articles here and here).

Chartered flights. Not recognising corruption or responding to it. Treatment in costly hospitals in the west. Aha.. I can see where the comparison of Sonia Gandhi to MT comes from. MKGandhi was nominated 13 times and rejected (read full details here). Even Jawaharlal Nehru was nominated 11 times and rejected (read here). That must have been tiring. I’m not sure if Indira Gandhi was nominated but the Congress govt went one better in 1986. They just created the ‘Indira Gandhi Peace Prize’. Well, if Nehru-Gandhis can’t win a Nobel Peace Prize (NPP) what stops us from creating one in their name, eh? Isn’t it an irony that a national peace prize is named after the lady who imposed Emergency, throttled freedoms and jailed thousands of dissenters? There are many Mungeris in our society who like to create myths.

The NPP has been mostly awarded to Europeans and Americans with stray exceptions from the other parts of the world. Without ascribing any motives it does appear that Europe matters most to the NPP. So no surprise that this year, 2012, they awarded the prize to the European Union. Why? Oh.. it seems they hung on to their ‘economy’ or saved it or something like that. So either this NPP committee is blind or Norway doesn’t like us. (Remember that child custody thing?) How in hell did these folks forget Sonia Gandhi’s contribution to saving the European economy? Time to remind those folks. Let’s catch up with respected journalist M.D. Nalapat (Sonia’s $12B gift to Europe):

The latest gift to Europe is a cash transfer of $10 billion, evidently on top of the $2 billion already committed to the IMF. That the euro is in a terminal state is obvious. There is no way that Italy and even France can escape monetary and economic disaster.... Rather than throw money away by giving funds to an IMF controlled by Christine Lagarde for the sole purpose of getting the rest of the world to hand over their surpluses to the profligate in Europe, it would have been better to invest in gold or in assets, including assets abroad. Instead, PM Manmohan Singh, who knows the mind of his political boss well and has therefore been able to continue in office without interruption, has handed over a further $10 billion to the IMF. This at a time when the fiscal deficit of his recklessly extravagant government is reaching crisis levels. The Indian economy cannot afford to gift - for that is what any loan to certain European countries is - even $10 million. The economy is just two to three years away from bankruptcy. The decision of the Sonia-led ruling coalition to throw taxpayer money away is in line with other policies that favour Europe at the expense of India”.

The man whose pic you saw in the first para is none other than Menachem Begin, former PM of Israel (on the right in this pic). He played an important hand in the liberation and creation of Israel. In 1981 he bombed Iraq’s nuclear facilities in a pre-emptive attack. It’s the 50th anniversary of 1962 Indo-China war. Peace cannot be achieved and maintained without the willingness to fight for it. Mahatma Gandhi wasn’t too keen on the idea of having an Army, Navy or Air-force for the country. A former army man tweeted Nehru stated police are enough to take care of the defence of our country. In the face of most violent terrorist attacks from Pakistan on Indian soil the SoniaG led UPA is busy making peace without any justice for the victims. Some crazy folks even want to play cricket with Pakistan. Some in the media don’t tire of telling us about people-to-people contact and their love for “Aman Ki Asha”. Even if one overlooks all that, SoniaG is responsible for the attack on a peaceful, sleeping crowd at Ramlila grounds on the midnight of June 4, 2011. One woman, Rajbala, died. But hey, we like myths and some will keep nominating her for the NPP. You just have to wonder who these people are.

Menachem Begin was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1978 jointly with Egypt’s president Anwar Sadat. This was after a peace accord signed at Camp David, USA and after Egypt finally recognised Israel. Begin died in peace in 1983 and was buried in Israel. Anwar Sadat was assassinated in 1981 for making peace with Israel. Back home one will see more myths of SoniaG’s global work for peace.
