Another
I-Day around the corner! Let me start by again using a statement that I quote
very often from former Gallup researcher Marcus Buckingham from his ground-breaking book co-written with Curt Coffman; First Break All The Rules: "What a leader does for
followers is… turn anxiety into confidence. They’ve always done that throughout
time and in every different society and situation. When leaders lead well, it’s
because they’re able to rally people to a better future and make people
spirited when they were previously anxious”. India is anxious; Indian
govt is without a leader. Even Moses recently pointed out “anger is rising among youth” and poverty is just a “state of mind”.
People are
tired of boring, mumbling and whining speeches. They don’t want to hear another
one this I-Day. They are tired of political street gangs. They are tired of
corruption and dynastic rule. They are looking for courage and leadership. In
the absence of leadership people start drinking the sand from the mirage when
they don’t find the oasis. But people can also tell the difference when they do
see a true leader. One of the greatest gifts of leaders is to communicate and
make people respond. Somewhat like a Rockstar.
Remember the
SpiceGirls, the all-girl band from
England? They had many hits in the late 1990s but their fall was as swift
because when they went on stage in front of a live audience, people realised
they couldn’t really sing. They were studio musicians. Some of our politicians
are like that. Sometimes they are worse; they
even goof up while reading from a piece of paper. But here’s a legend that
had a very electrifying presence on stage. He could get the audience responding
to da-das and doo-doos from his songs impromptu. He could arouse passions in
the audience and get them chanting along. Watch (3.50 mins):
India is ‘under pressure’. The economy is under
pressure. The rupee is under pressure. The loveable but mundane onion is under
pressure. Indians are under pressure. They want opportunities and they want the
country to move forward. They want leadership; they want a patriot who speaks
their language and feels their hearts. That’s what they got when Narendra Modi made his appearance at a
first major rally in Hyderabad. It was a Rockstar performance. His detractors
didn’t have much to poke holes with. They were left gasping too, except for the
usual lament. But unfortunately, the usual tags of communal, fascist, bigot, Nazi,
Hitler, Yamraj, Bhasmasur didn’t follow that easily. People aren’t buying such
stuff anymore. Modi, as usual, left something for his detractors to chew upon.
And they fell for the bait hook, line and sinker. I tweeted about it and have
included someone who fell for Modi’s trap:
So Modi’s
permanent haters were quick to jump claiming he stole the “yes we can” line from Barack Obama. That’s just about all they
could find. Pawan Khera, Sheila Dikshit’s assistant, claimed the crowd
was too small for a Southern rally. BURN!
BURN! Yeah! Over 1 lakh people is
hardly a crowd in India, isn’t it? In a
historic first, people also sacrificed a meal to hear a politician speak.
Err… that would be Rs.5 which, according to a messiah, gets one a meal in
Delhi. So let’s first see who cared to even hear Modi talking:
People in
the stadium! People outside the stadium! People in private buildings! “People on the streets… Pray tomorrow - gets me higher… These
are the days it never rains but it pours”. That’s what happened on
Sunday, August 11 when NaMo rocked Hyderabad. People not only heard him from
everywhere but they responded to him like they would respond to a Rockstar. John Lennon once said spiritual gurus
are Popstars in India because of the crowds they attract who listen and follow
them. In the modern era in India no politician has acquired that status except
Narendra Modi. It’s not just his oratory but the fact that his words come from
positive thinking and are filled with passion that draws people. His
condemnation of political misdeeds by opponents is equally stinging and harsh. “Doob Maro, Doob Maro” he told the
ruling party. There’s not much you can do when the people line up behind such a
leader. You have to come up with something better than he did. Sure enough,
someone came up with something better. Trust the Congress spokie to come up
with this:
So if there
is nothing that you can counter Modi’s speech with, just utter nonsense like RenukaC did with CNN-IBN. So everybody
in the shoot-Modi business was trying to find something to run down a
spectacular meeting and speech. And in such a situation can Rajdeep Sardesai be left behind? Of
course, not! He too fell for the Modi-trap like Smita Prakash in the first
tweet on top. He thought the “Yes we can” thing was very imitative and wanted
some “desi” version. Funny! These
slaves always like English Laloos
and grovel for anything western but want “desi” when they think Modi has
plagiarised Obama. SwapanD points out that when someone points to the moon, the
idiot looks at the finger. Remember the scene from ‘Enter the Dragon’ where Bruce Lee gives some concentration
lessons to a young kid? In my previous post I had mentioned the principle of ‘measure twice, cut once’. It’s an
important principle, especially for those in the news business. Fact-check,
double-check before shooting your hate-filled head off. But if one is committed
to hate, then at some point reason and logic are sure to die a natural death in
their life. None of them bothered.
