A Motherlode Of Lies - Part 2

It is not possible for the present population to easily imagine what salaries were like during the period 1947-1991. The lowest salary of a central govt employee in 1947 was Rs.55 per month and the highest was Rs.2000 per month. Even during the 1970s to 1990s, salaries were not very high in India. An officer in a private company was considered earning well if he had a salary of Rs.500 in the 1960s and 70s. The price of a 250ml Coke in the 1970s was 50 paise. George Fernandes banished Coca Cola from India in 1977 during the Morarji Desai govt. The cheapest unreserved railway ticket in late 1970s was Rs.27 for 500 kms. Roadside tea was no more than 10 paise for a small cup. 1 paisa, 2 paise, 5 paise, 10 paise, 25 paise, 50 paise coins were still in circulation and so too were the 1-rupee and 2-rupee notes. A man earning Rs.150 pm in the 1970s could run a family of 4 in a rented house. That is all most people earned or even lesser:

What is the context? Well, Narendra Modi claims all over that he was “Gareeb” during his childhood, sold Chai and slept at railway stations. He even claimed selling tea on trains. All of this is a fraudulent piece of garbage. His father sold tea, that much is borne out by his brother. Modi didn’t sell any tea. If his father sold tea at 5 paise per cup during the 1950s-60s then at say 100 cups per day that would be Rs.150 per month. There is no way in hell that was a bad earning for a man to send his wife out to wash bartans and clothes of neighbours. Rs.150 in the 50s-60s was what a man earned in Bombay and ran a family of 4 in the suburbs and that included paying school fees for 2 kids. Even at the posh, aristocratic school for very rich snobs called Doon School, the annual fees was Rs.1800 in 1946.

Modi lived in a proper, pucca house, went to a proper school by his own admission, participated in NCC, took all kinds of photographs in suits and bow-ties. And on top of that, his family also took care of Abbas’s shelter, food, clothing and education. How in hell was this guy “Gareeb” by any stretch of imagination? It’s the biggest propaganda farce played out for victimhood. Modi’s Ghanchi community was not even under “Backward Class” till 1999. The more you lie, the more you compound those lies and even start believing that some of those lies are true when they are not. This is the case of Modi and no one in the media ever scrutinized his lies thoroughly through rationale, logic or circumstantial evidence. Modi’s lifestyle during his childhood was hardly that of a Gareeb but rather of a lipstick, dreamy kid aspiring to some Bollywood career. So, let’s continue with the fantastic lies of Modi. We counted 4 in the first part, let’s count some more.

#5. My mother washed bartans of neighbours:

In a show with Mark Zuckerberg, Modi responded to a question by MZ on how important an influence his mother was on his life. We actually don’t know and by Modi’s account he quit school and went off to the Himalayas and then came back, got married and again went away from home. In a tear-jerking performance that would be the envy of Meena Kumari, Modi grandly narrates in a choking voice, often pausing to concoct his lies that his mother washed bartans of neighbours, filled water for them to financially support his family (video: 1.02 mins):

As explained in detail earlier, as a Chaiwalla, Modi’s father would have earned anywhere between 150/- to 200/- per month even at a price of 5 paise per tea-cup. That was enough to run a family in those days when grains were still selling at “ek-anna, char-anna, atthanni” etc. On top of that, Modi also claimed they housed Abbas, fed him, educated him and fed all the neighbouring kids during Eid. So, this mother was a “domestic maid” is a FANTASTIC LIE spun out of nowhere, is unverifiable, not corroborated by any of his family members. It is extremely RARE for Gujaratis to work as domestic servants, especially not their women. The only community in Gujarat that allows its women to work as domestics is the Rabari (milk farmers) community. DOWN ANOTHER STUPID LIE!

