Rahul Gandhi: India's Biggest Disaster In the Making...

There are abundant stories about Rahul Gandhi on the internet that the mainstream media will never report. Full of ass-licking reporters and journalists that our MSM is filled with it is only the small bloggers and passionate patriots who report the stories of this wonderboy called Rahul Gandhi.

It is perhaps the greatest tragedy for this nation to get prime ministers like Manmohan Singh. His utterances on various issues or silence on issues of significance makes me wonder if we really deserved something as bad as this. His latest on the Kashmir issue offering "autonomy" is one such foolish statement. The Congress is virtually leading up to the path where Kashmir will soon be an Islamic state. That there is already something like Article 370 in the constitution, displacement of millions of Pandits from that state, and TV channels and immoral intellectuals promoting the cause of separatists is beyond this prime minister. Instead of coming down firmly in a war-like approach towards the separatists this constant talk of dialogue is nothing but a sure recipe for disaster. It has been fashionable for Congress to coin slogans like "Garibi Hatao", "Aam Aadmi" and so on, when the greatest gift to the nation by the party has been Corruption! Corruption in every form possible, from politics, businesses, the Babus, and even to the Commonwealth Games. Nothing has been spared.

It is in this context of pandering to muslims, vote-bank politics, destruction of everything that stems from the age-old Hindu values of tolerance and peace that the thought that the Congress' future prime minister will one day be Rahul Gandhi. The man is the biggest disaster in the making for India. Except for playing the drama-queen, like Indira Gandhi once used to do, in going to villages or places and dressing up like tribals, having a token meal with a poor family, or running around local trains in Bombay (with a minister carrying his footwear) to the inconvenience of other commuters, mundane speeches telling tribals how he saved their village, what does the man really have for substance?

Lets start with his education! He is supposedly M.Phil, Computer Scientist, Harvard Graduate, St. Stephen's alumni. With such academic background I wonder why he isn't in NASA instead of being a lousy politician. Or probably, as many investigative reports would frequently suggest, he is not more than 12th Class pass. There is nothing in his utterances that would even vaguely suggest that he has gone through some form of higher education. Nothing wrong with that. You don't need a great IQ to be in Indian politics. Well, even his father didn't get through Cambridge and returned with an au pair for a wife. His mother is often reported to have studied at Cambridge. I wonder why Cambridge University never takes these fallacies as an insult to them! Still, lets give the man a pat on the back, he is definitely an improvement upon various politicians who have never got past 7th Class in school. And, I don't for a moment believe that formal graduation has anything to do with anyone's wisdom or character. This is where Rahul Gandhi is suspect. The least I would expect of a future prime minister is wisdom and character.

He is reported to have travelled to the USA on an Italian passport with his Latino girl friend and detained at an airport by the FBI in 2001 with a bag-full of dollars. Surprisingly, the issue was reportedly hushed up by the then NDA government, when it should have conducted a full-scale investigation of where the money came from, what its purpose was and why the FBI had detained him. Maybe this runs in the family, his uncle Sanjay Gandhi (then Sanjiv Gandhi) was once arrested by the London police for a petty car theft. If these are rumours then Rahul Gandhi would do well to stand up and provide a concrete and conclusive explanation. However, it doesn't stop with that.

There are abundant reports on the internet suggesting Rahul was involved in a gang-rape in Amethi in December 2006. The police are said to have hushed up the case and no FIR was ever registered. Any ordinary man who's aware of a rape case being reported against him would immediately work and go all out to have his name cleared if he was innocent. No such thing by Rahul Gandhi yet to my knowledge. There are also reports that immediately after the Bombay carnage of 26/11 our heir apparent was partying away in Delhi in the first week of December. This is supposedly the man who shares the grief of the common man and villagers. It is also our big misfortune that we have a lame media that gleefully keeps off all such news from people. Instead, our media never fail to fall over each other in covering Rahul Gandhi's tours and giving ample air time to his stupid and childish utterances. This is also the man who, while nearing 40, went on a "Discover India" trip. And the one who reportedly went on a trip to Afghanistan because "he was bored in Delhi"!

That Rahul Gandhi has neither wisdom nor character is beyond any doubt to me. Where does this come from though? His family has a history of perpetrating unwanted miseries on India. I have nothing against Jawaharlal Nehru, but cannot help thinking he nearly turned India into a communist state, repressed free enterprise, compromised Kashmir, had a flawed China-policy leading to the 1962 war and defeat by China, who grabbed parts of our land and are still in possession of those, fathered the now redundant Non-Aligned movement. All this only indicates lack of vision in a leader of young democracy. Of course, Nehru is also the man to have caused the perpetual imposition of "reservations" in this country, one of the most divisive policies ever.