Our media folks
are so obsessed with Barack Obama that they can’t bother to check. They should,
by now, be aware that Modi lays traps for them into which they gladly fall like
a bunch of fools. Obama came to prominence during the Democratic Party’s
national convention which nominated John Kerry as their presidential candidate
in 2004. That was sometime in July 2004.
He didn’t use the term “yes we can” until his campaign in 2008. People have
traced the origins of the term to Swami Vivekananda. Modi is a big ‘bhakt’ of Swami Vivekananda. And he
used the phrase “Gujarat can, Gujaratis
will” in January 2004 during the Vibrant Gujarat festival. Here’s the video
that Modi shared in a tweet
(0.43 secs):
At the end
of it Modi asks the crowd (in Gujarati) to chant the mantra loud enough so that
it’s heard in UK and USA. Well, I
guess that’s how Obama heard that chant. But the ignoramuses never heard Modi, they
were busy cooking up stories against him and slandering him. They probably
never even read any of Swami Vivekananda because he too wore saffron sometimes.
Modi’s detractors and the media have lost
the plot. It is now his supporters who are seeking his foreign-policy
vision or his vision for Telengana/AP or offering him real criticism. You can
find such articles on the web.
India is
under pressure. Indians are under pressure. The people’s Mercury is rising through anger and frustration. Modi is
rising too. They naturally want to chant a different tune, with a different
leader. A nation thrives on self-esteem and aspirations. This has been
consistently eroded by the current govt at the Centre. Rising prices, unemployment,
nepotism, enemies at the gates, jawans being killed, terrorists being
glorified, endless scams and corruption by the govt operators! There is a dangerous monotony to it.
At a time
like this, at another I-Day celebration, hope is the only thing that floats.
Only yesterday news reports confirmed British MPs have invited NaMo to address
their parliament. The topic? “Future of
modern India”! Commenting on it, British MP Stephen Pound said “Modi is now
a player on the world stage”. If they realised their mistakes, the Indian
politicians and media celebs would do well to politically combat Modi
honourably and not with mindless hatred. The hour is still not too late. Like before, instead of listening to
another shameful lament, another mumbling and incoherent speech listen to an
inspiring speech that can lift people.
NaMo’s speech was long so not being reproduced here but you can listen
to it on Youtube.
Happy Independence Day!
Note: The first video in this post features the
late Freddie Mercury (of the band
“Queen”) at Wembley stadium, around 1986. The song: “Under Pressure” co-written with David Bowie.
Fantastic article!..He amazingly touched on important topics and highlighted problems facing the nation, it was a very inspiring speech, one needs to wonder why the media puts personal gains over national interests by spreading lies and hatred about modi, especially when the nation is going through such turmoil. National security is at its worst, economy is close to crash, law and order seems to be a distant memory, I haven't seen an India at its lowest ebb in the past 2 decades.
ReplyDeleteAfter Times now survey Headlines Today poll survey is also predicting v poor performance by BJP specially in UP of around 155 seats? Is it some internal Chal of Rajnath Singh to scuttle Modis chances n then emerge as the acceptab
DeleteE face as PM? Not much is being done inUP even if Rajnath Singh is from UP. He may lose his GZB seat if he contests again from here.
Absolutely.....Modi was perhaps too good for Congress and media morons to understand. Looking forward to your views on Nidhi " bigger picture " Razdan being walloped by British MP Barry Gardiner on NDTV (13 Aug 2013)......that was amazing but at that same time felt sorry what an ugly impression of India people like Nidhi end up projecting by saying "because we are a democracy we do not agree with judgements of our supreme courts or for that matter any court"....disgusting
ReplyDeleteAnd Nidhi was shameless enough to keep on insisting that because India is a democratic country she (and NDTV and other mediacrooks) has (have) a right to question the Supreme Court! Don't we have something called a 'contempt of court' under Indian laws?