#6. Mai Kunwara hoon (I am a bachelor):

This is perhaps one of the most dubious cover-ups and lies of Modi’s life. All during his tenure in Gujarat, most people assumed he was unmarried and a bachelor. That assumption was due to his conduct where he never appeared with his wife anywhere at all and in none of the election nomination papers in Gujarat elections did he ever mention being married. He just left that block blank. Such is the LYING nature of this man. It is not just that, in a program with Rajat Sharma, Modi grandly claimed he is a “Kunwara” (Bachelor) and there are benefits to it. Such is the extreme NONCHALANCE of this liar who had dumped his wife. Watch this video (31 secs):

That bootlicking moron Rajat Sharma also describes Modi as Kunwara and as “most eligible bachelor” and asks when he will “settle down” but even to that, Modi does not refute and say he is married and not a bachelor. That’s the kind of LIAR you are dealing with. And, by the way, there are #Moditards who claim the marriage of Modi-Jashodaben was a child marriage to defend his lies. FALSE! Modi was over 18 and Jashodaben was over 16 when they got married in 1968 and at that time both were of legal age for a legal marriage. There was no child marriage as Modi’s liars also peddle to fool others. The LIE of Modi was finally caught when he had to file nomination papers for LS2014 as lying about his marital status may have caused a disqualification.

#7. I lived on “Bhiksha” (alms) for 35 years:

A man who concocts nonsense like “Extra 2AB” is obviously not very good at Math or even simple Arithmetic. By his own account, Modi left home during high school and worked at his brother’s ST Bus Stand canteen. He then returned home, got married at 19, dumped his wife, dumped his family and went off to the Himalayas. But this is what he told a bunch of Aaj Tak reporters on a boat – that he lived on Bhiksha for 35 years (Video: 14 secs):

That’s an astonishing lie. Why? Because Modi wasn’t in Himalayas for more than a few months. He then joined RSS, worked at a Masjid in Godhra, indulged in all kinds of activities and early 1990s also made a trip to the US and Europe on “sponsored money”. Hardly the life of a man who lived a life of Bhiksha for 35 years. And after all that, Modi became CM of Gujarat in 2001 at the age of 52. Does this liar mean to say that from age 19 to 52 he lived on Bhiksha? IMPOSSIBLE! In between he also claimed to have agitated for the freedom of Bangladesh and was arrested. Where in hell was he begging during all these activities? Free food at some dharamshala or some RSS canteen DOES NOT AMOUNT to seeking Bhiksha. Free food at some Langar also does not amount to seeking Bhiksha. These LIPSTICK LIES are self-inflicted victimhood to portray his FAKE Gareebi and nothing else. Count down another big LIE! This is not corroborated by anyone, cannot be verified and also doesn’t add up mathematically.

#8. I did Satyagraha for Bangladesh and was arrested:

Nowhere in any write up on Modi since he became a CM in 2001 was there ever a mention of his agitation for Bangladesh and being arrested or participation in any agitation whatsoever. A bigger agitation at that time was that of the “Total revolution” led by Jayaprakash Narayan during 1974-75 which partly led to the Emergency by Indira Gandhi. This “mind-nucker” concocts lies at the drop of a hat anytime, anywhere. If indeed Modi was arrested, there has to be some police record of even a minor note in the police diary. Nobody has produced any such evidence.

This fake story of his satyagraha and arrest for Bangladesh came only in 2021 mostly after his new-found love for Mujibur Rehman to please Muslims in India. It is possible that Modi may have participated in some meetings here and there over Bangladesh but to grandly claim he did satyagraha and was arrested is blatantly FALSE. At the time, Indira Gandhi supported the cause of Bangladesh freedom and there is no record of anyone being arrested for supporting that cause. It’s a contradictory claim when the GOI led by IndiraG actually supported freedom for Bangladesh. So, why would supporters be arrested? Another of those fancy fairy-tales of the mental concoction.

#9. I will bring back black money and distribute it to honest taxpayers:

Modi and the BJP drummed up the black money issue so much during the LS2014 campaign that people actually believed this guy was serious about it. Far from being serious, Modi has been FRIVOLOUS and CAVALIER about this issue to say the least. Someone concocted a case in SC, which then asked for the black money hoarders list in a sealed cover and Modi has made absolutely no effort to have the names released or the money recovered in anyway. Modi also grandly stated that if all the black money was brought back, every citizen could be given 15 lakhs to their account. Although it’s a hypothetical statement, it’s another big LIE that he peddled with no serious intentions of punishing any of the corrupt. Till date, Modi govt has not directly prosecuted a single corrupt person but on the contrary, all the corrupt men of Congress are now honourable members of BJP.