Then we had the infamous Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi and following her death the slaughter of Sikhs by Congressmen who still roam free. Amid the tragedy, Rahul's father Rajiv Gandhi, could only come up with a stupid statement "when a great tree falls, the earth is bound to shake" (or something to that effect). To Indira Gandhi's credit one can say she was at least bold and courageous. I see nothing of that sort in Rahul Gandhi.

What about his father Rajiv Gandhi? The man came to parliament with the biggest ever majority and the only thing he used it was to reverse a Supreme Court order in the Shah Bano case with a constitutional ammendment. An ammendment that deprives muslim women of rights available to other women. Yet, this party is supposedly the champion of muslims. It doesn't end there. Rajiv Gandhi is alleged to be involved in the big Bofors scandal, also involving Sonia Gandhi's relatives, and letting off Warren Anderson in the Bhopal Gas tragedy. In short, Rajiv Gandhi was another prince who was just as stupid as his son is. Yet instead of being ashamed of such a prime minister we have an unending number of roads, airports, bridges being named after the man.

With all that in his blood it is too much to expect Rahul Gandhi to be an epitome of wisdom or character. I would not be surprised if on a thorough medical examination he is found to be mentally retarded. Such are his utterances and behavioral patterns. I am a patriot as much as any other Indian but I must woefully state that it has to be a nation of idiots and fools, that deserves a prime minister like Rahul Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi was wise enough to realise that her ignorance would be thoroughly exposed if she had ever taken that office when she had the opportunity. I am not sure Rahul Gandhi even has the slight wisdom his mother had. I can only hope the Congress party disappears soon if their only hope for the future is this moron. When he opens his mouth I cannot help being reminded of Moose in the 'Archie' comics. Duh ?

  1. Well Rahul Gandhi's uncle Quattrochi is proud of his misconducts and role in hoodwinking the poor and backward Indian masses in the Villages. he has indeed learned a lot from his Uncle since he spend his child hood with Italian mafia and pretend to be a sober and caring image.

  4. Amul Rahul says he does not want to be a hero, exactly he can never also be a villain, since already his Videshi Maa and party members have eaten away a large chunk of what was India before Independence, I hope a special cell is constructed to house the present PM and the chairperson of UPA, and their chelas

  8. Dear Ravinar,

Mr Rahul Gandhi has been systematically mouth fed this notion that he would be the Prime minister of this country in 2014. Hence for the last 10 years the congress pet media channels (NDTV & IBN) have been trying to impose this myth on minds of their viewers. Now after the Ramdev & Anna episode, this buffoon & his media management team is clueless of how to impose him as PM in 2014 & their frustration is in open. Hence they are trying to suppress the Civil society members, BJP & anybody who shows any strength of conviction to expose him & his media management team led by Mr Chidambaram .

  9. I agree with you that Rahul is the biggest disaster in the making. Also, no other Prime Minister in India (perhaps Post-Nehru in 1950s) was vested with absolute majority in parliament and still none of his paper-agreements or actions like IPKF, Longowal Pact, AASU sign-up-pact or decisions like Shah Bano amendment, the Shilanyas ceremony at Ayodhya, etc.. etc.. gained any substance worthy of mention of a Prime Minister. They were all done in a hurry and without political wisdom. Though, Rajiv Gandhi was a good human being and his loyalty to India cannot be questioned. But, to become a Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi should have had more than these attributes which unfortunately was not to be. Less said of even these qualities which Rajiv had, about Rahul, the better.

  10. In contrast to Priyanka’s assertiveness, one of her only two competitor’s to the Gandhi mantle, her brother Rahul displays an awkwardness and the type of submissive behavior, which does not a leader make. In comparison to Priyanka’s strong and colorful demeanor, Rahul looks like an insipid hanger on. Much of his lack of self-esteem can be attributed to the explosive secret that Rahul Gandhi is in fact mentally retarded. His mental handicap has been well hidden by the Gandhi family and the unconscionable press.

  12. BJP should learn a lesson or two in media management & play the same game with the Congress. Its India's only hope lest the people forget the recent scams in 2014.