DeleteAnd yes, I join you in the wish to see a post on mediacrooks on Nidhi who not only proved it on national television what an idiot she was, but also showcased how ill-mannered she is, by constantly interrupting MP Gardiner (who pointed it out by wondering if it was really an "interview").
Deletegreat stuff today
ReplyDeleteMercury rising, Modi rising and MC rising! Brilliant stuff! Only hope that Modi and MC dont peak too soon!
ReplyDeleteModi is the sun which is not going to set soon, he rose in Gujarat and still rising more and more over there. That is not because of some hype which some people trying to project but its because of real ground work done by him.
DeleteThe way Nidhi was appealing to Barry Gardiner was like as if her life depended on it. Throwing all self esteem to wind to downgrade the only visible partiot on the political horizon. One must have felt like a traitor for watching this paid channel.KhanChris would henceforth do well to pay people and ship them away from NaMo's meeting venues. As for the 'We will, we can'manthra none of the rabble rousers have responded to the video proof provided by readers. They have lost so much of their credibility these days, that a mainstream KhanChris politician is virtually extinct on MSM debates. It is the rhino skinned Sanjay Jha and the porn guru Abhishek all the way.
ReplyDeleteI loved this article....Modi is a ray of hope in todays scenario.. Modi spoke from his heart n we wonder why our ruling govt. never think about these issues... His vision is very clear and we want a strong PM like him. No one just no one can stop him this time...He is indeed a rockstar !!! Very Happy Independence Day to you too..
ReplyDeleteBrilliant inspiring stuff MC. Sharing this article.
ReplyDeleteCant confirm with evidence but feel "Yes we can" was a deliberate trap. A paper was passed on to NaMo at the end of the speech. After that he requested audience(not "crowd") to repeat with him "yes we can"
ReplyDeleteI also feel it was a deliberate trap by Modi. The very fact that Modi himself shared the video clip of 2004 on his twitter is proof enough that the trap was deliberate. I wish more such traps from Modi confront media.
DeleteBravo Ravi, I bow down my head. You have really touched a raw nerve. I think this was the best so far, precise on point. Keep it up and lets thrown this BUMS but in 2014
ReplyDeleteModi made the huge gathering chat both jai Telangana and Jai Andhra. The crowd did so enthusiastically. The article missed this point. I don't think any congress man would even dreamt doing this.
ReplyDeleteIt was a challenge indeed.. In the current situation of violent agitation in Andhra to make the audience in unison chant jai telengana jai andhra was a masterstoke. After a long time of decades we do have a personality who does things in an unconventional way. It will be a tragedy if our countrymen and women do not act decisively and choose him as the Prime Minister
Deletekgnayak
Dear Ravi,
ReplyDeleteA lot is being said about the origins of the Phrase "Yes we can" It in being attributed to Obama, Modi, Vivekananda but being a father of a two year old I can tell you where this comes from.. Ever seen an episode of Bob the Builder, it's title song and most commonly used phrase is, "Can we build it yes we can, Can we fix it, yes we can" The essence for the children is never say die and anything can be built of fixed if we put our hearts into it...So i guess if Modi used this phrase in a positive note, who cares where he picked it from.... He is giving hope to millions of Indians that yes we can build our country and yes we can fix our problems.. Something the people have never felt under 50 plus years of Congress misrule...
Well said.
DeleteHit nail on head! As long as he can deliver!
Delete"If they realised their mistakes, the Indian politicians and media celebs would do well to politically combat Modi honourably and not with mindless hatred"... excellent advice....
ReplyDeleteLet us not drive KhanChris to the wall. We know what they did in 1975.Let us not invite another Emergency. They can engineer any pretext to bring in this.Anybody, as power hungry as them will take such extreme steps. So I request all MC readers to excercise some restraint to not invite such disasters. It is a question of survival for the dynasty. Nothing seems to be working for them now and i am afraid my worst fears may come true.Sanjay Jha is bearing the brunt of all their misgovernance and if there is anyone to be a Sanjay Gandhi for the next emergeny, I think that privilage should go to his namesake(Jha) for the sheer reselience that he exhibits every evening in MSM.
DeletePlease take my bow. Brilliant as usual. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteEach post is brilliant. Hate filled speeches have stopped being irritating. Now a days, any (loose) talk by these clowns, chamchas and paid media sounds plain ridiculous, unworthy of our attention
ReplyDeleteAgain brilliant article. Why not you start your channel.