#10. Na Khaoonga, Na Khaane Doonga:

By this desi statement, Modi means he will not only be not corrupt or accept bribes but also not allow anyone to be corrupt or indulge in bribery. But this turned out to be another twisted LIE laid hollow by the Supreme Court striking down the fraudulent and secretive Electoral Bond scheme. These bonds are “bearer bonds” which anyone could buy and donate to any political party of his choice. Obviously, BJP was the biggest beneficiary of this scam being the ruling party getting about 73% of all the EB slush funds till 2023:

HD Kumaraswamy once said that politics without corruption is impossible. This was during the height of the Kejriwal agitation against Congress corruption, joined in chorus by BJP. Those were the only true words the tear-jerker ever spoke.

In the case of Demonetisation, after much grandstanding, Modi also allowed all political parties to convert their hoarded cash into new currency without any limits. Thus, he also helped all parties in converting black money into white without limits. Count another BIG LIE of Modi in his false claims of fighting corruption when he actually promoted corruption and also enrolled corrupt Congress members into the BJP for political profits. This is a man without principles and scruples and only hungry for power and his lipstick image.

A Motherlode Of Lies - Part 1

Politicians across the world lie and lie regularly. Perhaps it’s a professional skill required of them. But once you are in high offices like the President, Prime Minister or even a Chief Minister one expects some decency and honesty and to rise above the level of ordinary politicians to be truthful about your life, issues facing the country and policies being made. Narendra Modi is perhaps the only govt Head in the world whose lies just keep on growing right from his personal life to his political life. His entire life seems to be built on a foundation of half-truths, twisted concoctions and often extreme lies.

George Washington, one of the founding-fathers of the US, the first President of the US who also was a General that led the US in its fight for independence against the British made this statement on September 17, 1796 (September 17 also happens to be Modi’s birthday):

That extraordinary comment by Washington is filled with foresight and wisdom. Modi’s rise to power is largely due to the Congress corruption and a large number of Hindus voting for him wholeheartedly taken in by his promises and falsehoods. After becoming PM, Modi systematically worked against Hindus and exceeded Congress in all forms of appeasements, doles and abuse of govt institutions like ED or CBI and also a reckless abuse of Hindu temples for votes and reinstating the draconian SC/ST Act through which innocent Hindus are summarily arrested in fake cases. That makes Modi a very dangerous character who has not only betrayed his core voters but also turned BJP into a den of the corrupt and the worst scumbags from every other party. All this without making one single policy or scheme specifically for the betterment of Hindus in general while he doled out all kinds of Revdis for Muslims and others.

LK Advani called Modi a brilliant “event manager”. That is true. Modi is a great event manager and all his events and road shows have great choreography, actions directed by a script and ramp-walk style movements, hand animations but that is understandable if your life is full of lipstick. Modi has gone far beyond event management for votes or publicity. He has actually created “fictitious events” around his life that are logically false and also happen to be unverifiable from any real source. In this series, we will take a good look at all the lies that Modi has concocted and peddled over the years and why this “Snow-flake” person is perhaps the most dishonest man and a spectacular LIAR in politics across the world.

#1 I sold chai:

This is perhaps the biggest lie peddled by Modi. It’s a fantastic concoction of a fake rags to riches story that would put mafia wiseguy Henry Hill in “Goodfellas” to shame. Many RTI queries reveal there is no record of Modi selling chai but I don’t expect such records from the 1940-50s to be available for chai-stalls at every station. The govt does give out written contracts to all vendors at railway stations but maybe in the 1940s-50s there was no such practice. His own brother claimed that while their father had a tea-stall, Modi didn’t sell any tea. Modi claims he had sold chai from the age of 6. Throughout his tenure in Gujarat as CM, there was no such chai-story. This suddenly came up only during the LS2014 campaign only after that foulmouthed Manishankar Aiyar remarked Modi is fit only to sell tea outside Congress HQ. There is no circumstantial evidence or anecdotes from peers of Modi from Vadnagar who ever claimed he sold chai during his Gujarat days. This fake chai-story further morphed into “I was gareeb” by Modi, which is again a falsehood and lie as we shall see.