    1. Though not good enough to graduate from Cambridge, Rajiv Gandhi was a reasonably intelligent person. But till two years before he became the Prime Minister of India in Oct 1984, his only experience was as the driver of a flying truck (as the pilot of cargo airplanes). That inexperience showed in all his decisions as the Prime Minister, except in relaxing the import restrictions on computers and in reforming the telephone communications (not Internet, mobile telephony, modern automobiles, stock market boom etc., which materialised in India, courtesy Narasimha Rao, much after Rajiv Gandhi died in May 1991). Without computers and advanced communication, Rajiv Gandhi could not have piloted the cargo planes for many years. So Rajiv Gandhi's fascination for computers and communications were the only experience he brought to the table of Prime Minister. So he did well in those two areas. Yet there was a downside even in that achievement due to the lack of holistic experience in governance. While Rajiv Gandhi liberally opened the Forex Reserves for importing computers etc. he did not have the wisdom to make sure that India needed to improve the country's forex earning capability to ensure that the country's forex reserves should not be drained out through import to such dangerous levels, that within a year and half of Rajiv Gandhi losing the election in 1989, the country had to mortgage its Gold reserves to the Bank of England to raise the forex required to serve the essential import needs of the country. Therefore in spite of his only achievement in the areas of then time computers and communication, Rajiv Gandhi's tenure as Prime Minister of India was an unmitigated disaster. What to say about Rahul Gandhi? He had ten years to prove his worth in Governance under UPA-I and UPA-II. But he CHOSE not to utilise that opportunity. He could have taken up a ministry of his choice for such performance. In that case Rahul Gandhi's ten years as a Central Minister could have been compared with Narendra Modi's twelve and half years as Chief Minister. But today there is no rational ground at all to compare the two. Even as an organisational man, Rahul Gandhi has been thoroughly and negatively exposed in the last ten years. Ten years is a VERY LONG time for a person in politics to prove whether one is a leader of SUBSTANCE or not.

    2. One more very important point. The IT boom in India is also courtesy Narasimha Rao. Please check with Mr. N R Narayana Murthy. Shortly before Narasimha Rao became Prime Minister and when Rajiv Gandhi was still alive (Rajiv Gandhi died in May 1991), and was providing outside support to Chandrasekhar as Prime Minister, all promoters of Infosys, except Mr. Murthy, had resolved to wind up Infosys due to the extremely stifling environment in the country at that time for software export. But Mr. Murthy prevailed upon them to wait for some more time, and then liberalisation-globalisation happened under Narasimha Rao from June 1991 onwards, and the IT boom started, and among many others Infosys also flourished. For political convenience of the Nehru-Gandhi family Narasimha Rao’s legacy stands forgotten, but the fact remains that as the Prime Minister-cum-Industry Minister, Rao was the architect of the liberalization-globalisation of India, who appointed a bright but submissive retired bureaucrat Dr. Manmohan Singh as Finance Minister to create a suitable financial format for Rao’s vision. So it is patently unfair to apportion Rao’s legacy even to Dr. Singh, leave alone to Rajiv Gandhi. At the age of 71 when Narasimha Rao became Prime Minister, he carried with him decades of experience as Minister in State Govt, Chief Minister, and Central Minister. With that holistic experience and innate wisdom he understood the stifling nature of the erstwhile license-permit raj and what needed to be done to let loose the creative energy bottled up in the multitude of Indians. And those who lived and worked before June 1991, including the period of Rajiv Gandhi, knows what a different India we live today in, and they honestly thank God for choosing Narasimha Rao for starting the transformation. It should also not be forgotten that Narasimha Rao was running a minority Govt. at that time and only because the main opposition party of that time – BJP – had cooperated with Rao he could proceed with his liberalization-globalisation initiatives, because every other opposition party was for the continuation of the license-permit raj. In the history of independent India, only two Congress prime ministers were uninfluenced by Nehru-Gandhi family – Lal Bahadur Shastry and Narasimha Rao – and both had rendered sterling performance, but both were consigned to the dustbin of Congress history, and every credit was and continues to be apportioned to Nehru-Gandhi family! For instance, we all will live long enough (it does not have to be very long) to see how Dr. Singh will be consigned to the dustbin of the Congress history for all the ills of UPA-1 and UPA-2, because all the good points shall exclusively belong to Nehru-Gandhi family only. Just look at the opening page of Rahul Gandhi’s pressbrief.in accessed through the main menu of gandhirahul.co.in