ReplyDeleteThis is the best article I have read in a very long time. I just hope NaMo sets the stage on fire next independence day. May this be the last independence under the Congi rule
ReplyDeleteNaMo is a Political Rockstar, he has touched every patriot's heart. Coming days will be very crucial for his campaign as Paid Media will play every dirty trick to malign him. Brilliant write up again @Mediacrooks. Keep us informed.
ReplyDeleteSeems like Advani and his friend Yashwant Sinha too, at last, have seen writing on the wall.
ReplyDeleteTrue, heat is rising and affecting anti-nationals

Rajdeep Sardesai's tweet was clearly sarcastic, mocking Renuka's comment. Can't believe you misinterpreted it!
ReplyDelete@Kokuryu
DeleteI cant believe you read something so clear and still manage to confuse yourself so badly. Rajdeep's tweet was a response to SwapanD on August 11. RenukaC comment to CNN-IBN was on August 12. So Rajdeep was mocking her in advance? You do have some imagination. Hahhaa!
Happy Independence Day to you too...
ReplyDeleteVery well countered.Compliments.Swapanda's Chinese proverb is very apt.You are right.Modi has learnt to lay traps for these guys to fall. They have been after him now for more than a decade.
ReplyDeleteHappy independence day and let us hope that we celebrate a true CONGRESS MUKT independence day on 15.8.14.
Freddie Mercury or The Queen (Songs We Are The Champions, We Will Rock You etc) was one awesome singer whose vocal range can go upto 3 octaves. Just listen to this one and you will understand WHY people follow people and show up on their presence in their cities. Same happens with Modi as he is able to connect with people. Being a witness to that event, I can say, am not worried now, MSM can spread any lies they want, it's the people who can now observe well.
ReplyDeleteWe Are The Champions Song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04854XqcfCY
Now, this guy, Akbaruddin Owaisi, well Modi came, Modi Conquered, Modi Won and Modi Left. His worst dream came true. Foot in the Mouth syndrome.
Finally, one comment about the Renuka Chaudhary pic and her venom. Am pretty sure, Rajdeep, follows this blog and even checks comments to understand what people think of him. Here's the thing:
1. You are an editor of some big national channel and you allow this kind of contents on your TV where someone says speech was prepared in USA????? Is that a script of some Karan Johar movie where he goes to NY and come back to discuss about it?
2. Who you are trying to fool? This kind of content clearly establishes that you will publish anything without facts just like the News Paper ToI. Investigation journalism, have you ever heard of it?
3. Be smart, fight like a Man. Learn.
Very well said.Fight like a man.
DeleteWell written...Even in the villages people are talking about Modi..During Modi live speech no Indians went out of the home here in Kuwait even though it was a Eid holiday here..That is his power..
ReplyDeletekindly note . the task is not over yet. Everyone of us wherever we are, even be abroad shall go the poll booth and vote. Until and unless everyone of us act decisively the citizen.s responsibility is not over.
Deletekgnayak
NaMo's "Jai Seemndhra" and "Jai Telangana" was the master stroke. I do not see any other politician who has courage to speak this in these testing time in that region. All the media people were telling us that Congress has taken away the main plank of Telangana in Andhra from NaMo what will NaMo do now?. Now media can see what a true leader can do. (In fact I believe Congress desperately rushed in to this decision of bifurcating because of NaMo's scheduled meet on 11th Aug 2013)
ReplyDeleteLook at the stupidity of Nidhi Razdan while interviewing Barry Gardiner of Britain. ( of course she got slapped by Gardiner)
ReplyDeletehttps://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=591526560897546
This reminds the famous line of Yudhisthir in Mahabharat, " We may be against each other, but for you we are hundred and five". When will media persons learn human values from our own culture?
This is by far one of the best articles I have ever read. This article has so many layers to it. From creating euphoria amongst the crowds to traits of cult personalities, every word can be weighed in gold. Kudos!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Independence Day :)
ReplyDeleteWell said and spot on. NaMo definitely rocks. Happy Independence to you too
ReplyDeleteBhagvatgita 4.7...Whenever and wherever a decline of righteousness and a predominance of unrighteousness prevails,at that time I (NAMO) manifest Myself personally.
ReplyDeleteModi is the idea, whose time has come, nobody can stop it...