The reasoning for this is, Vadnagar was not even a tiny station in the 1950s and hardly had any train traffic to be selling anything at the station. It could not have been a livelihood for anyone. It is possible, though, that Modi’s father may have had a tea-stall somewhere outside the station but that doesn’t still prove that Modi sold chai. The audacity of Modi’s lies is, he even went to on to claim he sold chai on trains, sometimes got slapped for giving cold-tea to passengers. Any customer can feel the glass and know whether the tea is cold or hot to pay for it. And NO! People don’t go around slapping kids because the tea was cold. Another great LIE! This is then further escalated by a bombastic claim that a chaiwallah selling tea on trains knows more about railways than the railway minister:

#2 I was gareeb:

This is another big LIE. There is nothing in history as evidence to prove Modi lived in any kind of poverty or suffering during his childhood or thereafter. In fact, compared to most people in India during the 1950s and 1960s, Modi lived quite a comparatively comfortable life. While a vast population of India, even after independence, would have never had a photo taken and many may have not even seen a camera, this liar was constantly in western suits, bow-ties and acted in dramas. Most children in India at that time wouldn’t have seen a camera and wouldn’t even know how to wear a tie with a proper knot but Modi was skilled in such pursuits:

It is not just these lipstick pursuits of dressing up as a Westerner that poverty-stricken Modi appears in. He also claimed his family accommodated a guy called Abbas in their house and paid for his school education. Really? That is because Abbas’s father had died and he had no resources so Modi’s family became his family. What kind of poor family adopts someone, shelters him, gives him food and pays for his education? Modi’s own lies are not well-rehearsed. When you tell lies, you have to rehearse your stories properly and not be contradictory in your lies.

#3 I slept at railway station:

Modi adorns his lies about selling chai to a higher level of abject poverty by claiming he slept at a railway station. He claimed this in a speech in the Parliament of all places:

As already stated earlier in this post, Vadnagar was not a station with any great traffic. Even today, Vadnagar has just about 3 or 4 trains passing through. These are mostly passenger shuttle trains operating between Mehsana and nearby towns. It is after Modi became PM that a few more trains have been added to this route. Modi did not sell chai, was not poor and there is hardly any cause for him to be sleeping at a railway station that didn’t have any kind of traffic to speak about. All his fantastic lies are concocted to paint himself as “I was gareeb, didn’t have food, sold chai for a living from age 6, slept here and there like a homeless beggar”. Each time he speaks, Modi elevates his previous lies to a higher level. There is nothing and no reason why Modi would have been compelled to sleep at a railway station as you will see in the next LIE!

#4 I didn’t have a proper house:

With that kind of statement, you would naturally assume the person either lived in a shanty or some “jhopdi” in a slum. This is exactly what Modi claimed when giving out the AWAS Yojana houses to some at Solapur. This is another fantastic LIE. But if you look at the old house of Modi in Vadnagar, it was a PROPER HOUSE and not some shanty. Yes, it is indeed very old now and looks fully depreciated. This is natural for a village house like this after some 70-80 years or so. But this would have been a proper house, perhaps even better than what most villagers had in the 1950s and 1960s for anyone to claim he didn’t have a proper house:

I don’t know if the AWAS Yojana houses are some 5-star luxury houses that Modi seems to claim he wanted when he was a child. But all evidence points to the fact that his house during his childhood was certainly better than the matchbox-AWAS houses that the govt is building. However, I appreciate the fact that the GOI under Modi is working towards housing for all but to turn it into another “victimhood” story is what this crass, dishonest LIAR does. He lived in a proper house, had a proper family, they sheltered and fed Abbas and even celebrated with grand food on Eid with neighbouring kids (according to Modi). So NO, he neither slept at railway stations nor lived in some slum. Modi lived in a proper house that most Indians did not have during the 1950s and 1960s.

Since the LS2014 campaign, Modi’s lies have grown exponentially. Smaller lies have grown into a mountain or new lies concocted to promote an image of eternal “Victim” of gareeb or hungry or homeless. This series of dishonesty will continue.