ReplyDelete"He didn’t use the term “yes we can” until his campaign in 2008."
ReplyDelete"Well, I guess that’s how Obama heard that chant."
Well I'm afraid, you are wrong buddy.
Obama used "Yes, we can...." as the slogan of his campaign for 2004 Illinois Senate election. FYI, he started his campaign as early as March 2003.
http://www.esquire.com/features/best-and-brightest-2008/barack-obamas-speech-writer-1208
Of course it's not Obama, who came up with the term, He just adopted the English version of the Spanish slogan "SÃ, se puede".
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S%C3%AD_se_puede
But every kid knows who made the three words "yes we can" famous. Yes it's not Modi.
I'm not telling Modi copied Obama, I guess it's too cheap to run behind the every word of politician's script writers.
I'm just reminding you of your own principle of ‘measure twice, cut once’. It’s an important principle, especially for those in the news business.
"Fact-check, double-check before writing your opinions as facts."
Happy Independence Day :)
Of what relevance is your comment? When you quote the author's "Guess that's how Obama heard that statement" part you clearly missed the sarcasm and took it for real and offered an explanation for that? Obama's usage of the slogan is known only from presidential campaign of 2008 that is relevant to compare. his senator race hardly matters to India but Modi's usage of terms will matter in India. So you are picking on a non-issue.
DeleteWhen somebody uses "Guess" in the beginning of the statement, it is meant to be sarcasm. this is trivial man. It didn't mean Obama copied from Modi, it merely states that they are very likely not linked and people have used the above statement (Yes we can) a number of times in crisis to infuse confidence.
DeleteSo far I have not found any 'cheapness' in Ravinar blogs.
DeleteRavinar is neither a Sanjay Jha nor a Diggy Raja. Both of them see great leader in Pappu all the time.
Superbly written and aptly sums up the atmosphere in the country today
ReplyDeleteExcellent article, hit on bulls eye....... Request - can you no write something on our Rahul Baby 8 years in Parliament ? Understand he has more than 70% absentism, spoke only on 2 occasions rest of the time chatting on his blackberry with his South American girl friends ? I do avoid using the word Amul Baby for Rahul baby for it would be insult to Narendra Modi..... & his gujarat....
ReplyDeleteKeep writing...excellent piece...
Ravi has written na!
Delete"Even Moses recently pointed out “anger is rising among youth” and poverty is just a “state of mind”.
Such wholesome praise for the prince charming! :D
On rethinking..... i think it should be like this... Amul Babu is Narendra Modi, Mother baby = Barmaid son & College drop out, Rahul Gandhi (his admission was in sports quota i.e. he was a good chaser of females, better than American BOLT), for the Milk supplied by Mother dairy in New Delhi comes fair share of supply from Gujarat i.e. Amul.
DeleteAmul Baby gives nightmares to Mother baby
I am old enough to be your grandfather but I am not ashamed of saying that I bow before you. Please keep on writing as you do ..God Bless you..
ReplyDeleteI am amazed at your extensive knowledge. Bringing in rock music to buttress your points, I swear, is really great.
ReplyDeleteSir watch the video link...clearly shows how hell bent NDTV in doing an anti Modi propaganda, it is amazing how many times she uses the word controversial, and funnily British MP Gardiner has to give it back to her. Should they be telling people this any ways...as Mr Modi correctly said "dub maro dub maro"
ReplyDeletehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DEGIQR-AeA
Brilliant once again MC, I have been following mc for over a year now. Must say that you hit the nail on the head every time. Slowly but surely folks are beginning to see the propaganda of these 'alleged' news channels. Thanks in a large part to MC I am able to make people realize what they see on the English media is plain BS.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Modi is concerned, I was at the rally in Hyderabad. Initially, I was skeptical about the crowd turn out as Hyd has a large Muslim population which I can say is quite radical. But amazing job done by the BJP folks in having banners spread out across the city at major places. In fact, I was one among those 1 lakh people who managed to get into the stadium and was amazed at the enthusiasm people had to see Modi and at sharp 4pm when he stepped in, it was all pandemonium and no one was worried about what the current speaker was saying :).
Vishnugupt, to an extent even I believe that congress rushed the decision for T because of this public meeting. But the way Modi checkmated them by making the crowd chant 'Jai Telangana' and 'Jai Seemandhra', took me even by surprise :). No one has ever dared to do that and here comes a man with a fresh outlook and people actually did it :). I just hope India votes for the better this time around and gets rid of the dynasty for good.
Every educated person seem to think in the same way. We can only hope and pray that the wish does not remain only as a dream. It is an opportunity which may not be available once again.
DeleteAs mentioned in one of my comments earlier. Modi once again used the unconventional
way this morning by his talk at Bhui. It was an excellent speech . He was right in speaking to the audience in Hindi instead of in gujarathi in Gujarath. It was a well thought of a speech replied to the PM on everypoint raised in Lalkila this morning earlier. kgnayak
Mercury is rising nd Venus ( Modi) is shining
ReplyDeleteSimply most excellent article, who soever reads, he will be filled with excitement and full of JOY. thanks to you and to your brilliance in putting the matter in a very systematic manner with many truthful facts, and amusing readers with other co-related amusing matters. JAI HIND
ReplyDeleteAs you so beautifully put, when the mercury rises the heat is getting too much for these rats and when rats are cornered they run helter skelter to save their backs and that of the queen. Otherwise, it is hard to believe that even a novice can come up with such pathetic anchoring. If in an interaction lasting 4.39 minutes (as per the video clip in youtube) an anchor uses the adjective "controversy/ial 6 times and a "blot on human rights" 1 time to describe the subject, then even a fool can understand the prejudice and hatred of the anchor towards the subject i.e. NAMO. I don't think these MSM celebs does this for money, this comes from pathological hatred towards anything Hindu and that is now crystallized into one potent symbol - NAMO. I doubt even stem transplant can help these hate peddlers.

ReplyDeleteSilent emergency in India:
ReplyDeleteAccording to our secular government & media
1. Pakistan attacked our borders : Don’t politicize it
2. More than 5 crore illegal Bangladeshi migrants in India: Don’t utter a word about it
3. Black money issue : don’t protest or we will crush with water canons & lathicharge in midnight over sleeping people
4. Durga shakti nagpal suspension: Don’t politicize it
5. Uttarakhand tragedy, more than 6000 people missing & not declared dead yet: don’t politicize the tragedy
6. Robert wadra property aggrandizing: Don’t politicize it its state matter & he is private person
7. More than 130 in UP, 50 in Assam & in many other parts of India encounters took place : Don’t utter a word about it
8. More than 30 riots in UP & riots in other secular states in last one year: Don’t utter a word about it
9. More than 1 lakh people in assam living in refugee camps: don’t utter a word about it
10. Farmers suicide & draught situation : Don’t politicize it
11. GDP at 4.5%, inflation higher, rupee falling, IIP lowered: don’t politicize it, it’s due to foreign economies
12. Increased crimes against women/ child in capital & UP, ridiculous law & order situation in country: Don’t protest & politicize it
13. Kishtwar violence: Don’t utter a word about & hide it for four days by media ;when Arun Jetly tried to get the truth: Don’t politicize it
All this is a form of a silent emergency enforced in India in collusion with chaprasi police force, chaparasi bureaucracy, CBI , paid media & many other government related institutes
A simple & latest example of this silent emergency:
On Modis visit & speech in Hydrabad, almost half of the city was under load-shedding, in this co-conspirator was state electricity board
This form of emergency is even more dangerous than the actual emergency
My blood boils, After all these if someone try to prove me India’s democratic principles
Yes. Agree with you. This boiling will subside only if congress / UPA gets thrown out / pulverized in next lok sabha elections . Else this will destroy us all.
Deletedear Naikwade
DeleteKindly do not underestimate the powers of real emergency. I remember very clearly an incident I percieved at that time. Only a few more days were remaining for the elections of 77 to start. Emergency was I believe still on but people were getting courageous to speak their mind. I happen to travel from Bangalore to Cochin to give moral support to then a Minister of the central Govt based in Cochin on behalf of my employers. I mentioned to him that they are not coming back to power. to which he politely replied that it may be so but he would win in his constituency. We both proved to be true. Undercurrent is clearly flowing
Yes I feel the same type of situation now. The silent majority will act decisively this time too.. New phase will start after the next election. It wont be same once again

Ravinar, love your work. Please see this video that NDTV has already taken down from their website: Nidhi Razdan Interviewing British MP Barry Gardiner. It is the media crooks in action again.
ReplyDeleteJust observing Nidhi Razdan's crestfallen face after Barry Gardiner's ticking off is a pleasure in itself. But these creatures have no dignity or shame. Begum Barkha Dutt and Vir Singhvi, both exposed during the Radia affair, are back peddling their filth as if nothing has happened.
DeleteIf BJP functionaries are reading this then this is one very good opportunity for hauling up Ndtv for contempt of Supreme Court , lowering of journalistic standards , questioning the competence/ qualifying criteria for eligibility as a journalist, defining standards for conduct and reporting .
DeleteA very good opportunity to expose and shame paid media publicly .
Check CNN IBN interview of Mr Barry Gardiner by Rajdeep. The questions are exactly the same. But he did not "talk over him" to borrow Gardiner's word said in the NDTV interview. That saved the day for Rajdeep. But going by the format of the interview and the questions asked I wonder if all these paid channels get their queries designed from some common source in the dirty tricks dept of KhanChris.

also dynamic responses to leaders like this isn't a first. i consider myself a anti communist but youve got to come here and listen to speeches by leaders like vs achuthanandan . sure just a lot of vitriol and comedy but his followers lap it up in a spectacular fashion. what this proves is he defenitely has a demi god status among his followers
No different to Status of Barmaidjee and Pappu in eyes of Khangress leaders. Just look at last years picture of Poodle Singh and his ministers waiting for Barmaidjee to arrive at Redfort. When a PM behaves like a dog, he needs to be treated like a dog. Happy independence day!
DeleteI would have agreed with you for any other PM. But not MMS.
DeleteIs Independence day really relevant for him? Then why he raises the bogey of narrow and sectarian ideology?
Any ways, here is an observation NRI brother of my friend.
In last 9 years while holding the position of PM he was not heard explicitly asserting patriotism.
Never asserting I AM INDIAN, never asserting I LOVE MY COUNTRY, never asserting MY COUNTRY IS GREAT.
Ashwin,

Did PM show the decorum of independence day you were expecting from Narendra Modi?
Happy Independence Day Ravinar Bhai! If, 4th Pillar of democracy is Media then You,Likes of you, Social Media are combindly the 4th Pillar and MSM are nothing but termites...Jay Hind!
ReplyDeleteThe recent survey first by Times now n today by Headlines Today present a very depressing picture . BJP is losing badly in UP with around 12 seats. Is Muslims vote with its 1 pont agend of defeating Modi n it's population of 20-30% become 40-60 % due to their habit of 100% voting. Hindus still vote according to their caste n where ever these Muslim vote align with Yadav or Jatav votes that party will win. How to counter it?
ReplyDeleteLoved your comparison...In fact when it comes to sermonizing Lord Rahul (Buddhu) belittles even Moses.
ReplyDeleteA very biased blog entry, for an entity that is investigating into Media Crookedness.
ReplyDeleteHi Ravi,
ReplyDeleteAs an ardent follower of Mediacrooks blog, i would like to bring to your notice that many people are aligning and supporting NaMo to be the future PM of India. In our recent address of Mr.Modi in Hyderabad (Aug 11 2013),we as an independent group of NaMo followers have distributed 50,000 stickers of Mr.Modi to rally the support of people for Modi as PM. Can you please share the sticker to show that not just BJP workers but many people are willing to work for Mr.Modi which is an unusual phenomenon in today's politics. Please let us know how to send the attachment to your blog to share with all our nationalist friends.
thanks
Pretty interesting comment by Mr.Firoz

Pls answer honestly, is this a BJP-sponsored blog?
ReplyDeleteI have been reading it as a neutral reader (for the past 2-3 weeks); cant help but notice it seems a bit biased towards BJP. Hardly have I read anything negative/critical about BJP.
Protection spells deal directly with Force and Power Spells.
ReplyDeleteThese spells create a shield around you which prohibits evil magics from harming you (or whoever you cast the spell on).
When these spells are cast incorrectly nothing happens.

How much ever great or tall Modi is, we have remember that for BJP to win elections, they need to resolve internel issues, require huge voter turnout and maintain an aggressive stance against UPA just as Modi does.
ReplyDeleteVery well articulated piece!Waiting 4r May 16 and God willing NaMo will be our PM.Would luv to see the faces of all those journos who hv been cursing Modi 4r 14yrs+
